Chapter 40 19. Another beginning of the story
"Danny, I want to tell you a story."
"?"
"Oh, I'll talk about this later, it's our story."
"Well, I'm listening."
"The beginning is a bit complicated. I can't tell whether I saw your picture in the various magazines of my classmates, or the first time we met at the opera that summer. Do you remember? You are behind me, Wake me up."

"What are you laughing at, Danny?"
"That's your version."
"You have another one?"
"It was the summer of that year, and I was dizzy in a meeting, complaining in my heart why I didn't inherit a simpler business.
"I was waiting for my then girlfriend at the back door of the opera house, where there was a fountain that was said to be very efficacious, and there were a lot of coins in it.
"A girl came out of the opera house on a bicycle. She took some coins out of her pocket. I thought she was going to make a wish, but she bought a bottle of water I made from a small shop nearby..."
