It is my second novel, written in 1956. The real protagonist of the novel is actually Yuan Chonghuan, followed by the Golden Snake Langjun, two characters who did not officially appear in the book.Yuan Chengzhi's character is not clear.However, Yuan Chonghuan did not write it well, so in May and June 1975, he wrote another "Critical Biography of Yuan Chonghuan" as a supplement. There have been two major revisions, increasing the length by about one-fifth.The painstaking effort to revise has been devoted to this book the most. "Critical Biography of Yuan Chonghuan" is a new attempt of mine. The goal is to write historical texts without directly quoting other people's words in the main text, and at the same time, I am not completely standing on the sidelines.The main originality of this "Critical Biography" is that the root cause of Chongzhen's killing of Yuan Chonghuan was not due to a conspiracy, but the conflict between the two personalities.This point has never been pointed out before.

This text does not have much academic value, and the reference books are all in my hand, and the number is very limited.Several materials from "Taizong Shilu", "Chongzhen Changbian" and other books are all indirect quotations, and the original sources cannot be checked, and there may be fallacies.If this text has any meaning, I am afraid it lies in its "readability".With considerable effort, I have avoided the obscurity and obscurity of ordinary historical texts.Compared with the first draft of "Guangdong Hero Yuan Manzi" published in "Ming Pao", the current appearance is smoother in writing.
