原来徐州宿迁极乐庵的小刀会在三月里一场暴动,四下传闻不断,除了认定国府强拆东岳庙,改建演讲厅是“老头子”下令要整肃洪门老巢之外,到五月间又有白莲教亲扬言教主要亲临宿迁,发放“武藏十要”、助人练成绝世神功。此事当然难为当局所容,是以藉辞弹压地方暴动,其实是要阻挠白莲教主的义举。这番流言不消说是白莲教自己放出来的——可想而知的原因是那教主根本拿不出什么“武藏十要”来。这样阴谋立论,无非是借故拖遁而已。但是流言既起,便无从追本溯源、盘故查实,反而让那“武藏十要”益显神奇奥妙了。加之以丐帮弟子不甘落居人后,自要表示本帮曾“参赞盛事”,从而也争着出面宣称:“武藏十要”确有其物,原为山西大同丐帮所持所有,祇不过为白莲教徒众劫得,而后下落不明了。 丐帮这一方面的说法祇有极小的一部分略近眞实,那就是:在山东泰安泮河之上、通西桥下的桥孔之中的确有那么一十二颗佛头堆置着,然而白莲教并未眞正“劫得”这批样本,祇那负责验收的教亲和先遣送货的叫化子吵闹扭打之后、双双跌入泮河、一齐溺死了。从此非但这十二颗佛头沉埋湮没,另外八十四颗也没了着落。 然而国民政府古物保管委员会中有一名小小的科员却不肯死心。此人祖上也是世代相传的练家,一门扑刀赶棒的武艺可以上溯自江南八侠排名第六的吕元。其谱系如何,后文中另有交代。而这科员也不是别人,正是《民初以来秘密社会总谱》的作者李绶武。 李绶武至此益发坚信不疑:邢福双手中必定握有一些和“武藏十要”有关的秘辛,甚至就是部分、或全部“武藏十要”的内容。然而在民国二十年底、二十一年初的那个冬天,李绶武费尽千辛万苦,餐风宿露地追到南昌之际,祇听说邢福双加入了另外一个叫“蓝衣社”的组织,却没有谁再见过他。以李绶武的家学渊源,对江湖中人、武林间事,可谓无所不知、无所不晓了,连那“武藏十要”的名目、传承,都是《民初以来秘密社会总谱》一书率先拈出的。但是他却从未听人说起过什么“蓝衣社”、“红衣社”之类的组织,这一下好奇之心大发,逢人又查问起“蓝衣社”的情实,差一点送掉了性命。 也就在李绶武在南昌被“蓝衣社”分子逮捕、密囚、加刑又释放而加入这个组织的同时,欧阳昆仑已近五足岁了。这孩子与通西桥下那堆佛头算是有缘——他日日晨间醒来便吵着要去同佛祖玩耍,其间竟有三年之久。欧阳秋、顾氏万般无奈,祇得顺着这孩子的脾性;每当欧阳秋在家开坛说武,顾氏便带着小昆仑去至桥下嬉戏。孰料这一十二颗佛头上确实藏着几部机关,本不该落在这孩子身上;这,却又要向邢福双那头说去。 当初邢福双奉命潜至云冈石窟,昼间扮做游人香客,随前来观赏参拜的旅客四处走看,可怎么也看不出白莲教要九十六颗佛头的门道。于是到了夜晚,他又私下潜入各个石窟,爬到各佛像的身上、头顶仔细勘验。一连数夜下来,忽然在一颗佛头上看出了蹊跷。 这位于大同市西郊二十五公里,沿武周河北岸开凿的石窟占地不过一公里见方,但是中、大型的石窟就有五十三个,小型者更不计其数,早在北魏文成帝和平初年——也就是公元四六〇年——已经开始凿建,诸佛造像几乎都是挺鼻、垂耳、圆脸、耸肩、肥胸,乃受印度西北方犍陀罗风格之影响;释迎像最多,多宝佛、定光佛、弥勒佛次之。无论站立、半跏、倚坐、交脚等身姿皆有。 邢福双最早发现异状的两尊佛像是在接引佛洞之中——两佛对坐,状如文殊与摩诘之对话。邢福双爬上东首的一尊背后,踩抵佛肩,只手按住佛头,另只手持火炬一照,发现那佛顶之上居然凿着四四一十六个孔洞——这佛祖又不是和尙,头上烧如许戒疤是何道理?邢福双一面凝想着、一面将就着摇曳的炬光摸摸佛头上的孔洞,又摸摸自己的头顶,摸过几回,忽然觉得四肢百骸顿时间舒爽轻盈起来。于是打起精神再仔细摸了两回,又发现了另一个门道——原来这四四一十六个孔洞凿得有大有小,正与常人较有力的四根手指头径围相合。于是可以看出:那其实是四组分别以四指压按头顶穴道的图式。这一次邢福双再将炬火移交左手,换了惯用的右手四指朝其中一组穴图比了个准,往下再一按,祇觉四指仿如插进一堆又柔又软,且深不达底的冰水之中。 邢福双登时吓傻,抽手悬空,而人也没什么异状,祇觉耳聪目明,可以在夜暗之中看见且听见数十百丈以外的纤毫之物、草芥之声。这一来邢福双知道自己得了宝贝,随手在佛身上打灭炬火,瞠起好一双昭昭的夜眼,再插第二式。四指落穴,好似插进一团温热却并不炙烫的火苗里,亦复深不可测。待他再抽起手来,浑身上一卜的经络却自行冲撞周流个不停了。至于那第三式,四指甫下,如迎空飘絮,骨肉筋皮全给不知何处旋起的一阵疾风吹得七零八落。可待邢福双抢忙收指的霎时之间,他一个没站稳,却从大佛肩上跌了下来——实则这也不是跌,而是像一根全无重量的羽毛那么晃荡着落了地。直到那第四式上,邢福双才遭了道儿:四指按处,但觉指尖触着了比针还尖、比刀还利的锋锐之物——他不知这叫触电——而这尊佛头上的四组穴位的法式正是“文殊无过瑜伽”中教人以指按顶门,体会、修练那水、火、风、雷四种人体所能达到的最高境界——所谓清澈灵明、温煦柔暖、轻盈飘摇和暴烈焦躁的“四至四自在”,这“四至四自在”也祇是“文殊无过瑜伽”中的一小部分而已。 且说邢福双折腾了大半夜,好容易捱到天明时分,眞是一番地转天旋、头昏脑钝。再爬上这接引佛洞里的另一尊大佛之际,所凭仗的只是些许本能的、直觉的意识。他见这佛头顶上也有四四一十六个孔洞,但觉眼熟,却怎么也想不起先前的奇妙经历。当下忖道:佛头凿洞,颇不寻常,其中必有缘由,何不多找些帮中弟子来数看数看,究竟哪些是打了洞的?哪些又是未曾打上洞的?也不知是那一跤摔的成分大些,或是教先前那佛头上所显示的四组穴式给殛的成分大些?总之在接下来的几天里,邢福双不停地闹着个同样的“撂爪就忘”的毛病。这“撂爪就忘”是北五省里共通的土话——这些地方的乡野人相传:十二生肖中排第一位的老鼠有预卜先知的能耐。常见老鼠静坐一隅、抬起前脚,凑近口吻,乡人便说那是老鼠在“掐指一算”了。可老鼠虽然会算,却有个要不得的缺陷,那就是牠们的忘性太大,祇消前爪往地下一撂放,就把算出来的一切都给忘了。于是乡人便称这健忘之人为“鼠哥”——可怜邢福双夜探佛窟,平白落了个健忘之症,还到处惹人在背后笑骂一声:“鼠哥!”着实十分冤枉。 闲话休提,虽说邢福双伤了头脑,毕竟人不是个笨蛋,身边又常有本堂弟子提醒,是以终于在五月间数出了云冈石窟中打了洞的佛头数目:果眞是九十六个。然而也因为这不大不小的毛病,延误了三月间交货的程期,害得白莲教亲既没有“武藏十要”得以示众,也没有石窟秘宝的“小缘法”、“大缘种”得以招摇,只好附和小刀会的阴谋立论,嫁祸给老漕帮和国民政府,造出一番扯不清的讹谣是非。 这番延误在白莲教损失不小,可在丐帮却更是元气大伤。他们花了上百之众的人力,斫下佛头、运出山西,还一路载到山东地头上,先遣交货的叫化子一入泰安便浮尸泮河,后首顾看剩余八十四颗佛头的四十多口子乞丐闻声便吓破了胆,要问邢福双拿主意,谁知邢福双又犯了毛病,应声答道:“拿什么主意?” “还有发圆小(八十四)个佛头,该如何处置?”一个乞丐斗胆追问道。 “发愿小的佛陀济什么事?发愿大了那佛陀力灵光啊!”邢福双两句答非所问的话一出口,众丐情知这堂主也担不起事了,当下一哄而散。有的就地找堂口挂号投门,有的回山西丐帮太原总堂报信,有的就跟个溜出裤筒的屁一样没了影了。邢福双回过神来,再欲鸠合众人,身边只剩下七、八个要回太原总堂的乞丐。这一下懊悔不及,索性随他们上太原总堂自请罪责,折竿摔碗、撕袋击砖——妙的是,这敲门砖往他天灵盖上三击而粉碎,把他这健忘之症给打好了一多半儿——除了那一回夜探佛顶的情景没能及时想起来之外,前尘后事忽忽皆到眼前,思路也猛地活络了。他心念电转:我这敲门砖三击之下,打却了丐帮堂主的身分,反而落得自在。但看这太原总堂堂口之中多的是虎视眈眈、彷佛信我不过的化子,万一我沉不住气,说不定还落个侵呑佛头的罪名。不如就此装疯卖傻,远走异地,再作打算。主意既定,当下叩头出堂。人问有什么去处?他祇随口说了个江西——话出口又后了悔——以丐帮分布之广,覆盖之大,侦伺之密,通信之捷,他一旦说了个去处能不去吗? 硬着头皮,邢福双祇好千不情、万不愿地上了路。可他在接引佛洞里的那一段奇遇,却恰恰应在了欧阳昆仑身上。 原来欧阳昆仑从满两岁上起,几乎每日都到通西桥下孔洞之中摩挲着一颗一颗的佛头玩耍。须知孩童作耍、全凭十分专注、更无半点机心;也不管什么功过成败、进退得失,是以不喜、不惧、不忧、不怨,似无意间有所为、为而勿有,且不计较。这样行事,即便是修身、齐家、治国、平天下也做得了,更何况一部武功呢?欧阳昆仑日日爬那一十二颗佛头,久而久之,也发现了佛头上布列着大大小小的凹洞。初时他不过以指尖抠抠抓抓,也就惬心满意了。继而不知怎地摸起自己的一颗小光头来,其实脑中早已将佛头上的凹洞位置记得一个滚瓜烂熟,摸着自己的头、便好似摸着佛袓的头;摸起佛祖的头、又好似摸起自己的头。忽而有那么一天,他往自己的头上使劲按了一下,但觉五指齐根没于颅内,竟然沁心透脾涌起一阵欢喜清凉之感。在一旁照看小昆患的顾氏也没觉出什么异状,祇道儿子摸着己的头颅光圆柔滑、甚是好玩。欧阳昆斋年纪幼小,哪里说得出如许复杂微妙的肤触体会?心中想起的却是夏日里吃甜瓜的美妙滋味,顺嘴便说了声:“甜瓜。”顾氏更不疑有它、也乐得在一旁逗笑:“小昆宠的脑袋像甜瓜。” 殊不知此际的欧阳昆仑那五只小小的指尖所点者,正是俱舍宗“阿毘达摩人空法有功”中的一部“金顶佛光”。在梵语中,“阿毘”为“大”、“正”、“无比”之意;“达摩”为“法”之意。译成中文,通称“对法”,是智慧的别称。“谓以正智,妙尽法源;简择法相,分明指掌——如对面见,故云对法。”俱舍宗本乎梵名婆薮盘豆的天竺法师所著之《阿毘达摩俱舍论》,这天竺法师在中原佛教中可是大大有名,号曰世亲,其著作便是经玄奘法师亲译之、发扬之、而后成立了俱舍宗。“人空法有功”的来历究竟是出自世亲之手、抑或玄奘之手,已不可考;唯知此功亦本于“俱舍”之奥义。“俱舍”的梵语为“Kosa”,有“藏”、“鞘”、“茧”等译字,意指包含摄持。《大日经疏》十四曰:“法界藏者,梵音俱舍,是鞘义也。犹如世间之刀在鞘中。” 顾名思义:这“人空法有功”的精髓即在一个“藏”字上。无论是世亲或玄契悟得人头颅果然是一部“无尽藏”,乃通过五指摩挲、打通穴脉、再附之以绵绵不断的观想,方得由这“人空”遁入“法有”的境界。这部“人空法有功”中的“金顶佛光”是个枢纽,从这个枢纽分摄而出,另有十七部功法,非可于一时之间历数。但是“金顶佛光”与邢福双先前在接引佛洞中亲即点试的“文殊无过瑜伽”里那“四至四自在”不约而同、无独有偶地也成为一种“对法”,因此当年凿刻石窟者才在这相对而坐的两尊佛像头上刻了这两门功法,所谓“如对面见”也。邢福双有音——而无缘、欧阳崖仑无心而有缘,但是日后的福祸悲欢,又岂能因一部武学而定夺?设若欧阳昆仑没有从这“金顶佛光”入手,莫名其妙练成一副铁头功,将来即便庸碌一生,倒也未必落一个冤屈负辱、遗恨殡身的了局。 可这人世百态既不能以一时遭际的臧否而定夺,便也不能就其了局境遇的哀乐来论断。欧阳昆仑无心插柳,开出一路一千四、五百年来无人能识、无人能习、亦无人能想象的奇诡功夫,却不仅是武林中的怪谈轶事而已—
