Chapter 1 preamble

Since its establishment in 1953, the Writers Publishing House has taken publishing excellent literary works as its own responsibility, and has no opinions on elegance and vulgarity. The so-called "vulgar literature", because it pays attention to storytelling, plot deduction, embodies human relations and common feelings, and sages and sages to entertainment, so it often has "elegant literature" in terms of the cultivation and improvement of personal character and the influence and benefits of worldly customs. "Literature" has not been able to take care of both women and children, and has a subtle effect. Our agency launched the Zhuzhuzhuzhu, also out of the aforementioned purpose and understanding.

Huanzhu Zhulou (1902-1961), originally named Li Shanji, later renamed Li Shoumin, was born in Changshou County, Sichuan (now Changshou District, Chongqing City).Huanzhu Zhuzhuzhu mainly writes martial arts novels, inheriting traditional Chinese chivalrous novels and novels of gods and demons, and initiating new martial arts novels represented by Liang Yusheng, Jin Yong, and Gu Long, and extending to today's popular genres of fantasy and comprehension. None are unaffected by it.Scholars and writers such as Nan Huaijin and Bai Xianyong also highly respected him. Therefore, he is revered as the great master of Chinese martial arts novels.

It is the representative work of Huanzhuzhuzhuzhuzhu, with its broad sea and sky, free imagination, majestic, magnificent and unpredictable writing style, which has always been favored by readers.Wen Rui'an made an accurate comment: "The original poster of Huanzhu used his unrestrained imagination to bring martial arts novels into a fantasy realm of sword fairy. The unique insights of Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Philosophy, no matter the description of the scenery, the narration of objects and people, the literary talent is rich and elegant, and the strange and weird. Every wonderful description and wonderful sentence make people feel a wave It’s not flat, but there’s another wave, and you really have to hold your breath and concentrate on reading it in one go, and it’s amazing and unimaginable.” Ni Kuang called it “the most wonderful book in the world”, which shows that it is one of the masterpieces of Chinese folk literature. "Martial arts novel" can be summed up in four words. This point, the reader should be able to slowly understand.

Finally, it needs to be explained that, with the support of Mr. Li Guanding, the son of Huanzhu Zhuzhu, we organized a special team to conduct a new collation of this book by comparing it with the original version of the Republic of China and other major editions. In terms of novel segmentation and punctuation marks, partial adjustments have been made while respecting the achievements of predecessors. In terms of written language, a large-scale unification and improvement work has been carried out.Mr. Guan Ding personally wrote the article "Precipitated Past Events", recalling the life fragments of his father, Mr. Huanzhu Louzhu, and including this book as a postscript, which is not only our support, but also a feedback to the vast number of book lovers and readers of Huanzhu Louzhu. Here, I would like to express my gratitude.

I hope that the writer's press edition can be affirmed and supported by readers, and become a version that can be passed down. writer's press December 2011
