Meng Yuanchao said: "Happy Zhang's Tibetan friend is named Ji Li, who owns a small ranch. His small ranch is adjacent to Jiangbu's big ranch. Jiangbu intends to annex his ranch, capture his only son, and frame On the charge of colluding with horse thieves, Ling Jili was forced to donate the pasture before he was willing to liberate his son. "Ji Li loves his beloved son so much that he wanted to let Jiang Bu blackmail him. When Happy Zhang found out about this, he went into Jiang Bu's house at night and shaved off the hair of one of Jiang Bu's sons. If Bu doesn't put Jili's son back, he will cut off the head of Jiang Bu's son the second time he comes."

Jin Biyi clapped his hands and said with a smile: "Wonderful, this is exactly how to treat a person in the same way!" Meng Yuanchao said: "According to Happy Zhang, he originally wanted to punish Jiang Bu, but because Jiang Bu slept in the Eagle Pavilion that night, he visited him and couldn't do anything, so he changed his target and took Jiang Bu's son. Let it out." Meng Hua thought in his heart: "It turns out that Happy Zhang has already been to the Eagle Pavilion, no wonder he was able to come and go freely that night, and he is so familiar with the situation of Jiang's family."

Meng Yuanchao continued: "Although Jili's son was released the next day, he was severely tortured at Jiangbu's house, and there was no good flesh on his body. Jili took off his son's bloody clothes and tore off a piece of paper. To Happy Zhang, said: "If you have anything to do for me, just send someone to bring this bloody coat, and I will go into the water and into the fire. He treasured the bloody coat, and naturally he also has other things to say." The meaning of hatred will never be forgotten. After this incident, he also sold the ranch and moved to live in Lhasa.

"Happy Zhang knew that I was going to Lhasa. Before he left, he gave me this bloody coat. I didn't want to use it, but you need it right now. You can take it to Ji Li as a token. " Meng Hua took the bloody coat and said bitterly: "Unfortunately, we failed to catch Jiang Bu that night. When I return from Lhasa, I will find him to settle accounts and avenge this old Tibetan man." Meng Yuanchao then wrote a letter to Master Nongzan, the Chief Protector of the Potala Palace, handed it to his son, and told him Jili's address. Meng Hua said: "Father, you can recover from your illness at ease. I have seen Master Nongzan and I will be back right away." Meng Yuanchao said, "You don't have to rush back. You must get things done. That's the most important thing. Miss Youjin Taking care of me is much better than having you by my side."

Jin Biyi smiled and said: "Don't worry, when you come back, I guarantee that your father will be healed already." She sent Meng Hua a ride, and said softly and attentively, so she didn't need to elaborate. After Meng Hua and Jin Biyi broke up, they walked alone. Looking back on what happened in the past month, it really felt like a world away.Although there is sadness in my heart, there is more joy.The recognition of father and son, the reunion of flesh and blood, this is already a great joy, and the addition of winning the heart of the person he likes is the icing on the cake, and the cloud in Meng Hua's heart has disappeared. Now all he worries about is one thing: How can he live up to his father's expectations and accomplish this important event for the rebel army.

The journey was safe and sound, and we arrived in Lhasa the next day. Lhasa is a mountain city, and the Potala Palace is built on Putuo Mountain in the east of the city. There are many temples in the city. The urban area is centered on the Jokhang Temple built in the Tang Dynasty, and the most prosperous Bajiao Street is around the Jokhang Temple.HOS houses are mostly flat-roofed, built with crushed stones and rough stones, neat and solid, and most of them have three or four floors. In addition to this kind of stone houses, some citizens live in yurts, which are tents made of woolen felt, also known as huts. The scenery is very different from the cities in the mainland, which is quite novel.

Once you step into Lhasa, the most eye-catching thing is the Potala Palace. It is said that Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty asked Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo to build it. Princess Wencheng is the daughter of Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty. She was only 16 years old when she married Songtsan Gampo in the fifteenth year of Zhenguan (641 A.D.).It is said that Songtsan Gampo began to believe in Buddhism after marrying Princess Wencheng. He often went to Mount Putola, where the Potala Palace is now, to burn incense and sit quietly. The princess asked him to build a temple on the mountain for fear that someone would disturb him. He obeyed. In the words of the princess, the temple built will be the world-famous Potala Palace.

According to Tibetan historical records, the Potala Palace was built in the seventh century AD. It is of a grand scale. There is a large palace on the top of the mountain, 999 attics on the mountainside, and three palace walls around it.The palace wall is tall and the building is stable, which is rare in the world. The main hall in the palace, carved beams and painted buildings, painted with gold, is magnificent and solemn. It is a pity that after the war, some buildings were destroyed. The main part of the current Potala Palace, the Red Palace and the White House, were built by the fifth Dalai Lama during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. Although the scale is slightly smaller than the original, it is already rare in the world. It's a match.

Meng Hua had no time to browse the scenery, so he quietly entered Jili's residence at night.Ji Li's house lived in a relatively remote alley, and Meng Hua sneaked in without anyone noticing. Ji Li and his son were chatting about family affairs, which gave him a big jump. Meng Hua took out the bloody coat and said, "My father is a friend of the thief, Happy Zhang..." Before he finished speaking, Ji Li jumped up for joy, bursting into tears, and said, "Is your father Meng Yuanchao Meng Daxia? I have been looking forward to you father and son for a long time. I heard that your father was injured, so it doesn't matter."

Meng Hua said: "How did the old man know that I would come?" Ji Li said: "The thief Joy Zhang just came three days ago, but unfortunately he only stayed for one night and left again." Meng Huaxi said: "It turns out that Uncle Zhang has been here before, I don't know when he will come again!" Ji Li said: "He said that he will go to Huijiang again, and I am afraid that he will come again in ten days and a half months." Meng Hua was a little disappointed, and thought to himself: "If Uncle Zhang is still here, things will be much easier." Ji Li folded the bloody clothes and said to his son: "My child, you must keep your hatred in your heart; you have received favors from others, and you will never forget them."

Little Jili was about fifteen or sixteen years old, with a thin body and scars from whipping on his face. He answered the word "yes", hid his bloody clothes, and immediately knelt down to kowtow to Meng Hua. Meng Hua hurriedly helped him up, and said, "How dare I take it, you are willing to take me in, I should thank you." Old Ji Li said: "Meng Shaoxia, Zhang Daxia has already told me about the battle between you and your father in the Eagle Pavilion. You once beat our enemy, that is, our benefactor." Meng Hua said: "It's a pity that Jiang Bu couldn't be killed that night, and I disappointed the old man." Little Ji Li said: "Fortunately, you didn't kill Jiang Bu. If you did, I'd be disappointed." Meng Hua said with a smile, "Why?" Little Ji Li said bitterly, "I hope one day I can take revenge with my own hands and catch him. Just like he beat me, I will beat him black and blue." Meng Hua raised his thumb and praised: "Good ambition! If you have this ambition, you will definitely be able to achieve your wish." Xiao Jili said: "I have to learn my skills well before I can take revenge. Meng Shaoxia, can you teach me martial arts?" Meng Hua said with a smile: "My martial arts are not yet able to be your master, but I can help you achieve this wish. Well, why don't you worship Uncle Zhang as your teacher?" Xiao Jili said: "Hero Zhang's whereabouts are uncertain, he said that he will not accept apprentices in his life." Meng Hua said: "Then I will find a master for you. Let's talk about it in the future." Old Ji Li said with a smile: "Yes, I haven't asked why Meng Shaoxia came here. Boy, you are really ignorant, just remember For your own affairs, Meng Shaoxia, if you want to use our father and son, please don't be polite, just talk about it, even if you go through fire or water, the old man will never give up." Meng Hua said: "My father wants me to send a letter to Venerable Nongzan. I wonder if there is a way to meet him?" After hearing this, Old Ji Li looked embarrassed. Meng Hua asked: "But there is something very difficult." Old Ji Li said: "The Potala Palace can't be entered casually. Master Nongzan is the chief Dharma protector lama, and his status in the Potala Palace is second only to the Dalai Lama. It is even more difficult to see him. I just You are an ordinary commoner, and I don’t know any of the deacons and monks in the Potala Palace who can speak well, so if I try to bring you in, I’m afraid I won’t be able to.” Meng Hua was very disappointed, and said: "Then I have to wait until night and sneak into the Potala Palace, hoping to see him." Old Ji Li quickly waved his hands and said, "Don't! The Potala Palace is a holy place. Unless you are a distinguished guest invited by them, it is a serious crime to step in without authorization. I don't know why you want to meet Master Nongzan, But think about it, you always hope to have a good discussion with him, how can you turn yourself into his enemy first." Meng Hua said: "I am young and inexperienced, thank you for your advice. But I have to send this letter to Master Nongzan. What should I do?" Old Ji Li said with a smile: "Young man, don't worry, I haven't finished my words yet." He took a puff of his pipe cigarette, smiled and said: "I couldn't think about it at first, but luckily you came at just the right time! The Potala Palace is open for one day every year for pilgrims from all over the world to visit. This day is the Buddha’s birthday on April 4.” Meng Hua said dejectedly, "It's only mid-February now, when will we wait for the Buddha's birthday?" Old Jiri laughed and said, "You forgot that the Tibetan calendar is different from your Han calendar. Today is April 2 in the Tibetan calendar, and the Buddha's birthday is the day after tomorrow." .” Meng Hua said happily: "No wonder I met many pilgrims entering the city along the way. It turns out that the day after tomorrow is the opening day of the Potala Palace, so I can go in." Old Ji Li said: "Of course, as long as you also pretend to be a pilgrim. Tomorrow I will buy you a set of local clothes. You can treat it as my distant relative of the Han people who came from other places. As long as you can speak a few words of Tibetan, you will be fine." It can also be perfunctory." Meng Hua said: "I have learned some Tibetan on the way, and I can barely cope with ordinary coping. Thank you for your advice, old man!" Old Ji Li said: "I will accompany you the day after tomorrow. What etiquette and language barriers should be observed, etc. You don't have to worry about it. But after you go in, it depends entirely on your luck. I hope you have the opportunity to see it. Praise the mage." The next day, Xiao Jili accompanied Meng Hua to visit various cities in the city. Firstly, they had nothing to do that day anyway, and secondly, it was also for Meng Hua to get acquainted with the local conditions. There are many scenic spots and historical sites in Lhasa. They first went to the Jokhang Temple for sightseeing. The Jokhang Temple is in the center of Lhasa. The most prosperous Bajiao Street is built around the Jokhang Temple. On the street of Bajiao Street, there stands a big stone tablet. People come and go, and everyone walks under the stone tablet. Almost everyone touches it.Meng Hua felt strange, and asked Little Ji Li, "What kind of stele is this! Why does everyone have to touch it?" Little Ji Li said: "This is the famous 'Uncle, Nephew and Alliance Stele' in Lhasa. It is related to a beautiful princess in ancient times of your Han people." Then he explained the origin of this stele to Meng Hua in detail. It turned out that Tang Taizong Li Shimin married Princess Wencheng to Tibetan King Songtsan Gampo (called Tubo King at that time), so Tang and Tubo were called uncle and nephew. In the second year of Changqing (A.D. 822) of Emperor Muzong of the Tang Dynasty, envoys were sent to Tubo to conclude another covenant, and a stele was placed to record their passage. This stele is called "Uncle, Nephew and Alliance Stele".There are two languages in Tibetan and Chinese engraved on the stele. There is a saying among Tibetans that this stele will help those who are unhappy. If a businessman touches the stele early in the morning, his business will go smoothly that day; if a shepherd touches the stele, his cattle and sheep will not be lost that day; body, that day will be endorsed... In short, whoever touches the stone tablet will be free from disasters and diseases on that day, and everything will go smoothly. Of course, Xiao Jili is not very familiar with history, (the relevant dynasty, year, time, etc. are added by the author), but the origin of "uncle, nephew and alliance stele" is familiar to Tibetans, and the story is eloquent. Meng Hua said with a smile: "It turns out that Han people and Tibetans were relatives almost a thousand years ago. This stele is a testimony of Sino-Tibetan friendship!" Little Jerry said: "Yes, although some local princes often provoke Tibetans to beat Han people, we Tibetans have always regarded Han people as friends." After passing the "Uncle, Nephew and League Monument", we soon came to the Jokhang Temple. There are two ancient willows growing in front of the temple gate. Tibetans who come to Jokhang Temple to offer incense will first put the ancient willows on their heads to show respect.Meng Hua couldn't help being curious again, and after doing the same, he asked Xiao Jili why. Little Jerry said: "It is said that these two willows were planted by Princess Wencheng. There is a myth that they grew from Princess Wencheng's hair. We Tibetans respect Princess Wencheng very much and call these two ancient willows 'Princess' Liu', the ceremony just now was to show respect to Princess Wencheng." After entering the Jokhang Temple, I saw two sheep molded on the "Golden Roof" of the main hall, looking up towards the golden "Falun", with a lifelike expression.Meng Hua asked about Xiao Jili, and it turned out that there was another story. It is said that both the Jokhang Temple and the Ramoche Temple were built by Princess Wencheng, who personally checked the terrain and approved the architectural model. The former site of the Jokhang Temple was originally a lake, which was filled with goats before construction, so the Tibetan name of the temple is "Riasachulangzukang" means "the magical temple where goats transport soil". After telling the story, Xiao Jili said: "Have you noticed the gate of the Jokhang Temple?" Meng Hua said: "It is resplendent and magnificent, and it is not the same as the temples I saw along the way." Little Jiri said: "I'm not talking about the scale. What about other aspects." Meng Hua said: "I didn't pay attention carefully, so I don't know what the difference is." Xiao Jili said: "The gates of the general temples in Tibet open to the south, only the Jokhang Temple faces the west, and the Ramoche Temple faces the east. The reason is said to be that Princess Wencheng loves Buddha, so she opened the gate of the Jokhang Temple to the West Heaven Buddha Land, And she missed her hometown very much, so she opened the gate of Ramoche Temple to the east." Meng Hua said: "There are really many legends about Princess Wencheng here." Little Ji Li said: "There is also a Buddha statue of Sakyamuni in the main hall in the middle. It is said that Princess Wencheng brought it to Tibet from Chang'an. Let's go in and pay homage." There were a lot of faithful men and women who went to the Jokhang Temple to visit and pay homage to the Buddha on this day, probably because the Potala Palace will open tomorrow, and Buddhists from all over the world have already arrived one after another. The main hall was filled with cigarettes and crowded with people. Most of them are Tibetans, but there are also some Han Chinese.People who burned incense and worshiped knelt in front of the golden lotus seat and muttered prayers. Although the voices of talking to themselves were not loud, when there were too many people, it was very noisy. It is not surprising to burn incense and pray. What is strange is that within less than half a stick of incense, Meng Hua has already found several couples arguing in front of the Buddha statue. Meng Hua couldn't hear what they were arguing about, but everyone said the same thing The two words, these two words are particularly loud. After speaking, the quarreling parties kowtowed three times, but went out holding hands like good friends. The pronunciation of these two characters is like "juewo" in Beijing. Meng Hua quietly asked Little Ji Li, "What is Jue Wo?" Little Jerry said: "We Tibetans are the most honest and trustworthy people, and they also value oaths the most. They don't swear easily. When they really have to express their hearts, they will swear and say 'Juewo'. What is Juewo? The meaning refers to the Sakyamuni Buddha statue brought by Princess Wencheng. These two words also represent the entire meaning of the oath. That is to say: Sakyamuni Buddha is above, he sees everything, what I said It's the truth. After taking the oath, everyone will trust each other and stop arguing." Meng Hua said: "So that's how it is." He felt that there were too many people and he was about to go out when he suddenly heard someone say the word "juewo" in Chinese, the voice was so familiar.Meng Hua looked where the voice came from, and was surprised when he saw these two people. If you know who these two Han people are, it turns out that they are Jin Biyi's elder brother, Jin Bifeng, and Jin Biyi's senior brother, Jiang Shangyun. The word "juewo" was spit out from Jiang Shangyun's mouth.Meng Hua was taken aback for a moment, and thought to himself: "It's strange, the friendship between the two of them is closer than that of brothers, but they quarreled about something, and they had to follow the Tibetan custom and swear before the Buddha statue of Sakyamuni." After listening to it, I realized that they were not arguing, but Jiang Shangyun used a half-serious, half-joking tone to prove that what he said was the truth. Jin Bifeng sighed and said: "So, my sister really likes that kid. Sigh, this kind of thing happened, I really didn't expect it! But I don't believe that kid will be a good person." Meng Hua's heart skipped a beat, and only then did he realize that their "quarrel" was actually related to him. Jin and Jiang talked softly in Chinese, and no one paid attention to them in the noisy crowd, only Meng Hua pricked up his ears to listen. Meng Hua was wearing Tibetan clothes and squeezed into the crowd. When he saw Jin and Jiang, he turned around immediately, but they didn't notice him. Then I heard Jiang Shangyun say: "I don't believe that kid is a good person, but my junior sister believes in him very much. Those words are really said by my junior sister." Jin Bifeng snorted, and said, "Even if what Biyi said is true, I can't let her marry a boy of unknown origin." Jiang Shangyun smiled wryly and said: "Your sister's temperament is very stubborn, I'm afraid I can't let you, my brother, decide." Jin Bifeng became more and more annoyed, and said: "If she dares not listen to me, I will take her home. If I meet that kid, I have to fight him again!" When Meng Hua first found them, he was very happy. No matter what, they were always Jin Biyi's relatives.Meng Hua felt that he should explain the misunderstanding to them and tell them the news about Jin Biyi. But after listening to their words, it was as if a basin of cold water had been poured over his head. "If I appear in front of them, I'm afraid they won't allow me to explain, and they will turn their faces immediately. I should try to eliminate their misunderstanding of me, but I can't do it in such a crowded place." Thinking to this point , Meng Hua and Xiao Jili whispered: "It's too crowded here, let's go." Walking out of the Jokhang Temple, Xiao Jili was still excited, and said: "Maybe there are fewer people in the Ramoche Temple. There is a golden hall in the Ramoche Temple, and a Mozhu Dorji Buddha is enshrined in the hall. It is said that Princess Wencheng was buried there." Under this Buddha seat." Meng Hua said: "It's getting late, I think it's better to go to the observance at another day." Little Jiri said, "Yes, you have to go to the Potala Palace tomorrow, so it's better to be careful." The appearance of Jiang Shangyun and Jin Bifeng cast a shadow in Meng Hua's heart. "Even if this kid is not a bad person, I can't let my sister marry him." This was Jin Bifeng's promise to Jiang Shangyun in front of the Buddha statue of Sakyamuni.Meng Hua could predict that the future between him and Jin Biyi would be full of ups and downs. But Meng Hua now is very different from Meng Hua two months ago. Two months ago, he still felt ashamed; but now he has the courage to make great strides forward in the journey of life.Of course, this journey of life also includes the road of love. "As long as you have me in your heart and you in my heart, there is no power in this world that can separate you from me." This is what Jin Biyi said to him.Her sincere words were much more powerful than her brother's intimidation, and they were enough to dispel the shadow in Meng Hua's heart. "I can't let too many distracting thoughts disturb my mind. I have more important things to deal with tomorrow." Meng Hua put all troubles behind her and slept soundly that night without even a dream. Woke up early the next morning, and went to the Potala Palace with old Ji Li in good spirits. His third master, Dan Qiusheng, was good at changing his appearance, and he also learned some skills in this area. He put on Tibetan costumes and made up to look more like a local boy. The Potala Palace is a thirteen-storey building. It is said that there are 9,999 rooms. No one can count the exact number. It is located in the northwest of Lhasa. Dala Mountain is far away from Yaowang Mountain in the southeast, and nine out of ten of the journeys are quite steep mountain roads. On the slope halfway up the mountain, there are two parapets extending to the Potala Palace.Although there is a protective wall, when you go up to the Potala Palace, you will see the palace straight up to the sky on the right and the hanging rock of tens of feet on the left, which is still a bit frightening.Meng Hua felt a little sorry, and said, "Old man, you have really worked hard today." Old Ji Li said with a smile: "I went to the Potala Palace once thirty years ago. Now that I can go to the Potala Palace again before I go to the west, I can die without regret. This is my blessing Look at this parapet..." He was afraid that Meng Hua would not pay attention, so he explained: "This parapet was built from the foot of the mountain, and the project is huge. There are also exquisite sculptures on the wall , all the Buddha statues of the heavens are listed among them. I heard that all the skillful craftsmen in Tibet, including Han craftsmen, worked hard for three years to build it." Meng Hua glanced around and saw those exquisite sculptures, colorful, Although he is not a Buddhist, he can't help but be in awe. Walking through the slope halfway up the mountain and approaching the Potala Palace, the scenery is even more magnificent. The Potala Palace has nearly 10,000 rooms, overlapping one another, and covering the entire mountain with resplendent and resplendent buildings. Under the radiance of the morning sun, it is even more dazzling.Lao Jili pointed to him as he walked and explained to him: From the white gate along the stone steps to the houses on the sixth floor, the white village is called Baizhai, which was built by the fifth Dalai Lama Shanhuihai. The thirteen-story main hall was built by his agency, Sangjie Jiamucuo, and it is called Hongzhai. The houses in Hongzhai are painted in four colors of mud: red, yellow, black and red ocher.Red mud wall, yellow mud wall, black mud at the gap between the top eaves and window sills, red ocher mud at the recessed part of the main hall. The roof of the palace is resplendent and resplendent, with dragons and eagles on the cornices. Looking from a distance, it looks like a colorful sea of houses, which is amazing! They set off early in the morning and came to the Potala Palace, only half an hour after sunrise, but there were still many people who came earlier than them, the entrance of the palace was already crowded with people. Old Ji Li led Meng Hua into the Potala Palace through the gate on the left.As soon as I entered the palace gate, I suddenly saw four huge portraits of warriors, some holding weapons and looking murderous, some playing lutes, amiable and amiable.Old Ji Li told him that the Tibetan name of these four warriors is "Jiqin Rixi", and they are the "guardian gods" of the Yellow Sect lamas. Passing through several corridors and several temples, Lao Ji Li led Meng Hua to the oldest Buddhist hall in the Potala Palace - Pabaluku Xueshu Buddhist Hall.Among the nearly 10,000 houses in the Potala Palace, it can be concluded that it was built during the Songtsen Gampo period, and only this one survives. With the help of butter lamps, you can see the statues of Songtsan Gampo and Princess Wencheng. They sit cross-legged side by side. Under their feet is a "tiger stove" that can hold two large pots, which is said to be used by Princess Wencheng for cooking. The two of them squeezed in along with the flow of people. At noon, Fang Shi came to the center of the Potala Palace. On the highest floors, there were golden lights and jewels everywhere, and it was the stupa of Dalai Lamas.Since the fifth Dalai Lama moved to the Potala Palace, the remains of all Dalai Lamas have been enshrined here—only the sixth Dalai Lama, Cangyangjiacuo, was buried by Qinghai Lake. Among them, the spiritual pagoda of the fifth Dalai Lama is the most spectacular. It is five stories high and the entire pagoda is wrapped in gold skin.According to a Tibetan history book, a total of 119,082 taels of gold were collected during the construction of this pagoda.Around the golden pagoda, there are thousands of colorful pearls, emeralds, agates and corals. There are many Buddhist stories and life stories of Dalai Lamas in the past on the walls of the sutra halls, such as the pagoda hall.Stepping into it, it is really like being on the hillside, dizzying. There were more and more people visiting and worshiping the Buddha. Meng Hua walked back and forth between the circuitous corridors and the spacious halls with the flow of people, and unknowingly separated from Lao Jili. Meng Hua turned around and looked for Ji Li.At this time, it was mid-afternoon, and on the one hand, there were still pilgrims coming in, and on the other hand, many people left the palaces and gathered in groups of three or four in the open space between the palaces to eat the tsampa they brought.Meng Hua was secretly anxious: "Squeezing around in the crowd like this, how can there be a chance to praise the mage?" A Tibetan child walking in front of Meng Hua said, "Grandpa, I'm hungry." His grandfather said, "Son, please be patient. The palace on the left enshrines the relic of Pabalu Kangfo. After going in and worshiping, I will go out with you." The palace was packed. The child said with a bitter face: "There are too many people here, and it's very stuffy. Grandpa, there are so many palaces, why don't you go to the palace where no one goes to worship, but you have to huddle with others here." The old grandfather said: "That is not a shrine dedicated to the gods, but the residence of the great lama, and outsiders are not allowed to enter." After a while, the child suddenly said: "Grandpa, look, why is someone going in now?" There are nearly 10,000 rooms in the Potala Palace, and only some of them are open. The "bedroom" of the "living Buddha", the residence of the lama, and some temples that are only for the lama to worship the Buddha are listed as forbidden places. However, since the pilgrims who came to the Potala Palace knew what to avoid, even though the places listed as "forbidden places" were only closed doors, there were no special guards. The old man leaned on the railing of the cloister and looked down, and sure enough, he saw a palace whose gate was closed had just opened, and the pilgrims lined up in two rows in an orderly manner, as if they were waiting for a summons. Another old Tibetan squeezed forward behind Meng Hua, greeted the child's grandfather, and said, "This is a rare opportunity, are you going to receive the blessing of the great lama?" The old grandfather suddenly realized, and said, "Oh, It turned out that the great lama blessed believers on behalf of the Buddha. But do you know if you are blessed to worship the Living Buddha?" The old man said: "I heard that the living Buddha will not show up this year, and the four great lamas will preside over the blessing of the top for him, and make friends with all living beings." It turns out that every year when the Potala Palace is open, the Dalai Living Buddha will make a public appearance once as a rule, and let the believers kneel before him. Worshiping in front of the worshiper, he stroked the head of the believer and sprinkled "dharma water", which is said to represent the blessing of the Buddha on behalf of the person. The old man said the names of the four great lamas, Meng Hua listened with pricked ears, but did not praise the master.Meng Hua couldn't help asking the old man in blunt Tibetan, wondering if Master Nongzan would come out. The old man stared at him, seemed a little surprised, and said, "You are from out of town." Meng Hua said, "I'm from Qinghai. In addition to living Buddhas, we only know that there is a Master Nongzan in Lhasa." The old man was quite satisfied with Meng Hua's answer, and said with a smile to his old friend, the child's grandfather, "No wonder everyone respectfully calls the mage Miluo Juesu, as expected, people from far away know his name." Meng Hua asked, "What does Miluojuesu mean?" The old man said, "Miluo means to extend to all directions, Juesu means to benevolent, and praise means to be a prime minister. His dharma name is Nongzan, but long before he got this dharma title, everyone has already respected him as Miluo Juesu." Meng Hua thought to himself: It seems that this great master is quite popular in Tibet, no wonder his father also Pleased to associate with him. The old man went on to say: "You are very good at asking questions. Originally, according to the rules of communication, if the Living Buddha does not come out to 'make a relationship', he should be replaced by the chief guardian lama. But I don't know what happened. I can't come out anymore. Little brother, what a coincidence that you came here!" Meng Hua was very disappointed: "Isn't this a trip to the Potala Palace for nothing?" While thinking about it, he suddenly heard the bell ringing and the pipe blowing the sheng. The old grandfather said in surprise: "Isn't this the Sanskrit music for welcoming guests? I don't know which distinguished guest is here." After a while, there was a wave of fluctuation in the crowd, and the news spread. The old man told Meng Hua: "It turns out that this honored guest is Mr. Zhao Tinglu, the Xuanfu envoy sent by the imperial court to Lhasa. He is sincerely seeking to see Master Guanghui." Meng Hua said: "Who is Master Guanghui? Does he have a higher status in the Potala Palace than Master Nongzan?" The old man smiled and said, "Master Guanghui and Master Nongzan are the same person, and 'Guanghui' is the title given to him by the imperial court." Meng Hua thought about it, Master Nong Zan's Tibetan name was "Miluojuesu", and the interpretation was "Benevolence spreads to all directions", which must be the origin of the title "Guanghui".Secretly laughing at his own confusion, a glimmer of hope ignited in his heart. The child said: "Grandpa, let's go out and watch the fun, I'm really hungry." The old grandfather stroked him lovingly and said: "Okay, okay, if you can praise the master, it's better than going to pay homage to Pabalukuzan's relic." Meng Hua was eager to see Master Nongzan, so he squeezed out of the crowd. When he got outside, the "Xuanfu Envoy" Zhao Tinglu led three officers and happened to pass in front of them.Of the three officers, Meng Hua knew two of them. These two people were the two military officers who fought against Meng Hua on the way to Qaidam, one was named Ye Yuhun and the other was named Liu Tingzhi. Meng Hua thought to himself: "I heard from Ding Zhaodong that there is a military counselor named Wei Tuoping under Xuanfu envoy Zhao Tinglu. Ye Yuhun, Liu Tingzhi, and Wei Tuoping are called the three great masters of Ouchi, and Wei Tuoping is the first, and the three of them are together, so I have to be very careful." Zhao Tinglu and his entourage, led by two Zhike Lamas, walked towards a corridor leading to a palace, and crowds of spectators crowded on both sides of the corridor.Meng Hua was thinking about how to praise the mage, when suddenly Ye Yuhun opened his eyes wide, and two sharp eyes swept towards him, as if he was looking for someone he knew in the crowd.Meng Hua was taken aback, only saying that he had already found out. At this time, Meng Hua has already pushed to the front, if he hides, it may arouse the other party's suspicion, so he just kept calm and followed his eyes.In the blink of an eye, two figures were vaguely seen from behind, a bit like Jiang Shangyun and Jin Bifeng.Meng Hua was quite surprised, and thought to himself: "Jin Bifeng also fought against Ye and Liu, why did he take the risk and come to the Potala Palace with Jiang Shangyun? Could it be that they were also entrusted by the rebels?" .” The crowd suddenly fluctuated again, and the noisy voice was like boiling a pot of water: "Did you see, Miluo Juesu has appeared!" "Where, where?" "Ah, didn't he come out?" Bless the believers with the crown, he is welcoming the distinguished guests in the palace." Meng Hua squeezed onto a stone platform, looked intently, and saw that the gate of the palace was opened, and a lama in a red cassock descended to welcome the distinguished guests, but after a while, the gate of the palace closed again.Meng Hua thought to himself: "Although I don't have the chance to get close to Master Nongzan, I finally gained something." One must know that the Potala Palace has nearly 10,000 houses. If Zhao Tinglu hadn't visited Master Nongzan, Meng Hua How can I know where he is. Unknowingly, the sun was setting, and the big bell hanging on the thirteenth floor was ringing loudly. This was the bell calling people to leave the Potala Palace before dark. But after a while, people who were sightseeing and worshiping the Buddha came out from all over the palace, and "flowed" from the eight opened gates like the tide. The Potala Palace is opened once a year, and no unruly pilgrims have ever been found, so the deacon lamas in the palace have never searched for people who might be hiding in the palace and not going out. ——There are tens of thousands of mansions, and the number of people visiting and worshiping Buddha is also tens of thousands, and it is impossible to search for them. But I didn't expect that this year, there was a person who deliberately "broke the law", and this person was Meng Hua. Behind the palace, there are several tall cypress trees. Meng Hua secretly climbed a cypress tree to overlook the scene in the palace. In the palace, the music was played carefully and people were chattering loudly. One of the living rooms was brightly lit, and one could vaguely see a banquet being held and the guests and hosts having a good time. As night fell, it was already dark. The people who visited and worshiped the Buddha had all gone clean at this time.Except for the noisy sound coming from the palace, the surrounding area was silent.Probably those little lamas are busy cleaning. Meng Hua thought to himself: "Although Master Nongzan's residence is not open, it's just that outsiders are not allowed to enter. It is different from the 'forbidden area' of some temple in the palace. Dad is his old friend. I will go in and visit him on behalf of Dad. , should not be regarded as blasphemy." Since there was no other way to meet Master Nongzan, Meng Hua had no choice but to take a risk. Regardless of whether the three masters in the palace were inside, he had the courage to turn a kite on a cypress tree, jump over the palace wall, and sneak into the palace. He didn't dare to go to the living room, thinking: "I'll find a place to hide first, and after Zhao Tinglu is gone, I'll go out and find Master Nong Zan." Most of the young lamas in the palace serve the "nobles" in the living room, but there are also a small number of young lamas who shuttle outside and watch the night. Fortunately, the palace has a wide room and many steps. He hid in a building without telling the eyes and ears of the lamas who were watching the night.
