不过她想起的这个女儿，却并不是去西山游玩的这个女儿楚天虹。而是她留在齐家的女儿齐漱玉。
“我是在漱玉周岁时候离开她的，算来今年她已是十八了。唉，不知她知不知道她的亲生母亲还活在人间？”
她离开齐家是得到公公的默许的，但只有一个条件，不许她再回齐家探望女儿。这个条件是她的公公叫老仆人丁勃转告她的。

正在胡思乱想之际，又有人来了。
这次来的是震远镖局总镖头汤怀远的儿子汤秉乾。
汤秉乾是奉了父亲之命来请楚劲松的。
庄英男道：“少镖头，你来得不巧，他刚出门去了。”

汤秉乾有点尴尬，说道：“我知道楚叔叔是不喜欢作无谓应酬的，但这两位客人却非一般客人可比！”
庄英男道：“哦，这两位是什么奢拦人物。”
汤秉乾道：“一位是梅花拳的掌门人梅道生。他是剪大先生、徐大侠和家父联名发出英雄帖请来的朋友。听他说，他和楚叔叔也是颇有交情的朋友。”

汤秉乾道：“姓齐，名大圣。”
庄英男怔了一怔，说道：“齐大圣，这个名字可是好怪。大约不是他的真名吧？”
汤秉乾道：“我也不知他是真名还是假名，家父最初从二叔口中听到这个名字之时，也曾开过玩笑说，这人大概是要自比齐天大圣吧？但刚才家父与他会过面后，虽然我不知道他们谈过一些什么，但见家父的神情，却委实似是对他另眼相看！”
庄英男如有所思，默不作声。
汤秉乾继续说道：“我不知道家父和他单独见面的时候谈过什么，但他一来到镖局，首先就问起楚大侠，却是我亲耳听见的。看来他比梅掌门对楚叔叔更为仰慕。”
庄英男惊疑不定，说道：“他怎样问起你的楚叔叔。”
汤秉乾道：“也没什么。他说对楚大侠慕名已久，但是听说楚大侠已经来到镖局，他才应二叔之邀的，因此他一到镖局，就想和楚叔叔见面了！”
庄英男道：“他是何方人氏？”

庄英男连忙问道：“不过什么？”
汤秉乾见她如此仔细，不觉有点诧异，但想好奇之心人皆有之，突然来了这样一个神秘人物，也难怪她要多问，便道：“二叔是在河南与他相识的。听他的口音也好像是河南的口音。”
庄英男心头一震，连忙强自抑制，半晌说道：“哦，他是河南口音！”
汤秉乾笑道：“武功天下第一的齐燕然隐居在河南王屋山，楚夫人莫非怀疑他是齐家的人？”
庄英男不敢作正面回答，只道：“依你看呢？”
汤秉乾道：“我没见过他的武功，但即使当真是正如二叔所说，他的武功深不可测，他也决不会是武功天下第一那一家齐家的人。”
庄英男道：“何所见而云然？”
汤秉乾道：“道理十分浅显，此人年纪大概不过四十多岁，当然不会是齐燕然。齐燕然若还在世的话，最少也该有七十岁了。”
他歇了一歇，继续说道：“齐燕然只有一个儿子，大约二十年前，早已死在武当五老之手，这是天下皆知的事。婶婶大概不会不知吧？”
庄英男道：“是，我知道，江湖上藏龙卧虎，到处都有能人。此人是河南人氏，又恰巧姓齐，那也不足为奇。可惜你的楚叔叔恐怕要很晚才能回来，今天是不能去拜会你们的贵客了，接风宴上，请你向他道个歉吧。”
汤秉乾走后，庄英男心乱如麻，不住在想：这齐大圣是谁？
蓦地她想起一件事情。这是她做齐家少奶奶的时候，老仆人丁勃告诉她的。据丁勃说，她的丈夫自小顽皮，有个小名就叫做“小猴儿”。他只有在父亲面前才装作循规蹈矩，因此底下人又把“小猴儿”“升级”，私下称他为“小猴精”。当时她正在新婚，她的丈夫已经瞒住她在外面花天酒地了。丁勃把这件事告诉她，大概是想她明白，她的丈夫自小是野性难驯，希望她更多一点忍耐的。
她喃喃自语：“小猴儿，小猴精。”陡地心头一震：难道是他？他并没死，他活着回来了！
说到“猴精”，古往今来，名头最大的猴精，不就是“齐天大圣”孙悟空么？虽然这位花果山的美猴王只不过是神话中的人物，但自有以来，这位由“美猴王”晋封为“齐天大圣”的孙悟空，哪一个时代不都是妇孺皆知？
“莫非正是因为他自小被人家叫做小猴儿，长大了就要做一个大闹天宫的齐天大圣？”庄英男心里想道。
她这猜测倘若不错的话，那个“齐大圣”可不正就是“他”的化名？
她住的这幢房子和镖局不过一墙之隔，墙的那边就是镖局的花园。她只要打开卧室的后窗，就可以看得见那边的情景（她的卧房是在楼上的）；最妙的是窗外有棵枣树，园子那边的人却是不会发现她的，即使她是站在窗前。
园子那边传来嘈嘈杂杂的声音，似乎正在开筵宴客。庄英男躲进卧房，轻轻打开一扇窗子，心头卜卜的跳。
庄英男猜得不错，震远镖局的接风宴正是设在园中。
主客是梅道生和齐大圣。
汤总镖头为了替他们接风，特地请来几位来头不小的陪客。
陪客中有武当派的俗家弟子叶忍堂，他在武当派的地位仅在掌门人与武当五老之下。
有少林派的还俗弟子印新磨。他的罗汉拳和伏魔杖据说已经得到少林寺的真传。
有洛阳的名武师谢国镗，他是徐中岳的好朋友。一套五虎断门刀法在江湖上大大有名。
还有一位名气比上述三人更大，辈份也比他们更高的特邀陪客，乃是京师武术界的老前辈，曾经做过禁军总教头的雍惊涛。他在六十岁那年退休，今年已有七十三岁了。
筵开两席，除了特邀陪客之外，镖局有头面的大镖头也都来了。
梅道生是梅花拳的新任掌门（前任掌门是他的哥哥梅清风。梅清风年纪并不大，但不知怎的，在洛阳喝了徐中岳的那顿结不成亲的“喜酒”之后，回去就把掌门让给弟弟），和这些人都是熟悉的。
但这些人最注意却是那个陌生的“主客”齐大圣。
齐大圣却是神情落寞，似乎盛筵方设，便已意兴阑珊。
他只主动说过一句话：“不知哪一位是扬州楚大侠？”
这是在主人汤怀远正要给他介绍那些特邀陪客之时，汤怀远未曾开口，他就先发问的。
当他知道楚劲松不能赴宴之后，他就不发一言了。
“这位是我们京师辈份最高，德望俱隆的武林前辈雍老先生”“这位是武当派的名宿叶大侠”“这位是少林派的印大侠……”
这些响当当的名字从主人口中说出来，他只是点一点头，连“久仰”之类的客套话都不屑一说。
似乎只有一个扬州大侠楚劲松才是他想要结交的人，其他人都不放在他的心上。
这样的情形，当然令得主客都很尴尬。
主人介绍完毕，应该是请客人入席的时候了。
按礼节来说应该请最尊敬的客人来坐“首席”。
“首席”只有一个，如何安排？
本来梅道生和齐大圣是刚从远方来到的客人，接风宴也是为他们而设的，应该请他们之中的一个来做首席贵宾。
汤怀远默察眼前的形势，他请来的陪客显然是对齐大圣甚为不满。他若一开口就请梅道生“上坐”，又恐齐大圣对他不满。他当然不会忘记，他的弟弟是曾再三叮嘱他对这位客人必须特别优待的。
他不能“得罪”齐大圣，但更不能“得罪”其他客人，怎么办。
梅道生甚会观风察色，似乎已经知道主人的为难，抢先说道：“雍老先生辈份最尊，请雍老先生上坐。”
雍惊涛虽然是“陪客”身份，但这“身份”只是主客双方心照不宣的身份而已；汤总镖头请他来的时候当然无须言明只是请他做“陪客”的。
汤怀远如释重负，立即以主人身份再加敦请：“雍老先生众望所归，请上坐吧，别推让了。”
雍惊涛连连摇头，说道：“这怎么行，两位贵客远道而来，应该请他们上坐！”
梅道生首先推辞：“雍老先生，我比你矮两辈呢，乡党论齿，我纵然面皮再厚，也怕人家笑我狂妄自大啊！”
雍惊涛道：“这是替你们两位接风的宴会，不要你推我让了。梅老弟，你不肯坐首席，那就这位齐先生坐吧！”
齐大圣竟不推辞，金刀大马的就坐下来！
雍惊涛涵养功夫极好，心里虽然不悦，却不作声。
正当齐大圣摆好大马金刀的姿态要坐下去的时候，印新磨忽道：“且慢。”挥袖在他那张椅子一拂，这才笑嘻嘻道：“有点灰尘，我给你拂试干净，请坐。”
印新磨在江湖上以脾气暴躁闻名，他本是少林寺僧人，后来就是因为他火气太大，屡犯戒律，才被方丈饬令他还俗的。他此举当然不是为讨好齐大圣。
原来他因为看不过眼，有意要令这位首席贵宾出丑的。在他这一拂之中已是用上了少林寺的般若神功。虽然只是轻轻一拂，那张椅子木质已经“软化”，一坐下去，非得四分五裂不可。
齐大圣好像丝毫不知，一屁股就坐下去，并且说了一声“多谢”。
印新磨笑道：“不必客气。”睁大眼睛，看他出丑。
不料他所等待的“结果”并未出现，尽管他的眼睛越睁越大，齐大圣仍是稳坐如山。
其中的奥妙，只有震远镖局的总镖头汤怀远看得出来。在印新磨以袖拂椅之时，他已知道印新磨不怀好意，因此特别留心齐大圣的举动。齐大圣侧身让印新磨替他拂试椅子之时，曾用指头一按椅背。
汤怀远是个武学大行家，虽然看不懂齐大圣用的是什么功夫，但已知道他坐下去椅子不至碎裂乃是因为印新磨的内力早已被他这一指之力抵消之故。
齐大圣一坐下，其他的人亦依次就座。只有印新磨还呆若木鸡。
齐大圣微一欠身，作个手势，说道：“印大侠，你也请坐呀！”
印新磨发现自己失态，心里想道：“好在旁人尚未识破”，此时只有齐大圣对面那张椅子空着，他就坐了下来。
只听得“咔嚓”声响，椅子塌了。印新磨事先并无防备，吓得连忙跳起，只见椅子已经裂开。
齐大圣道：“素闻少林寺有七十二种武林绝学，名称我都说不上来。不知印大侠这门功夫是不是叫做铁屁股功？当真令人大开眼界，佩服，佩服！”
印新磨惊魂稍定，面红红的说不出话来，不过此时他亦已知道是怎么样着了对方道儿了，“这厮刚才作手势请我坐下之时，想必是已用劈空掌力在我这张椅子捣了鬼了。”但以劈空掌力而能震松木质，在“出事”之前，印新磨是怎也料想不到的。这也就是他不加防备的原因，事后发觉，已经迟了。
汤怀远哈哈一笑，说道：“印大侠卖弄功夫不打紧，我可得多准备几张椅子才行。”当然他知道椅子的倒塌不是由于印新磨卖弄功夫，他是故意这样说来为印新磨解窘的。
换过椅子后主客俱都就座。汤怀远为了冲淡不愉快的气氛，频频劝客人饮酒。
齐大圣与雍惊涛、汤怀远干杯之后，叶忍堂站了起来，说道：“齐先生，我和你也干一杯。”
齐大圣淡淡说道：“好，我是来者不拒，干杯！”
叶忍堂和印新磨是好朋友，他是籍“干杯”为名，想替好友泄愤的，武当派的内功擅能以柔克刚，碰杯之时，他使出了阴柔之极的内功。只须再过片刻，酒杯就会在齐大圣手中爆裂。这一时刻，可能就正是齐大圣在干杯过后，把酒杯拿回来凑近唇边的时刻。
齐大圣是个武学的大行家，叶忍堂这一点弄鬼的手段如何能够瞒得过他？
酒杯相碰未碰的霎那间，齐大圣心念电转：“我把他的酒杯震碎易如反掌，但主人对我优礼有加，我可不能扫了主人的面子。”要知酒杯震碎，当场就会破片纷飞，虽然料想不至伤及客人，但做主人的可就不知如何下台了。
他心念一转：“我用七招剑法和欧阳镜天（记得书中是欧阳镜无）交换的雷神指功夫，正好派得上用场！”
双方一碰杯，叶忍堂发觉对方并未用上内力，心里暗暗欢喜。
齐大圣把酒杯拿回来，一饮而尽，说道：“先干为敬。”随即把酒放下，酒杯连一点裂痕也没有。
叶忍堂暗暗吃惊：“难道他的内功比我练得还更阴柔？”过了一阵，见酒杯并没碎裂，这才战战兢兢的拿起来喝酒。
哪知酒杯没有异状，杯中的酒却有古怪。
酒本是烫得半温，最适宜入口的。但叶忍堂把酒喝入口之时，却几乎给烫坏了舌头！
叶忍堂毫无防备，骤吃一惊，“哇”的一声就把酒吐了出来！
原来这雷神指的功夫能发出高热，是一种极为怪异的邪派功夫，功夫练到深时，这根指头点到敌人身上就似烧红的烙铁一般。齐大圣由于本身的内功已差不多到炉火纯青之境，所以更能青出于蓝。他把雷神指的功夫化为掌力，热力凝聚掌心，在碰杯之时，同时使出了隔物传功的绝顶内功！
神功传入杯中，酒热如沸，杯却毫无异状。叶忍堂纵然加意提防，又如何能够察觉？他哇的把酒吐出来，当场出丑，尴尬之极。
这一次连震远镖局的总镖头汤杯远都看不出其中奥妙了。
