Chapter 1 Chapter One

It got dark early that night, which is normal for this time of year. It's cold and windy, which is normal. It started to rain, which is very normal. A spaceship has landed, and this is not normal. No one was around, the only witnesses were some ridiculously stupid quadrupeds. These guys had no idea what to do with the ship, or even what to do with it, eat it, or what to do.So they did what they always did, which was to run away and try to hide behind each other, but they never succeeded. The spaceship glided down from behind the clouds, and only one light seemed to be turned on. If you're far away, it's hard to see the ship through the lightning and clouds; but up close you see it has a strange beauty—gray, elegant, and small.

Of course, no one knows what the difference in size or shape of the ship means, but if you've read the Middle Galactic Survey Report, you'd guess that the ship could hold about six people. In fact, you will guess it anyway. This survey, like most surveys of its kind, cost a lot of money and yielded results that were nothing new to anyone—except that everyone in the galaxy has 2.4 legs and a head Outside of coyotes. And this one is obviously not correct, so no one cares about it anymore. The spaceship descended quietly through the rain, and the dim headlights wrapped the hull in a beautiful rainbow. It made a slight hum that grew louder the closer it got to the ground, turning into a muffled vibration at six inches from the ground.

Then it finally landed and went quiet. A hatch opened, and a gangway unfolded automatically. A light appeared at the door, and the bright light flowed in the dark night, causing a shadow to shake. A tall figure appeared in the light, looked around, flinched, and hurried down the gangway. He can be seen carrying a large shopping bag under his arm. The man turned and waved hurriedly at the ship. The rain had begun to wet his hair. "Thank you!" he yelled, "very grateful..." A deafening thunderclap interrupted him.He looked up worriedly, and suddenly thought of something, and hurriedly rummaged through his big plastic shopping bag, only to find a big hole at the bottom of the bag.

On the side of the shopping bag, there are a few big characters printed on it, which read (anyone who knows a bit of Centaur language will recognize it): Centaur Prime Star, Duty Free Supermarket in the Port of Brysta.Be like the fiery-worthy twenty-second elephant in space—roar! "—Wait a minute!" the shadow yelled, waving its arms at the spaceship. The gangway, which had begun to retract, stopped and reopened to let him in. After a while he reappeared, holding a worn towel and stuffing it carelessly into a shopping bag. He waved again, tucked the bag under his arm, and ran to some trees for shelter. The spaceship behind him began to lift off.

A flash of lightning flashed across the sky, and he paused, then continued to run, but changed direction, keeping a safe distance from the trees. The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and it fell like a pour.He hunched over and walked quickly, stumbling from time to time because his feet slipped. He walks through the mud.Thunder rolls over the distant mountains. He wiped the rain from his face in vain, and staggered on. There was light again. This time it wasn't lightning, just scattered dim lights that flickered on the horizon and then disappeared again. He stopped to look again, then quickened his pace and walked towards the direction where the light had appeared.

There was an uphill ahead, and after walking two to three hundred meters on the slope, a wall appeared in front of him.He looked up, threw the bag in his hand, and crawled over himself. As soon as he landed, some kind of machine rushed towards him, and there were two lights flashing through the rain curtain in front of him.The man shrank back hastily, and the machine had already rushed in front of him.The shape of the machine can be seen, basically a low bulb, like a small whale - smooth, gray, smooth and frighteningly fast. Instinctively, he raised his hand to protect himself, but the machine rushed past him, creating a spray that splashed all over him.

Another flash of lightning flashed across the sky, and in that brief gleam the drenched wretch on the side of the road could see a small sign behind the machine before it disappeared. The man was clearly taken aback - it read: "My other car is also a Porsche."
