一只狮子头吃完,姜山轻轻地呵了口气,满脸赞叹的神情。他拿起一张湿纸巾,擦了擦嘴,说道:“能够品尝到这样的美味,可以说不虚扬州此行了。徐小姐,我们今天都是沾了你的光吧?” 徐丽婕看着姜山,似笑非笑:“那你准备怎么谢我呢?” 姜山冲着众人抱了抱拳:“今天享了这样的口福,改天自然将回请各位,大家到时候都得赏光啊。” “好啊。”徐丽婕首先拍着手附和。 沈飞也露出憧憬的神情:“大内御厨的后代,手笔肯定不同反响啊,从今天开始,我可得时时惦记着。” “嗯。”徐叔沉稳地点点头,“姜先生有这样的心意,我们如果能一睹风采,不胜荣幸。” “那好,一言为定!”姜山笑呵呵地站起身来,“'名楼会'在即,徐老板父女又是久别重逢。我今天就不多打扰了,告辞。” 说完,他独自转身,悠然离去。 “一笑天”酒楼的后厨,素来是很多年轻人向往的地方。 能够进入“一笑天”酒楼的后厨,就意味着能有机会和淮扬顶尖的刀客同炉共事。对于那些年轻人来说,这无异于习武者进了少林寺一般,学艺的空间和成名的机会相较其它的地方要大了很多。 所以,真正能进入“一笑天”后厨的人都会被看作是业内的幸运儿,他们也非常珍惜这样的机会,每日里勤学苦练,恨不能长出四双眼睛,八对手臂来,好将每一位成名大厨的绝技统统收入囊中。 在这样的氛围下,“一笑天”的后厨实力自然也就不断得到充实,个别天分高的年轻人,甚至在不到三年的时间内便从“配菜工”升为了“头炉”大厨。 只有一个人例外,这个人便是沈飞。 十年前,沈飞是“一笑天”的菜头,凌永生刚刚来到“一笑天”,整天跟着沈飞,帮他拎菜篮。 十年后的今天,凌永生已是酒楼总厨,而沈飞,仍然是个菜头。 菜头就是负责买菜的人,所以沈飞的工作一般都是在上午就完成了。当后厨的刀客们开始忙碌的时候,沈飞便来到巷口,摆起小摊来,炸他的臭豆腐干。 沈飞看起来非常享受这样的生活,因为在别人眼里,他始终很快乐。 热锅里的油已经开始沸腾。 一双长长的筷子夹着臭豆腐干,一片一片地浸入了油锅中。伴着“嘶嘶啦啦”的轻微油爆声,豆腐干周围立刻泛起一片细小的油泡,原本灰白干瘪的豆腐干在这一过程中发泡胀起,色泽也变得金黄诱人。 沈飞有些得意地把已经炸好的豆腐干夹出油锅,同时扯开嗓子吆喝着:“油炸臭豆腐干,油炸臭豆腐干啰!” 沈飞的吆喝很大程度上属于一种自我欣赏,而并非出于某种商业的目的。因为他即使不吆喝,摊点前也早已排起了长长的队伍。这些人中有男有女,有老有少,有下了班的官员,也有衣着简朴的小贩,他们全都知道一个简单的事实:沈飞炸的臭豆腐干,是全扬州城味道最好的。 “沈飞炸的臭豆腐干”,就像徐叔做的清蒸狮子头一样,已经成为一个品牌。这个品牌虽然登不上大雅之堂,但每天却有更多的人喜欢它,并且能够享受到它。 沈飞因此而感到快乐。 一个背着书包的小朋友排到了队伍的最前面。 “叔叔,我要一块炸臭豆腐。”他闪着大眼睛,话语中充满稚气。 “要一块啊。”沈飞笑呵呵地弯下腰,“在这儿吃还是带走?” 小男孩想了想,认真地回答:“我要边走边吃。” “好叻。”沈飞拣起一块豆腐干,用剪刀在角上剪开一个小口,然后从口中浇进调味汁,用餐巾纸包住豆腐干的另一角,塞到男孩手中,“来,边走边吃。” 男孩一边把两毛钱的钢蹦递到沈飞手中,一边已经迫不及待地在豆腐干上咬了一口,香脆的豆腐干伴着鲜浓的汤汁进入了他的口中,那种对味蕾的美妙刺激让他露出了甜甜的笑容。 在离摊点不远的地方,徐丽婕正站在“一笑天”酒楼的门口,绕有兴趣地向这边张望着。沈飞的忙碌和食客们的热情让她觉得有些奇怪,因为在她闻起来,那油锅中飘出的分明是一股怪怪的臭味。 终于,徐丽婕还是按捺不住自己的好奇心,她捏着鼻子,来到了沈飞的摊点前。 “喂。”她招呼沈飞,因为鼻子不通气,声音多少显得有些怪异,“这东西好吃吗?怎么闻起来这么臭?” “呦,大小姐,你也来赏光啊。”沈飞笑呵呵地看着她,“这东西就是闻起来越臭,吃起来越香啊,怎么样,来点?” 摊点旁露天摆着几张小桌,小桌前坐着的食客们无不吃的酣畅淋漓。徐丽婕看看他们,犹豫了一下,然后点了点头。 徐丽婕也坐在了小桌前,没过多久,沈飞便把一碗炸臭豆腐端了上来。浸在汤汁中的豆腐块色泽金黄,外酥里嫩,经油炸后那股怪味已经弱了很多,反而散发着一种特殊的鲜香。 徐丽婕夹起一块臭豆腐放入口中,那种美妙的口感和奇特的酥香,比起上午的佳肴来,倒又是别有一番风味。 沈飞站在一旁,迫不及待地询问:“味道怎么样?” 徐丽婕伸出左手,竖起了大拇哥:“Good!” 沈飞“嘿嘿”一笑:“凡是吃过的,还没有不说好的。哎,你怎么一个人跑出来了,徐叔和小凌子呢?” “在后厨呢。”徐丽婕一边说一边继续吃着,“在为明天的'名楼会'做准备呢。” “嗯。”沈飞点点头,“小凌子又在练他那个'文思豆腐羹'了?”
