Chapter 50 Chapter Ten Avalokitesvara

The coachman, Xiaolongnu, Dakui, and Jackson followed closely behind and walked inside.The door of this first hall is wide open, and the inside of the hall will be brightly lit, like daytime. Everyone walked into the temple, looked up, everyone gasped, and saw that in the first temple, the statue of Avalokitesvara was enshrined. This Avalokitesvara is Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, one of the four great Bodhisattvas before the Buddha. With a dignified and kind appearance, he often holds a willow bottle in his hand, and saves the sufferings of the world with his infinite wisdom and supernatural powers.It is said in the world that when people encounter disasters, as long as they read its name, they will go to save them, so it is called Guanyin.

Shakyamuni Buddha said in the "Lotus Sutra": "If there are sentient beings with more desires than desires, if they often chant and respect Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, they will be free from desires. If they are full of anger, they will often chant and respect Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, and they will be free from anger. How foolish you are, if you always recite and respect Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, you will be free from ignorance." In the "Great Compassion Dharani Sutra", the Buddha even told the public: "This Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva has incredible power. He has been a Buddha for countless kalpas in the past. He has become a Buddha and is actually called the Tathagata. The power of great compassion and vows. For desire Initiate all bodhisattvas. All sentient beings are peaceful and mature, so they appear as bodhisattvas."
