菲律宾在爵士乐方面非常发达，舞厅的设备也甚豪华。仇奕森被接待在一个接近音乐台的座位，欣赏了两曲具有土风舞趣味的音乐。 跳舞在菲律宾甚为普遍，男女老幼都有着特别的爱好，年轻的人跳得较为疯狂就是了。 过了不久，只见闵凤姑和柯品聪两人嘻笑着趋进舞厅里来了。柯品聪醉态可掬，双手还捧着两瓶酒，见人就打招呼，好像交际颇广。 “我们需要大大地庆祝一番！”他叫嚷着。 仇奕森说：“赌得怎么样了？” 柯品聪手舞足蹈，又叫嚷着说：“你真是我的福星，不知道怎么搞的，只要你一到我就转败为胜，又赢钱了！”他一面击着掌，招呼侍者过来，说：“我要开香槟庆贺一番！” 闵凤姑瞪了仇奕森一眼，意思是请他不要把真相揭穿，就让柯品聪高兴一会儿，因为这位二姑爷是真的已经醉了。 “姨妹在这里，我不好意思招舞女作乐！仇叔叔，你是长辈，在我们的面前是无妨的！” 仇奕森大笑，说：“唉！我已经是老头子了，哪还有这种雅兴？” 不久，侍者已经用冰桶送过来一瓶香槟。柯品聪是“荷花大少”，喜欢出这种洋相。 “砰！”好像放炮一样。香喷喷的泡沫四溢，柯品聪却哈哈大笑，把泡沫洒得满舞池都是。 闵凤姑偷偷地向仇奕森说：“不要扫他的兴，否则他会请整个舞厅的客人吃酒！” “他不是已经快到山穷水尽的阶段了吗？败家还没有败够吗？”仇奕森问。 闵凤姑瞪眼，用脚踢了仇奕森一下，禁止他再说下去。是时，柯品聪已将香槟洒洒满了三只琉璃杯，举杯致敬说：“来，乾这一杯。祝我们今晚上的胜利！” 闵凤姑先干了杯，说：“这一只曲子是扭扭舞，我要请骚胡子跳舞！” 柯品聪纯是以酒徒的姿态出现，鼓掌叫好。 仇奕森却露出一副尴尬的形色，皱着眉宇说：“我这把年纪再跳扭扭舞的话，连骨头都要扭散了！” 闵凤姑却不管，一定要扯着仇奕森跳，柯品聪也怂恿着。仇奕森无奈，勉强下了舞池。 闵凤姑摆出了扭扭舞的姿态，边说：“我无非是想和你单独谈话罢了！” 仇奕森含笑说：“不管怎样，你对柯品聪的感情却是不坏的！” “这不过是同情心使然，柯品聪实在太可怜了，二姊的作为是任何人也受不了的！”闵凤姑解释说。 “银姑真的不安于室吗？”仇奕森有点不肯相信。 “由C岛回来，她一直就在忙着，把丈夫扔在一旁不管，你说她是在忙着些什么呢？”闵凤姑对她的二姊一往是不满的，在言语间毕露无遗。 “柯品聪已经发现了吗？”仇奕森又问。 “怎么会没发现呢？柯品聪是个可怜虫，也是一个重感情的人物，他深爱着银姑，不忍婚姻破裂！一直在忍受着戴绿头巾的耻辱……” “你说得过分了吧？” “事实就是如此。” 第一曲音乐完了，紧接着第二曲节奏更快的“扭扭舞”。舞池内的每一个人都像发了疯一样，双手一前一后摆动着，全身的力量贯注在腰和膝踝间，没命的扭，疯狂地扭。 闵凤姑的年纪轻，有活力，扭得开心，扭得起劲。仇奕森这把年纪，自己也感觉到有点不大好意思，勉强在凑和着。只见闵凤姑前躬后仰，左右闪动，忽高忽低的，仇奕森怎样也跟不上。 “银姑可有孩子么？”仇奕森藉谈话来掩饰自己的窘态。 “像这种的女人，哪会养得出孩子？”闵凤姑嗤笑。 “金姑有孩子吗？” “金姑有一对双胞胎，是女的，非常可爱，今年大概已经有三岁了……”闵凤姑忽的正下了神色，左顾右盼了一阵子，又说：“我可以告诉你一个秘密，金姑和秦文马婚后的感情不睦，最近更加的恶化，他们早分居了，可是为了双方的颜面，又为了免招老头儿伤心，他们在表面上勉强维持着，迟早有一天会忽然爆发的……” “你是闵三爷最得宠的女儿，应该替三爷多分心，排解两个姊姊的家庭纠纷才是！” 闵凤姑冷嗤了一声：“我对她们哪一个都瞧不上眼！对她们的事情，还是少理会为妙！” “唉，任何一个家庭斗争的程度，也不及你们闵家的这样严重！” “哼！骚胡子，你说对我们闵家的事情绝不过问，但是我看你关心的程度好像比任何人都深切呢！” “我不过随便问问罢了！” 好容易，这曲“扭扭舞”的音乐终了，仇奕森如解除了徒刑似地，擦着汗，回返了座位。 果然不出所料，柯品聪闲坐无聊，竟和邻座的几个混血儿阿飞搭上了讪，大少爷进舞厅，原就是撒钞票来的，吃喝玩乐，要弄至“无醉不归”。 他和那几个混血阿飞，你一杯来，我一杯去，实在已经喝得差不多了。除了刚开的一瓶香槟，连同带上来的两瓶洋酒，已喝得七七八八，剩下无几。 柯品聪还要闹酒呢！嚷着要再开香槟，他说话时的舌头都已经大了，嗓门也不听指挥。 “不许再闹酒了！”凤姑叱斥说。 “有仇叔叔在这里，为什么不让我喝个痛快？”柯品聪说。 “你不是在喝酒，而是在酗酒！”仇奕森说：“这样是不可以的！” “仇叔叔在责备我？……”柯品聪的心中似乎有着一股子的怨气无地发泄。 忽的，音乐又响起了，那是一曲“OB恰恰舞”。 闵凤姑忙扯着柯品聪说：“这是你最喜爱的音乐，我们跳这个舞如何？” “三姨妹，你真了不起……”柯品聪拉直了嗓子说：“我相信，天底下同情我的，就唯有你一个人了……” 闵凤姑把柯品聪强扯硬拉下了舞池，只见柯品聪醉态可掬，他和闵凤姑跳舞的形状也特别的亲热。 这不免使仇奕森暗起隐忧：闵凤姑是个情窦初开的女郎，假如说，她暗恋上她的二姊夫，那么闵家情势岂不是更乱了么？ 闵凤姑极力禁止柯品聪多说话，随便他爱怎样跳时就跟着他的舞步随和着。 本来，姊夫与小姨的亲热是无所谓的，但是闵家家庭内的情形却特别，非常简单的问题也会发展至不简单。 仇奕森为了这种隐忧而担心，自斟自饮，也喝了两杯酒。 一曲舞还未有完，柯品聪就拉着闵凤姑回返座位，他确实是醉了，连脚步也是飘浮着的。回到座位之后，立刻就枕伏到桌子上，很可能就会呕吐呢。 闵凤姑向仇奕森扮了一记鬼脸，说：“他每天均是如此的，可说是没有一天不醉至躺下为止！” “是因为银姑给他的刺激吗？” “当然是银姑的不对，但也只有柯品聪能够忍受得下去！”闵凤姑长叹了一声，一面伸手抚摸着柯品聪蓬乱的头发。 仇奕森笑着说：“假如现在柯品聪仍有知觉，知道他有着你这么一个小姨时，也应该感到满足了！” “骚胡子，你是话中带刺吗？”闵凤姑沉下了脸、半带着斥骂说。 “不！我是随便说说而已。”仇奕森连忙解释，他看了看手表，略加以思索，又说：“时间也已经差不多了，我们大可以把柯品聪送回他的房间去，我们还另外有事情需要办呢！” “你说得很含糊，我们应该去办什么样的事情呢？” “到时候你自然就会知道的！”仇奕森不再征求闵凤姑的同意，招侍者过来结了台帐，架起了柯品聪就走。 柯品聪在醉态模糊之中还吵闹着要喝酒。仇奕森没理他的岔，强行架进了电梯，上至旅馆部顶楼最“贵族化”的房间。把柯品聪安置停当之后。仇奕森向凤姑说：
