Chapter 4 2. The only survivor

A drop of water fell from the roof and was falling on the woman's forehead. It was so cold that it woke her up from the black dream. That dream was too long and terrifying. She dreamed that she was chased and killed by an unknown monster. The monster dismembered her body and threw the pieces of meat and bones everywhere. Looking at it with empty eyes. When the woman woke up, she only felt sore all over, and she found that she was tightly bound by hemp rope, and something unpleasant was stuffed in her mouth. She struggled a few times, and the rope became tighter and tighter on her body. She suddenly realized that reality was more terrifying than dreams.

There was an unpleasant smell everywhere, the stench was so stench that it almost made people sick, and water kept falling from the top of her head, and she found that the clothes on her body had been soaked in water. There was a puddle of dirty water under the body, and some kind of oil was floating on the surface of the water, which was sticky.Countless mung bean-sized flies lay directly on the grease, greedily enjoying the feast. She wanted to move away from the dirty water, but unexpectedly, the restraints on her body were much stronger than she thought, she could only barely twist her body, and more dirty water was splashed all over her, and the flies were buzzing climb up her body. She turned her head to the side in disgust, but it didn't matter, she saw more and more terrifying things.

There were several large barrels not far from her, which looked like gasoline barrels, and the lids of each barrel were removed. Flies were crawling in and out of them, and the dirty water was coming out of the bottom of the barrels. There are spots of rust stains on the wall of the barrel, and the embroidered stains have a strange green luster, which seems to be mixed with some unknown impurities. From a bucket, stretch out a hand. The woman thought she was wrong and blinked her eyes. That's right, that's a hand, a white hand with a bluish tint, the whole arm is in a half-curled state, the palm is facing the sky, the tips of the fingers have turned purple, and a worm crawled out from the gap between the fingers of that hand , with a swollen belly, and another maggot poking its head, how many of its compatriots are hidden under the flesh.

The woman felt her stomach churning. At first she thought it was a fake hand, but now she was sure it was a real human hand. It should be self-explanatory, then, what is in the barrel, with so many barrels throughout the house... The woman's heart tightened even more: this place is clearly a slaughterhouse. "Are you awake?" A rough voice suddenly sounded, and a man in a leather apron slowly stood up from the shadows, holding something in his hand. The woman wanted to pass out immediately after seeing what he was carrying in his hand—it was a knife, a meat cleaver with a thick back and a wide blade, the blade gleamed coldly, and there was a trace of blood that hadn't completely solidified on the tip of the knife.
