angels and devils 丹·布朗 404Words 2018-03-22
The security inspector carefully looked at the row of security monitoring screens in front of him. His boss poked his head over from behind him, and he held his breath.A minute passed. The commander's silence was expected, the security inspector thought to himself, after all, he is a meticulous person, and he would never issue random orders to the world's most elite security forces without careful consideration. So what was he thinking? They were contemplating some kind of metal can shown on the screen - the surrounding transparent metal can. That's easy enough, but the rest is tricky.

Inside the container, a small metal-like liquid drop seemed to be floating in mid-air under the action of some special force. The droplet flickers in and out of the mechanically blinking red light of a digital display. The numbers on the display are constantly decreasing, and the security inspector's hairs stand on end. "Could you turn down the contrast?" the Commander asked, startling the security inspector. He carries out orders. The image has softened a bit.The commander leaned forward, squinting his eyes, observing the words that just appeared at the bottom of the container.

The security inspector followed the commander's line of sight.Next to the electronic display, an acronym was faintly printed.Four capital letters gleamed in rhythmic flashes of light. "Stay still," the Commander said, "don't say anything, I'll take care of it."
