Dark Portal 亚伦·罗森伯格 1588Words 2018-03-12
Turalyon leaned out of the crack, blinking. "Here... is this... Draenor?" Their time travel allowed them to enter another world and changed the fate of being destroyed together with Draenor. This world is completely different from what they have known all their lives. The spells of Khadgar and the other mages shielded them from the shock as they made their way through the rift. And when everything quieted down, they returned from the same path, trying to find those comrades who might survive. But when Turalyon recognized what he saw, he trembled and was speechless. If Alleria hadn't pulled his hand, I'm afraid he was still blocking the way for others to come out at this moment.

"Yes. Only its remnants," Khadgar said.Turalyon recognized that behind them were the ruins of the crumbling Dark Portal, and in the distance ahead were Honor Hold and Hellfire Keep. The cracked red land is the same as before, but that sky——! The present sky is a mixture of various colors. The light is like colorful lightning bolts, across the sky.The sun had disappeared, and the sky was a deep red.But he could see the moon hanging high in the sky, which looked many times bigger than before. The second object is rose-red and lies closer to the horizon, while a third, smaller, bright blue object floats just above the rose-colored planet.Tentacle-like thin clouds drifted erratically in the sky.

Neither the color nor the hardness of the earth changed. But not far away, Turalyon saw a small piece of cracked earth—only it was more than a hundred yards above the ground!Although the clod was shaken from side to side under the influence of the strong wind which continued to blow and surround them, its general position remained unchanged.Other fragments are also suspended in all directions. "The damage done here has completely reversed everything we've ever known," Khadgar continued. "Gravity, space, and even time may no longer function normally." Khadgar's words were drowned out by a tearing sound below them.Turalyon grabbed him with one hand and Alleria with the other, pulling them both back instinctively.

"Back!" Turalyon yelled, though he wasn't sure if they would hear him as the land crumbled and the howling wind blew. "Stay away from the chasm!" Despite the noise, they could still see Turalyon. He pointed to the west, signaling for everyone to go to Honor Hold.In a panic, they all started running wildly without any organization. As Turalyon pulled Khadgar and Alleria apart, the ground beneath their feet began to crack, boulders and soil falling downward. They jumped as far as they could, and landed on the ground ahead just before the ridge collapsed. In the past, part of the Dark Portal was surrounded by mountains to the east, and beyond that was the vast ocean. But now, most of the mountains have disappeared, and what is even more astonishing is that the ocean has also disappeared. In its place now is the endless abyss, waiting to devour the fallen stones. It seems that the present continent of Draenor is suspended in an endless darkness illuminated by colorful lights.

"Sir," a soldier yelled. "Then... isn't that where the crack is?" "Yes," Turalyon said. "It used to be." The ridge they had traversed back and forth just now was on the ridge, and when the ground below broke, it fell with it, leaving only the ruins of the Dark Portal. There was silence. Sensing the growing desperation among them, Turalyon said, "Look over there." He pointed to a complex of buildings not far away, "Honor Hold is still strong. We built it to Make it our stronghold on Draenor. So, it will continue to fulfill that role."

He turned to face his soldiers. All of them looked extremely tired, with dusty faces and blood stains all over their bodies. "When we crossed, we knew that we might not be able to return. Holy Light, we expected death, but we did not die. The portal of darkness has been closed. We have completed our mission here. Now we What to do is entirely up to us. There must be other companions in this world. We need to find them and bring them back. We will explore around, make new allies, and continue to fight with the Horde, lest They will do something similar in the future. The Light is still with us. We have work to do. We will decide the future fate of this world."

Alleria walked up to him, her eyes sparkling. He held her hand tightly.Turalyon looked to Khadgar, and the archmage nodded, smiling at him in those still-young eyes. The paladin looked at his soldier again. They still looked worried, unsure. But at least, the despair and panic in their hearts were gone. We will decide the future fate of this world. "Come on," Turalyon said, pointing to Honor Hold. "It's time to go home."
