Well of Eternity 理查德·A·纳克 2780Words 2018-03-12
The demon wizard was dumbfounded, and his skin just slid off like this.He let out a beastly cry, and turned his eyes to Rhonin. This was the last movement of the demon wizard, and the demon's mouth continued to open because there was nothing to support his jawbone. At that moment, the fleshless body stood there—and then the skeleton left there was spread out on the ground, and finally disappeared under the boundless surging team of demon guards. Without a commander, some Burning Legion soldiers had no direction. The night elves approached further, and the demons in the front row could only retreat...

"We're going to beat 'em!" said a young officer impatiently to Ravencrest. The doomguard drove the hellbeast forward with whips.More Hellbeasts desperately passed through the defending night elves and rushed to the wizard. The two demons charged at the cavalry without hesitation, and the night elves screamed.A gap opened and the demon slipped through. "Forward!" Ravencrest called to his men, "don't let them cut our lines!" He and the rest of the cavalry rushed towards the giant intruding demon.Ravencrest cut off the tentacles of a hell beast himself, and then took the knife to chop off his head.A nightsaber fell on top of the demon soldier, tearing the demon to pieces with its long teeth.

The gap in the ranks slowly narrowed...and disappeared. The night elves' ranks were back in formation. Although they now have a solid front, the defensive night elves are still under pressure.Compared with the number of demons killed by the night elves, the number of reinforcements was almost twice as high. Rhonin cursed and cast another spell, unleashing deadly bolts of fire and lightning at them. His power grew, and he knew he would be even stronger with the Well of Eternity.Illidan was exhausted soon after trying his best to slay demons with any magic imaginable, and Rhonin was no better. If the power of the Well of Eternity could be used at will, the two of them would be able to cast fewer spells, but the effect would be more significant.

There were more screams as the night elf stepped back. The hellbeast tore the infantry apart. The doomguard jumped up in the commotion, then dove headlong into the night elves, flailing their weapons wildly. The demons started to spread all over the place, raining down on the defending night elves like the arrows the night elves had unleashed earlier. Another moon guard yelled as a hellbeast had slipped in.Four foot soldiers tried to cut off his tentacles and plunge the blade into its chest cavity, but it was too late for the wizard. Another attack from the shooter came up, but the demons immediately surrounded them in the rear. While many had reason to flee, a few stood, stunned.

Those dead archers seemed to have been pierced through the throat and chest by their own arrows. Rhonin searched and found that there was no eredar wizard at work.He cursed himself again that he couldn't appear in multiple places at the same time, and the current situation was not what he wanted to see. We are losing troops! They tried, but the soldiers needed the Moon Goddess to ward off the demons, and the Moon Guardians needed the energy of the well.Back at Black Rook Hold, Malfurion said he wished to deal with the spell shields the Highborne had placed there, but that was days ago.Rhonin could only assume that the young night elf Malfurion had failed in his efforts... or that he had died trying.

"The line is deformed again!" cried one of the elves. Rhonin had forgotten all about Malfurion, there was only war... war and Vereesa. This might be his last wordless farewell to her, and he looked again at the boundless army of demons, trying to cast another spell, though he knew it wasn't enough. But what else is here, what can one do against demons? "Priest, is there any change there?" Tyrande shook his head: "There is nothing. The body is alive, but the spirit is lax." The orc frowned: "Will he die?" "I don't know." Would it be better if he died? She really doesn't know. For three nights now, Tyrande had watched Malfurion's body, first in the Moon Shrine, then in a shabby room deep within the temple. The high priestesses sympathized with him, but they didn't know what to do for their friend.

"He may just sleep like this forever," one priest told her, "and his body will die from lack of nutrition." Tyrande tried to feed Malfurion, but his body was weak and unresponsive. She didn't dare to drip water down his throat for fear of choking him and suffocating him. Last night, Brox cautiously suggested that if they felt there was no hope, they might as well end Malfurion's torment as soon as possible. He was even willing to do it himself.Tyrande was horrified at the idea, but she knew that the orcs had given all their companions what they could. He cared about Malfurion.

They didn't know what dream he was having. What they already knew was floating around them, but somehow they just couldn't get in.Tyrande wondered what trouble Malfurion had had when he destroyed the talisman shield.Perhaps his spirit had died in this operation. The stress and pain of losing Malfurion was unprecedented for Tyrande.Even Illidan's dangerous mission never worried her so much.It is true that she was also worried about Illidan, but that worry was different from now. She put her hand on his cheek, and the priestess had thought more than once, Malfurion... come back to me.

But he still didn't wake up. Thick green fingers touched her arm tenderly.Tyrande looked into the anxious eyes of the orc.He was not ugly to her at the moment, just a soul that grieved with her. "Priest, you haven't slept, and you haven't left this room. This is not good. Go for a walk and breathe the fresh night air." "I can't live without him—" He ignored her words: "What are you going to do? There's nothing. He's just lying there. He'll be safe. He doesn't want you." Others looked at the orc and thought he was a savage creature, but Tyrande felt more and more that this savage body was only born in a primitive society. He understood the need of a living being and the danger of losing it.

Nor could she help Malfurion if she herself was weak or ill.She doesn't care too much about herself. She can only walk away. "Okay...but only for a few minutes." Brooks helped her to her feet. The young priestess found that her legs were weak and she could barely hold herself up.Her companion was right. If she still hopes to hold on for Malfurion, she needs to take heart. Accompanied by the orc, Tyrande walked through the temple to the gate. Before that, the hall outside was filled with terrified and bewildered elves, all seeking comfort from the servants of the moon god. She feared they would have to squeeze their way, but the crowd moved quickly to get away from Brox.He strode forward despite their arguments and pressure, but Tyrande felt embarrassed.Elune preaches respect among living beings, but night elves have little respect for other races.

The two of them stepped into the square.A fresh wind blew towards Tyrande, reminding her of her childhood. She always loves the wind, and for no reason, she opens her arms to embrace it. Tyrande and Brox stood there for a few minutes. After that, sadness hit the priestess again, and she thought about her childhood, including the time with Malfurion. In the end she apologized to the orc, insisting that it would be better to go back inside.Brooks just nodded, expressing his understanding, and followed behind. Before they could reach the temple steps, however, a Suramar city guard yelled at her.Tyrande hesitated, not sure if it was Brox who had come to her. But it was clear that the official had another mission in mind. "Sister, forgive me, I am Shadow Song." She recognized his face.He is only slightly older than her.His eyes were a little more slanted than usual for an elf, so there was always an element of suspicion in his expression, though he tried to be friendly and polite, as he was now. "What do you want me to do, Captain Shadowsong?" "I venture to take a moment of your time, I have a prisoner in need of help." At first Tyrande wanted to refuse, she was anxious to return to Malfurion, but her duty told her to stay. How could she turn down those unfortunates who needed her healing techniques? "OK." Captain Shadowsong squinted at the orcs following behind. "Is that thing following us? Could you please let him stand out in the square by himself, especially in such a chaotic time?" The priest shook his head reluctantly.Yingge can only take the two of them together.
