“什么方式？”不等号角问，灰尔就给了他答案，他大摇大摆地走到几个工人面前。那几个人马上大惊小怪地叫起来，然后七手八脚地按住灰尔，灰尔表现得极其温顺。 号角以为灰尔疯了，连忙躲得更隐蔽一些。没想到灰尔居然朝着他的方向对工人示意不止，马上有几个人跑过来发现了号角，然后号角顺利地被俘虏了。 “混蛋！你在干什么？”号角气急败坏地骂道。 他们被工人押着走进了屠宰场，灰尔说：“现在不是顺利进来了么。” 屠宰场里分为待宰间、屠宰间、急宰间、检疫室等许多部门。灰尔无法确定公主她们现在置身何处。他小声对号角说：“呆会儿，一看到我们的人，不对，我们的羊，你就跟我分别朝不同的方向跑开。” 号角点点头。 此刻灰尔最担心的是，老妈妈和公主她们已经遇难了。他的心情十分紧张。偌大的屠宰场在他看来，就像是一张吞噬生命的嘴。 此刻，公主和老妈妈已经经过了清洗和消毒等卫生措施，正在待宰间做最后的倒计时。每只羊都愁云惨雾，痛哭流涕。公主与老妈妈相互依靠着。双脚止不住地发抖。待宰间的大门上有一扇小窗。公主伸长脖子看着窗外。可惜这么小的窗子没可能让它们逃跑。突然公主的眼睛睁圆了，她看见了灰尔！灰尔和号角在两个工人的押送下在屠宰场的大院。 公主激动极了，她叫道：“灰尔大哥，灰尔大哥……” 灰尔发现了公主，他感到十分振奋，说：“号角，准备！” 号角点点头，出其不意地向左边逃走，工人大吃一惊，灰尔乘机向右边跑，工人大吃两惊。 “有两只羊逃跑了！抓住它们！”工人们叫道。 顿时现场里一片混乱。号角在公羊里算是佼佼者，工人一时抓不住他，灰尔就更不用说了，敏捷的身手耍得人们团团转，他趁乱跑到待宰间门口，用力撞击那扇门，大门纹丝不动，灰尔身体都痛了。 “妈妈，公主，我来救你们了！”灰尔大声说。 “莱欧，莱欧……”老妈妈听见了，老泪纵横。 “灰尔大哥！”里面的羊一阵激动。 “大家躲开点，我要破坏这门！”灰尔命令道。他四下看了看，看见一辆钢铁制的手推车，灰尔使劲把它向待宰间的大门推去。
