Chapter 6 chapter Five

Garrosh gulped the night air happily.Even though night had fallen, the air here was dry and warm, very different from the cold and damp air of Northrend. But this is his homeland now, not the Borean Tundra, nor Nagrand in Draenor. It's this barren land. The city was named after Orgrimmar? Doomhammer, and the land was named after Thrall's father, Durotan. He thought for a moment, his nostrils dilating angrily. And there is only a small stretch of coast that is constantly infested by false ghosts named after him. He stayed under Mannoroth's skull and armor for a moment, feeling that the restlessness in his heart had calmed down a little. He was indeed proud to see what his father had done. It's good to know he has a proud parentage, but Garrosh wants to make his own way, not always walk in his father's shadow.Gorehowl, now his, was slung across his back, and Garrosh reached for the blade that had slain a mighty old enemy of his people, his brown hands gripping the handle.

"Your father is exactly what the tribe needs. He will stand up when he is needed." A hoarse and deep female voice sounded from behind.Garrosh turned to see an older tauren. He didn't see clearly at first—because her fur was so dark that only the starlight in her determined eyes and the four white lines on her face were clearly visible. After his eyes adjusted to the dimness, Garrosh noticed that she was wearing traditional shamanic robes. "Thanks, uh..." He waited for her to introduce herself. And she laughed. "I am Magatha the elder of the Grimtotem clan," she said.

Grimtotem. He had heard the name. "It's interesting. You just mentioned the needs of the tribe, but your clan is the only tauren clan that refuses to officially join the tribe." She chuckled a few times, her hoarse voice sounded strangely pleasant. "The Grimtotems do what they want, and always have. Perhaps we haven't joined the Horde for a lack of good reason." Garrosh was a little unhappy. "What? Isn't that enough?" He pointed a thick brown finger toward the pit lord's skull and armor. "Isn't our war against the Burning Legion not enough? Is not even the Warsong Crusade enough to move the Grimtotem?"

She watched him firmly, unfazed by his irritation. "No," she said softly, "it doesn't move me. But those stories about you in Northrend...well, that's what heroes do. We Grimtotems watch and wait. We Know what is strength, savvy and honor. Garrosh? Hellscream, like your father, you are exactly what the Horde needs and will stand up when needed. When the Horde understands this too , you will be able to get the support of the Grimtotem." Garrosh wasn't quite sure what she was implying, but one thing was clear. She appreciated what she had heard earlier in the Bastion Hall, which meant she approved of something Garrosh was eager to see. That's fine.Maybe someone will eventually start to want to do something.

"Thank you, Elder. I appreciate what you have said now, and hope that soon I will be well-qualified for more than just words." His mind was already spinning, thinking about how to get the resources the Horde needed by bypassing the peaceful Thrall and the dorky Kane. The key to this strategy is to complete it within his own authority. Now is not the time to be cautious, it is time to act boldly. They will understand when he comes up with results. Kane and his entourage rose before dawn to pack, though the festivities were still going on and he, as the guest of honor, had been invited to participate in the whole process. He has already returned home. When Thrall gave the call to mobilize, the troops Cairne sent to Northrend were full of fierce fighters, and they proved themselves in battle. But the bloody battles day and night also made them exhausted.Originally a nomadic people, the tauren now have their cherished homeland of Mulgore.Today, they finally embarked on the final leg of their journey back to the rolling hills, glorious highlands, and loved ones who remained in their hometown.

They decided to set off on foot so that their comrades could walk together longer, and it didn't add much difficulty. It was just dawn, and the warriors of the other tribes were still sleeping or holding their heads in their hands to endure the pain of hangovers after the all-night revelry. The tauren had left Durotar and entered the Barrens.Cairne has sent Perris Thunderhoof to inform Bane of their return.Peris is one of an elite group of scouts and messengers known as the Wayfarers, who are trusted and directly commanded by Kane to deliver the most important messages and messages.Even Thrall wasn't entirely aware of what was going on between Kane and the Wayfarers. This was not a life-threatening task, but Perris's eyes lit up with joy when he heard the task, and he left the team quickly as usual.

The evening glow casts a golden radiance on the plains of Mulgore.Peris came back as they walked slowly near the fork leading to Camp Narache and Bloodhoof Village, slowing down beside Kane. "I have notified Bain as you requested." Perris said, "He assured you that everything will be ready." "Very well," Kane agreed. "Let all the village shops be aware that some travelers are passing by. I don't want to see anyone go hungry tonight." "I think you'll find that Bane is all... thoughtful." Kane turned to Perris curiously. At this time, a horn sounded, and several kodo beasts walked slowly towards them.Kane's dim old eyes couldn't tell who was sitting on the backs of these giants, but his ears heard the children's cheers. They jumped off the kodo beasts in disorder, laughing and shouting and throwing bunches of flowers and plants on the triumphant heroes.

"Welcome back, Father," said Baine Bloodhoof.Kane turned toward the familiar voice, smiling and squinting to make out the figure of his son perched on the back of a huge kodo. The old cow burst into tears. This is the way one should be welcomed when one comes home. There are happy cries of children and families, and the blessings of the natural world.Easier, better... more like the tauren way. "Well done, my boy," Kane said, trying to control the emotion in his voice. "well done." Bane, though as calm and collected as his father, was delighted to see Kane back at this moment. He jumped down easily and walked towards his father. They held arms enthusiastically and took a few steps aside, a little away from the other happily welcoming families.

"There are more people." Bain said with a smile when he saw several soldiers walking to the southwest. Those lucky ones are already home. "The way home will be full of people waiting to meet you." "It's very welcome," Kane said. "How are they all?" "It will be better when the veterans return," Bane said. "How about the celebration in Orgrimmar?" "That's what it is," Cain said. "Standard orcish way. Too many weapons, eating, drinking, shouting, etc. They didn't ignore our people, though." Bane nodded. "Thall would never do that."

Kane stretched his neck to look around, lowered his voice and continued. "Thrall is wise and generous. He would never do that. I have a mission to return this time, a mission that only we can complete for the Horde." He told Baine quickly about Hamuul's proposal.Bain listened intently, his ears trembling slightly, and he nodded from time to time. "It's the right thing to do," he said. "I'm a warrior, but I also want to tell you that our people have had enough of war. If Hamuul thinks dialogue will solve the problem, then I agree. Father , I fully support you."

This isn't the first time Kane sees it as a blessing that Mother Earth and his mate Tamara have given him such an exceptional son.Although Tamara passed away many years ago and entered the ranks of the pioneers, her shadow can still be seen in their son.To his father, Bane was a great relief. He has the spirituality, perception and generosity of his mother, and the calmness and tenacity of his father-Kane has to admit the latter point.Cairne had never worried about leaving Mulgore to his son.He wondered how Thrall could bear to live without a spouse and children.By Mother Earth, even Grom had a son.Now that the war is over, maybe Thrall has to start thinking about his spouse and heir. "How was the good shaman doing in my absence?" "Okay." Baine replied. The person they are talking about is Magatha. "I kept an eye on her. It was supposed to be a good chance for trouble, but nothing happened." Kane grunted. "Maybe it still happened. Young Garrosh? Hellscream is a dumbass, and I saw her slip out and talk to him." "I've heard he's a great fighter," Bane said slowly, "but..." he smiled, "still a dumbass." Bloodhoof father and son looked at each other and smiled.Kane reached out and patted Baine's shoulder, then squeezed it hard.Bane took his father's hand. Not far ahead, Thunder Bluff stands magnificently in the sunset. "Welcome back, Father. Welcome back."
