Chapter 3 overture

Six years ago, I stood in front of the ruins of the Temple of the Sea at Cape Sounion, overlooking the Aegean Sea.About a century and a half ago, Hans the baker came to that strange island in the Atlantic Ocean.Exactly two hundred years ago, Freud sailed from Mexico to Spain, but was shipwrecked on the way. I have to go back so far to understand why my mother ran away from home to Athens... Honestly, I'd rather think about other things.However, I have to record everything while my childlike innocence is still young. Right now, I'm sitting in the living room window of a house on the Norwegian island of Hisøy, watching the leaves fall.The leaves flew down from the air and spread on the street like a soft carpet.Buckeyes hopped over the garden fence and scattered all over the ground.A little girl stepped on them and walked past my window.
