Chapter 7 Sinahi Terrace

The most visually stunning scene can be seen from the Naval Hospital when the ULM light aircraft rumbles across the Opa coast of Belk from a low altitude at a height of one hundred meters. The building of the Naval Hospital is magnificent and beautifully carved, with tall brown stone walls, in the style of northern French architecture. Its location is between Berk City and the vast sea water of the English Channel, as if stranded on the beach. On the pediment of its most beautiful wall, the words "City of Paris" are written, as on the walls of the public baths and the primary schools of Paris. This is a hospital set up for sick children during the Second Empire. Because the climate in Paris was not suitable for recuperation at that time, the hospital was built here, but its power and responsibility belonged to the city of Paris.

Although the location of this hospital is near the Pas-de-Calais, to the Social Welfare Agency we seem to be on the Seine-et-Marne in Paris. The whole building is really like a maze, with many endless passages running through each other. It is common to see the patients of "Menard" get lost in "Sorrell", and they keep repeating the names of these doctors, because the main buildings of the hospital are named after these famous surgeons to name. These lost people are often panic-stricken and have the helpless eyes of a child, as if someone has just forcibly taken him away from his mother. They wobbled on crutches and yelled, "I'm lost!" Like the guy who pushed my wheelchair said, I belonged to Sorel. In fact, I still know where I am, but the people who help me push the wheelchair are often confused, especially those who push me out for the first time.If they strayed and groped their way, I made no sign of it, preferring to let them push.Because this is a good time to explore some hidden corners, to see the new faces and smell the smells wafting from the kitchen. So, I just came to the lighthouse inadvertently. At that time, I had just come out of a coma, the first few times someone pushed me around in a wheelchair, and when we took the elevator, got lost, got off the wrong floor, and turned around, suddenly saw the lighthouse: towering, Solid, football jersey-like stripes in red and white are reassuring.I immediately let this beacon of brotherhood guard me, not only for sailors, but also for the sick--these victims who are stranded on the lonely shallows.

Later, I kept in touch with the lighthouse, and I often asked people to push me to the "Sinahi Terrace" to see it.The Sinahi Terrace, an open-air terrace in Sorell, is rarely visited, but for me it is a fundamental anchor point of the hospital's geography. This spacious south-facing terrace has an infinite view and exudes a charming poetry that is as varied as a movie set.The outskirts of Berk look as though they were a foil next to a model train.Below the dunes, there are a few wooden houses that feel like a ghost city in the American West.Overlooking the sea, I can see the foam of the spray is shining white, like a halo reflected from a special light source.

I could spend a whole day at Sinahi Terrace again and again. Here I am the greatest director of all time.Taking a corner of the city, I reshot a close-up shot of Orson Welles' film Sense of Evil.On the beach, I took another long shot of John Ford's Stagecoach. On the Long Sea, I created a storm for smugglers in Fritz Lang's "Moonlight Fleet".Or I melt myself into the countryside, and my connection to the world is only a friendly hand caressing my stiff fingers.I'm Pierre, the madman, with a blue face and a long coil of dynamite coiled around my head. The desire to strike a match floated across my heart like a cloud. It's nightfall, it's time for the last train to Paris, it's time to go back to my room.I look forward to winter.Dress warmly all over, and you can wander into the night, watching the sun go down, the lights of the lighthouse take over, and shine the light of hope in all directions.
