Chapter 6 Life

I designed a long staircase.This is a step that goes up one level after three hundred and sixty-five days in a year.I sit on the top of the sixty-eighth step of the steps.Next came the wife, two sons, two daughters and their spouses, and grandchildren. These dozen or so people were scattered and arranged in various places on the steps. On the second step from the bottom, two babies born last year were strapped to prevent it from falling.Both are boys.They can't crawl or talk yet.Yet, despite all this, the two babies stand out and are full of life.Their little bodies are full of energy to climb dozens of steps from now on, and at the same time, they are brewing the possibility that no matter what they can make it come true.They haven't been polluted by the secular life, just out of instinct, they are looking for their mothers and want to breastfeed, and they don't have any other desires.They don't know who to envy or hate, and at the same time they don't know how to please people, and they have nothing to do with fame and money.They smiled now and then, but it was as if the gods were telling them to practice, just an innocent smile.

Human beings grow up from infancy.Suddenly this idea came to me.It's not easy for these two babies to crawl to where I'm sitting now.I think, if you look up from the second step where the baby is, the distance must be infinitely far away.The sons and daughters scattered between the 30th and 40th steps have passed puberty at some point and are about to enter their prime.Of course, each of them must have experienced the joys, sorrows, sorrows and joys of life that I can hardly know.Unfortunately, I can't empathize with their experiences.No matter what the problem is, they can only solve it by themselves.I think they have to go through the pain they have to go through, the grief they have to go through, like their father did.Because this kind of experience that must be experienced and handled by oneself is the so-called life.
