Chapter 78 Raising wolves to retaliate is beyond regret

——Hou Jing attacked the Liang Dynasty In the midst of the defeat, Hou Jing was at a loss as to whether to advance or retreat. It is estimated that in a few more days, this lame buddy should hang himself from a tree with his belt.Heaven never perishes Cao.In the Liang Dynasty, Xiao Fan, the king of Poyang, was appointed as the governor of Nanyu Prefecture in the early days.In the Liang Dynasty, there was a local garrison school, Liu Shenmao, who had always had a bad relationship with Wei An, the governor of Jianzhou (acting governor). Hearing that Hou Jing had fled here, he greeted him with his hooves and palms up, and advised Hou Jing to take advantage of the time to occupy Shouyang. Today's Shouxian County, Anhui Province) thought it was a distant map.

Wei An didn't want to accept Hou Jing at first, so Liu Shenmao sent his old friend Xu Siyu to persuade and scare him, saying: "Hou Jing is a guest of the imperial court, if you don't accept him, this imperial Henan king was killed outside the city, you can't afford it." Let's go!" Wei An was frightened and rushed out of the city to meet Hou Jing. Hou Jing was straightforward, and when he entered the city, he sent his own people to guard the four gates, and took down Wei An.Hou Jing deceived the strong city of Shouyang without spending a single soldier. After Liang Ting received the news of Hou Jing's defeat, he didn't know his life and death at first, and "would feel worried".Prince Zhan Shi He Jingrong said to the prince alone: "Hou Jingru's death is the blessing of the court. This kind of repeated chaos will eventually overthrow the country." Soon, Xu Jingrong said to the scholar Wu Zi: "Once upon a time, the ancestor of the Western Jin Dynasty, Shang Xuxuan, sent the Central Plains He was killed by Hu Jie. Now the crown prince likes to talk about Laozhuang and Zhuangzi, and the talk is chic, and the south of the Yangtze River may be disturbed by Ronghu again!"

Soon, Hou Jing sent people to report the failure, and hypocritically wanted to "demote himself as a knight", which was "not allowed by the imperial edict" of the Liang Dynasty.Hou Jing also sent people to ask for military supplies, and the court did not miss it.Emperor Wu of Liang also "pityed" Hou Jingxin's defeat, and couldn't bear to transfer him to be an official elsewhere, so he was granted the title of shepherd of Nanyu Prefecture, and changed the title of Poyang King Xiao Fan to the governor of Hezhou.Minister Xiao Jie and others remonstrated extremely, but Xiao Yan refused to listen.

Emperor Wu of Liang treated Hou Jing so "kindly", besides being old and fatuous and trusting his courtiers, he may also have his own reasons: Hou Jing, a defeated general, has few soldiers and a strange place, so it seems that he really can't cause any trouble. Moreover, Funa Hou Jing can also set a "model" for the northerners to surrender and strive for more surrenders. However, man is not as good as heaven is, Xiao Liang caused Xiao Qiang, domestic conflicts were fierce, Emperor Wu of Liang knew nothing about it, and then the dominoes fell, chain reactions, fifty years of prosperity in Jiangzuo, just like this, was destroyed in the hands of a cripple of the Jie tribe.

After the Eastern Wei Dynasty Gao Cheng regained the old land, he sent envoys many times, expressing his intention to restore the old "friendly" relationship with the Liang Dynasty. "The imperial court did not promise".Therefore, Gao Cheng found Xiao Yuanming, Xiao Yan's nephew, who had been eating and drinking well since the prisoners were taken care of, and said that if the two countries restore the old relationship, Xiao Yuanming and other captured people, as well as Hou Jing's family, will definitely be sent back to the Liang Dynasty.Of course Xiao Yuanming helped, and immediately wrote a letter to his uncle Liang Wudi, conveying Gao Cheng's intentions, and told him that he had been receiving preferential treatment in the Eastern Wei Dynasty.

Emperor Wu of Liang was convinced, and he burst into tears, and hurriedly recruited courtiers to discuss. The old man is really a woman's benevolence, such a nephew who is not up to date, lost more than one hundred thousand soldiers, and died with more than a crime, yet he still has the face to write letters.Zhu Yi and others expressed their desire to reconcile with the Eastern Wei Dynasty. Only Si Nongqing Fu Qi expressed his dissent: "Gao Cheng was victorious, so why ask for peace? This is obviously a divorce. If instead of making peace, Hou After Jing heard about it, he must have become suspicious, and he would definitely cause trouble." Emperor Liang Wu was eager to save his nephew, so of course he didn't listen to Fu Qi's words.

When Hou Jing was in Shouyang, he happened to intercept the envoys from the Liang Dynasty who returned to the Eastern Wei Dynasty, and learned all the truth.Hou Jing wrote to Emperor Wu of Liang, strongly opposed to making peace with the Eastern Wei Dynasty, and stated "sincerely and earnestly" that Gao Cheng's internal and external coercion, accidental victory, was not enough to make peace with him, "to hurt the hearts of all people".At the same time, Hou Jing wrote a letter to Zhu Yi, the favorite minister of Emperor Wu of Liang, and sent three hundred taels of gold as "filial piety".Zhu Yi "received gold but did not pass enlightenment".

Not long after, Gao Huan was buried, and Emperor Wu of Liang sent envoys to offer sacrifices.Hou Jing hurriedly played and said: "Your Majesty is now in peace with the Gao family, where will the envoys (referring to himself) be treated?" Emperor Wu of Liang replied perfunctorily, saying: "I am the Lord of Wancheng, how can I lose my trust in One thing!" Comforting Hou Jingyu thinking about it, he will definitely not plot and harm him. Hou Jingtian is a political animal by nature, so of course he won't be at ease.He forged a letter from the Eastern Wei Dynasty and sent someone to pretend to be an envoy of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, expressing that the Eastern Wei Dynasty agreed to exchange Xiao Yuanming for Hou Jing.Emperor Wu of Liang didn't know what it was, but was eager to save his nephew, so he decided to agree to the request. It was Fu Qi who came out of the squad again, admonishing: "Hou Jing returned to righteousness with poverty, and it is ominous to abandon him. Besides, how can he be a brave general who has fought a hundred battles?"

Zhu Yi and others echoed Emperor Wu of Liang: "Hou Jing is the defeated general, and he can be captured immediately by sending an envoy to announce the edict." Emperor Wu of Liang sent someone to write back to the "Eastern Wei Dynasty", saying that "King Zhenyang (Xiao Yuanming) arrives, and Hou Jingxi returns".Hou Jing got this letter from the fake Eastern Wei "envoys" he sent, and was very angry. He said to the left and right: "I knew that old man Xiao Yan was a black heart!" Gear up and prepare to rebel. He not only conscripted the townsmen under his command as soldiers, but also plundered the children of the common people everywhere, and distributed them to the strong men under his command as slaves and concubines. At the same time, Hou Jing kept asking the central government for military rations, military uniforms, and blacksmiths who forged weapons, "the court never refused."His subordinate officials fled back to Jiankang out of fear of misfortune, and reported the news that Hou Jing was preparing to rebel to Emperor Wu of Liang, but Liang Ting did not express or prepare anything.

Hou Jing, who had made an inch of progress, was even more greedy, and asked to marry the daughter of the king and the Xie family as his wife.Emperor Wu of Liang replied, tactfully rejecting Hou Jing's request, saying: "The king and Xie Gaomen are not the consort of the emperor. You can consider the daughters of Zhu Yi and Zhang Wan." Hou Jingde was resentful, and said loudly: "When I succeed, all the children of Wu Jing will be assigned to soldiers as servants!" Hou Jing is physically and mentally disabled, and he belongs to the kind of psychologically deformed and perverted person with a strong desire for revenge.Back then, when Murong Shaozong's army defeated Hou Jing and fled wildly halfway, a man laughed and sang in a small town: "He said the land was not flat, but I said the land has pits! There is a big lame donkey below, and the lights flicker as he walks away." !" Hou Jing, regardless of the pursuers, stormed the small town with his left and right, and only left after killing the people who made fun of him. His narrow-mindedness is evident.

Xiao Fan, the king of Poyang, challenged the imperial court to prove that Hou Jing wanted to rebel with conclusive evidence, and repeatedly appealed, but Zhu Yi pushed back all of them: "Why doesn't the king of Poyang allow the country to accommodate Hou Jing as a guest?" Afterwards, Zhu Yi suppressed the reports several times. Hou Jing also secretly sent people to rebel with Yang Yaren, the Liang general who was stationed in Huai, and Yang Yaren arrested his envoy and escorted him to Jiankang with a letter. "The envoy was ordered to go to Jiankang Prison, and Russia sent him away."It can be seen that Xiao Yan is extremely stupid, and I really don't know what he was thinking at that time. At this point, Hou Jing completely let go, and turned into a rascal, and played to Emperor Wu of Liang, asking Liang Ting to kill Yang Yaren. At the same time, he accused Liang Ting of making peace with the Eastern Wei Dynasty, which made him lose face, and threatened that if he did not give him a piece of land in Jiangxi to garrison troops, he would lead armored cavalry to attack Minyue, which would make the court look bad. After receiving such a rebellious book, Hou Jing was completely rebellious. According to reason, Emperor Wu of Liang should be "furious".It is estimated that the old man had read too many Buddhist scriptures, and instead made people feel sorry for Hou Jing: "A poor family invites five or ten guests, which can still make everyone happy. I only have one guest, and if there are complaints, it is also my loss. At the same time, a large mission was sent, full of brocade NFDAD money cloth, to comfort Hou Jing. Hou Jing has been looking for his internal counterpart in the Liang Dynasty after the rebellion. After looking around, he finally settled on Xiao Zhengde, the king of Linhe. Xiao Zhengde is the third son of Xiao Hong, the sixth younger brother of Xiao Yan.At first, Xiao Yan had no children, so he raised Xiao Zhengde as his own son. After Xiao Yan became emperor, Xiao Zhengde felt that he could be the crown prince. It didn't take long for Xiao Yan to give birth to his own son. He made Xiao Tong (Prince Zhaoming) the crown prince and made Xiao Zhengde the Marquis of Xifeng.Under Xiao Zhengde's resentment, he actually betrayed the country and voted for the Eastern Wei Dynasty in the sixth year of ordinary life.Because the Wei people treated him very poorly, the boy fled back to the Liang Dynasty the next year. For such a traitor, because he was his own nephew, Xiao Yan "forgave him with tears" and named him King Linhe.Even so, Xiao Zhengde still had unreasonable thoughts, "Nursing the dead in shade, storing rice and goods, fortunately the country has changed."After he received Hou Jing's letter, he was overjoyed when he heard that he wanted to establish himself as emperor. He immediately agreed and urged Hou Jing to send it quickly: "Now I am inside, and the public is outside. Why don't you worry about it! It's about time. It's about time." In September of the third year of Taiqing, Emperor Wu of Liang, Hou Jing officially rebelled in Shouyang. At that time, Zhu Yi and others "all used treachery, arrogance, arrogance, and greed to cover up the master and exercise power, which was a disease of the people of the time", so Hou Jing used the pretext of killing Zhu Yi and others to raise troops. Emperor Wu of Liang laughed when he heard Hou Jing raised his troops, and said, "What big deal can this lame man do? Let me beat him with a whip!" The governor of Nanyang, Xiao Fan, was the governor of the South Road; the governor of North Xuzhou, Xiao Zhengbiao, was the governor of the North Road; the governor of Sizhou, Liu Zhongli, was the governor of the West Road; Crusade against Hou Jing. Hearing that the army of the Liang Dynasty was frequently mobilized, Hou Jing asked Wang Wei for advice.Wang Wei said: "If the king of Shaoling gathers a large army to attack Shouyang, he will be trapped. It is better to abandon Huainan, decide to go east, and lead Qingqi to attack Jiankang. Besides, the world is not settled.” Hou Jing listened to the persuasion and left his brother-in-law Wang Xiangui to guard Shouyang. He pretended to go out to hunt in the city and lead the army out, "people don't realize it".Then, he attacked east and west, descending to Qiaocheng (now Chuxian County, Anhui) and down to Liyang (now Hexian County, Anhui). After Liyang Taishou Zhuang Tie surrendered, he offered a poisonous plan to Hou Jing: "The country has been in peace for a long time, and people don't practice war. I heard that the king raises troops, and the inside and outside are shocked. It is advisable to take advantage of this situation to drive Jiankang quickly. You can achieve great success without bloodshed." If the imperial court is well prepared, the inside and outside are peaceful, and thousands of soldiers are sent to quarry directly, even if the king has millions of fine armor, he will not be able to cross the river." Zhuang Tie is also a bastard, who has been eating Liang Lu for many years , Surrender is also surrendered, and even made this strategy of sealing the throat with a sword, killing the old master. Zhuang Tie's "worries", Yang Kan, the old general Yang Kan, the capital official of the Liang Dynasty, had been on guard for a long time. He suggested that Emperor Wu of Liang send two thousand troops to quarry urgently, and urged Xiao Lun, king of Shaoling, to attack Shouyang urgently, so that Hou Jing could not enter. Before, retreat to the lair".In this way, "the mob will naturally disintegrate." It was Zhu Yi who came out to resist this discussion: "Hou Jing must have no intention of crossing the river." Of course Emperor Wu listened to Zhu Yi's words. Yang Kan sighed: "Today we are defeated!" At such a crucial point, not only did they not send troops to rush to quarry, but the Liang Ting issued an edict to send Xiao Zhengde, the king of Linhe, as General Pingbei, to supervise all the military forces in the capital, and to guard Danyang County on the Yangtze River.Xiao Zhengde turned against him and prepared dozens of huge ships, in the name of crossing the reeds, to force Hou Jing's army to cross the river. Before Hou Jing crossed the river, he was afraid that there would be Liang soldiers for the quarrying. It happened that the Liang general who changed the defense for the quarrying was late, and the original guard Wang Zhi had led his troops away. Then he immediately crossed the Hengjiang River and occupied the quarrying. At this time, Hou Jing had only a few horses and 8,000 soldiers. When Jiankang heard that Hou Jing had crossed the river, he was terrified both inside and outside, and declared martial law.Prince Xiao Gang also put on military uniforms and personally commanded the military. The sad thing is that Liang Ting still ordered the traitor Xiao Zhengde to garrison Zhuquemen, and the two sons of Prince Xiao Gang were divided into several key gates in Jiankang. As for Hou Jing, things went well in Gushu and Cihu (Dangtu, Anhui). Soon, he went to Banqiao outside Jiankang City, and sent his staff officer Xu Siyu to see Emperor Wu of Liang. When Emperor Wu summoned him, Xu Siyu claimed that he had something important to report to the emperor, and asked to retreat.Gao Shanbao from Zhongshushe reminded loudly: "Xu Siyu comes from the bandit camp, and his love is unpredictable. How can we let him meet the emperor alone!" At this time, Zhu Yi still wanted to be a good old man, so he scolded Gao Shanbao and said, "How can someone like Xu Siyu be an assassin!" Xu Siyu didn't give Zhu Yi any face. He took out Hou Jing's memorandum and said loudly: "Hou Jing hates Zhu Yi and others to cover up the power of the lord, begging to bring armor into the court, the Qing emperor side!" Zhu Yi was ashamed and afraid. In Jiankang City, the chaos was abnormal. "Public and private chaos, no order."The sergeants were unrestrained, rushing into the arsenal to get their armor without any discipline. Fortunately, veteran Yang Kan, calm and composed, beheaded several people before stabilizing the situation. At that time, since the establishment of the Liang Dynasty, there had been no incidents in the territory for more than 40 years. "Gongqing was in power and the scholar-bureaucrats in Luli rarely had soldiers, and the thieves were in a hurry, and the public and private were horrified. The old generals were exhausted, and the young Xu Jin went out." Therefore, in the entire Jiankang City, only a veteran, Yang Kan, really knows how to deploy soldiers and fight. "The (sheep) speaks courageously and is very strong, and the prince is deeply committed to it." Yang Kan, whose name is Zu Xin, was born in Taishan (now Tai'an, Shandong). His grandfather and father had to serve in the Northern Wei Dynasty because the Lord General Xue An surrendered to Wei in the Liu Song Dynasty, but he often advised his children to return to Zhengshuo in the Southern Dynasty in private. When Yang Kan served as the prefect of Taishan in the Northern Wei Dynasty, he led his army to rebel against Wei and return to Liang, and fought hard with the pursuers of Gao Huan and others. As far as the border, there are still more than 10,000 people belonging to them.Because he knew that the families of the soldiers were in the north, Yang Kan shed tears and said goodbye to everyone, which can be described as affectionate. Hou Jing's army marched to the south of Zhuquezhen (Zhuquezhen is a famous large pontoon bridge on the Qinhuai River).Prince Xiao Gang guarded the Xuanyang Gate with Xiao Zhengde, and guarded the Zhuque Gate with Yu Xin, a scholar of the East Palace.Seeing Hou Jing's army approaching, Prince Xiao Gang ordered Yu Xin to demolish the pontoon bridge in order to slow down Hou Jing's attack from the front.Xiao Zhengde was afraid that Hou Jing's army would not be able to cross the river, so he tried to dissuade the prince, saying: "If the people see the pontoon bridge being demolished, they will run away in fright. It's better to wait for the enemy army to see what happens." . Hou Jing's army rushed to kill them, and Yu Xin hurriedly ordered his soldiers to dismantle the boats supporting the pontoon bridge. As soon as a supporting boat was destroyed, the sergeants saw Hou Jing's bandit army wearing iron masks attacking them all. The Liang soldiers who hadn't passed the battle line all retreated and hid behind the Suzaku Gate. At such a critical moment, the great talent Yu Xin still had leisure time to eat sugar cane in the barracks, and heard the noise outside, he never expected that the enemy would kill him suddenly. This justice gnawed at the sugarcane husk, and suddenly several arrows flew into the camp. "A flying arrow hit the gatepost, and (Yu) trusted the sugarcane, and it fell in response to the string."Talented Yu jumped up with a cry, abandoned the army and fled. Shen Zimu, Xiao Zhengde's best friend, was diligent, and immediately found a boat, tinkling and repairing it, and then firmly supported the Zhuque truss, leading Hou Jing's bandit army to rush across the river.Xiao Zhengde opened the Xuanyang Gate and led the crowd to welcome Hou Jing on the Zhanghou Bridge. When the two met, they had a tacit understanding, and immediately bowed to each other, and then immediately joined forces, and conquered the outer city of Jiankang in one fell swoop.Xifeng Gong Xiao Dachun, who was stationed in Stone City, abandoned the city and ran to Jingkou, and Xie Xi and Yuan Zhen, who were stationed in Baixia, also abandoned the city and fled. Hou Jing's soldiers surrounded the city of Tai, with black flags all over the place, attacking from all directions, shaking heaven and earth. The rebels threw more torches, trying to burn several city gates to attack.Yang Kan and others led the crowd to fight to the death. He personally stabbed the bandit soldiers out from the doorway, and put out the fire with a bucket of water, only then did Taicheng escape temporarily. Seeing that Taicheng could not be taken down for a while, Hou Jing sent soldiers to set fire to it, and all the buildings in the outer city such as Taifu Palace, Huang stable, Shilin Museum and Taifu Temple were burned down.At the same time, in order to "boost" morale, Hou Jing rewarded hundreds of female officials from the East Palace to the soldiers and let them take turns to rape for fun. After the rest, Sergeant Hou Jing used a wooden donkey cart to attack the city, and the defenders threw boulders at the top of the city to drive back the bandits. This plan failed, so Hou Jing made a wooden donkey with a pointed top, which was less stressed and could not be broken by stones.Yang Kan sent people to hold more pheasant tail torches, soak them in sesame oil, and throw them on the wooden donkey from the city. The bandit soldiers hidden in the wooden donkey were all burned to ashes.Hou Jing also built tall chariots to climb the city, each more than ten feet high, and sent soldiers to carry crossbow arrows on it, trying to shoot and kill the guards at the top of the city with their heights. After many battles, Yang Kan saw the tall chariots approaching the city, and said: "The chariots are high and the trenches are empty, and they will fall when they are close to the city. You can lie down and watch them." Sure enough, these chariots did not move far, and they all collapsed. Many bandit soldiers with bows and arrows fell to death. Knowing that Taicheng could not be captured for a while, Hou Jing built a long siege to cut off the traffic between Taicheng and the outside world. Zhu Yi and others saw Hou Jing's small setback, and he was so powerful that he wanted to send troops to attack.Yang Kan objected: "If there are few people sent out today, it will not be enough to defeat the enemy, and it will only frustrate one's spirit; if there are many people sent out, once they lose, the gates and bridges will be small, and it will inevitably lead to a large number of casualties when the troops retreat." The rest went out to fight.Sadly, before the confrontation, Liang Bing turned his head and ran away. The bridge was crowded and fell into the water, drowning seven or eight hundred people. Hou Jing knew that Yang Kan was an important general who commanded the defense of the city. He happened to catch his son Yang Dan, so he sent someone to take him to the bottom of the city and called Yang Kan to come to the city to see him.Yang Kan shouted at the top of the city: "I will pay my respects to the lord, and I still hate my inadequacy. I don't care about my son. I wish I could kill him early!" Yang Dan was engaged in "heart-to-heart warfare" under the city.Standing on the top of the city, Yang Kan looked at his son and said bitterly: "I thought you were dead long ago, why are you still alive!" After speaking, he drew his bow and shot him.The bandit soldiers were at a loss, and hurriedly retreated with the tied Yangdan.Hou Jing, the thief leader, also lamented that Yang Kan was loyal and did not kill the sheep boy. Zhuang Tie, a traitor from the Liang Dynasty who had previously proposed to persuade Hou Jing to "speed up the prosperity", saw that the situation was not good, and was afraid that Hou Jing would fail, so he lied about returning to Liyang to welcome his mother, and drove to Liyang with dozens of people around him to deceive Hou Jingliu Two local guards said that Hou Jing had been killed. This move is so effective that the two thieves will hastily abandon Liyang and go to Shouyang.Zhuang Tie didn't dare to guard when he entered the city, so he carried his mother to Xunyang. In troubled times, seeing that the situation is not good, these insidious villains immediately look for opportunities to save their lives, and on the contrary, they can always escape disasters and turn them into blessings. Hou Jingwei couldn't leave the city, and was anxious to find a cover for psychological support. Therefore, in December 548 AD, he pushed Xiao Zhengde to the throne of God and changed Yuan Zhengping. After Xiao Zhengde proclaimed himself emperor, he made his eldest son Xiao Jianli the crown prince, married his flowery daughter to Hou Jing as a concubine, and rewarded the bandit army with all the gold and silver treasures of the family.Although Xiao Jianli was honored as the "Emperor Prince", he died with a group of thieves while looting property by the floating bridge. Soon, Hou Jing attacked Dongfu, killed Liang Dynasty guard Dongpu Hou Xiaotui, beheaded more than 3,000 Liang Dynasty soldiers, and moved their corpses into piles, piled them outside Taicheng, and threatened the defenders: "If you don't surrender soon, you will be killed." That's right!" When Hou Jing first arrived in Jiankang, in order to buy people's hearts, he ordered strict orders and strictly prohibited soldiers from invading. After repeated attacks, Hou Jing was afraid that the soldiers would not want to fight and would be defeated for a while, so Hou Jing let the soldiers plunder the gold and silver children around the city.As the food was exhausted soon, the bandits and soldiers were robbing food everywhere, and the people around Jiankang had no food or clothing, and the tragedy of cannibalism occurred, and most of them died of starvation. In his impatience, Hou Jing set up earth mountains in the east and west of Taicheng City to drive out the scholars and people, regardless of high or low, to work hard with burdens of soil.In order to speed up the progress, the thieves and soldiers were driven down with swords and guns, and the old, weak and tired were all slashed, "killing to fill the mountains, crying and mourning". The guards and residents in the city also faced each other and built earth mountains. Except for the prince, the princes, officials and common people all carried earth and rocks and piled up mountains. The two sides fought day and night. It rained heavily, the earth and hills in the city collapsed, and the bandit army almost succeeded in attacking the city. Fortunately, Yang Kan led the army to throw a torch and cut off his way, and once again protected the city of Taitai. Hou Jing is indeed a quick-witted villain. He issued an order that all soldiers and civilians of the Liang Dynasty who surrendered as slaves will be exempted from being good citizens.Zhu Yi had a slave who ran away, Hou Jing immediately made him the third division of Yitong, and rewarded him with all Zhu Yi's family property in Jiankang.Riding on a good horse and dressed in brocade robes, this slave went to the city to preach and scolded Zhu Yi: "Old Zhu Yi, you have served the emperor for fifty years before you got the position of leader of the No. 1 middle school. Yitong!" The power of role models is infinite.Within three days, thousands of slaves escaped from Taicheng to seek refuge with Hou Jing. "(Hou) Jing all caressed generously to accompany the army, everyone was grateful, and died for him."Hit the master, divide the land, and suddenly turn over and become the master. How can you not die in allegiance to Hou Jing's new regime? At this time, Xiao Yi, the governor of Jingzhou in the Liang Dynasty and the seventh son of Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty, King Xiao Yi of Xiangdong, heard the news that Jiankangtai City was besieged. Order them to lead their troops to serve the king.At the same time, Duke Xiao Daxin of Dangyang, governor of Jiangzhou in Liang Dynasty, and Wang Xiaoke of Nanping, governor of Yingzhou, all sent troops to help. Knowing that the clan of the Liang Dynasty had sent troops here one after another, under the advice of Wang Wei and others, Hou Jing shot many "persuasion letters" into the city with arrows, many of which really revealed the "scars" of the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang : Since Liang was nearly a year old, he has used his power to exploit his power and stripped the people for his lust.If it is not the case, the public and others try to observe: today's national pool garden, prince's mansion, monks and nuns' temple pagoda...and the reigning officials, Ji Jiang's hundred families, thousands of servants, no farming or weaving, rich clothes and jade food.If you don't take away the people, where do you get them... Now the city is counting on the help from all directions, I (Hou Jing claims to be) watching the princes and generals, with the ambition of the whole body, who can try their best to die and compete with me for victory... For the Xiao family clan, I really don't know what kind of genetics caused so many fathers and sons to kill each other.Xiao Yan himself is not a violent father. His nephew Xiao Zhengde rebelled against Liang and fled to Wei. After returning, Xiao Yanwei just cried and reprimanded him.As for the sons, Xiao Lun is just ignorant and ignorant, and is not considered a bad person; Xiao Yi waits and sees success or failure, with ulterior motives; They are all "sit and watch", the only purpose is to wait for the enemy to kill their flesh and blood relatives, and then they will respect themselves. After searching all the descendants of the Xiao family, only Xiao Gang, the crown prince of Emperor Jian Wen, was a man of complete loyalty and filial piety, and he would never betray the king or his father until his death.Later generations analyzed the disease of "disloyalty and injustice" of Xiao Liang's family, and most of them believed that it was caused by Xiao Yan's negligence in teaching, the so-called "benevolence and betrayal".All the Pianpian children of the Xiao family, "all have a reputation for famous articles", and all of them have higher IQs than normal people, but because they "have learned readers, the obscene words of the palace style; and their research, the heresy of the Buddha".Therefore, the moral education of loyalty, filial piety, benevolence and righteousness is very deficient, which has caused the evil consequences of the rapid death of the family and the country. At this point, Hou Jing sent envoys to the Eastern Wei Dynasty again. He praised the Emperor of the Eastern Wei Dynasty and the Gao family in a nasty way, saying that he was fighting for the Eastern Wei Dynasty and wanted the Gao brothers to return to his family.Xiao Yan is easy to deceive, but all the sons of the Gao family are good people, and they don't even pay attention to books and newspapers. At this point, a very dramatic event happened. Chen Xin, the son of White Horse General Chen Qingzhi, was captured by Hou Jing and imprisoned in Fan Taobang's camp under Hou Jing.Chen Xin has a good eloquence, and impresses Fan Taobang with his loyalty, and persuades him to attack and kill Hou Jing's general Song Zixian and others, and go to the city to surrender to the Liang.Fan Tao sticks to his plan and secretly sends Chen Xin into the city overnight. Emperor Wu of Liang was overjoyed. He engraved a silver coupon to give Fan Taobang, and promised to make him the king of Henan.Zhu Yi and the others agreed (he has nothing to disagree with what the emperor said), but Prince Xiao Gang hesitated, fearing that Fan Taobang would be a fraudulent surrender. At the critical moment, Fan Taobang sent another person to say: "I will lead my relatives and 500 people to surrender immediately. When we arrive at the city, we will all take off our armor and beg the imperial court to open the city to accommodate us. After the relief, we will destroy Hou Jing." Hearing this, Prince Xiao Gang was even more skeptical and kept shaking his head because he was in a hurry. The old treacherous official Zhu Yi was really sober at this moment, and cried loudly, "The great event of Huangliang Sheji is gone!" Now or never.Someone under Fan Taobang informed Hou Jing, and Hou Jing immediately killed Fan Taobang.Chen Xin didn't know that Fan Tao was dead, and went out of the city to meet him, but was caught by Hou Jing and lost his life. Xiao Lun, the king of Shaoling who was originally ordered to attack Hou Jing, heard that Hou Jing had crossed the quarry and entered the city of Taitai. When Hou Jing heard the news, he hurriedly transferred his troops to Jiangcheng (now north of Jurong, Jiangsu Province) to meet him.Xiao Lun and others headed towards Zhongshan, avoided Hou Jingjun, and camped on Zhongshan.Hou Jing was terrified, and hurriedly gathered the treasures and beauties looted earlier in Stone City, ready to escape by boat at any time.In the first battle between the two sides, Hou Jing was defeated. However, Xiao Lun did not seize the opportunity and faced Hou Jing without attacking.Hou Jing pretended to retreat, Liang Chao Annan Hou Xiao Jun thought he had an opportunity, and hurriedly led the warriors to pursue, but Hou Jing suddenly stopped and counterattacked, Xiao Jun was defeated, and Zhao Bochao, the "general defeated general" of Liang Chao, turned his head and ran away without rescue.Hou Jing took advantage of the victory to pursue, the Liang army was defeated, and many clans and generals were captured. Xiao Lun only had less than a thousand soldiers left, and fled in a hurry. That night, Xiao Si, the eldest son of Poyang King Xiao Fan of the Liang Dynasty, and two other reinforcements arrived and camped in Caizhou.Upon seeing this, Hou Jing drove all the residents of Nan'an to Jiangbei, "burned their shops and houses, and swept away all the ground."A few days later, Xiao Yi, king of eastern Hunan, sent his son Xiao Fang to help, and ordered Jingling prefect Wang Sengbian to set off from Hanchuan with 10,000 boatmen, carrying grain to the east. The most unfortunate thing is that Yang Kan, who served as the real commander-in-chief of the city defense in the Liang Dynasty, died of illness in Taicheng due to overwork. He was only fifty-four years old when he died.Yang Kan is extremely brave. When he was young, he held a bow with more than ten stones. He was able to raise the big stones and strike each other, breaking them all to pieces.Such a military commander is actually good at rhythm, and made two songs "Plucking Lotus" and "Ouge", which are new and touching. However, General Yang is extravagant by nature. On the day of peace, every day, the house is full of guests, the wine bottles are not empty, the clothes are fine and the food is rich, and there are banquets every day.At the same time, Yang Kan was also "generous in nature and full of energy". His subordinates caught fire because of drunkenness and burned more than 70 of his treasures on large ships. Yang Kan heard about it and didn't care. The person who caused the trouble ran away in fear of trouble, but Yang Kanzhao didn't ask, and treated him as before. It's a pity that the handsome man died without his ambition being fulfilled. Liang Dynasty reinforcements from all over the country arrived one after another.Wei Can, governor of Hengzhou, led 5,000 elite soldiers, and together with Xiao Daxin, Duke of Dangyang, governor of Jiangzhou, rushed to Nanzhou; Li Xiaoqin, the fierce general, Chen Wenche, the prefect of Nanling, and Yang Yaren, the former governor of Sizhou, joined forces and stationed in Xinlin.Under Wei Can's suggestion, everyone promoted Liu Zhongli as the governor, and commanded the reinforcements from all walks of life. At the beginning of the third year of the Taiqing period of Emperor Wu of Liang, Liu Zhongli moved the base camp from Xinting to Daheng. Due to the heavy fog, Wei Can's army lost its way. As soon as it arrived at Qingtang, it was attacked by Hou Jing.At that time, Liu Zhongli was eating. Hearing the news, he put on chopsticks and put on his armor. He led more than a hundred soldiers to rescue his eldest cousin. More than a thousand people drowned. The most thrilling scene was that Liu Zhongli stabbed Hou Jing's neck a few inches away with the long scorpion in Liu Zhongli's hand. Zhi Boren rushed forward and slashed Liu Zhongli's shoulder with a knife. The horse started up, and General Liu fell into the mud.Hundreds of thieves and soldiers gathered around, all raising their baskets to stab them.It happened that Liang Jiang arrived, and Liu Zhongli was spared.Since then, both Hou Jing and Liu Zhongli were afraid of beating the wolf with a stick. Hou Jing never dared to go to the south bank, and Liu Zhongli never said anything about going to war.Especially Liu Zhongli, it seemed that the knife was not cut on his shoulder, but on his guts. Since then, the former general of Yingwei, who has been fighting all over the world, seems to have completely changed into a shy bastard. Xiao Lun, the king of Shaoling who was defeated, also collected his soldiers and returned at this time. He joined forces with Xiao Dalian, Xiao Zaicheng and other clans, stationed in the south of Dazheng, and still promoted Liu Zhongli as the governor. General Yang Kan had just died, and Zhu Yi, the head of civil servants, also died of fear at the age of sixty-seven.The old villain has been prosperous and rich for more than thirty years, but he is also good at ending up at home.Although everyone complained about Zhu Yi, Emperor Wu of Liang mourned very much, and gave him a gift from Shangshu Youpushe.Zhu Yi escaped the catastrophe alive, and all his descendants died tragically in the massacre of the city in the future. The soldiers and civilians of the Liang Dynasty in Taicheng had never known that several reinforcements from outside were regrouping, and only then did they learn the news, "the whole city clamored", cheering loudly. However, everyone was too happy. Xiao Si, the eldest son of Poyang King Xiao Fan, Yongan Hou Xiaoque and Zhuang Tie, the sons of Shaoling King Xiao Lun (this bastard first gave Hou Jing a bad idea, then ran away and returned to the government army), Yang Yaren, Li Qianshi, Fan Wenjiao, and Liu Zhongli's younger brother Liu Jingli all led their troops across the Huai River, stormed the front gate of Dongfu, and set fire to the fence erected by Hou Jing's bandit army. The bandit army retreated. Two brave generals, Li Qianshi and Fan Wenjiao, led 5,000 sharp soldiers to take advantage of the victory and advance alone, attacking in depth, invincible. But they overlooked one thing, Hou Jing (including almost all the generals of the Northern Dynasty), the best way to play is to defeat first and then win. Well, anyway, they took aim at the weakness of the Southern soldiers who "have the courage to take advantage of the victory and are timid to fight". The thief ambushed Song Zixian's soldiers and horses, and suddenly broke out halfway, defeating the Liang army. Fan Wenjiao died in battle. The official moved and escaped with his life, and the five thousand Liang soldiers were basically made dumplings by Hou Jing's bandit army. After this defeat, the reinforcements outside Jiankang City were separated from each other and scattered.Chaos World Venerable General.Liu Zhongli was just a governor of the state. After he was promoted to be the governor, he only fought a battle to save his cousin Wei Can when he first arrived, and almost stabbed Hou Jing to death. After being stabbed in the shoulder, the governor never fought a battle in person. He only knew that he drank wine and ate meat in the camp every day, and "looked arrogant and scorned the generals".Xiao Lun, the king of Shaoling, came to the door every day with a whip and reported on time, but General Liu was often delayed. As a result, the teeth of Xiao Lun, Xiao Dalian and others were itchy with hatred. At the same time, Lincheng Gong Xiao Dalian and Yongan Hou Xiao did not get along. The armies are suspicious of each other, and there is no fighting spirit. When these "official troops" first arrived in Jiankang, the common people helped the old and the young to welcome them. Unexpectedly, the younger soldiers had just crossed the Huai River, and they all plundered. ".Without the three major disciplines and eight points of attention, losing popular support will definitely end the game. The internal and external stalemate continued until March, and the soldiers and civilians in Taicheng became increasingly desperate. When the war first broke out, everyone was thinking about grain storage, and the rice stockpile amounted to more than 400,000 hu, which was ridiculous. They also "collected 50 trillion yuan of money and silk from various prefectures and gathered them in Deyang Hall", which is very important. Firewood, salt, etc., but nothing. After being trapped for a long time, the necessities were quickly depleted, and the people in Taicheng could only demolish all Shang Shusheng, and use precious beams to chop firewood for fire. All kinds of mats were removed, and hay was chopped up to feed the horses. The fodder ran out and the horses could only be fed with rice. The soldiers worked hard and had no food to eat. They could only cook armor, burn rat carcasses, and catch birds to fill their stomachs. After searching and searching, someone found a piece of dry moss on the flat ground behind the imperial dining room that tasted salty, so they dug up the root and broke it into small pieces to distribute to the soldiers as a substitute for salt.In the end, soldiers slaughtered horses among Taiwan provinces inside and outside the Forbidden Palace for food, mixed with dead human flesh, "whoever eats will get sick". The soldiers and civilians in Taicheng are like this, and Hou Jing's life is not easy. Not to mention that the army rations were exhausted, and they looted and looted everywhere, but nothing was found. At the same time, when he heard that King Qin of Jingzhou was about to arrive, Hou Jing was even more worried.Adviser Wang Wei gave him an idea: "There is rice in the east city, which can be supported for a year. Liang Jun blocked the road to get food. We can pretend to seek peace, take the opportunity to rest soldiers and horses, repair equipment, wait for the enemy to slack off, and attack suddenly." Hou Jing was in a dilemma, thinking that he had deceived Liang Tingjun and his ministers again and again, and now he was asking for peace, and the other party was not mentally retarded, so he would definitely not agree. But the matter has come to this point, a dead horse is a living horse doctor, so I have to try it anyway. When Hou Jingqiu and his envoys came to see him, the old man of Emperor Wu of Liang was furious: "It's better to die than make peace!" Prince Xiao Gang "pleased" and said: "Hou Jing has been besieged for a long time, and the reinforcements will fight each other instead of fighting. It is better to temporarily allow them to make peace, and it will be a later plan." Emperor Liang Wu thought for a long time, and after a long time, he sighed and said: "You can figure it out, don't make fun of it for thousands of years!" The prince Xiao Gang was also so hungry that he was desperate to die. Before Fan Taobang really surrendered, he firmly doubted and refused to accept it.Now that Hou Jing pretended to ask for peace, he agreed without hesitation. The fall of the Liang Dynasty made the brains of these high-IQ emperors and grandsons full of porridge. Unexpectedly by Hou Jing, Liang Ting not only agreed to sue for peace, but also ordered the prince's son Xiao Dakuan (look at the name, he is also a big money) to enter Hou Jingying's camp as a servant as a pledge. "Re-advance", and issued an edict to make Hou Jing, the murderer who besieged the city, the prime minister, the king of Henan, and "cut the four prefectures of Jiangxi to Hou Jing".In order to solemnize the matter, the two sides also set up an altar oath outside the Xihua Gate. After the peace talks were over, Hou Jing's army had no intention of withdrawing at all, the long siege remained the same, and the bandit soldiers took the time to rest their armor and staff and relax their muscles and bones.Liang Ting blamed Hou Jing for a while, saying that "the siege cannot be withdrawn without a boat", and then saying that "I am afraid that the southern army will chase after it", and sent back Xiao Daqian, demanding that the king of Xuancheng be replaced as a hostage to cover the bandit army. leave. At this time, Xiao Huili, the king of Nankang, Xiao Tui, the Marquis of Xiangtan, and Xiao Yu, the son of the Marquis of Xichang, came to help with an army of 30,000, and they were stationed in Mawangzhou.Hou Jing was afraid that the Liang army would attack suddenly from Baixia, so he wrote a letter to ask this Liang army to return to the south bank, "otherwise, I will hinder the minister from Jijiang".Fearing that they would be fooled, Prince Xiao Gang actually agreed and ordered Xiao Huili and others to move the army from Baixia to Jiangtanyuan. Hou Jing has been playing the game of "to tease you", and he is really addicted to it.He also sent someone to inform Prince Xiao Gang that his old nest in Shouyang had been occupied by the Eastern Wei Dynasty, and he asked Liang Ting to give him Qiaozhou and Guangling, and said that he would cross the river from Jingkou. "The prince will agree with you", so forthright that even Hou Jing felt embarrassed. In the end, there was really no reason not to withdraw. Hou Jing said: "Yong'an Hou Xiaoque and Zhige General Zhao Wei scolded me, saying, 'The Son of Heaven will make peace with you, and we will eventually destroy you', if The emperor recalled the two of them, and we immediately lead the army to rescue the siege." So far, people with a little bit of two brain cells will think that Hou Jing is messing around.Unexpectedly, such an absurd "request" was actually agreed by Liang Ting. Emperor Wu of Liang ordered Xiao Que and Zhao Wei to enter the city, and awarded Xiao Que the governor of Guangzhou and Zhao Wei the prefect of Xuyi.In order to ensure that Xiao Que would not "provoke" Hou Jing again, Emperor Wu of Liang sent Zhang Wan, Minister of the Ministry of Officials, out of the city to call Xiao Que into the camp in person. "(Xiao) is really tired of Qi Gu's resignation, if he does not enter, the superior (Emperor Wu) will not allow it." There is no way, Xiao Que let Zhao Wei enter the city first, and he wanted to take the opportunity to go south to Jingzhou to vote for Xiao Yi.Xiao Lun, king of Shaoling, had been at war with Hou Jing for a long time, but at this time he called his second son Xiao Que into his account and "crying and persuading" him to join the court.
