Chapter 72 Meng De is better than Dong Zhuo

——Er Zhurong, gravedigger of the Northern Wei Dynasty The Northern Wei Dynasty was originally a big northern country with strong national power and control over millions of people. After Emperor Xiaowen moved his capital to Luoyang, he fully Sinicized. On the one hand, this move promoted the integration of the Chinese nation; Elegant and extravagant. The trend of martial arts faded rapidly, and the customs of sitting and talking in the Southern Dynasties suddenly invaded. Immediately, heroes turned into well-dressed scholars. If there is a conservative lord with a longer lifespan and gentleness, the fate of the dynasty may be longer. However, the emperors of the Wei Dynasty did not live forever. They often died of illness at the age of 20 or 30, or were murdered at the age of 30 or 40, or were poisoned by their mothers at the age of 10 or 20.After the death of Emperor Xiaowen, his son Emperor Xuanwu reigned for seventeen years and died of illness at the age of thirty-three; Emperor Xuanwu's son Emperor Xiaoming ascended the throne at the age of six and reigned for thirteen years. At the age of nineteen, he was poisoned by his biological mother, Queen Mother Hu.The Empress Dowager Hu was in charge of the government, lewd and self-indulgent, building temples by sycophants, favoring the Buddha at home, extravagant property outside, taking everything from the people and using them like sand, causing resentment from above and resentment from below, and people living in dire straits. At that time, there were no external worries. Neither the Rouran in the north nor the Liang Dynasty in the south had large-scale wars against Wei. Instead, the people in the country rebelled, and thieves flocked. Gently push it with his hand, and immediately form a crushing situation.

Don't ask where the hero came from.In the situation where heroes are everywhere and wolves are everywhere, Er Zhurong appeared on the stage. Tribal chiefs make meritorious deeds in troubled times Er Zhurong, courtesy name Tianbao, was born in Xiurong in the north of Wei State.Erzhurong's ancestors have always lived in Erzhuchuan, so they took the place of residence as their surname. For several generations, the Erzhu family has been the chief of the tribe, belonging to the Qihu species (a branch of the Jie tribe).Er Zhurong's grandfather was named Er Zhu Daiqin. He followed Taiwu Emperor Tuoba Tao on expeditions several times, made great achievements, and was named General Liyi.Erzhu Daiqin once hunted in the mountains with the people of the tribe. The tribe shot a tiger and shot him in the thigh by mistake. The Erzhu tribe was still in the habit of a slavery society at that time, and the slaves even shot their masters with arrows, and they would surely die according to common sense.Erzhu Daiqin pulled out the arrow, but he didn't even question the shooter. He said to the left and right: "This is a mistaken shot. How can I bear to blame others." The people in his tribe were very moved when they heard the news, and became more loyal. to him.The old man was kind-hearted and kind-hearted, and died peacefully at the age of ninety-one.

Erzhurong's father was named Erzhu Xinxing, a hereditary chief. In his generation, the wealth is even more abundant, with countless cattle, sheep, camels and horses, and the valley is used as the measurement, rather than just the head.Every time there was a war in the imperial court, Erzhu Xinxing sent out people, money and food. Emperor Xiaowen was very happy and worshiped as General You and Doctor Guanglu. After moving the capital to Luoyang, he was specially allowed to be the capital in winter and return to the tribe in summer.Every time he entered the Beijing court meeting, the princes and nobles would send a lot of treasures to each other. Erzhu Xinxing also gave him a famous horse as a gift. He was very popular, and he was also named a regular servant of Sanqi, general Pingbei, and the chief of the first leader of Xiurong. The beautiful faces of the north and the south are all under the command of the Erzhu family. When Suzong Xiaoming Emperor, Erzhu Xinxing begged to pass the chieftainship to his son Er Zhurong, who retired honorably, and died a few years later at the age of seventy-four.

At the first reading, I imagined that the domineering Er Zhurong must have the same appearance as An Lushan, a fat man with a belly as big as a wheel, bearded face, ugly and dirty. After reading "Northern History" and "Wei Shu" and other historical books carefully, I realized that Er Zhurong was "clean and beautiful, young and quick-witted." He turned out to be a fair-skinned, handsome-looking man who had been smart since he was a child. When he grew up, Er Zhurong liked to shoot and hunt. Every time he gathered the people to hunt, he would do it in an army formation, with serious orders, and no one would dare to offend, just like a real march to fight a war.Er Zhurong once traveled to Qilian Lake with Er Zhu Xinxing, when suddenly there was the sound of flute and drum among the clouds in the sky.Erzhu Xinxing said to Er Zhurong: "I heard from the elders of the tribe that anyone who hears this voice can become a minister. I am old now, so it should be fulfilled by you. Work hard."

After Er Zhurong came to the throne, it happened to be the Zhengguang period of Suzong Xiaoming Emperor. Empress Dowager Hu always took charge of the government, and soldiers rose from all directions, and the world was in chaos.Er Zhurong recruited volunteers and gave him clothes and horses. First, he followed Li Chong and the Rouran Khan Anahuan who invaded Wei territory to fight. Then, he was ordered to suppress Nan Xiurong Wanzi Qizhen's rebellion, put an end to the uprising of Xiurong County beggar Moyu, and was named General Zhige and General Pingbei; If Bu Ruo rebelled, they were all put down by Er Zhurong, and he was granted the title of Founding Marquis of Anping County with meritorious service, and a thousand households in the township.

When the Northern Wei Dynasty was in turmoil, he broke Dendrobium and ruled Luoyang in Shenjing, and expelled Fei Yetou to Hexi.Soon, the Northern Wei Dynasty felt that there were not many people who could fight like this, so they named him General Wuwei, and soon added envoys, general Anbei, and governor Hengshuo to discuss the captives. Hundreds of households. During the Southern Expedition and the Northern War, Er Zhurong, who had no more than 10,000 troops, gradually understood the weakness of the Wei Dynasty, and realized that the hundreds of thousands or millions of imperial troops and the rebellious mob were vulnerable. When he moved to Sizhou, the governor Wei Qingbin hated and feared Er Zhurong, and closed the city gates to prevent Er Zhurong from entering the city.Er Zhurong was furious, attacked Sizhou, appointed his clan uncle Zhu Yusheng as the governor, and imprisoned Wei Qingbin, the governor of the Wei Dynasty, in his own territory in Xiurong County. If this happened in Taiping, it would be a serious crime of rebellion. But at that time, there were rebellions everywhere in Wei territory, and Erzhu Rong's army was so powerful that the Wei Dynasty did not dare to question him, and he was given the title of General Zhenbei.

When the news of Xianyu Xiuli's rebellion came, Er Zhurong asked to lead his troops eastward to discuss it.The imperial court was overjoyed, and named him General Zhengdong, the military governor of the six prefectures of Bing, Si, Fen, Guang, Heng, and Yun.When the army of Ge Rong, a rebellious Xianbei from the Wei Dynasty, was in full swing, Er Zhurong was afraid that Ge Rong would force Yecheng to the south, and asked to send 3,000 troops to reinforce Xiangzhou, but Suzong refused. Then, he made a request to send troops to guard Fukou to prevent Shandong thieves from fleeing westward, but the imperial court headed by Queen Mother Hu refused.Er Zhurong was furious and recruited more soldiers to defend Mayi in the north and Jingxing in the east, as if he had become a powerful warlord.

Emperor Suzong Xiaoming had a stalemate with his mother, Empress Dowager Hu, and privately ordered Erzhu Rong to march into Luoyang.Er Zhurong was overjoyed and raised his troops immediately.Walking halfway, I heard that Emperor Xiaoming had passed away (at the age of nineteen, he was poisoned to death by Queen Mother Hu).Er Zhurong, who was in full swing, was furious when he heard the news.He protested against the imperial court and accused: Today, everyone in the world hastily said the same thing, saying that the emperor of Daxing, the poisonous poison caused disaster. The ministers and others listened to the litigation outside, and traced it internally. On the twenty-fifth day of the last month, the holy body was healthy, and on the twenty-sixth day it suddenly rose.Just wait and see, I am really confused...Fang Xuanjun was among the babies, and on the day he was placed in the breast of the doctor, he made traitors stand up for the court, and the thieves and ministers violated discipline. The eye beats the bird, the ear steals the clock. ...

Erzhu Rongqin soldiers surrounded the crowd and pointed at the capital to kill them.At the same time, he sent his nephew Zhu Tianguang and other cronies to meet Changle Wang Yuan Ziyou closely, and established Yuan Ziyou as emperor in the first year of Wu Qin, as Emperor Jingzong Xiaozhuang.Emperor Zhuang appointed Erzhu Rong as envoy Chijie, attendant, governor of Chinese and foreign military forces, general, Kaifu, concurrent minister order, leading general, leading left and right, king of Taiyuan, and 20,000 households in the city. Empress Dowager Hu sent Li Shengui, a handsome boy, to lead the army to resist. Before the battle was fought, Li Shengui left the army and ran away.Er Zhurong's army entered the capital, and the Empress Dowager Hu wanted to defend herself when she saw Er Zhurong. The little emperor was thrown into the Yellow River and drowned.

Emperor Yee's self-respect sweeps Yunei While supporting Yuan Ziyou as emperor, Er Zhurong took Ziyou's elder brother Yuan Zishao of Pengcheng and his younger brother Bacheng Gongzi Zhengdu to Heyin, made Yuan Zishao the Supreme King, and Yuan Zizheng For Shiping Wang. After getting rid of Empress Dowager Hu and Young Emperor, Er Zhurong's confidant Fei Mu persuaded him, "Your subordinates have no more than 10,000 people, and now you are approaching the capital. The minister will not obey you in secret. If you don't punish and replace the court officials with your own people, I'm afraid that one day you will take a step away from the court, and there will be troubles inside, and disaster will happen." Er Zhurong thought What Fei Mu said was absolutely true.

He then asked another confidant, Murong Shaozong: "Luoyang is prosperous, and their arrogance and extravagance have become vulgar. I want to kill all the officials at the time when they welcome the new emperor. What do you think?" Murong Shao is a sensible person. He persuaded Er Zhurong: "The Empress Dowager Hu is licentious and out of order, and the treacherous ministers are in power, and the world is boiling. That's why you took the opportunity to raise righteous troops to attack the Qing court. If you kill him, I'm afraid you will lose the hope of the world." Er Zhurong didn't listen. He asked Emperor Zhuang to follow the west of the river to Heyin, guide all the officials to the northwest of the palace, and tell everyone that they could not ask for leave because they wanted to sacrifice to heaven. After all the officials gathered, Er Zhurong picked up a high platform to look around, immediately went up, and loudly reprimanded: "The world is in chaos, Suzong's sudden collapse is caused by your inability to assist the prime minister. Moreover, the courtiers are greedy and abused, and everyone should be killed!" After that, the troops will be killed. The number of courtiers who died was extremely large. According to the "Northern History" and "Wei Shu", there are more than 1,300 people, and there are more than 2,000 records. Even the Huangmen Lang Wang Zunye brothers who were in mourning at home, regardless of good or bad, all were hacked with knives and axes to kill them all.Er Zhurong asked the soldiers to clamor again: "The Yuan family is destroyed, and the Er Zhu family will prosper!" Then, he sent soldiers to raise their swords and rush to the palace. At that time, Emperor Xiaozhuang was walking outside the tent with his brothers, wanting to see what happened outside.Several sergeants hugged Emperor Zhuang, claimed defense, and rushed into the account. The rest of the people chopped the two princes into several sections.Hearing the screams of the two brothers outside the tent, Zhuang Emperor Yuan Ziyou hurriedly asked what happened, but the sergeant didn't answer, forcing him to go to the river bridge and put him under house arrest in the tent. Emperor Zhuang was filled with anxiety and anger, he never expected that his brother would die before his eyes within a few days of becoming emperor. He sent someone to say to Er Zhurong: "Emperors rise and fall, ups and downs are impermanent. Now the four directions are disintegrated, and the generals are rising with all their strength. This is God's will, not human power. I am like-minded and aim for the whole life. How dare Desperately wishing for the position of heaven! The general is forced to do so. If the destiny is fulfilled, the general will be honored at the right time; if he refuses to live in it, he will save Wei Sheji, and he will choose relatives and sages to assist him face to face." Er Zhurong's subordinate Gao Huan advised Rong to proclaim himself emperor.Another general, He Bayue, expressed the opposite opinion: "The general is the first to mobilize righteous soldiers to eliminate treacherous traitors. Proclaiming emperor immediately after great achievements have not been made, can quickly cause disasters, which may not be a good thing." Er Zhurong was very superstitious and sent someone to cast a golden statue of himself. When the Northern Wei Dynasty and northern Hu people made major decisions, such as choosing a queen, they often cast gold figures to predict good or bad luck.It was cast four times in total, but none of the golden statues were cast.A wizard trusted by Er Zhurong also persuaded him, saying that the weather and personnel were immature. It is estimated that there were too many courtiers killed, and a small chieftain was greatly stimulated by such a big thing, coupled with superstition, Er Zhurong was in a trance and couldn't control himself. He stood there for a long time before recovering and said: If you made such a big mistake, you should commit suicide to make amends to the court." He Bayue advised him to kill Gao Huan to thank the world.Dissuade left and right. At four o'clock that night, Er Zhurong welcomed Emperor Zhuang back to the palace again. He rolled off his horse and kowtowed to Emperor Zhuang to die.At this moment, Emperor Zhuang was just a puppet, and he was glad that he survived, how could he dare to let Er Zhurong die? Er Zhurong's Qihu soldiers killed so many princes and ministers, but none of them dared to enter Luoyang City. The common people in the city fled wildly when they heard the rumor that Er Zhurong was about to plunder, and less than one tenth of the people remained. After Er Zhurong was returned to the palace by the emperor, the above table demanded that Emperor Zhuang's elder brother, the Supreme King, be granted the title of Supreme Emperor, and the other ministers who died in Heyin were given official ranks as a comfort to life and death. Then, Er Zhurong proposed to move the capital at the court meeting.Emperor Zhuang is Weiwei, and everyone makes promises.Only the capital official Shangshu Yuan Chen blatantly said no. Er Zhurong said angrily, "It's none of your business to move the capital, you're so stubborn! Don't you know about Heyin?" Yuan Chen replied: "The affairs of the world should be discussed with the people of the world. How can I scare Yuan Chen with the matter of Heyin. I, the national clan, are in the official position of the Minister. Life is useless, and death is no harm. Even if I break my head and heart today, Have nothing to fear!" Er Zhurong was furious, and immediately drew his sword to kill him.He persuaded his younger brother Er Zhu Shilong, and Er Zhurong suppressed his anger. At that time, everyone present was shocked, but Yuan Chen himself looked calm. A few days later, Er Zhurong and Emperor Zhuang climbed up and looked around. Seeing the majestic palace and the rows of trees, he sighed to himself: "I was stupid before as a minister. The imperial residence is so prosperous. I still want to move the capital. Now think about Yuan Shangshu. Your persuasion is really justified." As a result, he no longer insisted on moving the capital. In May, Er Zhurong was conferred the title of Daxingtai of Beidao. He personally went to the Guangming Palace to enter Xie Xiaozhuang Emperor, and swore that he had no second thoughts.Emperor Wei personally left his seat to stop his worship, and swore that he had never suspected Er Zhurong.Er Zhurong was overjoyed, begged for wine and drank heavily, and was so drunk that he passed out. Looking at this powerful minister who slaughtered his brothers and sisters, Emperor Zhuang's heart suddenly became murderous, and he wanted to step forward and finish Er Zhurong with a knife.Left and right remonstrated bitterly, saying that the guards around were all Erzhu's henchmen.Emperor Zhuang endured his anger, and sent someone to carry Er Zhurong on a bed, and sent him to the room in Zhongchang's province to rest. In the middle of the night, Er Zhurong woke up from his drunkenness, and he was terrified, so he never stayed in the palace again. Er Zhurong's daughter was originally Wei Suzong's side concubine. He also wanted to marry his daughter to Emperor Zhuang to be his queen, but he didn't have the concept of "one daughter does not marry two husbands" at all.Emperor Zhuang hesitated.Huangmen's attendant Zu Ying persuaded the emperor to be patient, and brought up the ancient principle of "anti-classic and righteousness", so Emperor Zhuang agreed to the marriage.Er Zhurong was overjoyed, and has since become the emperor's father-in-law again. Er Zhurong behaved lightly and liked to ride horses and shoot arrows.Every time he met, he didn't have much to do, he just got on and off his horse to have fun, which was like performing equestrianism. He often holds banquets with the emperor in Xilin Garden and enjoys shooting arrows. At the same time, he also asked the queen's daughter to also watch, and gathered the princes and nobles who escaped from the net in Heyin to drink and enjoy the performance.Whenever he saw the emperor hit the target, he danced and shouted, the generals and guards circled and danced accordingly, and the princesses and concubines had to raise their arms and cheer. In fact, the clan of the Wei Dynasty at this time had been deeply sinicized, and they must have hated Er Zhurong's barbarian tricks in their hearts. But as a puppet in the string, he can only obey Er Zhurong's orders. When the wine was hot, Er Zhurong sat cross-legged on the ground and sang his hometown Huqu. After the banquet in the evening, he will hold hands with his cronies and sing Hui Bole again.According to the author's guess, this song and dance named Echo Music must be very similar to the Russian Cossack's squatting and hovering dance. Er Zhurong is cruel by nature, moody, and never leaves his sword, spear, bow and arrow.Once when he saw two monks riding the same horse, he was furious and sent someone to arrest them and make them hit each other hard with their bald heads. When they ran out of strength, they sent someone to hold the two monks in their arms, and rammed them head to head until they died. Before Er Zhurong led the army back to Jinyang, he summoned his confidants Yuan Tianmu and others into Luoyang to occupy important positions, and replaced all the high officials in the court with people he was familiar with.Emperor Wei Zhuang had nothing to do about it. At this time, Ge Rong's rebellion in Wei State was unstoppable.Ge Rong merged the four armed forces, known as a million, and besieged Yecheng. When Er Zhurong heard the news, he led 7,000 elite soldiers (some say 70,000) and two horses (one horse as a deputy, so that he can travel day and night) and went straight to Hebei. When Ge Rong heard that Er Zhurong had such a small force, he was overjoyed and asked his men to prepare some long ropes, threatening to tie them all up immediately when Er Zhurong came. This reckless man who was born as a grassroots bandit turned his back to Yecheng and lined up for dozens of miles to meet the enemy casually.Er Zhurong is definitely a master of masters in fighting. He first sent troops to ambush in the valley, ready to attack by surprise. In another group of three, hundreds of groups of cavalry were sent to leap around, raising dust and clamoring, so that Ge Rong's soldiers did not know how many they had.The two sides fought at close range, considering that the sword was not as good as the stick, and each soldier was given a stick to hide in his sleeve for close attack. In order to prevent the soldiers from being greedy for meritorious service and begging for rewards by cutting off their heads, he also ordered that the standard of rewards should not be based on human heads after the war, but only on big victories.Just imagine, if the heads of millions of people were to be cut off by 7,000 people without moving, these 7,000 people would have to be exhausted to death. When the two armies met, Er Zhurong personally charged into the formation, led his troops out of the formation, and attacked from inside and outside, smashing Ge Rong's army of one million, and captured Ge Rong alive on the spot. The leader was captured, and all Ge Rong's subordinates surrendered. Seeing so many surrendered soldiers in a panic, Er Zhurong considered that even if so many people surrendered, there would still be more than a hundred people fighting against his own sergeant. He was afraid that capturing them immediately would cause the opponents to panic and resist, so he ordered Sergeant Ge Rong to be on the spot. When dismissed, relatives can accompany them without asking any questions. "So the crowd was overjoyed, and they dispersed as soon as they boarded. Hundreds of thousands of people dispersed in one day."When these stragglers had gone hundreds of miles away and couldn't get together, Er Zhurong sent troops to escort them separately, and selected the leaders among them to serve in his own army, so that the newly attached soldiers were convinced of his handling. Due to this great achievement, Er Zhurong was crowned as the prime minister by the Wei Dynasty, and his two sons, Manjusri and Wenchang, were crowned kings at the same time. Destroy Yuan Hao Gong Gaiwei Dynasty During the disaster in Heyin, Wei State's Runan Wang Yuanyue, Linhuai Wang Yuanyu, and Beihai Wang Yuanhao all hurried south and surrendered to Liang Guo in the Southern Dynasty. After Wei Zhuang Emperor Yuan Ziyou ascended the throne, the world is in charge, and both Yuan Yue and Yuan Yu returned to the Wei Dynasty.Emperor Wu of Liang Xiao Yan named Yuan Hao King of Wei, and sent General Chen Qingzhi with thousands of soldiers to escort him back to the north. Here, I have to talk about the great general Chen Qingzhi of Liang Guo in the Southern Dynasty.Chairman Mao read "Southern History", and after seeing his deeds, he also personally approved the calligraphy and said: "It is admirable for thousands of years." Chen Qingzhi, styled Ziyun. He followed Emperor Wu of Liang since he was a child, and was appreciated by Emperor Wu's cronies for his diligence and loyalty. In the first year of Datong, in the first battle of Guoyang, he defeated more with less, defeated thirteen cities of Wei soldiers, and captured tens of thousands. Emperor Wu of Liang issued an edict to comfort him. In 529, Emperor Wu of Liang appointed him as General Biaoyong, with 7,000 soldiers, and sent him back to Yuan Haobei. At that time, the Wei Dynasty believed that Yuan Hao and Chen Qingzhi were few and powerful, and they didn't take them seriously at all.Unexpectedly, Chen Qingzhi led an army to conquer Xingcheng first, and approached Liang Guo (place name).General Qiu Daqian of the Wei Dynasty had 70,000 soldiers and built nine cities to resist Chen Qingzhi.Qingzhi led the army to attack, and from morning to night, they took down three cities in a row.Qiu Daqian was defeated and surrendered to Chen Qingzhi.Yuan Hao is the emperor.Yuan Huiye, king of Jiyin in the Wei Dynasty, led 20,000 Yulin soldiers to garrison Kaocheng. Chen Qingzhi captured the city and captured Yuanhuiye alive. The two men led the army to continue westward until they reached Xingyang and attacked the city violently. At this time, Yuan Tianmu and Erzhu Tumeier of the Wei Dynasty and other 300,000 troops came to reinforce them, and they followed each other without end.The soldiers of the Liang Dynasty were shocked.Chen Qingzhi looked calm, untied his saddle and fed his horse, and calmly said to the soldiers: "We slaughtered cities and territories along the way, and killed many people. The soldiers led by Yuan Tianmu and others were so jealous that they wanted to kill us. There are 7,000 troops, and the enemy has more than 300,000 people. Only by embracing the will to die can you survive. The enemy, Ma Duo, cannot fight with them in the open field. We should rush to attack the city and occupy it when the enemy's army is not there. Don't be suspicious, everyone. If you hesitate, you will die if you run away." After finishing his speech, Chen Qingzhi beat the drums and sounded the horn, commanding the soldiers to ascend the city. The generals of the Liang Dynasty, who had reported their mortal intentions, attacked the city and captured Xingyang within a few hours, captured the shocked general defending the city Yang Yu, and beheaded thirty-seven generals under his command.Soon, Yuan Tianmu led troops to besiege the city, and Chen Qingzhi led 3,000 soldiers to meet the enemy in the north city and smashed the enemy army.Yuan Tianmu and Erzhu Tumeier were defeated. With all his strength, Chen Qingzhi attacked the tiger prison directly, and Erzhu Shilong abandoned the city and fled. At this point, the Wei Dynasty was in turmoil, and Yuan Ziyou, the emperor of Wei Zhuang who was supported by Er Zhurong, fled alone.Yuan Hao entered the Luoyang Palace, and all the officials of the imperial family of the Wei Dynasty prepared their laws to welcome Yuan Hao.Chen Qingzhi was awarded the title of General of Chariots and Cavalry, and Minister of Attendance. Yuan Tianmu, Er Zhurong's confidant, led a crowd of 40,000 to attack Hulao.Yuan Hao sent Chen Qingzhi to meet him.Yuan Tianmu sent Fei Mu (the man who persuaded Er Zhurong to kill the courtiers of the king of Wei) to lead 20,000 soldiers to attack the tiger prison, and he took the remaining 20,000 soldiers to stand by the Yellow River and wait and see.Because he had no idea, Yuan Tianmu took the lead in fleeing north across the Yellow River before long.Originally, Fei Mu's 20,000-strong army was so fierce that Chen Qingzhi's thousands of defenders could barely defend, and Hulao City was about to be captured.Suddenly, Fei Mu learned that Yuan Tianmu himself had crossed the river and escaped. He was immediately discouraged, thinking that there was no follow-up army to support him, and he would be defeated, so he surrendered to Chen Qingzhi before the battle. Chen Qingzhi led his army back to attack Daliang and Liang Guo, and they all fell. From Zhi County to Luoyang, Chen Qingzhi marched 7,000 soldiers across thousands of miles, captured 32 cities in total, fought 47 battles, and conquered everything. The 7,000 soldiers under Chen Qingzhi all wore white robes. This attire looked very eye-catching on the battlefield, and it also showed their courage and confidence in victory. For this reason, folk songs near Luoyang sang: "Famous generals should not be imprisoned, and thousands of soldiers should avoid white robes." When Yuan Hao entered the Luoyang palace, there were quite a few guards in the harem, and the security was the same as before. After all, they were all close relatives of the imperial family, and most of the counties in the south of the Yellow River expressed their obedience.Yuan Hao sits on the throne, and everyone in the world hopes that the new emperor will be wise and able to reorganize the government. Yuan Hao thinks that he is the emperor's order from heaven, and his arrogance gradually arises. The former guests and close servants were all promoted to high officials, interfering with government affairs, drinking for fun day and night, and ignoring state affairs.Thousands of soldiers from the Southern Dynasty came to the Jinxiu capital of the Wei Kingdom, and they would not miss Shu. In the violent city, the people of the Wei Dynasty began to be disappointed with Yuan Hao. Er Zhurong heard that Yuan Ziyou, the emperor of Wei Zhuang whom he set up, had fled to the eldest son (place name), so he hurriedly led his troops to go.Emperor Wei Zhuang returned to the south immediately, with Er Zhurong as the forerunner.Within more than ten days, the soldiers gathered in large numbers, provided food and equipment, and fought one after another. They came straight to Luoyang. After Yuan Hao occupied Luoyang, he and Chen Qingzhi began to suspect each other. The clan kings of the Wei Dynasty also secretly persuaded Yuan Hao to break away from the command of Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty.Chen Qingzhi also made preparations in secret, and he persuaded Yuan Hao: "Now that there are four foreign enemies, you should report to the emperor to send elite soldiers to reinforce it. He also ordered all states and counties to send back people from the Southern Dynasties who were exiled in the Wei territory." Yuan Hao and the clan The kings secretly discussed: "Chen Qingzhi's soldiers are only a few thousand, and it is already difficult to control. If Liang's soldiers are large, our Wei State will definitely perish." Fearing that Chen Qingzhi would secretly inform Emperor Wu of Liang, Yuan Hao took the lead and said: "Now Hebei Henan is all under the control of the minister (Yuan Hao himself called himself Emperor Wu of Liang), and the prefectures and counties need new services. What is needed is comfort and appeasement. It is not appropriate to add troops to Wei, for fear of shaking the hearts of the people." Emperor Wu of Liang also acted like an idiot at this time, and ordered the army to stop advancing at the border. There were less than 10,000 soldiers in the Southern Dynasty in Luoyang, and there were ten times as many Qiang and Hu soldiers who surrendered.Army deputy Ma Fonian persuaded Chen Qingzhi to kill Yuan Hao and occupy Luoyang.Chen Qingzhi was cautious and did not obey. Er Zhurong confronted Yuan Hao and Chen Qingzhi on both sides of the Yellow River.Chen Qingzhi's army fought eleven times in three days, killing many people.Er Zhurong was at a loss, and wanted to return to the north, to avoid his edge, and then think of other ways. His subordinates Yang Kan and Gao Daomu persuaded him not to move, and sent troops to build rafts to cross the Yellow River. After thinking about it, Er Zhurong agreed to this move, sent Er Zhu Zhao to bind the raft, and won the victory. He captured Yuan Hao's son, the leading general Yuan Guanshou, in one fell swoop.Yuan Hao's subordinate Anfeng Wang Yuan Yanming heard of the defeat and collapsed.Luoyang fell, and Yuan Hao fled south with more than a hundred cavalry.Chen Qingzhi led thousands of cavalry and marched back to the east.At this point, all the cities that had been acquired before were all returned to Wei for a while. Er Zhurong personally led his troops to pursue Chen Qingzhi, just as the Song River surged, and Chen Qingzhi's Liang Dynasty soldiers died and dispersed.Chen Qingzhi shaved his hair and dressed up as a monk, and fled back to the Liang Dynasty on foot alone.Even so, Emperor Wu of Liang still granted him the title of Marquis of Yongxing County for his meritorious service. "Southern History" records: "Qing's nature is cautious. He is frugal and doesn't wear rich clothes. He is not good at silk and bamboo. He can't shoot without wearing a horse, but he can get his death power if he is good at caressing soldiers." The style of Confucian generals is once in a thousand years. If you don't judge heroes by success or failure, Chen Qingzhi should be the number one hero in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. When Yuan Hao ran to Linying, he escaped from the cavalry and was killed by Jiang Feng, a county soldier, and passed on to Luoyang. Arrogant and domineering died at the Emperor's Blade Emperor Wei Zhuang feasted on Raul Zhurong, and three hundred people went out of the palace to reward the meritorious soldiers. For a while, the rule of the Wei Dynasty seemed to be consolidated again.Soon, Erzhurong sent Erzhu Tianguang and He Bayue to eliminate the bandit Wanqi Chounu and others in one fell swoop, and Sanqin, Hezhou, Weizhou, Guazhou, Liangzhou, and Shanzhou all surrendered. "Turn the tide and turn the tide."These words were not too much for Er Zhurong at that time.It was precisely at this time that Er Zhurong, who thought he could rebuild the Wei Dynasty, was extremely domineering.Although he is outside the capital, all government affairs are controlled by him from afar.Emperor Wei Zhuang's left and right ministers and servants were all the eyeliner planted by Er Zhurong, and these people would report to him every move the emperor made. Although Er Zhurong supervised and investigated every detail, Emperor Wei Zhuang was still diligent in political affairs.Er Zhurong was very unhappy when he heard that the emperor was paying attention to specific government affairs. Li Shenjun, Minister of the Ministry of Officials, cleaned up the official selection process and found that the Quyang magistrate recommended by Er Zhurong was not qualified to serve as an official, so he did not approve the appointment, and selected other qualified people to take up the post.Er Zhurong was furious, and sent the person he recommended to take office quickly, and drove away the officials appointed by the emperor.Li Shenjun was very frightened and immediately submitted his resignation.Er Zhurong sent his younger brother Er Zhu Shilong to take charge of the selection of officials, and Er Zhu's family members had the final say on everything. Er Zhurong wrote a letter recommending northerners to serve as the governors of Henan provinces, but the emperor did not agree.Er Zhurong's best friend Yuan Tianmu went to the emperor to persuade him personally, but Emperor Zhuang still insisted on his own opinion.Yuan Tianmu said: "The king of Taiyuan has made great contributions to the world, and he is also a great prime minister. If he asks to replace all the officials in the country, you may have to agree, Your Majesty. Why do you have to make trouble with the king of Taiyuan for the small matter of a few people serving as governors of states and counties?" ?” Emperor Zhuang had a great personality, and said in a serious manner: "If the king of Taiyuan doesn't want to be a minister, I should also be replaced. If the minister's festival still exists, then there is no reason to replace all the officials in the world." The words reached Er Zhurong's ears, and he was so angry that he shouted: "Who supported this emperor? How dare you not listen to me now!" Erzhurong's daughter, Empress Erzhu, was not a good deal either. She often got into trouble with the emperor and lost her temper.Emperor Zhuang sent Er Zhu Shilong to persuade her, and she said angrily: "Our family set up the emperor, dare to treat me like this now. My father originally wanted to be the emperor himself, and the matter will be settled soon." Er Zhu Shilong also echoed: "If the king of Taiyuan becomes the emperor himself, I will be the prince now." Emperor Wei Zhuang was persecuted by strong officials outside and threatened by evil queens inside. He was often unhappy, and he did not look happy at all like the Venerable Wan Cheng. He was only glad that the world was troubled and thieves kept going, so that Er Zhurong couldn't keep busy, and put less pressure on himself. When Guanlong Dading and the day when news of success spread frequently, Emperor Zhuang looked worried instead. Chengyang Wang Yuanwei and his attendant Li Yu both hated Er Zhurong's monopoly and wanted to control the government by themselves, so they secretly persuaded Emperor Zhuang to get rid of Er Zhurong every day.As long as Emperor Zhuang thought of the tragedy of his brothers and ministers being massacred in the Heyin Massacre, he also felt that Er Zhurong had to be eliminated in order to avoid disaster.Servant Yang Kan, Shangshu Youpu She Yuanluo, Zhongshu Servant Xing Zicai, and General Xi Yi of Wuwei all participated in the conspiracy. At this time, Er Zhurong applied to enter the court again, claiming that he would serve the queen during her confinement.Emperor Zhuang was terrified, both afraid that he would come and afraid that he would not come.Discuss with close ministers every day how to kill Er Zhurong. Erzhu Shilong suspected that Emperor Zhuang's behavior was different, so he sent someone to write an anonymous post on his door: "The emperor conspired with Yang Kan and Gao Daomu to kill the king of Taiyuan!" Then he pretended to find the anonymous letter and took off the post. The son was presented to Er Zhurong.Er Zhurong didn't pay attention to anyone at this time, and tore up the anonymous post a few times, and spat on the ground: "Shilong is such a coward, who dares to kill me!" People have a developed sixth sense, and Er Zhurong's wife also advised him not to go to Luoyang.Er Zhurong didn't listen. In August 530, surrounded by four or five thousand cavalry, Er Zhurong set off from Bingzhou with flags unfurled and swords bright. At that time, people in the government and the public said that Er Zhurong was going to rebel, and there were rumors that Emperor Zhuang wanted to kill Er Zhurong, and there was a lot of discussion for a while. In September, Er Zhurong arrived in Luoyang.Emperor Wei Zhuang wanted to kill him immediately, but he was afraid that Yuan Tianmu, who was staying in Bingzhou, would rise up and cause future troubles, so he forbearance did not say anything, and issued an edict to let Yuan Tianmu also enter Beijing. Someone wrote to Er Zhurong saying that Emperor Zhuang wanted to kill him, so the master didn't rush and showed the book to Emperor Zhuang himself.Emperor Zhuang said: "People outside say that you are going to kill me, Your Majesty. How can you believe the rumors?" So Er Zhurong no longer doubted. Bring weapons. Seeing this, Emperor Zhuang wanted to stop his assassination of Er Zhurong.Xianyang Wang Yuanwei persuaded: "Even if Er Zhurong does not rebel, he can't bear his persecution to the emperor, let alone there is no guarantee that he will not rebel!" In mid-September, the astronomy is weird, and the long star comes out of the middle platform and sweeps the big horn.Er Zhurong asked Gao Laizu, a native of Hengzhou who was well versed in astronomy and astrology, to ask what it meant, and the answer was "a phenomenon that removes the old and brings forth the new."Er Zhurong was very happy and thought it was a good omen. Xingtai doctor Li Xianhe flattered Er Zhurong: "Your Majesty, the award of Jiuxi is too light, the emperor really has no eyesight!" Governor Guo Luocha echoed: "It is not only the award of Jiuxi, I am planning to write Zen essays this year (It means that Emperor Zhuang Yingchan gave the throne to Er Zhurong)." Chu Guang, who joined the army, also said: "People say that the purple air over Bingzhou City must be a good omen for Taiyuan King An ascending the throne." Er Zhurong smiled after hearing this. All of Er Zhurong's subordinates felt that they would be dignitaries in the new dynasty, and that their master was about to establish a country and ascend the throne, so they bullied Emperor Wei Zhuang's left and right ministers. Er Zhurong's youngest daughter was married to Emperor Zhuang's nephew Chenliu Wang Yuankuan. He often pointed to this young prince and said, "In the end, my son-in-law will definitely help me." Chengyang Wang Yuanhui said to Emperor Zhuang: "Er Zhurong will definitely get rid of His Majesty now. If the queen's child is not a boy, he will definitely make King Chenliu the emperor." Coincidentally, the night before, Emperor Zhuang dreamed that he cut off ten fingers with a knife, so he asked Yuan Hui and Yang Kan what the dream meant. Yuan Hui said: "The poisonous snake bites the hand, and the strong man cuts off the wrist. This is the meaning of the dream of cutting the fingers. It is a good omen!" Yuan Tianmu was summoned to Luoyang, and Emperor Zhuang personally greeted him.A few people were drinking and shooting arrows in Xilin Garden. Er Zhurong suggested that Emperor Zhuang should take hundreds of people out hunting with him.Thinking of what Xi Yi said a few days ago that Er Zhurong was going to take the opportunity of hunting to kidnap the emperor and move the capital, Emperor Zhuang made up his mind to get rid of the powerful ministers even more. Therefore, he said to Wen Zisheng, a member of Zhongshushe: "The situation I am in now is that I have to do this even if I die, and I don't necessarily die. I would rather die like Gaogui Township than Changgui Township Live like that!" (Referring to Cao Wei Gaogui Township Duke Cao Mao personally commanded the imperial soldiers to kill Sima Zhao, but died; Changgui Township Duke Cao Huan gave Sima his life.) Just when Er Zhurong and Yuan Tianmu joined Zoushi, Emperor Zhuang immediately ambushed more than a dozen people on the east side of Mingguang Hall. The two sat down and just had a few mouthfuls of food when suddenly the subordinate reported to the military and the two left the palace. The ambushed people went up to the hall from the east steps, and the two of them had already reached the atrium, so the murder failed. After a few days, Er Zhurong went to the house of his younger son-in-law Chen Liu Wang and got drunk.Zhuang Emperor conspired with the left and right to murder Er Zhurong's plan, and Er Zhu Shilong learned about it, and persuaded Er Zhurong to replace or kill the emperor as soon as possible.Er Zhurong never took Emperor Zhuang seriously, and waved his hands after hearing this, thinking that the young emperor was simply incapable of doing such a thing. Everyone who participated in the plot to kill Er Zhu Rong was terrified when they learned that the news had leaked.Emperor Zhuang became more and more afraid, worrying that some of them would report the matter to Er Zhurong.Chengyang Wang Yuanhui suggested: "Send someone to tell Er Zhurong that the queen has a son, and he will definitely enter the court to congratulate him. Take this opportunity to kill him." Emperor Zhuang said: "The queen is only nine months pregnant, can he believe it?" Yuan Hui said: "Women give birth to children in less than a month. Er Zhurong will definitely not be suspicious." Emperor Wei Zhuang ambushed his soldiers in the east of the Mingguang Hall, announced to the outside world that the prince was born, and sent Yuan Hui to gallop to Er Zhurong's house to express his congratulations.Er Zhurong is playing a gambling game with Yuan Tianmu.Yuan Hui stepped forward and took off Er Zhurong's hat, dancing and circling on the spot. (A poem by Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty: "Take off your hat and smile for you." Apparently, the celebration etiquette of Hu people in the north still existed in the Tang Dynasty.) For the grandfather. Er Zhurong had no choice but to believe that he entered the court at the same time as Yuan Tianmu. When Emperor Wei Zhuang heard about Er Zhurong's arrival, he unconsciously turned pale due to excessive fright.Wen Zisheng, a member of Zhongshushe, saw this and said, "Your Majesty's face has changed." Emperor Zhuang quickly asked for wine and drank heavily to strengthen his courage. When Er Zhurong entered the hall, he saw Wen Zisheng holding an edict (an edict announcing Er Zhurong's crimes and killing him), and asked Wen Zisheng what he was holding.Wen Zisheng's expression remained unchanged, he just replied: "The imperial edict".Er Zhurong was overjoyed and went straight into the hall without looking at him. When he saw Emperor Zhuang, before Er Zhurong could express his congratulations, he suddenly saw two of Emperor Zhuang's subordinates running in from the east gate of the hall with knives in hand.Emperor Zhuang had already prepared a knife across his knee, and seeing Er Zhurong rushing forward, he stabbed straight into the abdomen, and the powerful officials were killed immediately.Everyone raised their knives and slashed wildly, and Yuan Tianmu also died under the knives. The 14-year-old son Erzhu Puti who followed Er Zhurong into the palace and more than 30 followers were all killed by ambushes.
