Chapter 7 [Life is a scene of temperament emperor Ming Wuzong]-1

Temperament Emperor Ming Wuzong In 1518 AD, on the playground of the Ming Dynasty imperial court, there was a tent surrounded by translucent silk fabrics. The strange thing is that there is no dome on the top of the tent. The hunting wind made the silk curtain tremble and rattle.A group of courtiers in brocade shirts and the royal army in gold and silver armor are holding their breath, watching the "circus" inside the tent Performance: I saw a young man in his twenties with a handsome, fair face and a strong physique. He has a net scarf on his head, his upper body is bare, and his lower body is only wearing a red knee cap and a pair of black soft leather boots. On the open space next to it, there are round-necked and narrow-sleeved gowns and Yishan crowns embroidered with golden dragon patterns. This person is agile, jumping around, and is dealing with a big eye-catching tiger. The king of beasts roared and flicked its tail, rushing back and forth, with a fierce look in its eyes, with the intention of devouring it.But the tiger cut and danced its claws, but the young people dodged them all. When he was brushing against him, this young man with a thin waist and shoulders, his whole body whirled and kicked sideways, kicking the tiger's throat, kicking the big guy to the ground, howling endlessly.Onlookers chanted "Long live".

This man is not a juggler in the palace, nor an orc teaser like a gladiator in ancient Rome, but a majestic son of heaven—Zhu Houzhao, Emperor Zhengde of Emperor Wuzong of Ming Dynasty. After the transitional emperors Ming Xianzong and Ming Xiaozong Mingyingzong died, their son Zhu Jianshen came to the throne, namely Ming Xianzong.Zhu Jianshen was originally named Zhu Jianjun. When his father was captured, he was still very young, and he was promoted to the crown prince by the ministers and the queen mother.Emperor Jing of the Ming Dynasty took the throne firmly and wanted to make his son the crown prince, so he abolished his nephew as King Yi.Ming Yingzong was restored, and Zhu Jianshen was established as the crown prince. It can be said that he has suffered many disasters since he was a child.

From a psychological point of view, boys who were mentally traumatized in childhood have a strong sense of psychological dependence, so Zhu Jianshen has always favored Concubine Wan Gui, who is seventeen years older than himself. When Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty succeeded to the throne, he was only eighteen years old, and the Wan family was already thirty-five.This woman is very scheming, and she can always hold her husband, the emperor, who is almost half her age, tightly in her hands. While making progress, she slandered and forced Ming Xianzong to abolish Empress Wu.With this woman in charge of politics, one can imagine that the politics of the Ming Xianzong era were not much better. This Concubine Wan Gui not only made great use of the eunuch Wang Zhi, but also was extravagant. She worshiped Buddhism and built temples.

The palace is like a wolf's lair.Concubine Wan Gui is a sinister she-wolf.Only the court lady Ji was a little lucky (she was the daughter of the chieftain of Hezhou, Guangxi). Her son Zhu Youtang was hidden by the eunuch Zhang Min, and finally lived to be six years old in the palace. Later, the child surfaced and became known to Ming Xianzong.Concubine Wan Gui was furious, and quickly sent someone to poison Ji to death, but the fire could not be contained in the paper, and the child could no longer be killed, so she simply let go of Emperor Xianzong's penis and let him have children with his concubines .Living one is living, and living twenty is also living, anyway, the old lady can't give birth in her stomach, so these court ladies and concubines are allowed to have children. In this way, in the future, the chaotic juncture of establishing a crown prince and competing for the crown prince will depend on my wife's ability.

After Ji's son was established as the crown prince, the Empress Dowager, the birth mother of Xianzong, raised the grandson herself. The old grandmother locked the child in her own palace every day, fearing that the concubine Wan Gui would poison her.Once, Concubine Wan Gui called the prince to her palace to "play" , Grandma asked her grandson, "Go there and don't eat anything!" The child was very clever, and jumped into the Palace of Concubine Wan Gui, and the old lady immediately brought out a lot of food. The child shook his head and said he was not hungry. In fact, Concubine Wan Gui wanted to curry favor with the "quasi-emperor", and at this time she had already dared not to poison her publicly.Seeing that the child said he was not hungry, she sent someone to make a bowl of fish soup for the child to drink. The crown prince blinked his big eyes, and simply said, "I don't want to eat it, I'm afraid it will be poisonous!" When Concubine Wan Gui heard this, she was angry and anxious, clapping her hands and crying, "This child who is less than ten years old doubts me so much!" If he becomes emperor in the future, he will definitely kill me!" As a result, Concubine Wan Gui became ill with anger and depression. In the 23rd year of Chenghua, the wicked woman died of a serious illness.Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty mourned endlessly, and stopped court for seven days, posthumously titled "Gong Su Duan Shen Rong Jing Huang Noble Concubine".Ming Xianzong, who had always had an Oedipus complex, could not bear the blow and died of illness half a year later. His son Zhu Youtang succeeded to the throne as Ming Xiaozong and changed Yuan Hongzhi.

One emperor and one courtier. When Ming Xiaozong succeeded to the throne, a courtier wrote a letter to investigate the death of Ming Xiaozong's biological mother who was poisoned by Concubine Wan Gui, and wanted to initiate a major case to arrest the family members of Concubine Wan Gui.Emperor Xiaozong of the Ming Dynasty was a kind man, afraid that this matter would involve future generations' evaluation of his father, so he issued an edict not to ask. During the period of Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty, the title of Emperor Mingjing, his uncle, had been restored, and he was rehabilitated in Qianqian Prison. He had good governance in the early days.

However, because of his favor and trust in Concubine Wan Gui, the eunuch Wang Zhi opened the "Xichang" spy agency, and the woman was in danger, causing a lot of harm.Fortunately, there were many upright ministers in the Xianzong dynasty, such as Li Xian, Peng Shi, Shang Ren, Han Yong, Xiang Chen, Wang Yue, Yu Zijun, Ma Wensheng, etc. The political situation during the Chenghua period was generally maintained. Ming Xianzong Yongjun is one, and his son Ming Xiaozong Zhengzheng is a virtuous and wise monarch. The emperor was "respectful, thrifty, conscientious, diligent and caring for the people, conscientious and conscientious, the way of maintaining prosperity and profitability, using the order of the dynasty to be peaceful, and the people's property prosperous", with the assistance of the virtuous ministers Xu Pu, Li Dongyang, Xie Qian and others, He deposed the sycophants, managed the river troubles, edited the canon, and stopped the Tatars. His literary and military achievements are commendable. It is a pity that Ming Xiaozong did not live forever, and died of illness at the age of thirty-six.His eldest son, Zhu Houzhao, came to the throne at the age of fifteen. This young master, the famous Ming Wuzong, changed his name to Yuan Zhengde.

Ming Xiaozong is a good man. Unfortunately, there is Ming Xianzong, a mediocre father, and Ming Wuzong, a madman. On the contrary, he himself is not so eye-catching in Ming history, and he is almost a forgotten role. The fifteen years of Ming Wuzong's reign were truly a key turning point for the Ming Dynasty from prosperity to decline. Before Liu Jin’s father-in-law’s era, Emperor Xiaozong of the Ming Dynasty was about to die, and when he was dying, he tried his best to support him. He sent people to call the three academicians Liu Jian, Li Dongyang, and Xie Qian to the sickbed of Qianqing Palace, and entrusted him: "I can’t afford to be sick, it is also the fate of heaven." .Since I took the throne, I have always abided by the laws of my ancestors, and I dare not be negligent and lazy. What will happen in the future, I will bother you and your loved ones!"

He took Liu Jian's hand again, and asked Gu: "The prince is young, he likes leisure and happiness, Aiqing and others should teach him to study, and guide him to become a virtuous king." Ming Wuzong Zhu Houzhao who succeeded to the throne, in terms of his "birth", he couldn't be more upright. His biological mother was the Empress Zhang of Emperor Xiaozong of the Ming Dynasty. Moreover, Xiaozong and Zhang's couple are very rare loving couples in history. "The emperor (Xiaozong) and Zhang Hou had a very close relationship, and they were never close concubines for life."Ming Xiaozong had few sons due to his lack of lust. Besides Zhu Houzhao, he also had another son, Zhu Houwei, who died of illness when he was three years old. Therefore, Ming Xiaozong only had his son Zhu Houzhao as the successor of "Genhongmiaozheng".Knowing him like a father, Ming Xiaozong made clear his son's disposition before his death, which shows that he has always been worried about his young son. What is a little gratifying is that the ministers are in power and the world is not chaotic. Ming Xiaozong felt that after his son succeeded to the throne, he should be able to learn well if the ministers corrected him.

However, in the Ming Dynasty, where the imperial power was extremely autocratic, the only flaw in the fundamental system was that the emperor was as big as the sky.If you catch up with Ming Jun or Yong Jun, you will not cause too many troubles; but if you catch up with Ming Wuzong, a troubled emperor who succeeds to the throne in adolescence, whimsical, and does whatever he wants, the country will be in great trouble. At the beginning of the first year of Zhengde (1506) of Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, the eunuch Liu Jin was appointed to be in charge of the "Five Thousand Battalion".

Liu Jin, a native of Xingping, Shaanxi, was originally surnamed Tan. Like Wang Zhen, he was castrated into the palace after becoming an adult. This kind of person knows the world well, and when he is bad, he is much worse than ordinary eunuchs who were castrated since childhood. After he entered the palace in the reign of Emperor Jing of the Ming Dynasty, he recognized an eunuch surnamed Liu as his adoptive father, so he changed his surname to Liu.When Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty was the prince, Liu Jin served in the East Palace, coaxing the young master around, fighting cocks and playing dogs, and he couldn't leave this empathetic Eunuch Liu for a moment. Therefore, after Ming Wuzong became emperor, he promoted Liu Jin very quickly. Among the eunuchs brought into the imperial palace by Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty from the Prince's East Palace, besides Liu Jin, there were also seven eunuchs including Zhang Yong, Gu Dayong, Ma Yongcheng, Gao Feng, Luo Xiang, Wei Bin, and Qiu Ju, collectively known as the "Eight Tigers".These eight eunuchs are all good people, they are good at making the little emperor happy, especially Liu Jin is the most cunning, this person has a good knowledge of ancient and modern times, he always admires Wang Zhen's character in his heart, his ideal in life is to learn from the good example of his predecessors. How absurd, the prince who caused the defeat of Ming Yingzong's civil castle turned out to be the target of Liu Gonggong's envy and imitation. In order to invite pets, Liu Jin presented the little emperor with tricks and entertainments such as hawks, dogs, songs and dances, and horns every day, and often lured Ming Wuzong's "weifu" out of the palace to play. Zhu Houzhao, Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, was only a young man of fifteen or six years old at the time. He was red when he was close to Zhu, and black when he was close to ink. scholar. In the edict of Emperor Xiaozong of the Ming Dynasty, there was a request to remove eunuchs from prisons and serve outside the city gates, and Liu Jin was frustrated. He also persuaded Emperor Wuzong of Ming Dynasty to issue an edict requiring those eunuchs who supervised the army abroad to pay "contracting fees" of "ten thousand gold" each, so as to guide the emperor's desire to amass wealth. At the same time, Liu Jin set up more than 300 "Huangzhuang" around the capital, seizing people's land and invading people and things. As for the outer court, the ministers didn't pay much attention to the eunuchs that Ming Wuzong brought from the East Palace to the palace, they just thought that they were just a few people making the emperor happy and having fun in the palace. However, these people urged the emperor to set up "Huangzhuang" , making money everywhere, disturbing the people and invading profits, the ministers can't just sit and watch, and the academicians Liu Jian, Xie Qian, and Li Dongyang made admonitions for a while and "don't report it." The cabinet ministers were tired of admonishing and did not listen, Shangshu Zhang Sheng, censor Wang Huan, and Nanjing censor Li Guanghan and others wrote chapters to discuss admonitions, but they did not listen. It wasn't until Yang Yuan, who was in charge of astrology observation, used the "star change" as an example, saying that these eunuchs had been punished by heaven for their harm, that Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty was moved. University scholars Liu Jian, Xie Qian, and others, Hu Shangshu Han Wen, and others wrote chapters one after another, impeaching Liu Jin and others, saying that these people "prepared counterfeit tricks and cared about lewdness. Fu Hai Zaju is wrongly listed in the front, or the guide takes the emperor (emperor) of Wancheng to trade with others, which is obscene and obscene, and has no formal style. The daily tour is not enough, and the night is continued. It consumes energy and loses morality... In ancient times, the eunuchs misled the country, the ten permanent servants in the Han (Dynasty), and the changes in the Tang (Dynasty) nectar are their clear principles." The ministers hoped that the emperor would take the eunuchs' chaos in the Han and Tang dynasties as a warning, and implored Ming Wuzong to issue an edict to put several eunuchs in prison and interrogate them severely. Seeing that the ministers are so aggressive, they have the momentum not to kill their playmates. After all, Ming Wuzong is a young man who has just ascended the throne, so he was so shocked that he couldn't eat. Several eunuchs were also "terrified" and hugged their heads together Crying bitterly, feeling that the good times are over. The eunuch Wang Yue, who was the "commander in chief" of the eunuch at that time, was also an old minister of Emperor Wuzong's East Palace, but this prince was a good eunuch with an upright nature. We can't deal with Liu Jin and others' negligence. Ming Wuzong had no choice but to send eunuch Li Rong to send a message to the eunuchs in court, saying: "These eunuchs and servants have been serving me for a long time, and I can't bear to deal with them immediately. I hope that the ministers will be lenient, and I will deal with these people slowly." The ministers were clamoring endlessly, insisting on the emperor's order to punish him immediately. At this time, Liu Jin, Zhang Yong and others were horrified and asked to be sent to Nanjing for resettlement, saying that they only need to spare their lives.University scholar Liu Jian and others were extremely stubborn, saying that "exile" was unacceptable, and forced Ming Wu Zongwu to order to kill these eunuchs. The eunuch Wang Yue, the supervisor of ceremonies, echoed the opinions of the cabinet ministers, hoping that Emperor Wuzong would issue an edict to arrest all people and put them in prison, and severely punish them.Emperor Wuzong had no choice but to agree, and only waited for the next day to issue an order to arrest Liu Jin and others and send them to prison for punishment, so as to give the ministers an explanation. In fact, at this time, the ministers of the court could give Ming Wuzong "favor" and exile the eunuchs first. As long as these people leave the emperor's side, it will be very easy to kill and cut them. However, the cabinet minister Liu Jian and others, being reasonable and not forgiving, insisted on forcing Ming Wuzong to express his position, and immediately wanted to clean up Liu Jin and other favored father-in-laws, which already made Ming Wuzong very uncomfortable. In panic, Liu Jin and the others wept and did not know what to do.In fact, among the ministers, Xu Jin, Minister of the Ministry of War at that time, was a sensible person. He said: "It is enough for these eunuchs to be exiled. If they are forced to rush, things like the change of nectar may happen!" Everyone refused to listen. .Coincidentally, Jiao Fang, Minister of the Ministry of Officials, was a bad person. He had always been on good terms with Liu Jin, so he immediately notified Liu Jin of the courtiers' movements, and secretly advised Liu Eunuch and others. So, in the middle of the night, when Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty was having a banquet and listening to the opera, eight people including Liu Jin, Zhang Yong, and Gu Dayong suddenly appeared, knelt and kowtowed to the little master, weeping loudly for grievances. Seeing this "miserable" state, Ming Wuzong also felt compassion. Liu Jin cried: "The one who framed us is Wang Yue!" Emperor Wuzong was puzzled: "Why did you say it was him?" Liu Jin: "Wang Yue led the Dongchang, colluded with the foreign ministers, and cooperated with the outside, trying to frame our loyal servants! The courtiers said that the slaves waited to buy eagles and dogs for His Majesty's entertainment. Are we the only ones? Wang Yue didn't share?" Hearing that Wang Yue communicated with the courtiers inside and outside, Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty became angry from his heart: "We should arrest this Wang Yue who eats inside and outside immediately!" Liu Jin observed the words and expressions, knowing that the opportunity must not be lost, and the loss will never come again, so he immediately said: "Things like dogs, horses, eagles and rabbits, what harm is your virtue! The reason why the ministers of the left class dare to speak freely is the supervisor of ceremonies. We don’t have any of our own. If Your Majesty allows your own people to control the Chief of Ceremonies, who would dare to shout!” Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty was enlightened, and he immediately ordered Liu Jin to be in charge of the ritual supervisor and "admiral of the regiment camp".In this way, the secret service agencies such as Dongchang and Xichang are not only in the hands of Liu Jin, but he also has the command of the Imperial Guards in the capital. (Liu Jin is the "commander in chief", Qiu Ju is the admiral of the East Factory, Gu Dayong is the admiral of the West Factory, Zhang Yong and others are in charge of the camp affairs of the Imperial Guards, and occupy important areas.) Liu Jin was punished overnight, and the eunuchs were much more decisive than the courtiers. Immediately arrest Wang Yue and other former bosses who did not agree with him, and exile them in Nanjing. After a whole night of busy work, the ministers of the foreign court knew nothing and were kept in the dark. The next morning, all the officials were about to go to court to arrest Liu Jin and others. Before they could speak, a middle official announced the new appointment of Liu Jin and others by the emperor and the punishment of Wang Yue and others. The courtiers were stunned for a moment.Who would have expected that the situation would change drastically overnight. Liu Jian and other cabinet ministers knew that the matter was irreversible, so they had to go to the chapter to ask for it.Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty was naturally happy to be at leisure, so he left it to Liu Jin to deal with.Liu Jin naturally "approved" and ordered Liu Jian and Xie Qian to retire from office, leaving Li Dongyang alone to guard the cabinet. Li Dongyang was able to stay because during the cabinet meeting a few days ago, Liu Jian burst into tears and Xie Qian yelled at the eunuch, but Li Dongyang didn't react very violently and remained silent.Liu Jin has many eyes and ears, and after detecting this situation, he decided to leave Li Dongyang alone as a blindfold. When the news came out, Liu Yu, the imperial censor of Shanxi Province, and others wrote a pleading letter, asking Emperor Wuzong not to abandon the Minister Gu Ming.Seeing the emperor's stance, Liu Jin and others became even more unscrupulous, "So (they) shared the emperor's intentions and punished the ministers with profound texts (severe laws) in foreign countries, making (the ministers) unable to save themselves, and no one dared to speak out." Seeing that there were fewer memorials from the ministers after Liu Jin's death, Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty felt that his eyes and ears were much quieter. Apart from being happy, he felt that Eunuch Liu was capable and trustworthy in his affairs, and he relied heavily on him. Of course Liu Jin would not let the old superior Wang Yuegong go, and sent someone to chase and kill him halfway. Liu Jin is very scheming and pretentious, and he is also very "picky" about his old colleague Gu Dayong and others to show his "public heart".In doing so, he not only deterred his peers, but also bought it in front of Ming Wuzong, who praised him for his fairness in law enforcement. At the same time, Liu Jin promoted Jiao Fang, the Minister of the Ministry of Officials, who was the first to inform him, to a bachelor, and worked in the cabinet. "Every change into a constitution, shackles ministers and workers, Du Sai's words, and cruelty to the soldiers and civilians are all guided by (Jiao) Fang." With Jiao Fang as an accomplice in the Outer Court, Liu Jin's wings have been enriched, and things are more convenient.According to the system of the Ming Dynasty, the head of the Ministry of Officials cannot concurrently serve as the cabinet, because the cabinet is responsible for reviewing draft bills, and the Ministry of Officials is responsible for the selection of officials. All in hand. Since the founding of the Ming Dynasty, such appointments have been prohibited.Liu Jin broke the established law and let his own person "Jiao Fang hold two positions". , mainly for their convenience. Since Han Wen, Minister of the Ministry of Household Affairs, was also the leader who led the ministers to impeach the eunuch, Liu Jin naturally did not let him go.Xu Jin, who was changed to the Minister of the Ministry of Officials, had a disagreement with Liu Jin, and was also expelled by Liu Jin.As long as there is a minister Shang Zhangshu who disagrees with Liu Jin's wishes, he will be dismissed from office at least, and will be imprisoned and killed at worst. Wang Shouren, who was in charge of the Ministry of War at the time, wrote a letter admonishing Ming Wuzong to punish his ministers too much. Liu Jinlan was furious and ordered Wang Shouren to be imprisoned. Field post Cheng. On the way to exile, Liu Jin sent people to wait in ambush on the way, trying to put Wang Shouren to death. When he arrived in Hangzhou, Wang Shouren was afraid that he would be killed, so he threw his clothes into the water overnight, and wrote a posthumous poem, "The hundred-year-old minister is so sad, every night Jiangtao weeps his sons." , trying to create the illusion of committing suicide by drowning to deceive the killer. This trick was done so well that even his family members thought he was really dead, so they went to mourn.Wang Shouren concealed his identity and fled into Wuyi Mountain, finally escaping Liu Jin's murderous hands. But soon, he was afraid that he would hurt his father Wang Hua, so he had to return to the "human world" and went to Longchang, Guizhou to serve as a postman. Wang Hua was then Minister of the Ministry of Officials in Nanjing, and Liu Jin forced him to retire.Wang Shouren must not die in the end, otherwise, the history of Chinese thought would lose a superstar. He later became a philosophical master of a generation, known to later generations as the "Yangming" school. Mr. Liu has the East Factory and the West Factory in his hands, and he is engaged in spy activities. "I have sent the party eunuchs to various places in the town, moved to the official school to more than 1,560 people, and passed the decree to teach hundreds of Jinyi officials... Scatter the school lieutenants and scout from far and near, so that people will never be saved." Eunuch Liu loves to innovate. He created the "Yang Law". He imprisoned ministers in Chang'an Gate in the name of the emperor when he had nothing to do.For key departments, he wants to insert his own people, surpass the rank of officials, take Liu Yu as the Minister of the Ministry of War, and Cao Yuan as the governor of Shaanxi... Ning Wang Zhu Jiahao has unruly intentions and sent people to send a large number of gold treasures to Liu Jin, hoping that the court will return them. His old guard, Liu Jinli Xu.Those who follow the self prosper, those who oppose the self perish. Liu Yu, Shangshu of the Ministry of War, was originally just a local official like Governor Xuanda. After entering Beijing, he became the censor of Zuodu, and immediately gave Liu Jin ten thousand taels of silver as a "meeting gift".At that time, Liu Jin had just assumed power, and her expectations were not high, but she was looking forward to hundreds of silver coins. Suddenly seeing so many white flowers and silver coins, she was inexplicably surprised and shouted: "Mr. Liu has treated me so well!" Therefore, Mr. Liu reciprocated his vote by referendum. After he had the right to "organize" in his hands, he immediately appointed Liu Yu as "Shangshu of the Ministry of War". Therefore, Liu Yu did pick up a lottery, bet properly, and the timing of knowing people is very critical. When Eunuch Liu wanted to show off, he decisively gave a big gift. The impact of the ten thousand taels of silver on Liu Jin at the beginning will not be exchanged for hundreds of thousands of silver in the future. After getting used to it, Liu Jin was no longer impressed by Yin Zi's meeting ceremony. This Liu Yu is a fine individual. A few years later, two months before Liu Jin's defeat, he saw that Eunuch Liu had been rejecting gentlemen and made countless enemies.Of course, Liu Yu is still listed in the dying party, but after all, his wealth and life have been preserved. Moreover, in the past few years when Lao Liu has been in power, he has received tens of millions of taels of silver, which is definitely a good deal compared to the mere 10,000 taels of silver he gave Liu Jin back then.worth it! The reason why Liu Jin can grasp the world's major events is not a new trick, but this trick has been tried and tested by eunuchs: when Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty was concentrating on watching juggling, singing and dancing performances, or playing war games in military uniforms, Liu Jin would always hold a gun. A lot of chapters asked the emperor to "provincially decide".After coming and going, Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty was swept away, and scolded: "What do I want you people for! Annoy me with such shit!" Liu Jin waited for this sentence, and immediately took full responsibility for handling these military affairs. At the beginning, Liu Jin also symbolically put Zhang Zou's comments into the cabinet to "draft an order."The officials in the cabinet were not stupid, they tried to find out the real intention of Liu Jin's father-in-law, and then drafted an order according to his request. If the matter is too serious to be resolved, the cabinet officials will first ask the Tang Houguan to ask Liu Jin for clarification before he dares to write.Later, Liu Jin simply omitted this procedure, and brought all the Zhang Zou documents back to his private house, and his master Zhang Wenmian handled it all by himself.Master Zhang was born as a subordinate official in Songjiang, and was wanted for breaking the law. He fled into Liu Jin's residence and gained great reputation. As a result, such a "deputy-level" subordinate staff became a "true prime minister" who truly had the power to control the world. Due to the overwhelming power, officials of all sizes who were ordered to go out and return to Beijing will definitely go to Liu Jin's private house to say goodbye after meeting the emperor.Gonghou Xunqi, when he saw Liu Jin, he knelt down and saluted. Liu Jin "does his part" in handling affairs. He created a "white book" by himself, then wrote the general idea and sent it to the cabinet drafters. Li Dongyang and others were too busy to take care of themselves. Those who mentioned Liu Jin in the edict were all called "Eunuch Liu" and did not dare to write his "name taboo".In the memorial of the Metropolitan Procuratorate, an official once wrote "Liu Jin" by mistake The name on it made Eunuch Liu furious when he took the case. In the end, Du Yushi (Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme Procuratorate) Tu Yu led all his staff to kneel down and beg for mercy. In order to further strengthen the power of the eunuchs, Liu Jin made an edict that "the eunuchs guarding the world will be pre-criminal political affairs", and the title of governor of the world was abolished, so that the local power is also firmly controlled by the father-in-law. Eunuchs are neither male nor female, half yin and not yang, and they hold grudges very much. It really is a resentment that is easy to make but hard to eliminate. Therefore, in April of the second year of Zhengde (1507), Liu Jin ordered all officials to kneel at the south of Jinshui Bridge, announcing the "traitorous party" personnel and their charges. There are as many as fifty-three scholars including Liu Jian, Xie Qian, and the Minister of the Household Department Hanwen. Those whose names were included in the "Record of Traitorous Party" were all expelled from office. As for Li Dongyang, Liu Jin did not forget the old grudge, and framed the cabinet minister in prison to prepare for his death. However, because Lao Li is good at ups and downs in troubled times, and because of the ups and downs in troubled times, and the great celebrity Han Lin Kanghai, who Liu Jin has always admired, came to Liu Jin's house to intercede, Lao Li finally got his life.Since then, Lao Li has become more cautious and tried to avoid misfortune. The reason why he has not been removed by Liu Jin is that Liu Jin's eunuch party did not want to expel all the former cabinet members at that time, fearing that acting too much would cause a greater backlash from the government and the public. The inscriptions included compliments or something, so he was finally "tolerated" by Eunuch Liu. In the future, when Liu Jin was defeated, Li Dongyang was hailed by many people as being able to understand the general situation, and praised him for being able to preserve the "good people" when the tigers and wolves were in power. Courage and practical action in the fight against evil snobbery. But Li Dongyang is honest, honest, generous, cautious, and a literary master of the Ming Dynasty, so he is definitely not a bad person in essence. There is a faint king on the top, and an eunuch on the bottom. It is not easy for him to rise and fall. In addition to Jiao Fang, Liu Jin appointed Zhang Cai as the doctor of Wenxuan Department in the winter of the second year of Zhengde.Although this Zhang Cai is also a villain, but he has real skills. He was born as a Jinshi and was once the head of the official department. Because of his good relationship with Jiao Fang, he was naturally used by Liu Jin. Zhang Cai is a handsome man with a fair complexion and a slender figure. When I saw Liu Jin, Zhang Cai was very attractive, with a high crown and fresh clothes, a handsome man, and a eloquent eloquence. When Liu Jin saw such a talent and defected to the door, he respected and loved him, and when he moved his hand, he hated seeing each other late.He exclaimed: "Mr. Zhang, you are truly a genius, how could I get a talent like you!" This Zhang Cai was promoted all the way, and soon entered the cabinet, and was added to the prince's Shaobao.Zhang Cai is very good at coming.Every time Liu Jin's father-in-law was on vacation, the civil and military ministers of the Manchu Dynasty would wait in front of his house, sometimes waiting for a long time without seeing Liu Jin's father-in-law. But only Zhang Cai always deliberately came slowly, walked slowly, went straight into Liu Jin's small pavilion, and had a long drink with his father-in-law before coming out happily. As a result, everyone feared and respected Zhang Cai even more, and the standard of meeting Zhang Cai was as respectful as meeting Liu Jin. Zhang Cai is a beautiful man, but his character is really bad.In his official position, he messed up his old style and practiced bribery. This person is lustful by nature and does everything.Liu Jie, the prefect of Fuzhou, was his stable fellow. Zhang Cai knew that he had a beautiful concubine, so he was promoted to Liu Jiejing and became a Beijing official like Taichang Shaoqing. Then, Zhang Cai entered Liu Jie's mansion to celebrate his promotion: "Old Liu, how do you repay me?" Liu Jie was terrified: "Except for me, everything is your Zhang Gong's property!" Zhang Cai was not polite, and went into Liu Jie's back room, holding his concubine in his hand, and carried it away complacently.Soon, he heard that Zhang Shu, the magistrate of Pingyang, had a beautiful concubine, so he asked for it.Zhang Shu does not agree with him.Zhang Cai was angry, and planned to send a censor to falsely accuse Zhang Shu of being guilty, and planned to arrest him.Zhang Shu was afraid when he heard the news, so he had to sacrifice his concubine to avoid disaster. Although Zhang Cai is lustful and loves money, she does her best for her master Liu Jin and has made many ideas to buy people's hearts.Seeing foreign officials offering huge bribes to Liu Jin one after another, he said privately to his father-in-law: "These people scour the local people for small people, and then give you only one-tenth of it, but all the grievances of the world belong to you, and they should be severely punished." Some people in the world to show the world!" Liu Jin claimed to be kind, and for a while he launched a campaign to "anti-corruption" and "anti-bribery". As a result, many local officials who gave bribes were offended and imprisoned. For a period of time, the people of the time were greatly deceived because of this, thinking that Zhang Cai could guide Liu Jin to do good. In July of the third year of Zhengde (1508), when Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty went to court, he discovered that someone had sent an anonymous letter to the court while the ministers were worshiping.Emperor Wuzong had sharp eyes and ordered someone to pick it up and read it carefully. It was all the content of suing Liu Jin for illegal intercession. The adolescent Emperor Wuzong had a very serious rebellious mentality. He took the anonymous letter viciously in front of all the officials and said, "I don't use the good people you call! I definitely use the bad people you call!" Liu Jin was even angrier. He drove all the more than 300 ministers who were in the court that day to outside the Fengtian Gate, and asked them to kneel eastward for punishment. All the ministers knelt for a day, and four of them died on the spot due to thirst. The eunuch Li Rong couldn't bear to see the courtiers kneeling in the cruel department, and sent his servants to throw frozen watermelons into the crowd to quench their thirst when Liu Jin was away. Liu Jin hated it when he saw it. The eunuch Huang Wei was also very indignant, and shouted loudly: "What is written in the anonymous letter is for the benefit of the country and the people. If a man does something, he should be responsible for it. It is useless to tire others!" He was expelled from the palace and dismissed from office. In the end, Liu Jin was going to send all the ministers who were present that day to prison for interrogation. After Li Dongyang persuaded him, and his cronies reported that the anonymous letter was sent by someone inside the eunuch, Liu Jincai "forgive" the officials once. In addition to the East Factory, West Factory, and Shenji Camp managed by his old colleagues, Liu Jin also set up an "expert factory" which he personally supervised. This "professional factory" has the greatest power and is the "king of kings" of spies. Often the middleman uses subtle methods, and the person and family who are "worried" basically cannot live for a few days. Not only ordinary people can monitor, but even the spies and spy leaders of the factory guards are also included in the reconnaissance. That is to say, Liu Jin is not at ease with his "old colleagues", and keeps strengthening surveillance on these same kind, lest they will not be of the same mind as him. In the fourth year of Zhengde, Liu Jin's capable confidant Jiao Fang retired.Liu Jin was then promoted to his confidant Liu Yu, who was appointed as the Prince Taifu and a scholar of Wenyuan Pavilion by the Minister of the Ministry of Officials, and joined the cabinet to handle affairs; Zhang Cai, the left servant of the Ministry of Officials, was moved to be the Minister of the Ministry of Officials. They are all Liu Jin's henchmen.Jiao Fang, who has been in the cabinet for several years, has helped Liu Jin mess up the country, turned it into a law, and poisoned the gentry. He is a very evil person.Every time he pays homage to Liu Jin, he always calls Eunuch Liu "Thousands" and calls himself "under the door".Reading the memorials in the pavilion, Jiao Fang obeyed Liu Gonggong's words and was a real eunuch slave. When all the officials offered bribes to Liu Jin, they first gave Jiao Fang a big gift. His son, Jiao Huangzhong, was arrogant and ignorant of academics, so he took part in the imperial examination, thinking that he would be number one.Li Dongyang and others were equal and listed him as the top two. Jiao's father and son resented their grievances, and went to find Liu Jin alone. But when Liu Jin also had "justice", she saw Jiao Fang scolding Li Dongyang every day, so she said to him: "Your son wrote poems in my house one day. He was very clumsy. Why do you always hate Li Dongyang for not taking him first!" Jiao Fang didn't dare to say any more. In the future, Lao Jiao and Zhang Cai had a rift, which aroused Liu Jin's anger and publicly reprimanded Jiao Fang and his son several times, so he had to retire to avoid disaster.Fortunately, Jiao Fang was out early, and Liu Jin was not implicated in a felony after the defeat, so she got a good death. In addition to grasping power in the capital, Liu Jin also caused troubles in the local area.He repeatedly ordered people to search the treasuries of the military and civilians all over the world, and ordered all the property left in the place to be sent to the capital by force. The savings of counties and counties were vacant; at the same time, he issued a death order to officials from other places who came to Beijing for pilgrimage. Every time the chief secretary entered the court, he must donate 20,000 taels of silver; All servants were expelled (there was no "temporary residence permit" at the time); widows across the country were ordered to marry, and those in the family who died and were not buried in time were immediately burned...etc.There are many, the world resents. If you are full, you will lose.Liu Jin's defeat had both internal and external causes. The internal cause is the internal strife among the eunuch groups, and the external cause is the rebellion of Anhua Wang Zhu Chenhao. In May of the fifth year of Zhengde (1510), Anhua King Zhu Yufen rebelled. The prince's rebellion, of course, must have a name. The banner he played was "the Qing emperor's side", and the proclamation listed 17 Liu Jin's "big crimes".Of course, this king of Anhua's "side of the Qing emperor" is false, and it is his original intention to be the emperor, but all the crimes written by Liu Jin in the proclamation are true. Liu Jin was terrified, and immediately arranged for his subordinates to never allow Ming Wuzong to see this statement. At the same time, he dispatched troops to suppress the prince's rebellion. After much deliberation, Liu Jin couldn't make up his mind about this kind of military affairs. Finally, under the advice of the cabinet ministers and others, he appointed the capital censor Yang Yiqing as the admiral, and the eunuch Zhang Yong as the governor, and sent tens of thousands of powerful troops to conquer. Liu Jin kept secrets, and Yang Yiqing and Zhang Yongjun had a big quarrel with him. Although Liu Jin hurriedly sent his confidant Chen Zhen to the front line as the servant of the military department and the censor of the capital, he wanted to "control the matter", but An Hua Wang's rebellion was over within 18 days, so Liu Jin and Chen Zhen couldn't be credited with the credit, but Zhang Yong and Yang Yiqing won the jackpot. Here, let me explain the festivities between Liu Jin, Zhang Yong, and Yang Yiqing. Zhang Yong, from Baoding, was originally a buddy with Liu Jintie, both of whom were leaders of the "Eight Tigers".After Ming Wuzong succeeded to the throne, Zhang Yong took charge of Shenjiying. He cooperated with Liu Jin to push Wang Yue, the eunuch of rites, and Liu Jian, the imperial scholar, out of the imperial court. Benefits are eternal, but friendship is not. After Liu Jin came to power, he did a lot of evil, but he always liked to use his old best friend to show "fairness".Zhang Yong was annoyed beyond words.Liu Jin advised Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty to send Zhang Yong to Nanjing for downgrade. If it was someone else, even if he was a bachelor, he would have to resign himself to fate and consider himself unlucky, but Zhang Yong did not.He himself is the chief eunuch of the inner court, and he can see the emperor whenever he wants. After hearing about this, Zhang Yong ran directly to Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, crying and complaining that Liu Jin had framed him.Ming Wuzong invited Liu Jin to confront him. Before he could speak, Zhang Yong rushed forward and punched Liu Jin face to face, sitting the arrogant Eunuch Liu in meditation on the ground. For Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, Eunuch Liu and Eunuch Zhang were old playmates when he was the prince in the East Palace. Their palms and backs were full of flesh, and they couldn't bear to deal with anyone. So the emperor acted as a peacemaker, and asked another favored eunuch Gu Dayong to be his host, and invited the two to make peace. The eunuch has the same temperament as Lin Daiyu, toasting to each other on the surface, but the grievances in his heart are deepening. As for Yang Yiqing, in the third year of Zhengde when he was the censor of the three sides of the general system, he was arrested by Liu Jin and sent to prison. In fact, he did not offend Liu Jin directly, but because Eunuch Liu was annoyed that he did not give gifts to him, and did not show loyalty to himself, he falsely accused Yang Yiqing of "recklessly breaking the border fee" (Yang Yiqing once suggested that the three-year-old Liu Jin in the area from Yansui to Hengcheng The "Great Wall" was built for a hundred miles, and the Ming court agreed to allocate 100,000 taels of silver to build it), and he was arrested in Jinyi Prison.Fortunately, Li Dongyang, a bachelor, and others persuaded him, saying that Yang Yiqing had "great talent and high expectations" and that punishing the crime would have "bad influence", so Liu Jin let him go, but still ordered Yang Yiqing to resign and send him home. This time Lao Yang was reappointed, mainly because he was familiar with border affairs and wars. Before Zhang Yong and Yang Yiqing left, Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, dressed in military uniform, sent them to Donghua Gate on horseback.Liu Jin on the side was jealous and angry, but there was nothing he could do. Liu Jin originally wanted to frame Zhang Yong while he was away, but Ming Wuzong was relying on him to put down the rebellion, so he couldn't say anything. As for the king of Anhua, Zhu Yifu, the great-grandson of King Qingjing, heir to the throne in the fifth year of Hongzhi. He is in the northwest, the sky is high and the emperor is far away, and there are many sycophants around him, and he has always harbored a heart of disobedience.
