I tell my students that we must follow these four points of Old Master Zhang when we study. In fact, sometimes I am not sure. How many people can listen to it, but I feel that if even one child in a class can listen to it, I will not say it in vain.”

Zhang Zi's "Four Sentence Teachings" is a spiritual palace that Chinese scholars may not be able to come to but never forget.The first time I heard this "four-sentence teaching" was in a history class at the High School Attached to East China Normal University more than 20 years ago.My mentor Mr. Hao Lingsheng's cadenced recitation still echoes in my ears, infiltrating, and of course affecting my life.
