Chinese poems and songs 刘耕路 404Words 2018-03-20
Songs are songs of praise, which are songs used by kings and princes for sacrifices and important ceremonies. The hymns are divided into three parts: 31 poems of "Zhou Song", which are dedicated to the emperor of Zhou; four poems of "Lu Song", dedicated to the princes of Lu State; Because the Song State was a vassal state established by the Shang nation after King Wu destroyed the Shang, it is called Shang Song.Odes are the temple lyrics of rulers, so they are all dull and straight, with little poetic flavor. They are the part with the lowest literary value in Chinese, but they have historical value.

It was called "Poetry" in the pre-Qin period, and Confucius called it "Three Hundred Poems", and there is no title of "Classic".It was not called until the Han Dynasty "respecting only Confucianism", and became one of the sacred classics of feudal society, and had a lofty status in feudal society culture. After the Sui Dynasty, the imperial examination system was established as one of the content of the examination. Scholars have studied it carefully and are very familiar with it.It established the tradition of realism in Chinese poetry, and later poets of all dynasties have consciously learned the spirit of allegory and sarcasm, advocated the use of poetry to intervene in politics, and opposed art for art's sake, making their poems of immortal value. Many of the words in the poem are still used today, such as "the goodness of the harp", "the magpie's nest and the dove", "experience and ponder", "the joy of housewarming", "cautiously", "return to the plum", etc., which shows the far-reaching influence.
