In the settlements of ethnic groups such as Mongolia and Kazakhs in Xinjiang, a kind of movable housing is still popular. This is a yurt built to adapt to nomadic life. Because the Mongolians use it the most, it is commonly called a yurt. The plane of this kind of felt bag is circular, the inside is made of wooden strips to form a frame, and the outside is covered with wool felt. It has a diameter of four to six meters and a height of two meters. There is also a round skylight on the top for lighting and ventilation (Figure 27). .The yurt is easy to disassemble and install. The yurt, the frame, and the production and daily necessities of the herdsmen can be carried on the back of a horse to travel with the owner. Its appearance is simple and plain, and inside it is often covered with carpets and tapestries in bright colors. On the vast prairie, at the foot of the lush Tianshan Mountains, there are groups of gray and white yurts in threes and fours. In a natural green environment, the image is very eye-catching.
