Chapter 119 Jinse/Li Shangyin

Also talk about the poem first. The title of this poem is "Jinse". The whole poem is not about Jinse, but only the first two characters as the title, which is actually "untitled". Condition. This poem has always been regarded as one of the more difficult poems of Li Shangyin. The words and sentences are not difficult to understand, what is difficult to understand is what he wants to say, or why he does it.There have always been theories of love, death, self-injury, political implication, etc., but none of them seem appropriate. It is probably a sentimental work of the poet recalling the past in his later years.

The poem started with Jinse, but it was just because the poet was about fifty years old when he wrote this poem, and it was just for the convenience of narration in the next sentence "one string and one pillar thinks about the Chinese New Year". "Jinse" is a stringed instrument in ancient times, with fifty strings at the earliest. It is said that when the Yellow Emperor listened to Su Nu playing, he felt that the sound was too sad and broke into twenty-five strings. However, when poets write, they often don't necessarily follow the facts completely. Xin Qiji's "Pozhenzi: Composing Strong Poems for Chen Tongfu" also said that "fifty strings turn the sound outside the Great Wall".

"Sihua Nian" is to recall the beautiful years when I was young. There are four legends used in the couplets on the jaw and the neck. "Zhuang Shengxiao dreamed of butterflies" is a famous fable of Zhuangzi. "Zhuangzi·Qiwulun" said that Zhuangzi dreamed that he became a butterfly, so he really thought he was a butterfly. After waking up, I don't know if the butterfly is in my dream, or if I am in the butterfly's dream. "Wangdi Chunxin entrusts the cuckoo" is the legend of Du Yu, the founding king of Shu.It is said that Du Yu, also known as Emperor Wang, later became a cuckoo bird, but his heart was attached to his homeland, and he often flew back in spring to sing in the fields, urging people to plow in spring. These two stories represent the unpredictable changes in the world, and the beautiful ideals turned into dreams. "The bright moon in the sea has tears." It is said that the tears of the sharks in the sea will turn into pearls. "Lantian Rinuanyu smokes", Lantian is a place name, in the southeast of Lantian County, Shaanxi Province, it is a famous place for producing jade. It is said that under the sun, the luster of beautiful jade is like haze. These two sentences are beautiful, but the meaning of the poet is just to explain that the past, like bubbles and haze, has been disillusioned and can no longer be pursued.

Taillink is a bit of a pain. This kind of feeling does not have to wait until today when I come to recall it. In fact, at that time, that is, when I was on the scene, I already felt at a loss.
