Chapter 1 we even lost

We even lost the twilight. no one sees us holding hands tonight And the blue night falls on the world. i see from the window The grand event of the sunset on the mountains in the distance. sometimes a patch of sun Like a coin burning in my hand. I remember you, my heart clenches In the sadness you know. where were you then Who else is there? What did you say? Why did the whole love suddenly come When I'm sad, feel you far away? I dropped the book that was always open in the twilight My shawl is rolled up at my feet like a wounded dog. Forever, forever, you recede into the night

Where twilight erases statues. Translated by Wang Yangle
