words Not so long ago I thought, "I'm afraid my dear will not understand what i did or will do In this blind, bitter land. " And I grow weary of the sun Until my mind is clear again, remember the best i did is the effort to keep things simple; During those years, I cried again and again: "Finally my darling understands all this For I have entered into my strength, And the word obeyed my call”; if she did that who could say What will be sifted through the sieve? I might throw the poor words away And be content to live. (Translated by Wang Jiaxin)
