O deep sea!The age is your wave;
O sea of time, full of deep sorrow,
How salty you are with the brine of tears!
Your waves are boundless, on your waters
The tides alternate, that is the limit of life!
You are weary of feeding, yet still growling,
Spit broken ships on the pitiless shore;
You are treacherous in calm, terrible in stormy times,

On your unfathomable ocean.
