Chapter 19 "Sea Rhyme"
"Sea Rhyme"
one
"Lady, single lady,
why do you miss
The beach at dusk? ——
Girl, come home, girl! "
"Oh no; I won't go home,
I love the evening wind:"—
On the sand, in the twilight,
There's a radiant girl—
wandering, wandering.
two
"Lady, lass who radiates,
why are you hesitant
On this deserted sea?
Girl, come home, girl! "
"Oh no; hear me sing,
Sea, I sing, you come and:"—
Under the starlight, in the cool breeze,
Swaying the voiceless voice of a girl——
High chants, low oh.
three
"Lady, bold girl!
There was a shady scene that day,
In an instant, there was a bad storm——
Girl, come home, girl! "
"Oh no; look at me dancing in the air,
Like a seagull without waves:"——
In the night, on the beach,
A slender figure whirled around—
Whirling, whirling.
Four
"Listen, the wrath of the sea,
Go home, girl!
Behold, the wild beasts of the sea,
Girl, come home, girl! "
"Oh no; Hai Bo won't swallow me,
I love the bumps of the sea! "
In the sound of the tide, in the waves,
Ah, a flustered maiden in the foam,
Wasted, wasted.
Fives
"Where is girl, girl?
Where is your loud singing voice?
Where is your slim figure?
Where, oh brave lady? "
The night engulfs the stars,
The sea has no more light;
The tide swallowed the sand,
No more girls on the beach,—
No more girls!
