Enter Salarino and Salagno. Salarino, my friend, I saw Bassanio sail, and Graciano go back with him; I believe Lorenzo is not in their boat. The wicked Jew of Salainio yelled at the duke, who had followed him to search for Bassanio's ship. Salarino was one step late, and the boat had already left. But the duke was told that they had seen Lorenzo and his amorous Jessica in a gondola; and Antonio proved to the duke that they were not in Bassanio's boat. The jewish dog of Salaenio went mad and changed his appearance, barking and jumping all the way in the street, shouting, "My daughter! O my money! O my daughter! I ran away with a Christian." La! O my Christian money! Justice! O law! My money, my daughter! My daughter stole a sealed bag, and two sealed bags! And jewels! Two jewels, two precious jewels, have been stolen by my daughter! Justice! Find the girl! She has the jewels with her, and the money."

All the little children in the Venetian city of Salarino followed him, calling: O his gems, O his daughters, O his money. Salainio Antonio should see that the debt is not overdue, or he will take revenge on him. Salarino is right, you remember well.I was talking to a Frenchman yesterday, and he told me that in the narrow sea between England and France, there was an accident on a ship full of cargo from our country. As soon as I heard that, I thought of Antonio, and I wished the ship wasn't his. Salainio You'd better tell Antonio what you've heard; But tell him lightly, lest he be troubled.

Salarino There is not a more benevolent gentleman in the world.I saw Bassanio parting with Antonio, and Bassanio told him he would return as soon as possible, to which he replied, "No, Bassanio, don't delay your work for my sake, wait until everything is well done. Come back later; as for the covenant I signed with the Jew, you don't have to worry about it, just be merry and do your good work wholeheartedly, and use all your energy to win the favor of the beauty." At this point, tears welling up in his eyes, he turned away, and, putting his hand behind his back, pressed Bassanio's hand affectionately; and so they parted.

Salainio I think he only loves the world for his sake.Let's go to him now and think of some happy things to relieve his worries, don't you think so? Salarino is very good. (same below.)
