Chapter 1 Prologue A militaristic "Spiritual Song"

Around 1960, there was a trend of re-evaluating Kita Ikki in the Japanese right-wing ideological circles.Articles and works that reversed the verdict for Kita Ikki and praised him appeared one after another.By the second half of the 1960s and the early 1970s, a kind of "North Yihui fever" had formed. In this countercurrent of reactionary thought, Seicho Matsumoto, who was praised as a "socialist mystery writer" and advertised as "progressive", also published "The Death of Kita Ikki" in May 1972. Such a poisonous weed script for Bei Yihui's soul. Who is Bei Yihui? He is the leader of Japanese fascism and an extreme militarist. He was born in Niigata Prefecture, Japan in 1883, and his father was a wine merchant. After graduating from middle school, his father ran the nautical business. In 1905, due to the decline of his family, he moved to Tokyo. From then on, Kita Ikki spared no effort to serve the Japanese militarism's policy of aggression and war throughout his life.In 1906, he published "National System and Pure Socialism" at his own expense. Under the beautiful guise of "pure socialism", he brazenly sold the philosophy of the jungle adapting to the needs of Japanese imperialism. After 1911, in order to realize the arrogant ambition of the "Great Japanese Empire" and "Eight Horns", he pretended to sympathize with and help the Chinese revolution. In 1916, he wrote a book "The Foreign History of the Chinese Revolution", which even advocated that "China's republic should take the form of military dictatorship" and openly clamored that "Japan and the United States form an alliance and use American capital and Japanese force" to invade China. .In 1919, he concocted the "Outline of the Japanese Reform Act" in Shanghai. As soon as this book came out, it immediately became the center of Japanese fascist thought, and was regarded as the "sacred scripture" and "guideline" of the fascist movement. In 1920, Kita Ikki collaborated with another fascist leader, Okawa Shumei, to organize the emperor system fascist group Yucunsha. In 1923, together with Nishida Shui, a retired army officer, he incited among the soldiers.Later, the Tianjian Party was organized in the army, and the Wangshihui was organized in the navy.Around 1930, it became more and more powerful and gained the support of many young military officers. It also colluded with the Zaibatsu and obtained huge political funds from the Mitsui Zaibatsu. In 1936, on the eve of the war of aggression against China, in order to break Japan's domestic and foreign difficulties and accelerate the pace of aggression, some fascist soldiers in the army launched the notorious "February 26 coup" in an attempt to establish a military fascist system. Ikki is the mastermind and leader of this coup. For instigating this dog-eat-dog fight, he was executed by the War Department in 1937, thus ending his life.

Kita Ikki committed heinous crimes against the Chinese people and Asian people, including the Japanese people. He is the sworn enemy of the Chinese people and the Asian people! However, for such a fascist devil who deserves no guilt, Matsumoto Seicho thinks: "Thirty-seven years after Kita Ikki was executed, his true face has not been grasped." That is to say, he disagrees with Kita Ikki Treat it as an extreme fascist, so he wrote such a script to reverse the case for Kita Ikki.In his writing, Kita Ikki seemed to be a revolutionary who opposed aggression, was full of concern for the country, and dedicated his life to the cause of the Japanese revolution.

Let's look at the author's painstaking design for Bei Yihui at the beginning of the script: He came to China to participate in the Revolution of 1911, and now, for the "revolution of the motherland Japan", he is about to board a ship and return home. Before leaving, my heart was ups and downs, and I was full of emotions.Especially with the mood of "hoping for Japan-China cooperation", he feels "resentful" at Japan's China policy. On the way back to the east, the lonely boat in the moon sea, the sound of white gulls, how "bleak" his state of mind is!Since then, the script has used various methods to exaggerate his "Bodhisattva" appearance with "kind face and kind heart".In the seventeen years since he returned to China, he has always yearned for China and missed those "old friends", making people feel that he is really a "kind-hearted" gentleman who "doesn't forget" China.

Even if the playwright alters it arbitrarily, it can never conceal the iron historical facts.Whether Bei Yihui is talking about friendship or aggression to the Chinese people can be seen at a glance just by opening his so-called "Reform Act".Japan wants to "ensure China's security" and China "has no way to stand on its own without Japan's support, guidance, and support" and so on. Rumors of invading China abound. This militarist's desire to covet China's beautiful mountains and rivers is really clear.Bei Yihui sneaked into China twice, it can be said that he has done bad things. Not only did he wantonly distort the Revolution of 1911 and slander Sun Yat-sen in "The Foreign History of the Chinese Revolution", but he also conspired to kill Sun Yat-sen during his stay in China. He claimed to be a sympathizer and participant of the Revolution of 1911, but he was actually a "foreign traitor" hidden in the Chinese bourgeois revolutionary camp! The vicious look of Bei Yihui as an enemy of the Chinese people can be seen even from the script. The May 4th Movement was a revolutionary movement in which the awakened Chinese people thoroughly opposed imperialism and feudalism. The Chinese people demanded the cancellation of the "Twenty-One" agreement between Japan and Yuan Shikai, and the recovery of the Shandong Peninsula taken by Japan was completely just. However, Ikki felt "depressed" about the "anti-Japanese storm that spread to the whole of China", and felt "contradictory" about the Chinese people's "hating Japan" and "shouting anti-Japanese war". What is Kita Ikki's position? Is it an enemy or a friend of the Chinese people? , isn't it clear? No matter how the author pays for him, Kita Ikki is Kita Ikki after all. He is no different from Okawa Shuaki, the fascist leader who once planned the "September 18th Incident". Poison melon on fascist poison ivy.Bei Yihui's "resentment" when he left China with his tail between his legs was, to put it bluntly, nothing more than his fear and hatred for the Chinese people who opposed Japanese imperialism; his "yearning" for China after returning to Japan was actually just a delusion to make a comeback It's just wolfish ambition.

When Bei Yihui was involved in the Chinese revolution, he had some contacts with Song Jiaoren.Song Jiaoren was one of the early bourgeois revolutionaries in our country. He wrote many political articles, exposing imperialist aggression and criticizing the reactionary rule of the Qing Dynasty. But he had illusions about party politics and parliamentary politics in capitalist countries. He advocated that the Congress should adopt a responsible cabinet organized by the majority party in an attempt to split Yuan Shikai's power.Yuan Shikai was a counter-revolutionary careerist who opposed the people. He wanted to implement a military dictatorship. On the eve of the convening of the National Congress, in March 1913, he sent murderers to stab Song Jiaoren to death. After he was assassinated, in order to achieve the purpose of sowing dissension, Bei Yihui slandered him bloodily, saying that he was the murderer of Sun Yat-sen.And Seicho Matsumoto repeated this shameless anti-historical lie with ulterior motives in his reactionary script.

This reactionary script also dresses Kita Ikki as a hero who is full of "worries about the country" and will dedicate his life to the cause of the Japanese revolution.Let him talk about moving words such as "building the country" and "reforming the country"; describing him as "dedicating himself to the great cause of managing the country" means that even when he is about to die, he still worries about Japan's "future." How about it”; he said that he was “very sympathetic” for being killed because of his “innocent heart”, and even pretended to be another character to say that he was a “complete socialist revolutionist”, “ People who will be indispensable in building the country in the future."

The script also deliberately praised Kita Ikki's fascist work "Reform Act", trying to give it a "revolutionary" crown, saying that his "Reform Act" was "epoch-making" and that celebrities in the world "all did it." Wow", later generations will "never surpass it" and so on.All these lies also need to be exposed by historical facts. The era in which Kita Ikki lived was in the historical period when Japanese militarism was viciously developing, and the war of aggression against China was launched frantically and was about to fail.If you start from the standpoint of the people, you should resolutely oppose aggressive wars. However, Kita Ikki is on the contrary. He blatantly clamored in the "Reform Act": "With the growth of Japan's population, Japan's territory will inevitably be tense in a hundred years, and it is required to find territory." Asianism to form a world federation".That is to say, this militarist not only wants to wield a butcher's knife to dominate Asia, but also wants to "rule the world".In Japan, Kita Ikki advocated the elimination of "class struggle".The plan he proposed was to reform the country led by soldiers, stipulate that each private property should be "limited" to less than one million yuan, and private capital should be "limited" to less than ten million yuan (according to the currency value at that time, this was equivalent to the Japan's big bourgeoisie fully guaranteed).Under the premise of not touching capitalism, the conspiracy internally oppressed and exploited the Japanese people and incited militaristic fanaticism; externally, it carried out aggression and expansion to China and Asia, making Japan the "leader of the world alliance."It is not difficult to see that the core of Kita Ikki's thinking is aggression and war. The "Reform Act" was made for aggression and war, "reform the country" for aggression and war, and the "February 26 coup" was planned for aggression and war. "For aggression and war" has never left his mind.Because of this, his "Reform Act" became the theoretical basis for Japan to establish a fascist dictatorship.Kita Ikki's utterly reactionary fascist ideology played an extremely bad role in inciting Japan to continuously launch wars of aggression and advance towards the fantasy dream of the "overlord" in the East. The script bragged about the "Reform Act", but it accidentally leaked the secret. Isn't the eulogy of "belief" on the left and "resonance" on the right in the play a true portrayal of Bei Yihui's disaster for the country and the people?Back then, Japan, under the incitement and instigation of fascist "thinkers" like Kita Ikki, resorted to militarism every year, killed and fought every year, causing serious disasters to the Chinese people and Asian people, and also plunged the Japanese people into misery the abyss?May I ask, what kind of "country" is Bei Yihui "worrying" about, and what "body" is "presenting"?What he worries about is the kingdom of the emperor, and what he sacrifices is the body of a fascist. He is not an "indispensable person" in Japan at all, but the bane of the Japanese nation. The reactionary script gave Bei Yihui, a clown who moved against the laws of historical development, a layer of "socialist revolutionary" cloak, and put a "revolutionary" crown on his "Reform Act". The rampant provocations and vicious attacks of ideology. At the same time, this just shows that fascists who want to oppose socialism often pretend to be "socialists" first.

Matsumoto Kiyosho's reactionary script set up monuments for Kita Ikki and raised flags to call out the soul, which is not enough. It also went on to incite militaristic fanaticism and desperately sell the gangster logic that "aggression is justified". Such a scene appeared in the script: the lights dimmed, and the stage atmosphere became "solemn" and "serious".The militarist Okawa Zhouming howled wildly: "The Chinese also suffer from the aggression of the whites", and Japan "will not hesitate to launch a war to liberate Asia"; Japan is the "leader" of Asia, and its eyes should "see From a foreign perspective”, “Liberate Asia and build a real royal paradise”.In today's world, where the main tendency is revolution, the apologists of imperialism also feel that it is no longer so fashionable to freely publicize their "aggression scriptures", but they have bones in their throats and cannot help but vomit. The script makes a person who seems to be a contrast to Kita Ikki, but the root of his thought is actually exactly the same as Kita Ikki's, to make a noise, which is really wonderful! This "aggression is justified" sleepwalking in the script is nothing new, and the Chinese people have learned it a long time ago.Wherever the land is occupied by Japanese imperialism, it is called "liberation"; where the Japanese aggressors burned, killed, raped and looted, it is called "the paradise of kingship". Only robbers can think of this logic.

In order to incite the fanaticism of militarism, the script desperately promoted the reactionary ideas of "the emperor is supreme" and "loyalty to the emperor and patriotism".The script also created a group of "loyal and patriotic" clowns, praising their "Bushido" spirit of being "the supreme one". We should pay special attention to the large number of descriptions in the script about the "February 26 Coup".Historical experience tells us that Japanese militarism is accustomed to using such fascist methods to incite militaristic hysteria and accelerate the pace of aggression. This kind of incident has happened many times in Japan's modern history. In 1930, a group of fascists in the Japanese military department formed the Yinghui in the name of "reforming the country." In March of the following year, they and right-wing politicians planned a coup.Although this coup was not realized, the "September 18th Incident" was brazenly launched six months later. The "February 26 Coup" was carried out in 1936, and a full-scale war of aggression against China was launched in July of the following year.It is precisely because this fascist coup played a "clockwork" role in the invasion of China, so the script poured all its admiration, affirmation and praise for it.Please see: A military officer who participated in the coup d'etat claimed that he sympathized with the working people who suffered from the economic crisis in the 1930s and the landlord bourgeoisie; , the "military song" of "Yoshino's Flower Blows the Storm"; At the end of the book, in the sound of reciting Buddhist scriptures, the souls of fascist militarists are evoked. Now a small group of members of the "Qinglanhui" in Japan, whose main purpose is to oppose Huawei, are making noise: Incidents such as "February 26" may be hidden in front of our eyes, and the "Qinglanhui" will fulfill their own ideas according to their own ideas. Responsibility; "Don't forget the courage of 'February 26'".How closely the script fits with the clamor of members of the "Qinglan Club"!

The great leader Chairman Mao pointed out: "In today's world, all culture or literature and art belong to a certain class and belong to a certain political line." After the war, there have always been remnants of militarism in Japan. Since the 1960s, they have stepped up Activities, a large number of articles praising the war of aggression and reversing the crimes of pre-war militarism were concocted, and the counter-revolutionary public opinion was revived for the revival of militarism. The militarist Yukio Mishima was the one who praised the "February 26 Coup", and Seicho Matsumoto, who claimed to use "new perspectives" to write the script, just sang the same tune as those right-wingers.Isn't he also singing the praises of "February 26" and shaping the "February 26" gangsters headed by Bei Yihui into "heroes" and "national souls" one by one?Kita Ikki claimed to be a "pure socialist", and Seicho Matsumoto also praised him on this point.Bei Yihui is just a lackey of monopoly capital, and the lackey has become a hero in the script! The post-war Japanese monopoly capital is characterized by state monopoly capital, which is essentially consistent with the "pure socialism" advocated by Kita Ikki. The image of Kita Ikki created by Seicho Matsumoto and the thought of Kita Ikki he advocated cater to the needs of the current Japanese monopoly bourgeoisie.

Seicho Matsumoto flaunted that he was close to the "left wing" and had a close collusion with Nissho. As soon as the big poisonous weed he concocted came out of the cage, it was immediately performed by a Japanese folk art troupe, directed by Japanese revisionist Tomoyoshi Murayama. It is not surprising that the Miyamoto revisionist clique is so hard-working in peddling the black goods of the fascist Ikki Kita. The traitor Miyamoto and his gang followed the line of class surrender, were obsessed with bourgeois parliamentary politics, and wholeheartedly tried to castrate the theory of proletarian revolution and proletarian dictatorship with the fallacy of "class cooperation". One of the most hyped items in the Reconstruction Act is "the elimination of class struggle".On this crucial point, they and Kita Ikki's propositions lead to the same goal by different routes. It is precisely in order to meet the needs of the reformist policy of "peacefully transforming society" that the Japanese revisionists are currently pursuing, that they shamelessly use the name of writing "historical dramas" to distort the facts of history and pretend to be a heinous fascist Become a "complete socialist revolutionist".Through this script, we also saw how the Miyamoto revisionist clique followed the monopoly bourgeoisie, and how they worked hard to cooperate with their activities to revive militarism. After the war, the broad masses of Japanese people continued to fight for national independence, peace, and democracy. Their ideological awareness was unprecedentedly improved, and they were fighting for it. Together with the people of Asia and the world, they are marching victoriously against the revolutionary storm. The raging flames of the anti-imperialist and anti-revisionist revolutionary struggles of the Japanese people and the people of the world will surely burn a handful of reactionaries, together with Kita Ikki and his like they brought out, to ashes and bury them in the dustbin of history.
