Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
One swears in the morning,
II Swear by the night, when it is still,
3 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor grudged you;
4 The future life is better for you than this life;
5 Your Lord will reward you in the future to please you.
VI Didn't he find you lonely and give you a home?
7 Who found you wandering astray, and led you straight;
Eight found that your family was poor, so that you have enough food and clothing.
9 As for the orphan, do not oppress him;
10 As for the beggar, don't scold him,
- As for the grace your Lord has given you, declare it.
