This chapter is from Mecca, and the whole chapter has a total of twenty verses. Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful O cloaked man! 2 You should pray at night, except for a few hours, Three midnight or a little less, Four or a little more. You should recite, 5 I will give you in solemn words, 6 Awakening at night is more appropriate; satire at night is more correct. 7 You are busy with business during the day, 8 Therefore remember the name of your Lord, and honor him with all your heart. 9 He is the Lord of the East and of the West, and there is none to be worshipped but him, so make him your guardian.

10 Bear with their slander, and withdraw from them gently. 11 You let me deal with those who enjoy their comfort and deny the truth!Be kind to them a little bit! 12 Surely there are heavy fetters and fierce fire with me, 13 There is choking food, and painful punishment. 14 On that day the heavens and the earth and the mountains will shake, and the mountains will become a heap of loose sand. 15 Surely We have sent an angel to teach you, and I testify to you, as I sent an angel to teach Pharaoh. 16 But Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so I punished him severely. 17 If you do not believe, how will you guard against the day when children will turn gray?

Eighteen days will be broken on that day, and the promise of Allah is to be fulfilled. 19. This is indeed a lesson.Whoever wants to be enlightened can choose a path to the Lord. 20 Your Lord does know that your prayers are not two-thirds, or one-half, or one-third of the night. There are a group of people in your class who do the same.Allah has ordained the length of the night and the day, and He knows that you cannot count it, so forgive you.You should recite simple [words].He knows that there will be some of you who are sick, and many others, who will travel to seek the favor of Allah, or fight for Allah, so you should recite the simple [words] of it.You should observe the prayers, pay the zakat, and lend good debts to Allah.Whatever good you do for yourselves will be rewarded better and greater by Allah. You should seek forgiveness from Allah, for Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
