This chapter is from Mecca, and it has thirty verses in total. Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. Alief, Liangmu, Mimu. 2 (This) is the scripture which came down from the Lord of the whole world, and there is no doubt in it. III They said, "Did he make it up?" No!It is the truth that came down from your Lord, that you might warn a multitude that had no warner before you, that they might follow the right way. 4 You have no guardian or intercessor but him who created the heavens and the earth and everything in six days, and then ascended to the throne. Why do you not remember?

5 He rules over things from heaven to earth, and then they ascend to him in one day, and the length of that day is a thousand years, which you reckon. 6 That is the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-merciful Lord. VII He refines all his creations, and from the clay he first created man. 8 Then he created his offspring out of the essence of low water. IX Then made him sound, and breathed his spirit into his body, and created for you ears, eyes, and mind. You rarely thank. 10 They said, "Should we be recreated after we've disappeared underground?" No!They do not believe that they will meet their Lord.

11 You say: "Death, who was appointed to rule over your life, will kill you, and then you will be called back to your Lord." 12. If you see transgressors bow their heads before their Lord and say, "Our Lord! We have seen and heard; turn us back, we shall do good, we are sure." If you see this situation.... 13. If I will, I will give guides to everyone, but the judgment from me is confirmed, I will fill Hell with spirits and humans. 14 Try it!Because you forget today's meeting, I have indeed forgotten you.Try eternal punishment for your deeds. 15 Those who believe in my signs are only those who: when others warn them with my signs, they fall down and kowtow and praise their Lord who is beyond all things. They dare not be arrogant,*

16 They do not get out of bed, they pray to their Lord with fear and hope; they part with what I have given them. 17. No one knows what consolation has been laid up for them in return for their deeds. 18 Are believers the same as rebels? They are not equal. 19. As for those who believe and do good deeds, they will have Paradise as their destination in the future, and that is for their deeds. 20 As for the rebels, their destination is Hell, and whenever they try to escape, they are stopped back.A voice said to them, "Try burning at the stake which you denied before!" 21. Before the greatest punishment, I will make them try the nearest punishment, that they may repent.

22. Who is more righteous than someone who advises him with the signs of the Lord, but he refuses to listen?I must punish those who commit crimes. 23. We did give Moses the Book, so do not hesitate to accept the Book, which I used as a guide for the children of Israel. 24. I took some of them as an example, and when they endured hardship and believed in my signs, they led the people at my command. 25 On the Day of Resurrection, your Lord will judge their disputes. 26 Don't they know? Before them I have destroyed many generations, and they often pass by the land of those who were there, and there are many signs indeed. Why didn't they obey?

27 Don't they know?I drove the rain to the grassless places, and with it brought forth their livestock and the crops they themselves ate. Can't they see it? 28 They said, "When will this judgment be realized? If you are telling the truth." 29. You say, "The unbelievers will gain nothing by believing on the Day of Judgment, and will not receive mercy." 30 You should avoid them, you should wait, they must wait.
