Ask and tell yourself, point out the immeasurable merits of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, gods, humans and holy beings in the Western Paradise, and all kinds of merits and solemn things in the land, to explain the excellence of reciting Buddha's name.

At the beginning of the conference, the Buddha directly proclaimed this unbelievable Dharma to Shariputra, the elder with the most wisdom in the conference.The Buddha said: Going westward from here, after going through as many as ten trillion Buddha worlds (ten trillion three thousand great thousand worlds), there is a Buddha world there, and the name of the world is Ultimate Bliss.The name of the Buddha Lord of the Land of Ultimate Bliss is called Amitabha.Even now, this Amitabha Buddha is still preaching for the public!Shariputra, why is that Buddha country called "Bliss"?Because all living beings in that land do not have all kinds of pain and danger, and only enjoy all kinds of happiness in life and spirit that are not available in other worlds, so it is called "ultimate happiness".In addition, in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, gold, silver, glass, and crystal are used as materials, with exquisite railings, magnificent nets, and neatly arranged rows of trees.These railings, nets and rows of trees present various orderly and wonderful geometric figures, arranged around all the buildings in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, such as pavilions, pavilions, lecture halls, gardens, etc., making these buildings more beautiful and solemn.Furthermore, in the Land of Utmost Bliss, there are treasure pools formed and decorated with the seven treasures of gold, silver, lapis lazuli, crystal, giant clam, red pearl, and agate, filled with water of the eight merits.At the bottom of the pool, the fine sand purely made of gold is softly laid on the bottom of the pool.Around the pool, there are stairs and passages made of gold, silver, glass and crystal.Some of them use gold as the ground, and the other three materials are used as decorations to embellish the stairs and passages; some use crystal as the ground, and the other three materials are used as decorations to embellish the stairs and passages.On the edge of the pool, in the middle of the stairs or passages, there are also pavilions made of seven treasures.They are also decorated with one of the seven treasures as the main material and the others as decorative materials.So it doesn't look dull or messy, everything is so neat and orderly and full of aesthetic value.In the pond, various lotus flowers emerge naturally.These lotus flowers are round and round, very neat.The size of the lotus varies, and the large ones are very large, even reaching tens of miles or more in diameter.The colors of the lotus are also very gorgeous, such as blue, yellow, red, white, etc. The colors emit light of corresponding colors.This kind of lotus is not an ordinary lotus, they have extremely subtle and incredible functions.Their fragrance is the subtle fragrance formed by the immeasurable power of vows and merits of Amitabha Buddha in the Land of Ultimate Bliss; their pure flower body is the subtle and pure flower body formed by the pure Buddha nature of Amitabha Buddha in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.At the same time, it also includes the subtle fragrance and pure flower body created by the saints in the Land of Ultimate Bliss who practiced various merits before and after they were reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.No matter where sentient beings can smell the subtle fragrance of flowers, or see the subtle and pure flower body, the past karma will be eliminated, and the merits of the pure self-nature will be restored and increased.Sheriff!The Land of Ultimate Bliss is solemnly accomplished by so many inconceivable merits.

Also, Shariputra, in the land of Amitabha Buddha, all kinds of wonderful celestial music are played spontaneously from time to time.The land of Paradise is all made of soft, gentle gold.At twelve o'clock (that is, twenty-four hours) every day, the fairy flower called Tianmandala flower will continue to float down from the sky like rain.The celestial beings there often use various flower-growing utensils filled with all kinds of subtle and inconceivable fairy flowers in the early morning, and leave the Land of Ultimate Bliss to make offerings to the ten billion Buddha kingdoms outside. The World Honored One in every Buddha country.Before breakfast, you can complete the merits of making offerings to the Buddhas in ten trillion Buddhalands, return to the Land of Ultimate Bliss, have breakfast, and do homework such as chanting Buddha and circumambulating Buddha.Sheriff!The Land of Ultimate Bliss is solemnly accomplished by so many inconceivable merits.In addition, Shariputra, in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, there are often birds of various wonderful colors, such as white cranes, peacocks, parrots, relics, Kalavinka, and the bird of common life.These wonderful divine birds sing soft and elegant vocal music at twelve o'clock every day.These vocal music are not only very beautiful and pleasant to hear, but they can also endlessly explain various ways of cultivating the Tao, such as the five roots, five powers, seven Bodhi points, eight noble points, etc., and the thirty-seven levels of cultivation.After hearing these beautiful Dharma sounds, the heavenly beings there naturally had faith and urgency in chanting Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.Shariputra, don't misunderstand those birds, just like the Saha world, they get retribution in the animal realm from all kinds of bad karma.no!why?Because there are no hells, hungry ghosts, and animals in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.Shariputra, in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, you can't even hear the names of the three evil realms, let alone the real three evil realms.So what about these birds?It turns out that these birds are all due to the great vow made by Amitabha Buddha: I hope that in his land, the voice of the Dharma will be heard constantly everywhere, and the power of this vow is manifested.Shariputra, in Amitabha Buddha's Land of Ultimate Bliss, there is always a gentle breeze blowing.When the breeze blows, the "trees of the seven treasures" and "the net of the seven treasures" in the Land of Ultimate Bliss will cause the leaves and nets of the trees to rub against each other and make all kinds of extremely elegant and subtle sounds, just right. It is the same as having hundreds of thousands of musical instruments playing in harmony at the same time.All the heavenly beings who heard the beautiful and moving voice of the Dharma naturally had the desire to recite the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha.Sheriff!The Land of Ultimate Bliss is solemnly accomplished by so many inconceivable merits.

Shariputra, how do you think about this question: Why is the Buddha in the Land of Ultimate Bliss called "Amitabha"?Sheriff!That Buddha has immeasurable and boundless pure light.This kind of pure light can illuminate the immeasurable and countless Buddha kingdoms in the ten directions without any obstacle, so it is called Amitabha.In addition, the lifespan of that Buddha, as well as the lifespan of all the gods and humans in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, is as long as the immeasurable and boundless Asangyi Kalpa, which is actually infinitely long, so it is called Amitabha.In addition, Shariputra, ten great kalpas have passed since Amitabha Buddha became a Buddha.Shariputra, that Amitabha Buddha has immeasurable disciples of shravakas, all of whom have attained the status of great arhat.And the number of these shravaka disciples is extremely huge, so large that it cannot be compared with numbers.As for the Bodhisattvas in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, their number is too large to be estimated by numbers.Sheriff!The Land of Ultimate Bliss is solemnly accomplished by so many inconceivable merits.Also, Shariputra, all those who are reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss will all reach the attainment of "non-regression" practice.That is to say, they will never go back to the six realms again, unless they make a vow to go to the six realms to save sentient beings.Even so, they are saints in the six realms, and they will never drift with the tide and lose their true nature in the six realms.Among the heavenly and human beings in this Land of Ultimate Bliss, there are still many great Bodhisattvas who are "replenishment for a lifetime".In other words, they are already candidates for the Buddha position in this life, and when the opportunity is ripe, they can go to a new Buddhist country to become a Buddha and become the Buddha Lord in that Buddhist country.There are countless great Bodhisattvas like this who "make up for one's life" in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, and they cannot be compared with numbers.

Shariputra, no matter which Buddha country (including our Saha world), all sentient beings who have the predestined relationship to hear the above-mentioned various meritorious and solemn events in the Buddha Kingdom of Ultimate Bliss should do so from the bottom of their hearts. Make a vow, make a vow to be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss of the inconceivable Amitabha Buddha.why?It is precisely because they want to meet with those "most benevolent people" in the Land of Ultimate Bliss forever and never be separated!Shariputra, if you want to be reborn in such a good Buddhist country, of course good roots, merit and the karma to be reborn in the West are absolutely indispensable.How can we have these good roots, merit, and karma to be reborn in the West?Shariputra, if there are good men and good women who are predestined to hear the inconceivable name of "Amitabha", they can have pure confidence, think of Amitabha in their hearts, and recite Amitabha in their mouths. Whether it is two days, or three days, or four days, or five days, or six days, or seven days, if one can reach the state of "undisturbed mind", then when this person is about to die, he will rely on this vigor. Reciting Buddha's name achieves the merit of "one mind without confusion". Amitabha Buddha led the great Bodhisattvas and great arhats in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to appear in front of this person in person with the power of his great vows.If, at this critical moment of death, the person is not confused by love, hate, affliction, body is not disturbed by good or bad external environment, and the mind is pure and chant the Buddha, then he can be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss of Amitabha Buddha immediately.Sheriff!It is precisely because I saw that the person who recited the Buddha relied on the inconceivable power of the vow of Amitabha Buddha, and relied on the person’s own deep belief, earnest wish, and self-reliance of reciting the Buddha’s name honestly, to be reborn in this inconceivable Land of Ultimate Bliss. That's why we don't follow the routine at this conference, and promote this incredible method of reciting Buddha in the Pure Land without asking questions!If there are sentient beings who truly have good roots and good fortune, after hearing the merits of the method of reciting the Buddha's name, they should initiate a deep wish and vow to be reborn in this inconceivable Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Shariputra, not only I, Shakyamuni Buddha, now in this Saha world, praise Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha lands for their incredible merits and virtues, but even in the worlds of the ten directions, there are countless Buddha lands as many as Ganges sands, The Buddha Lords of every Buddhist country are also admiring the immeasurable and inconceivable merits of Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha country.Shariputra, in the immeasurable worlds of the East, there are Buddhas, Sumeru Buddhas, Great Sumeru Buddhas, Sumeru Light Buddhas, Wonderful Sound Buddhas, and so on. In the Buddhist kingdom they lead, they use the pure merit of the "broad and long tongue" to make a loud voice, which can spread throughout the entire three thousand great thousand worlds, that is, a place as vast as a Buddhist kingdom.At the same time, the sound is very beautiful, even in a very close place, it is not very loud; even in the farthest place, it is not very quiet, no matter how far or how close, the volume is the same.The Buddha used such pure Sanskrit sounds to praise the inconceivable merits and virtues of Amitabha Buddha and his kingdom of Buddha, and to verify the incredible merits and virtues of Amitabha Buddha and his kingdom of Buddhas.The Buddha said: "All sentient beings in this land of mine! You should firmly believe with pure hearts that Shakyamuni Buddha was in the land of Saha, and was said by all living beings in the Saha world, "The Sutra of Praising Inconceivable Merit and Virtue Protected by All Buddhas" (that is, This Sutra)." Shariputra, in the immeasurable worlds in the south, there are the Sun Moon Lantern Buddha, the Famous Light Buddha, the Great Flame Shoulder Buddha, the Sumeru Lantern Buddha, and the Infinite Vigorous Buddha, etc. The Buddha Lords in the Buddha Kingdom, in the Buddha Kingdom they lead, use the pure merit of the wide and long tongue, and the pure Sanskrit sound with the above merit to praise the incredible merit of Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha Kingdom, to verify the inconceivable merits of Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha Kingdom. The merit is incredible.The Buddha said: "All sentient beings in my land! You should firmly believe in the "Sutra of Praising Incredible Merit and Virtue Protected by All Buddhas" spoken by Sakyamuni Buddha in the land of Saha for all living beings in the Saha world." Shariputra, in the immeasurable worlds of the West there are Buddhas of the Three Thousand Worlds, such as the Buddhas of Infinite Life, Buddhas of Infinite Form, Buddhas of Infinite Banners, Buddhas of Great Light, Buddhas of Great Brightness, Buddhas of Treasures, and Buddhas of Pure Light, and so on. The Buddha Lords here used the pure merit of "broad and long tongue" to praise the inconceivable merits of Amitabha Buddha and his kingdom of Buddha with the pure Sanskrit sound of the above-mentioned virtues, so as to verify the inconceivable merits and virtues of Amitabha Buddha and his kingdom of Buddha. The merit is incredible.The Buddha said: "All sentient beings in my land! You should firmly believe in the "Sutra of Praising Incredible Merit and Virtue Protected by All Buddhas" spoken by Sakyamuni Buddha in the land of Saha for all living beings in the Saha world." Shariputra, in the immeasurable worlds of the north, there are Flaming Shoulder Buddha, Supreme Sound Buddha, Nanju Buddha, Risheng Buddha, Wangming Buddha, etc., the Buddha Lords of the three thousand great thousand worlds, whose number is as much as the sand in the Ganges River. In the Buddhist country under his command, the pure merit of "broad and long tongue" and the pure Sanskrit sound with the above merits are used to praise Amitabha Buddha and the inconceivable merits of Amitabha and his Buddha country to prove the inconceivable merits of Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha country.The Buddha said: "All sentient beings in my land! You should firmly believe in the "Sutra of Praising Incredible Merit and Virtue Protected by All Buddhas" spoken by Sakyamuni Buddha in the land of Saha for all living beings in the Saha world." Shariputra, in the immeasurable worlds below there are the Buddhas of the Three Thousand Worlds, such as Shizi Buddha, Mingwen Buddha, Mingguang Buddha, Dharma Buddha, Dharma Banner Buddha, and Dharma-holding Buddha, as many as the sand in the Ganges River. You should firmly believe in the "Sutra of Praising Incredible Merit and Virtue Protected by All Buddhas" spoken by Sakyamuni Buddha in the land of Saha for all living beings in the Saha world." Shariputra, in the immeasurable world above there are Sanskrit Sound Buddha, Suwang Buddha, Incense Buddha, Fragrance Light Buddha, Great Flame Shoulder Buddha, Variegated Jeweled Flower Yanshen Buddha, Sala Tree King Buddha, Jeweled Buddha, Seeing All Righteousness Buddhas, such as Mount Sumeru Buddha, are as numerous as the sand in the Ganges River. The Buddha Lords in the three thousand great thousand worlds, in the Buddha kingdoms they command, use the pure merit of "wide and long tongue" to fulfill the above merits. The pure Sanskrit sound to praise the inconceivable merits and virtues of Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha kingdom, and to prove the inconceivable merits and virtues of Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha kingdom.The Buddha said: "All sentient beings in my land! You should firmly believe in the "Sutra of Praising Incredible Merit and Virtue Protected by All Buddhas" spoken by Sakyamuni Buddha in the land of Saha for all living beings in the Saha world."

Shariputra, what do you think about this question: Why is the name of this sutra "Sutra Protected by All Buddhas"?Shariputra, if there are good men and good women who, after hearing or seeing this sutra, can believe in this sutra, accept this sutra, often recite this sutra, and often recite the ten praises in this sutra. If the names of the Buddhas in all the Buddha countries in the world of the ten directions are given, then these good men and women will all be protected and remembered by so many Buddhas in the worlds of the ten directions.Relying on the virtues of these Buddhas, relying on the virtues of these good men and women who sincerely believe in this sutra, and often read and recite this sutra, you can reach the supreme enlightenment and Buddha status forever. Regression practice bit.Therefore, Shariputra, all of you in the assembly should firmly believe and accept the words I just said, and you should firmly believe and accept the words spoken by the Buddha Lords in all the Buddha countries in the worlds of the ten directions.Shariputra, if someone, whether he has already made a vow in the past life, or is about to make a vow in the present life, or waits for a while, or even makes a vow after his faith has strengthened in the next life, wants to be reborn in the land of Amitabha Buddha’s Ultimate Bliss If it is true, then these people can all reach the level of practice that never retreats from the Supreme Enlightenment and the Buddhahood.At the same time, due to the victorious (extremely high and rare) cause of making the vow, one will surely get the wonderful (inconceivable) fruit of being reborn in the Western Ultimate Bliss Buddhaland in the past, present, or future lives.Therefore, Shariputra, if these good men and good women have the predestined relationship to hear and see this inconceivable sutra and develop firm beliefs, they should and will definitely make a vow to be reborn in this inconceivable Buddhaland of Ultimate Bliss go.

Shariputra, just as I am now praising and praising the inconceivable merits and virtues of the Buddhas in the immeasurable Buddhalands of the ten directions (referring to the inconceivable merits and virtues of the Buddhas in the ten directions praising the inconceivable merits and virtues of the Western Paradise and its leader Amitabha), the immeasurable Buddhas of the ten directions All the Buddhas in the country are also praising the inconceivable merits and virtues of Buddha Shakyamuni.They said: "Sakyamuni Buddha can do those extremely difficult and extremely rare things. The so-called difficult things can be done, unbearable and tolerant. In this Saha world, the evil world of five turbidities: the turbidity of kalpas, the turbidity of seeing, and the afflictions. In the turbidity, the turbidity of all beings, and the turbidity of life, eliminate all kinds of demonic obstacles and confusion from the heart and the outside world, practice diligently, and finally prove the Buddha's status of supreme enlightenment. After becoming a Buddha, you will be able to show great compassion , Great Bodhicitta, for all living beings in the Saha world, proclaim the most unbelievable Dharma in all the world (referring to the supreme Dharma door of rebirth in the West)." Shariputra, you should know that I am in this Saha world. In the big stained vats and big quagmire of the turbid and evil world, one can use the method of reciting the Buddha's name as the great method of practice, birth, and Buddhahood, and finally realize the supreme enlightenment and become a Buddha. Unbelievable Dafa, how difficult this is!

After Sakyamuni Buddha finished speaking this unbelievable scripture, praising Amitabha Buddha and his Buddha Kingdom’s incredible merits and virtues, and being protected and remembered by all the Buddhas in the immeasurable Buddha Kingdom in the ten directions, he will listen to the Dharma. Shariputra who took the opportunity, and all the great Bodhisattvas, all the great monks and arhats, as well as countless gods and dragons, eight divisions, asuras, human beings and other ghosts and gods who came to listen to the scriptures, in order to be able to hear this supremely subtle, The rare Mahayana scriptures with incredible merits filled my heart with incomparable joy and joy, generated a deep sense of faith, and accepted the scriptures respectfully.After paying homage to the Buddha, each returned to his own place of practice, took this sutra as a course for his own practice, recited it every day, and practiced on the ground according to the principles and methods of practice taught in the sutra.
