Chapter 7 Chapter 6 Kundalini: The Awakening of the Life Force

Meditation: The Art of Ecstasy 奥修 14765Words 2018-03-20
No theoretical knowledge helps meditation, no figurative dissection of kundalini makes sense for meditation.By saying this, I do not mean that there is no such thing as kundalini or chakra centers. The kundalini is there, the chakras are there, but no knowledge is helpful in any sense; instead it hinders, it becomes a hindrance for many reasons. One reason is that any knowledge about kundalini or about the mystical channels of bioenergetic energy, the inner channel of life force, is conceptual, it is different from person to person, the roots are not the same.A has a cause of A, B has a cause of B, and C has a cause of C. Your inner life has an individuality, so what you know by theory doesn't help, it can get in the way because it's not about your.It can't be about you.You will know yourself only when you yourself come into you.

There are chakras, but how many are different from person to person. Some people have 7, some have 9, some have more, some have less. That's why so many different traditions have developed. Buddhists say there are 9 chakras, Hindus say 7, Tibetans say 4 and they are all right! The root of kundalini, the channel through which kundalini passes, also varies from person to person. The deeper you go inside, the more individual you become. For example, in your body, your face is the most individual part; in the face, the eyes are more individual. The face is more alive than the rest of the body, so the face has individuality. You may not have noticed that at a certain age, especially with sexual maturity, your face begins to take on a shape that doesn't change much throughout your life. Before sexual maturity, the face changes a lot, but with sexual maturity, your individuality becomes fixed and does not change, and your face more or less does not change.

The eyes are more alive than the face, and they are so individual that they change every moment.Eyes are never fixed unless one is enlightened.Enlightenment is another kind of maturity. With sexual maturity the face becomes fixed, but another kind of maturity fixes the eyes. You don't see any change in Buddha's eyes: his body grows old, he dies, but his eyes are always the same. This has historically been a marker. When someone attains nirvana, the eyes are the only door through which an outsider can judge whether he has really attained nirvana. Now, the eyes never change, everything changes, but the eyes remain the same. The eyes are the display of the inner world. However, kundalini goes deeper.

Little theoretical knowledge is helpful. When you have a little bit of theory, you start to impose it on yourself, you start to see things as they were taught to you, but things may not fit your personal circumstances. In this way, a lot of confusion arises. One has to feel the chakra, not just know something about it.You have to feel, you have to send the tentacles into yourself. It is beneficial only if you feel your energy centers, kundalini and its channels.Otherwise it is useless. In fact, knowledge is very destructive to the inner world, and the more knowledge you acquire, the less likely you are to feel something authentic and reliable.

You start to impose what you know on yourself. If someone says, "Here is the chakra, here is the center," then you will see the chakra in that place, which may not be there at all. Thus, you create an imaginary energy center. You can create, your mind has this ability. You can create imaginary energy centers and because of your imagination, there will be flow, but that is not kundalini, that is just imagination, it is all a dreamlike phenomenon. Once you can see the center in your imagination and create imaginary kundalini, you can create everything. Then imagined experiences follow, and you develop a completely false world within yourself. The world outside is unreal, but not as unreal as the world you make inside.

What is inside is not necessarily real or actually there, because imagination is also inside, and dreams are also inside. The mind has a faculty, a very powerful faculty to dream, to hallucinate, to project. That is why it is best to be completely unaware of the kundalini center when doing meditation. If you run into them, that's fine. You may slowly start to feel something, and only then can you ask.You may start to feel an energy center operating, but let that come first. You may feel a surge of energy, but let that come first.Don't imagine, don't think about it, don't make any intellectual effort to understand it beforehand. There is no need for any preconceived notions, and far from being necessary, they are certainly harmful.

One more thing: kundalini and chakras do not belong to your body structure, physiological system, kundalini and chakras belong to your subtle body, your subtle body (sukshma sharira), not to this body, This heavy body.Of course, there is a corresponding point there. The chakra is part of your ethereal body, but your physical structure and physiological systems have points corresponding to it.If you feel an inner energy center, only then can you feel the corresponding point.Otherwise, you may dissect the whole body and not find such things as energy centers. All the talk, all the so-called evidence and all the scientific claims about your gross body having kundalini and chakra centers is nonsense, absolute nonsense. There are indeed corresponding points, but you can only feel those points when you feel the real chakra.Dissect your gross body and find nothing.nothing.So the problem is not physical.

One more thing: there is no need to go through chakras one by one. It's not necessary, you can bypass them. There is also no need to feel kundalini before enlightenment. This phenomenon is quite different from what you might think.Kundalini is felt because it is rising, just because you don't have a very clear channel. If the channel is completely open, then energy is flowing without you being able to feel it.You only feel it when something is there to stop its flow. You only feel it when the energy is flowing upwards and there is a blockage in your pathway. So people who feel more about kundalini are actually blocked: there are many obstacles in the passage, so kundalini cannot flow. When there is resistance, kundalini is felt. You cannot feel energy directly unless there is resistance there. If I move my hand without encountering resistance, the movement is not felt.I feel the movement because of the resistance of the air, but it is not as strong as the resistance against the stone, and I feel the movement more when I encounter the stone. And in a vacuum, I can't feel movement at all.So it's relative.

Buddha never talked about kundalini. It's not that there is no kundalini in his body, but because the channel is so open that there is no resistance at all.So he never feels it.Mahavira never talked about Kundalini, so a wrong concept was created. Later, the Jains who believed in Mahavira believed that Kundalini was pure nonsense and there was no such thing .Since then, Jainism has been denying Kundalini for 2500 years, claiming that it does not exist, because Mahavira himself did not feel Kundalini. But Mahavira doesn't talk about it for another reason.Because there is no blockage in his body, he never feels it.

So, you don't have to feel kundalini; you don't have to feel it at all.If you don't feel kundalini, you are bypassing the chakra, because the chakra is only working out of the need to break the block; otherwise, it is not needed. When there is a blockage, when the kundalini is blocked, the nearby energy centers are activated by the blocked kundalini, it becomes dynamic. The chakra will work because of the blocked kundalini, and it will work so fast that a special energy will be created because of the movement, and it will break the block. If the channels are clear, then there is no need for chakras, and you will feel nothing.Really, chakras are there to help you.If kundalini is blocked, there is help nearby.A certain energy center takes over the blocked energy. If energy can't go forward, it goes backwards. Before it recedes, the chakra absorbs the energy completely and the kundalini moves in the chakra. The energy becomes more alive, more alive through movement, and when it comes back to where it was blocked, it can break it.So, this is just an arrangement, a help.

If the kundalini moves without obstruction, then you never feel any chakra. That's why someone feels nine chakras, someone ten, someone only three or four, or one, or none at all. This varies from person to person. In fact, the number of energy centers is infinite.Every time a kundalini takes a step, there is a chakra standing by, and if it needs help, it can help. That's why I insist that theoretical knowledge is not helpful.Meditation like this has nothing to do with kundalini at all.If there is kundalini, that is another matter, but meditation has nothing to do with it.Meditation can be explained without even referring to kundalini, there is no need to mention it.The mention of kundalini, on the other hand, creates conflicts of interpretation.Meditation can be explained directly, you don't have to worry about chakra centers, you just start meditating. If there is a blockage in the passage, you will feel the kundalini, the chakra will be there, but that is completely involuntary, you have to remember that it is involuntary, it does not require your will at all. The deeper the channel, the more involuntary it is.I can move my hands, it's a channel of autonomy. But I can't move my blood.I can try it.Years of training can make people's blood circulation become autonomous, and Hatha Yoga can do this. It's been done, it's not impossible, but it's useless.Practicing for 30 years just to control the flow of blood is stupid and pointless, because this control brings no results.Blood circulation is involuntary and does not require your will. You eat, and once you eat, your will is no longer needed, the mechanics of the body structure have taken over and it will go on doing what is needed.Your sleep is involuntary, your birth is involuntary, and so is your death. These are non-autonomous mechanisms. Kundalini is much deeper, deeper than death, deeper than birth, deeper than blood, because kundalini is the circulation of your second body.Blood is the circulation of your physical body, and kundalini is the circulation of your etheric body, which is absolutely involuntary, and even a hatha yogi can do nothing about it. One has to go into meditation. Then the energy starts to move; what you have to do is to meditate. If you go deeply into meditation, the inner energy starts to rise and you feel a change in flow, and it can be felt in many ways, even physically. For example, in general, having hot feet and a cool head is a sign of health, biologically speaking, it is.On the contrary, if the feet are cold and the head is hot, it means that the person is sick.If the kundalini flows upwards, the same thing happens: the feet become cold. In fact, hot feet are nothing more than a downward flow of sexual energy.Once the life energy, the kundalini, starts flowing upwards, the sexual energy follows and the feet become cool and the head becomes hot. From a biological point of view, it is better for the feet to be warmer than the head; but from Osho's point of view, it is better for the feet to be cooler than the head, because this is a sign of upward flow of energy. After the upward flow of energy, many diseases may arise because the whole biological organism is disturbed.Buddha died very ill, Mahavira died very ill, Raman Maharshi died of cancer, Ramakrishna died of cancer. The reason is that the entire biological system is disrupted. There are also many other reasons given, but they are all nonsense. ①Raman Maharshi (Raman Maharshi, 1879~1950): Hindu philosopher and yogi.Advocates the homogeneity of God and man and the theory of illusion. —— Annotation ② Ramakrishna (RamaKrishna, 1836~1886): Hindu leader. It is asserted that God exists in all truths, and that all religions have the same essence and are all truths. —— Annotation The Jains made up many stories because they could not imagine that Mahavira could be sick.I don't think so.I can't imagine how he can be completely healthy. He cannot be perfectly healthy because this is his last life and the whole biological system has to disintegrate.A system that had lasted for thousands of years had to break down.He couldn't be healthy, and in the end, he had to be seriously ill.And he did get seriously ill.His devotees, however, find it hard to believe that Mahavira could be ill.At the time, there was only one explanation for being sick.If you get some kind of disease, it means his karma, the seeds of your previous life are not good.Mahavira is sick, which means that he is still under the influence of the evil debts owed in the previous life. How did this happen? So an ingenious story was invented: Mahavira's rival, Goshalak, used evil forces against him.But that's not the case at all. The natural flow of life is downward, the spiritual flow is upward. The whole biological organism was created to flow down. You may start to feel many changes in the body, but the earliest changes will appear in the subtle body.Meditation means building a bridge between the gross body and the subtle body. When I say meditation, I just mean if you can jump out of the heavy body, that's what meditation means. But for this jump, you need the help of your heavy body, which you have to use as a stepping stone. You can jump from any pole.Fasting has been used to take people to an extreme. After a long and sustained fast, you will reach the edge. The human body is generally capable of fasting for 90 days, but by then your body is completely depleted and the reserves it has built up for urgent needs are depleted. At this point one of two possibilities will arise: If If you do nothing, death happens; if you use the moment for meditation, jumping happens. If you do nothing and continue fasting, death will happen. That is a suicide.Mahavira was the most profound experimenter with fasting in the history of human evolution, and the only one who allowed his disciples to commit spiritual suicide. He calls it the santhara, the tipping point where both can happen. In an instant, you can die or you can jump.If you use a certain technique, you can jump. So, Mahavira said, that was not a suicide, but a very great spiritual explosion.Only Mahavira has said it, only he has said it.Even suicide can be used for spiritual advancement if you have the courage. You can jump from any critical point.Sufis adopt dance. There is a moment when you dance that feels out of this world. When a true Sufi dances, even the audience feels otherworldly.Through body movement, rhythmic movement, the dancer soon feels that he is not equal to the body, separate from it.You just start moving and soon the body's involuntary mechanisms will take over. You start, but if the end is yours too, that dance is just an ordinary dance. If you start and you end up feeling as if somewhere in the middle the dance is taken over by an involuntary mechanism, then it becomes a Sufi Dervish dance. You move so fast that your body shakes and becomes involuntary. This is the point where you can go crazy or jump. You may go mad because an involuntary mechanism has taken over the movement of your body, it is beyond your control, and there is nothing you can do about it.You could go mad and never get back from this involuntary movement. This is the tipping point where you go crazy, or calm down (if you have mastered the jumping technique). So people keep calling Sufis crazy. They're famous for being lunatics! As usual, they are crazy. There is a sect in Bengal, just like the Sufis, called Baul. They go to one village after another to dance and sing. The word Baul means crazy. They are crazy people. Madness has happened many times, but if you know the technique, meditation can happen. It always happens at the tipping point, and that's why the mystics love to use the word "blade".Either madness or meditation, each method makes your body like a blade, where either this happens or that happens. So, what are the techniques for jumping into meditation?I have spoken of two: fasting and dancing. All the techniques of meditation are designed to push you to the brink of jumping, and the jumping itself can only be done in very simple, methodless ways. If there is a moment when fasting has brought you to the precipice of death and you remain aware, if you remain aware when death is approaching, if you remain aware, then there is no death. Not only is there no death now, but there will never be death. You have jumped! When the moment is so tense that you know it's fleeting, and if you don't seize the second, you'll never get it back, be aware, just jump that way.Awareness is the method.Because awareness is the method, Zen people say there is no method.Awareness is not a method at all, that's why Krishnamurti keeps saying there is no method. Of course awareness is not really a method at all.But I still call it method, because if you are not aware, then when the moment you can jump, you will be overwhelmed. So, if someone says, "Only by awareness," it may apply to one person in 10,000, but that person is someone who has reached a point where they either go mad or die.Either way, he's reached a tipping point. For most of the rest, just talking about awareness is useless.First they have to be trained. It is useless to be aware in ordinary situations, and you cannot be aware in ordinary situations. The mind has been dull for ages - its drowsy, sluggish, unaware, it's been around for so long, you can't just listen to Krishnamurti or me or someone else to remain aware. It is not easy to be aware even of things that you have done without knowing it countless times. You come to the office and don't even notice that you are moving: you turn around, walk, open the door. You've been doing this all your life, and it's become an involuntary mechanism, completely out of your awareness. So Krishnamurti says, "Be aware that you are walking." But you are never aware of it while you are walking. The habit is so ingrained that it becomes part of your bones and blood, and it becomes difficult to be aware of it. You will be aware only in emergencies, in unexpected stressful situations.Someone puts a gun to your chest and you know it because you've never been in that situation before. If you are familiar with this situation, you will not be aware at all. Fasting is about creating an emergency, an emergency that you have never experienced before. So, it may not help someone who practices fasting regularly, he needs to fast for a longer period of time.Or, if you've never danced before, you can easily get help by dancing. But if you are a dance expert, Sufi Dervish dance no longer works because you have danced so perfectly, so skillfully, that it is useless.Skillful means that this is already being done by the involuntary part of the mind.Skillful always means that. That's why 120 methods of meditation have been developed, one will not work for you, another may.The most useful one should be the one you don't know about at all.If a particular method has never been practiced, it can quickly create an emergency. In such emergencies, be aware! So your concern is meditation not kundalini. When you are aware, many things happen to you.For the first time you will become aware that the inner world is bigger, wider, and wider than the universe; there will be unknown energies, completely unknown energies flowing inside you; never heard of, never imagined or Dreamed phenomena also began to happen. However, the phenomenon that occurs varies from person to person, so it is better not to talk about it. Occurrences vary, so ancient traditions emphasize having a spiritual master.Classics don't work.Only a spiritual master can do that. And the guru has been against the scriptures, although the scriptures talk about the guru and praise him.The very concept of a spiritual master is antithetical to the scriptures. The familiar idiom "No teacher, no knowledge" does not mean that there is no knowledge without a spiritual master, but that there is only scriptures without knowledge. A living guru is needed, not a dead book.Books cannot know which type of person you are.Books are always general and cannot be aimed at a specific individual. That is impossible, there is no such possibility.Only a living person can understand your needs and know what is about to happen to you. This is indeed paradoxical: the scriptures speak of a guru, saying that without a guru there is no knowledge, yet the guru speaks against the scriptures in a symbolic way.The idea that a spiritual master will teach you knowledge does not mean that knowledge is given by him, on the contrary, it means that only living people can help. Why?Because only the living can understand people. No book can understand the individual man.Books are not written for a particular person but for everyone. In teaching the method, however, your individuality must be taken into account very, very precisely and scientifically. The knowledge imparted by the guru has always been secretly and privately passed on from master to disciple. Why keep it a secret?Secrecy is the only means of imparting knowledge. The disciples were commanded not to mention it to anyone. The mind always wants to speak. It's hard to keep a secret if you know something.Keeping a secret is the hardest thing, but it has always been a requirement of spiritual masters, teachers. When they teach you something, there is always one condition: don't talk about it.Why?Why keep it secret? Many people say that truth does not need secrecy, it does not need privacy. This is nonsense.Truth needs privacy more than untruth, because truth can be destructive and dangerous to anyone.Taught to a specific person, that means only for him, not for others. He should not delegate it to anyone else until he himself has reached a point where his individuality has disappeared. This must be understood. A guru is a person whose individuality has disappeared.Only then can he see deeply into your individuality. If he is an individual himself, he can explain you, but he never understands you.Let's say I'm talking about you here, it's about you, it's not about you, it's about me.I can't help you because I don't really know you.Whenever I get to know you, it always comes around, and that's by getting to know myself. ·There ·I· must disappear at this point.I must just be a non-existence.Then I can go deep into you without any explanation. Then I can know you as you really are, not as I know you.Only then can I help. Therefore, it must be kept secret. So, it is better not to talk about kundalini and chakras.Only meditation needs to be taught, heard and understood, and everything else will fall into place. Kundalini itself is not a life force, on the contrary, it is a special channel of life, a way.But the life force can go other ways too, so it doesn't have to go through kundalini. It is entirely possible to achieve enlightenment without going through kundalini. But kundalini is the easiest shortcut to take. If the life force passes through kundalini, then the terminal point is the brahman point on the top of the head. However, if the life force goes the other way (there can be innumerable channels), then the brahman point on the top of the head is not the terminal. Then the flowering of the Brahman acupoint on the top of the head is the only possibility, the only potential. Some schools of yoga don't even mention kundalini. Then there is no such thing as a brahmacharya above the head. But kundalini is the easiest way to go, so ninety percent of the enlightened people go through kundalini. Kundalini and chakras are not in the physical body, they belong to the etheric body, but they have a counterpart in the physical body; just like you put your hand on your heart when you feel love. There is actually no such thing as "love" there, only your heart, your physical heart, is the corresponding point. When you put your hand on your heart, you are putting your hand on that energy center that belongs to the ethereal body, which is roughly equivalent to the heart of your physical body. Kundalini is part of your ethereal body, so any progress you make on the kundalini path doesn't die with the physical body, it follows you.Anything you achieve will stay with you because it is not part of your physical body.If it's part of your physical body, then every time you die it disappears and you have to start all over again. But if someone has reached the third chakra, this progress follows him into the afterlife. It will follow him, it will be stored in his ethereal body. When I say the life force goes through the kundalini, I mean the kundalini is like a channel, the whole channel connecting the 7 chakras. These energy centers are also not in the physical body, so everything that is said about kundalini is said about the etheric body. As the life force moves through the kundalini, the chakra begins to vibrate and blossom.Once the energy is there, these energy centers come alive. It's like hydroelectric power, where the force and pressure of the water turns a generator.Without pressure and water, the generator stops and it doesn't work. The generator turns due to the pressure.Likewise, chakras exist, but they are dead until the life force passes through them.Only after the life force passes through them do the energy centers start turning. That's why they are called energy centers. The translation as "center" is not very accurate, because the center is something that does not move, but the energy center is moving. Therefore, it should be translated as "wheel" instead of "center"; or "dynamic center", "rotating center" or "active center". The chakras were centers before the life force came, but once the life force reached them, they became wheels, and now they are not centers but wheels, turning. And each wheel generates new energy as it turns. This energy is used to turn the next chakra. So as the life force passes through one energy center after another, it becomes more alive and powerful. Kundalini is the channel through which the life force moves. The life force is located in the sex center, stored in the sex center muladhar, and it can be used as sex energy, and at this time, a specific life, the life of a small creature, is reproduced. It also creates movement and thus more energy, but this is biological. If this same energy moves upwards, the channels of kundalini are opened. The first to open is the sex center - Murada. It can reproduce biologically, and it can reproduce spiritually.Murada has two openings, the lower one and the upper one.In the tunnel of Kundalini, the highest center is Sahasrah, with the Brahmanana on the top of the head as its midpoint, and it is a path of self-realization. ① Sahasrar (Sahasrar): The last energy center of the body. —— Annotation Other passages without kundalini are possible, but they are more difficult. In these other passages there is no question of kundalini and therefore no question of movement through this passage. There are Hindu methods, raja yoga, mandala yoga, and many techniques of tantra. There are also Christian methods, Buddhist methods, Zen methods, and Taoist methods.None of them involve kundalini awakening, without that channel. They use other channels, even channels that are not part of the ethereal body. You can use the channel of the astral body. The third body, the astral body, has its own channels, and the fourth, the mental body, has its own channels. All 7 instances have their own passages. There are many schools of yoga that do not mention kundalini.Only Hatha Yoga uses kundalini as a channel. But this is the most scientific and least difficult. It is easier than other schools of yoga and is a step-by-step approach to awakening. Even without using the kundalini channel, sometimes there will be a sudden awakening of the kundalini.Sometimes things happen that are beyond your reach, sometimes things happen that you can't even imagine, and that's when you are completely dismantled. The other channels have their own preparations to do.The tantra or occult methods are not kundalini yoga.Kundalini yoga is just one method among many, but it is best to use only one if you want to use it. The dynamic meditation I use is related to kundalini. It is easier to practice with kundalini because it involves your second body. The deeper you go, involving the third, fourth body, the more difficult it becomes. The second body is closest to your physical body and has a counterpart there, so it's easier. If you practice the third body pair, the corresponding point is on the second body; if you practice the fourth body, the corresponding point is on the third body, then it has nothing to do with your biological body. You don't feel anything physically at all.But with kundalini, you feel every step exactly and know where you are.At this time you will have more confidence. With other methods, you must first learn the technique to help you feel the corresponding point on the second or third body, and that takes time. Those other methods negate kundalini, but their negation is incorrect; they negate it because they don't need it.Kundalini has its own methodology. If you are practicing in a Zen way, you should not be concerned with kundalini. But sometimes, even with another method of practice, there will be kundalini, because the 7 entities are interpenetrating, they are interconnected. So, when you are working on the third body astral body, the second body may also start working, it may get a spark from the third body. The reverse is impossible. When you practice the second body, the third body will not be ignited, because the second body is lower than the third body. But when you work on the third body, the energy you are creating can come to the second body without your effort.Energy will flow to the lower realms.Your second body is lower than your third body, so energy created in your third body may sometimes flow into your second body. Kundalini can be felt in other ways, but people who teach other methods that don't involve kundalini don't want you to pay attention to it.If you pay attention to it, more and more energy will come out, then the whole method that does not involve kundalini will be destroyed. They don't know anything about kundalini, so they don't know what to do. Gurus who use other methods will completely deny kundalini. They will call it bullshit, say it is imagined, say you are just projecting. "Don't care about it, don't pay attention to it." And if you don't pay attention to it, then you can go on with the third body and gradually the kundalini will stop.Energy no longer flows into the second body. That would be better. Therefore, you have to concentrate on using any method.Don't intervene in other ways, don't think about other ways, because that will be confusing. The flow of kundalini is very subtle and unknowable, and confusion can damage it. My dynamic meditation is related to kundalini.Even if you just keep watching your breath, that will help kundalini, because the breath, accompanied by the life energy prana, is associated with the second body, the ethereal body.Breathing has nothing to do with the physical body, it is extracted from the physical body, and the physical body is just a portal. ① Prana (prana): Sanskrit refers to breathing. In Indian philosophy, the "air" or energy of life in the human body. ——Editor's note Prana is associated with the ethereal body. The lungs are breathing, but for the ethereal body.Your first physical body works for your second etheric body.Likewise, the astral body works for the third body, the astral body, and the astral body works for the fourth, the mental body. Your physical body is the gateway for the second body. The second body is so subtle that it is impossible to relate directly to the physical world. So your physical body first converts every substance into life forms before these life forms become food for the second body. Everything that comes from the senses is transformed into life-form, which then becomes the food of the second body. The second body then transforms it into a more subtle form, which in turn becomes food for the third body. It's like you can't eat mud, but the elements of mud are transformed in vegetables, so you can eat it.The vegetables transform the mud into a subtle living form so you can eat it.You can't eat grass, the cow eats it for you, and the grass gets into the belly of the cow, and the cow converts it into milk; then, you can eat it, and you can drink the milk. Likewise, your first body eats matter and transforms it into a life form for your second body to absorb. The breath is inhaled by the lungs, which are mechanisms that work for the second body.If the second body dies, the condition of the lungs is still good, but there is no breathing, and there is no breathing. The second body is the master of the first body, and the third body is the master of the second body.Every lower body is a servant of the higher body. Therefore, awareness of the breath is very helpful in kundalini practice. It generates energy, preserves energy, and helps the life force to rise upward. My whole approach has to do with kundalini.Once these methods are mastered, everything can be done by it, so that nothing is needed anymore. The last energy center is Sahasrah, which can be reached by any means.Sahasra and Brahman point on the top of the head are both names for the seventh energy center in Kundalini Yoga.If you don't use kundalini, if you practice the third body, you can also reach this point, but it is not called the Brahman point on the head, and the first 6 chakras are gone. You're on a different path, so the milestones are different, but the end point is the same. The 7 individuals are all related to the seventh energy center, so it can be reached from anywhere. A person cannot pay attention to two channels and two methods at the same time, which will cause confusion, and the inner energy will be divided into two channels. Any method should bring all the energy into one aspect. My Dynamic Meditation method does just that, which is why it starts with 10 minutes of deep, rapid breathing. Does the feeling of kundalini resemble the movement of a snake? No, they are not the same.Maybe someone has never seen a snake and if his kundalini is awakened, he cannot conceive it as "serpent power".This is impossible because such a symbol does not exist. Then he feels it in other ways. This must be understood. In the west, people cannot imagine kundalini as the power of snakes because snakes are not a physical object in their daily life.In ancient India, snakes were people's neighbors, the neighbors they met every day, and they were the most powerful and graceful things that people saw. That is why the image of the snake is used as a symbol of the kundalini phenomenon. In other regions, the snake cannot be a symbol, it seems unnatural.People who don't know about snakes can't think about it, or even imagine it. Symbols exist, and they have meaning in terms of your personality. But a particular symbol is only meaningful if it is real to you and fits into your psychological makeup. Is Kundalini a psychic phenomenon? You ask this question with fear, and that fear is that if it is a psychic phenomenon, it is not real.Psychic phenomena also have their realic ty, and psyche means another realm of the real world, the immaterial realm.Reality and materiality have become synonymous in the human mind, but they are not.Authenticity is much greater than materiality.Materiality is only one level of authenticity.Even a dream has its reality.Dreams are immaterial, but not unreal.Dreams are psychic phenomena, but don't think it's unreal, it's just another layer of reality. Even a thought has its reality, although it is not a physical thing.Everything has its reality, and reality has different realms, different levels and different layers. But in our minds, physicality becomes the only reality, so when we say "spiritual" or "psychological," things are being condemned as unreal. I am saying that kundalini is symbolic, it is spiritual, this reality is spiritual, but the symbol is something you give to it, not inherent in it. This phenomenon is spiritual. There is something rising in you, it is a powerful rising, something is rising from below into your mind, it is a powerful penetrating force, you feel it, but when you want to express it, A symbol comes to mind; even when you begin to understand it, you have to resort to symbols. Not only do you have to use symbols when you express this phenomenon to others, but you also have to use symbols to understand it yourself. When we say "risen", this is also a symbol. We say "four", which is also a symbol. "Up" and "down" are also symbols. In real existence there is nothing up and down.In real existence there are feelings of being, but there are no symbols to understand and express these feelings. So you have to use metaphors to understand. You say "it is like a snake" and it becomes like a snake, it takes on the shape of the symbol you have given it, and it looks as you imagined it to be.You mold it into a certain model, otherwise you cannot understand it. When something has started to germinate, flower, and it comes to your mind, you have to somehow envision what is happening. As soon as thought comes in, it takes with it its own categories. So you say "blossom", "germinate", you say "penetrate".The thing itself can be understood in many metaphors, and the metaphors you use are up to you, up to your mind. And this decision itself depends on many things, such as your life experience. In the next two to three hundred years, there may be no more snakes on the earth, because human beings have killed everything that he regards as enemies. At that time, "snake" will become a historical noun, a word in books, and it will no longer be a real thing.Today, the snake is not a real thing to most of the world. Then the power of the metaphor would be lost, and the beauty would be gone. The symbol would be dead, and one would have to imagine kundalini in some new way. It may turn into a surge of electricity.Electricity is more suitable and pertinent to the human mind than the snake. It could also be transformed into a jet plane or likened to a rocket to the moon. This speed is more appropriate. It will be like a jet.If you can feel and your whole mind can conceive of it as a jet, it will become a jet.Reality is another matter, but the metaphor was given to you, and you chose the metaphor based on your experience because it meant something to you. Since yoga was developed in an agricultural society, it uses agricultural symbols: a flower, a snake, etc., but these are only symbols.Buddha never talked about kundalini, and even if he did, he would not talk about the power of the serpent; nor would Mahavira. They were born in the royal family, and the analogy that sounds kind to others does not sound kind to them. They use other symbols. Buddha and Mahavira were born in a royal palace, where there is no such thing as a real snake. But to the farmer the snake was so common and real that it was impossible for him not to be familiar with it.Snakes are also dangerous and one must be alert to it.But, for Buddha and Mahavira, the snake was not a real thing at all. Buddha cannot talk about snakes, he talks about flowers. He knows about flowers, more than others. He has seen many flowers, but only the living ones. His father ordered the gardener of the imperial garden not to let Gautama see a flower that was about to wither. He was only allowed to see the first blooms, so the gardeners spent all night pruning and trimming. When he entered the garden in the morning, he could not see a dead leaf.I can't see a withered flower, only a vibrant flower. ①Gautama (Gautama): Sakyamuni's surname, also used to address Sakyamuni. —— Annotation So, for him the blooming is a real existence, but not for us.When he became enlightened, he compared enlightenment to a process in which a hundred flowers bloom in full bloom. The real situation is another matter, but this metaphor comes from Buddha. These metaphors are not untrue, these metaphors are not only poetic. They correspond to your nature, you belong to them, they belong to you.The negation of symbols has proven radical and dangerous. You repeatedly deny all immaterial reality, and religious rituals and symbols take revenge. They come back again and again, they pop up again, they appear in your clothes, in your temples, in your poetry, in your actions.Symbols will surely retaliate, they will return. They cannot be denied because they are part of your nature. The human mind cannot think in a relative, purely abstract way.it can't.Real existence cannot be conceived with purely mathematical concepts, we can only conceive it with symbols.Symbolic associations are based on human character. In fact, only the human mind can create symbols, animals cannot create them. A symbol is a living painting.Whatever is happening on the inside, you have to borrow symbols from the outside. As soon as you feel something, the symbol automatically appears; as soon as the symbol appears, there is power injected into that particular symbol. In this way the kundalini becomes like a snake, it becomes a big snake. You will feel it, see it, and it will even be more alive than a real snake. You will feel the kundalini as a snake because abstractions cannot be felt.impossible! We make all kinds of idols for God because we cannot grasp abstract concepts.God, as an abstraction, is meaningless; it is just a mathematical concept. We know that the word God is not God, but we have to use the word.A word is but a symbol. We know that the word God is a symbol, a sign, and not a real God, but we have to use it anyway. Here's the paradox: when you know it's not fact, and you know it's not fiction, it's a necessity, it's a real thing, then you have to go beyond the symbol. You have to go beyond it, and you have to know the transcendence. But the mind cannot conceive beyond, and the mind is the only tool you have.Every concept arises through your mind. So, you feel the symbol and it becomes real. And to another there will be another symbol, as real as yours. This creates a contradiction. For each person, his own symbol is authentic and credible. However, we are all haunted by concrete realities. The symbol must be real to us, otherwise it cannot be real. We say: "The tape recorder is real" because the tape recorder is real to each of us, it has an objective reality.Yoga, however, is concerned with subjective truth.Subjective truth is not as real as objective truth, but it has its own way of showing truth. The attachment to objectivity must be removed.Subjective authenticity is actually as real as objective authenticity, except that as soon as you imagine subjective authenticity, you impart your own scent to it.You give it a name of your own, a symbol of your own.The way this is conceived must be personal.Even if someone else experiences the same thing, the records are different.Even two snakes will be different because the metaphor of the snake comes from two different individuals. So these metaphors - the feeling of kundalini like the action of a snake - are only symbolic, but they correspond to reality. The same action is there, the subtle action like the serpent is there; the power is there, the golden phenomenon is there, and all this corresponds to the symbol of the serpent. As long as you feel that symbol suits you, it will do. However, it may also feel uncomfortable. So never tell anyone that what happens to you must happen to him.Don't say that to anyone.Maybe so, maybe not. What is right for you may not be right for him.If this is well understood, then there is no reason for differences of opinion. Hindus see God through their environment.Beautiful nature, fertile land, this nation is deeply rooted in the land.Everything is flowing, flowing in a certain direction, slowly like the Ganges. It's neither scary nor dangerous. So the God of Hinduism must be Krishna dancing and playing the flute. This image comes from the environment, the thinking of the nation and the life experience of the nation. Everything subjective must be translated, but whatever name we give it, whatever symbol it is, is not unreal. It is real to us.So one must defend one's own symbol, but not impose it on others. One has to say this: "Even though all others are against this symbol, it is agreeable to me, it happens to me naturally. That is how God has come to me, and I do not know how He has come to others." So there have been many, many thousands of ways of expressing these things. But when I say it's subjective, spiritual, I don't mean it's just a name. It's not just a name, it's a real existence to you.It comes to you in this way, it cannot be otherwise. If we don't confuse matter with reality, objectivity with reality, then everything becomes clear. But if you confuse them, then things become incomprehensible.
