After the village boy returned home, the Buddha began walking meditation. He held his monk's robe up to his waist, waded across the river, and followed a path between two rice fields to his favorite lotus pond.It was here that he sat down and visualized the beautiful lotus. As he looked at the lotus stem, lotus leaves and lotus flower, he remembered the different stages of a lotus growth. Its roots are hidden in the mud. Some stalks failed to emerge from the water, while others just emerged, revealing curly new leaves. There are some lotus buds with petals waiting to be released and lotus flowers that have already opened brilliantly. There are also lotus pods whose petals have all been taken off.The lotus flowers in the pond are white, blue and pink. The Buddha observed that a human being is no different from a lotus flower.Everyone has their own individual innate conditions.Devadatta is not like Ananda; Yelundara is very different from Queen Pamisa; Shansheng is even more different from Bana.Character, virtue, wit, and intelligence vary greatly from person to person. The path of liberation attained by the Buddha must also teach different kinds of people in various ways.He thought, teaching those village boys is Anwei, because he can communicate with them in the simplest way.

Different methods are like different doors through which different people can enter to understand the teachings. The creation of 'Famen' was born out of direct contact with people. The Buddha did not miraculously receive the prescribed methods under the bodhi tree.He thought that he had to rejoin the community to turn the wheel of Dharma and sow the seeds of liberation. He has been enlightened for forty-nine days. Now should be the time to leave Uloubo. He decided to set off the next morning, leaving the cool woods, linden trees and children by the Neranjana River. He hoped to go first to his two teachers Alara Kalama and Udakalama. He is confident that they will attain the Way as soon as possible. After assisting the two venerables, he planned to go to the five friends who were doing asceticism with him. Then, he would go to Magadha to revisit King Bimbasara.

The next morning, the Buddha put on his new clothes and walked into Uruqi in the early morning mist.He went to Svasti's house and told the young cowboy and his family that he was leaving. The Buddha gently patted each child's head, and then they walked together to the house of good students.Hearing the news, Shansheng couldn't help crying. Buddha said: "I have to leave here to complete my task. But I promise you, I will come back to visit you when I have the opportunity. You have really helped me a lot, and I am very grateful to you. Please remember to practice me and you Things to share. In this way, I am not too far away from you all the time. Shansheng, wipe away your tears and give me a smile."

Shansheng wiped away her tears with the hem of her sari and tried to smile as best she could. Then, they walked out of the village together.Just as the Buddha was about to turn his head to say goodbye, he noticed a young ascetic approaching him.The ascetic folded his palms in salute and looked at the Buddha curiously. After a while, he said: "Monk, you look radiant and extremely peaceful. May I ask your name, which master do you belong to?" The Buddha replied: "My name is Siddhartha Gautama. I have studied with many teachers, but now I have no teacher. Where are you from and what is your name?"

The ascetic replied, "My name is Upaga. I have just left the practice center of Master Uddhasa Rama." "Is Master Udaka in good health?" "The master just passed away a few days ago." Buddha sighed. He has never been able to help his old man.He asked again, "Have you ever studied with Master Alara Kalama?" Upaka replied, "Yes. But he also died recently." "Then have you ever known a monk named Kao Chenru?" Upaga said two: "Of course I know. When I was with Master Utak, I heard about him and four other monks. I heard that they are now living in Sarnath near Rajagaha. Gautama, please Never mind, but I'm on my way. I've got a long way to go."

After putting his hands together and saying goodbye to Upaga, the Buddha followed the river to the north. He knew it was the longer way, but easier to walk. The Neranja River flows north into the Ganges. If he followed the Ganges westward, he could reach Bharam Phra in a few days. There, after crossing the Ganges, he reached the capital of Kashi, Rajagha. The children watched him go until he was out of sight. They were all very sad and full of hope.Shansheng was crying.Although Svasti wanted to cry, he didn't want to cry in front of his younger siblings. After a while, he said, "My dear sister, I'm going to prepare to take care of the buffalo. We should go home. Bana, remember to give Lupek a bath today. Come, let me hug Pima."

They returned to the village along the river bank.No one said a word. Venerable Ananda was very kind and very handsome. He does have an amazing memory, too. Ananda could write down everything the Buddha said in every dharma meeting.Svasti and Rahula were grateful to Ananda for repeating for them the eleven points that the Buddha had said in the Sutra on Care of the Buffalo.Svasti also knew that Ananda would remember what he had said about the Buddha in the Uruvela Forest. As Svasti spoke, he kept an eye on Gotami Bhikkhuni. Her shining eyes told Svasti how much she enjoyed the stories, so he tried to recount even the little ones.Bhikkhuni Gotami loved to hear episodes about the Uruvela children, like the one where they were eating oranges in the forest with the Buddha.

Rahula was also seen to be the one who was very happy to hear it.Although Ma Sheng was the only one who did not speak during the two-day narration, he also obviously listened with gusto.Svasti knew that Ma Sheng was one of the five friends who practiced asceticism with the Buddha, so he was also very curious about the situation when the Buddha met them after six months of solitary practice. However, he asked shyly again.Bhikkhuni Gautami seemed to know what Svasti meant, and she said, "Svasti, do you want to hear from Elder Ma Sheng what happened after the Buddha left Uruvila? Ma Sheng has been with Buddha for ten years. But I believe he never talked about what happened to them at Sarnath near Polonais. Elder Ma Sheng, can you tell us about the Buddha's first sermon and some things that have happened in the past ten years ?"

Ma Sheng clasped his hands together and replied, "Bhikkhuni Gotami, you don't need to call me elder. Today, we have listened to many monks Svasti, and it is almost time to sit in meditation. Why don't you all do it together tomorrow?" Get up from my hut, and then I can tell you in detail all that I remember." Ma Sheng is practicing asceticism in Deer Park. One day, after sitting in meditation, he saw a monk coming towards him in the distance. As the man approached, he realized it was Siddhartha, and immediately ran to tell the other four. Bhatti said: "Siddhartha abandoned the way halfway. He ate, drank milk, and spent time with the village boys. He really disappointed us. I don't think we need to greet him." The five of them decided not to meet Siddharth at the gate. They also agreed that even if he came into Sarnath by himself, they would not pay attention to him.But what happened in the end was quite different.

When Siddhartha walked through the gate, all five of them rose to their feet immediately, caught by the majesty he exuded.Siliantha seemed to be glowing all over.Every step of his walk revealed a rare spiritual force. His penetrating gaze completely changed their original idea of giving him blank stares.Kou Chenru stepped forward to take the bowl for him.Moan Koli rushed to fetch water to wash his feet.Batti pulled up the stool and sat down.Erba found a big palm leaf to fan him.Ma Sheng stood aside, not knowing what to do. After Siddhartha washed his hands and feet, Ma Sheng realized that he could offer a bowl of clean water. The five of them sat around Siddhartha, and Siddhartha kindly said to them: "Brothers, I have found the way. I am going to let you know too."

Ma Sheng was dubious about what Sijianta said.Maybe a few others felt the same way, so no one responded for a long time. Finally, Kao Chenru hesitated and said, "Gautama, you have abandoned the way halfway. You eat and drink milk, and you are with the village boys. How can you realize the way of liberation?" Siddhartha looked into Kochenru's eyes and asked, "My good friend Kochenru, you have known me for a long time. During this time, have I ever lied to you?" Kao Chenru admitted that he hadn't. "It is true, Siddhartha, I have never heard you tell a lie." The Buddha said: "Then listen, friends. I have attained the Way, and I want you to attain it. You will hear my teachings for the first time. These Dhammas are not my gift. They are mine. I have experienced it directly. Please listen calmly and attentively.” The Buddha's voice was so full of spiritual majesty that they all looked at him with their hands clasped.Kao Chenru said on behalf of them: "Our friend Gautama, please be merciful and teach us the Way." The Buddha began peacefully: "Brothers, everyone should avoid taking two extreme paths. One is to indulge oneself in the enjoyment of sensual material desires. Exploitation is needed. Both of these oppressive actions are bound to lead to failure. What I have found is the impartial middle way. It can lead us to enlightenment, liberation and freedom. It is right view, right thought, right speech, right action , Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration. It is by this Eightfold Path that I have attained enlightenment, liberation, and freedom.” "Brothers, do you know why I call it the Right Path? It's because it doesn't require us to escape or fight against suffering, but it allows us to face it directly and thus subdue it. The Noble Eightfold Path is living in awareness. The way of the middle. Concentration with the heart is its cornerstone. Practicing mindfulness and concentration will allow us to develop concentration. With concentration, we can achieve enlightenment. With correct concentration, we will naturally have correct Awareness, thought, speech, behavior, work and diligence. The understanding it exerts will free us from every bit of suffering and give us real happiness. "Brothers, there are four truths in the world, and they are: the existence of suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path leading to the extinction of suffering. I call them the Four Noble Truths. The first Noble Truth is the existence of suffering. Aging, sickness, and death are suffering. Sorrow, resentment, jealousy, worry, worry, fear, and sorrow are suffering. Separation from loved ones is suffering. Being with someone you hate is suffering. Attachment and desire are suffering again. "Brothers, the Second Noble Truth is the root of suffering. Because of ignorance, we cannot see the truth of life and are therefore often caught in the flames of desire, anger, jealousy, sadness, sorrow and fear. "Brothers, the Third Noble Truth is the cessation of suffering. A clear understanding of the truth of life brings about the cessation of every kind of suffering, which in turn produces peace and joy. "Brothers, the Fourth Noble Truth is the path that leads to the cessation of suffering. This is the Noble Eightfold Path that I just explained. The Eightfold Path trains us to live mindfully. Mindfulness and concentration also enables us to attain concentration and thus realize the truth of life. After being fully enlightened, we can be freed from suffering and gain freedom and happiness. I will guide you on this path of enlightenment." Just as Siddhartha was explaining the Four Noble Truths, Kai Chenru suddenly felt a great light shining in his heart. He could taste the relief he had been seeking for so long. There was joy on his face. The Buddha pointed to him and said, "Kaichenru! You are enlightened! You are enlightened!" Kao Chenru folded his palms and bowed to the Buddha. He said sincerely and respectfully: "My respected Gotama, please accept me as an apprentice. Under your guidance, I will definitely be able to achieve great enlightenment." The other four monks also joined hands and bowed to the Buddha at the same time, asking the Buddha to accept them as disciples. The Buddha motioned them to get up, and said to them, "Brothers! The village boys of Uruvela gave me the name Buddha. You may also call me that if you like." Kao Chenru asked, "Doesn't Buddha mean the enlightened one?" "Yes. And they call the Way I found the Way of Awakening. What do you think of that name?" "The Enlightened One! The Way of Awakening! Very good! Very good! These names are true and simple. We will all call you Buddha, and this way will be called the Way of Awakening. As you said, mindful life It is the basis of spiritual practice." All five of them unanimously accepted Buddha as their teacher and called him Buddha. Buddha smiled at them. "Brothers, please use an open-minded and wise mind to practice. In this way, you will be able to realize the fruit of liberation in three months." Buddha stayed in Sarnath to teach his five friends. They all thus renounced their strange ascetic ways.Every day, the three monks would go out to beg for food, and when they came back, they would share the food they begged with the other three. The Buddha gave them individual instructions so that they could all progress rapidly. The Buddha taught them the truth that the world is impermanent and has no self-nature.He also taught them to visualize the five aggregates as five constantly flowing rivers, thus realizing that there is no eternal or individual being in them. The five aggregates refer to the body, feelings, thoughts, thoughts, and consciousness. If they meditate on the five aggregates and reflect inwardly, they should be able to see the subtle relationship between themselves and the universe. Thanks to their hard work and diligence, the five of them finally proved the Tao.The first was Kao Chenru, and Eda and Bati were certified two months later.Later, Mo Nan Kuli and Ma Sheng also attained Arhat status. The Buddha told them with great joy: "Now we really are a community. We call it the Sangha. The community of the Sangha is those who live in harmony and mindful awareness. We must plant the seeds of awakening spread everywhere." The Buddha used to get up early in the morning to sit in meditation, and then went to walk among the trees for meditation. One morning, while the Buddha was walking meditation, he saw a handsome, elegantly dressed young man in his twenties wandering in the morning mist.So Buddha sat on a big rock. When the man approached the big stone, he didn't notice the Buddha, but he said to himself, "I hate it! I hate it!" The Buddha spoke: "There is nothing to hate, and there is nothing to be disgusted with." The young man stopped.Buddha's voice is clear and soothing. The man looked up and saw the Buddha sitting peacefully on the stone. The young man took off his sandals and bowed deeply to the Buddha. He also sat down on a big rock next to him. The Buddha asked, "What is so disgusting? What disgusts you?" The young man claimed that his name was Yasa, and that he was the son of a rich merchant in Rajagha.Yasa has always lived a carefree life. His parents met all his requirements and provided him with all the enjoyment he should have.Such as luxurious houses, gold and silver jewellery, wine and beauties, delicacies and feasts are all indispensable. But Yasher, a young man with a sharp mind, began to feel that this life full of material comforts gradually made him feel cramped. He could no longer find satisfaction and meaning in this life. He was like a man shut in a windowless room longing for a breath of fresh air and a simple and sane life.Just the night before, he had a happy gathering with his friends, had a long night of singing and dancing, and fell in love with beautiful women. But when Yasher woke up in the middle of the night and saw his friend, a courtesan, drunk and fast asleep, he immediately knew that he could no longer live like this.He put on his cloak and sandals, and ran out the door, walking aimlessly. In this way, he walked all night before he realized that he had come to Sarnath. Now that the sun was rising, he was sitting opposite the Buddha. The Buddha persuaded him: "Jesa, life is indeed full of troubles, but there are also many good things. Indulging in pleasures is certainly harmful to the body and mind. If you live a simple and healthy life and are not enslaved by desires and desires, you can experience Life is wonderful and beautiful. Yeshe, look to the Western Zhou Dynasty. Can you see the trees in the mist? Aren’t they beautiful? The moon and stars, mountains, rivers and earth, sunlight, birdsong and gurgling springs are all the things in the universe. some of these phenomena that afford infinite pleasure." "Happiness from these nourishes our mind and body. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Now open your eyes again. What do you see? Trees, smoke, sky, and streaks of sunlight. Your own eyes are Amazing enough. You have always been out of touch with these amazing and beautiful things, so you have a disdain for your body and mind. Some people even commit suicide because they hate their body and mind. They can only see the pain of life, but the pain Not the reality of the universe. Suffering is just an effect of our way of life and our wrong ideas about life." The words of the Buddha moved Yasa as if being sprinkled with nectar on his dry heart.Filled with joy, he fell on the ground and begged the Buddha to accept him as a disciple. The Buddha helped him up and said, "A monk lives a very simple and unadorned life. He has no money. He sleeps in a hut or under a tree. He only eats one meal, and it comes from begging. You can live such a life. ?" "Yes, Master. I am happy to live like this." The Buddha also said: "A monk puts all his body and mind into realizing liberation to help himself and others. He also wants to concentrate his energy to solve the suffering for others. Are you willing to vow to follow this path?" "Of course, Master. I vow to obey." "Then I will accept you as an apprentice. The disciples in my Sangha are all called monks, that is, beggars. You have to beg for food every day to support yourself, and you have to practice humility and keep in touch with others so that you can receive and guide them." They understand the way." At this time, five friends and disciples of the Buddha came.Yasa got up and respectfully worshiped everyone. The Buddha introduced them to Yashe, and said to Kochenru: "Kaichenru, Yashe wants to become a monk. I have accepted him as my disciple. Please teach him how to wear a robe, hold a bowl, observe breathing, and Practice walking meditation and sitting meditation." After Yasa bowed to the Buddha, he followed Kochenru to his hut and asked Kochenru to shave his hair and teach him what the Buddha had commanded.Kai Chenru just happened to have an extra robe and a bowl that people offered him, so he forwarded these to Yashe. That afternoon, Yasa's father came to Yasa.It turned out that that morning, his whole family went out in a hurry to look for Yashe.A servant followed Yasher's footsteps to Sarnath, and found his golden sandals abandoned beside a boulder. After some questioning, I found out that the young master was with the monk there. So he hurried home and told Yasher's father. When Yasa's father arrived, he found the Buddha sitting peacefully on a stone. He clasped his hands together and asked politely, "My lord, have you met my son Yasa?" The Buddha asked Yasa's father to sit down on a large rock nearby. He said, "Jesher is in the house, and he will come out soon." Then Yasa's father listened to the Buddha's account of what had happened that morning. The Buddha tried his best to make him understand the thoughts and desires in his son's heart. The Buddha said to him: "Yasa is a smart and sensitive young man. He has found the way of spiritual liberation. He has only now gained confidence, security and happiness. Please be happy for him." The Buddha also told Yasa's father how he could eliminate suffering in his life and create security and happiness for himself and those around him.The businessman found the Buddha's words a great relief. He stood up and closed his palms, asking the Buddha to accept him as a lay disciple. Buddha was silent at first. After a while, he said: "All my disciples strive for a simple and focused life. They don't kill, steal, commit adultery, lie, drink alcohol or any stimulant that can make them faint. If Sir, if you think you can follow these instructions, I will accept you as a lay disciple." Yashe's father knelt in front of the Buddha, put his palms together and said, "Please let me take refuge in your teachings. Please show me the way I should do in this life. I vow to be loyal to your teachings as long as I live." Buddha helped him up.Yasa also just arrived. He shaved his head and wore a bhikkhu's robe. The newly ordained monk had an unusually bright smile on his face.He clasped his palms together and bowed to his father in the shape of a lotus bud.Yasher's face was scattered. His father had never seen his son so happy. He bowed back to his son and said: "Your mother is very worried about you at home." Yasher replied: I will go back and visit her, so as not to worry about her.But I have vowed to follow the Buddha and live a life of serving all beings. " Yasa's father said to the Buddha: "Master, I implore you and your monks to come down to Yasa tomorrow for a meal. We will be honored if you come to teach us the way of awakening." The Buddha looked back at Yasa. The new monk's eyes lit up.The Buddha then nodded his acceptance of the invitation. The next day, Buddha and his six monks ate at the home of Yasa's parents.Yasa's mother shed tears of joy when she saw her son safe and happy.Buddhas and monks are seated on upholstered chairs.Yasa's mother served them herself. While the monks ate in silence, no one spoke. That is, all the attendants and servants were silent. After eating and washing their bowls, Yasa's parents bowed to the Buddha and sat on a low stool in front of him.The Buddha preached to them the five precepts for the basic practice of lay disciples. "The first precept is not to kill. All living beings are afraid of death. If we really practice the path of understanding and loving-kindness, we must obey this precept. We are not only to protect human life, but to protect the lives of other animals. This precept will increase our compassion and wisdom." "The second commandment is not to steal. We have no right to steal from others or take away. We should find ways to help others to support themselves." "The third commandment is to refrain from any sexual immorality. Do not interfere with the rights and duties of others. Always be faithful to your spouse." "The fourth commandment is not to lie. Don't say things that bend the facts or cause discord and hatred. Don't spread news that is not certain." "The fifth commandment is not to drink alcohol or other stimulants." "If you live in the spirit of these precepts, you will save yourself, your family, and your friends from unnecessary pain and disharmony. You will find many times more joy in your life than before." As Yasher's mother listened, she felt as if a door of joy had opened in her heart. She was happy to know that her husband had become a disciple of Buddha. She knelt before the Buddha and folded her palms together. She was also accepted by the Buddha to accept her as a lay disciple. The Buddha and his six monks returned to Sarnath. News of Yasa's becoming a monk spread quickly through his circle of friends. His best friends - Kimbana, Shanduo, Ben Naji and Javan Patti - decided to visit him in Sarnath together. On the way, Shanduo said: "Since Yashe also decided to become a monk, the master he followed must not be ordinary, and the way he learned must be superb. Yashe is a very selective person." Vimoji retorted: "Don't be so sure. Maybe he just became a monk on a whim, and it may not last long. After a year or so, he will probably give up this life." Jia Fan Peidi disagreed. "You take Yasher too seriously. I always think he is a very strict person. I believe he would not have made this decision without careful consideration." After they found Yashe in Sarnath, Yashe introduced the Buddha to them. "Master, these four friends of mine are all excellent talents. Please be compassionate to them and open up the knowledge of the way of liberation for them." The Buddha sat down and talked with the four young men.Initially, Kimbana was skeptical of what the Buddha said. But after listening to it, his impression gradually changed. Finally, he also proposed to ask the other three people to ask the Buddha to accept them as monks. They knelt before the Buddha and begged for it.The Buddha knew that they were sincere, so he immediately accepted their request, and at the same time asked Chen Ru to guide them in the basic etiquette of going out. News that Yasa and four of his close friends had become monks soon spread to hundreds of other friends. One hundred and twenty young people in their twenties gathered at Yashe's house, preparing to leave for Sarnath early in the morning. When Yasher was informed of their visit, he immediately came out to greet them. After confessing his original intention of becoming a monk, he led the crowd to meet the Buddha. Gathering with young people, the Buddha explained to them the way to escape suffering and attain happiness. He told them how he had vowed to seek the Way when he was young. Each of the hundred and twenty young people listened fascinated.Fifty of them immediately asked to become monks.Although others have this wish, they are temporarily unable to become monks because they have not fulfilled their family responsibilities as sons, husbands or fathers. Yasa asked the Buddha to take in his fifty friends, and the Buddha readily agreed.Overjoyed, Yashe said: "If you allow it, Buddha, I will pass by my parents' house when I am begging tomorrow, and I will ask them if they can provide these monks with robes and begging bowls." The Buddha now lives in Sarnath with sixty monks. He stayed here for an extra three months to lead them.During this time, hundreds more men and women converted as lay disciples of the Buddha. The Buddha taught his monks how to practice observing their bodies, feelings, thoughts, thoughts and consciousness. He taught them the principle that all phenomena in the world depend on each other for their origin, and told them the importance of often visualizing in this regard. He explained that everything arises, develops, and perishes through interdependence.Without dependent origination, worldly dharmas do not exist.Within one dharma, ten thousand dharmas are contained. He said: "Meditating on Dependent Origination is the door to liberation from life and death. It has the power to break stubborn superficial views, such as believing that the universe is created by God or made by earth, water, fire, and wind." Buddha understood the responsibility of being a teacher. He cares for and leads his disciples like a loving older brother. He in turn shared many responsibilities with his original five disciples.Kai Chenru led twenty young monks, while Bati, Eda, Manan Koli and Ma Sheng each took charge of ten.All of these monks have made great progress in their practice. Seeing this, the Buddha called the monks together and said to them: "Monks, please listen carefully. We are completely free, without any bondage. You have now realized the Way. Go forward with confidence, you There will definitely be a great leap forward in practice. You can leave Lu Yefan at any time and go outside freely to share the path of enlightenment with others. Please spread the seeds of liberation and enlightenment so that others can be happy. Please thoroughly understand Your wonderful content and outline for teaching others the way of liberation. Countless people will benefit from your teachings. As for myself, I am leaving soon. I am planning to travel east because I want to visit Uruvid Luo's village boy and Chun look at the Bodhi tree. Afterwards, I will visit a special friend in Rajagha." After listening to the Buddha's words, most of the monks, wearing tile-colored robes and holding begging bowls, started to leave to preach the Dharma outside.Only twenty monks remained in Sarnath. Soon, many people living in Kashi and Magadha heard about the Buddha and his monk disciples. They knew of a prince of the Sakya clan who, after attaining the path of liberation, preached in Sarnath. Many monks who have not yet attained the fruit of liberation were encouraged by this, and they came to Sarnath from all over the place. After hearing the Buddha's teaching, they all vowed to become monks. The monks who went out to preach from Sarnath brought back many young people who wished to become monks. The number of monks thus increased suddenly. One day, the Buddha summoned the Sangha in Sarnath and said to them: "Bhikkhus! Now there is no need for me to personally shave new monks. At the same time, there is no need for those who wish to become ordained to be shaved to come to Sarnath. They only You need to be ordained in the village or town where you live, as long as you have relatives to testify. I also need to be free to stay or leave here like you. Therefore, when you meet someone who sincerely wants to shave, you can give ordained as a monk for them anywhere .” Kao Chenru folded his palms and stood up. "Master, please teach us a ordination ceremony, so that we can follow the teaching of bhikkhu vows in the future." The Buddha replied: "Just follow what I usually do." Ma Sheng stood up and said: "Master, you are very dignified, of course you don't need a grand ceremony. But the rest of us need it. Senior Brother Xi Chenru, maybe you can provide a form for the Buddha to add." Chen Ru thought for a while before saying: "Dear Buddha, I think the first procedure should be that the bhikkhu who made the vow should shave off his beard and hair. After that, he has to learn how to put on the robe. After putting on the robe, he can Expose your right shoulder as usual, and then kneel in front of the preceptor. It is correct for the monk to kneel down, because the preceptor represents the Buddha. Next, the bhikkhu should fold his palms and sincerely recite three times: 'I take refuge in the Buddha' He is the person who led me to practice the Dao in this life. Self-refuge to the Dharma. It is the way of understanding and loving-kindness. Self-refuge to the Sangha. It is a group living in harmony and awareness. After reciting these refuge sentences, they are officially joined Buddha's Sangha, become a monk. However, this is just my humble opinion, please correct me, master." The Buddha replied: "Kai Chenru, this is very good. Reciting the refuge text three times and kneeling in front of the preceptor is enough for the ordination ceremony." The Sangha is very happy with this decision. A few days later, the Buddha put on his robes and left Sarnath alone with his bowl in hand.It was an exceptionally beautiful morning. He walked towards the Ganges, preparing to go back to Magadha. It was not the first time Buddha traveled from Rajgaha to Gaya.He walked slowly, admiring the surrounding forests and rice fields along the road.It was nearly noon.He stopped to beg for food in a small town along the road. After begging for food, he went into the nearby woods to eat quietly, and then walked meditation there. Then, he sat in meditation under the tree again. He really likes being alone in the forest. After sitting in meditation for several hours, a group of well-dressed young men passed by, obviously very agitated.Several of them held musical instruments.Seeing the Buddha, a young man walking at the front nodded to the Buddha and asked, "Monk, do you see a woman walking by here?" The Buddha replied, "Is there anything you can do with her?" The young man started from the beginning. They are all from Rajagha. That morning, they took instruments and a woman, and went out to the forest to have fun together. After they danced and danced, they lay down on the ground and took a nap.But when they woke up, they found that the women and their jewelry were gone.Since then, they have been looking for her whereabouts. The Buddha looked at the young man calmly, and replied: "Tell me, friends, which one do you think is more important at this moment, to find that woman or to find yourself?" The young people were a little stunned. The Buddha's captivating appearance and his particular problem turned their heads around. The young man who took the lead replied: "Master, maybe we all want to find ourselves first." Buddha said: "Life can only be found in the present moment, but we seldom devote ourselves to the present moment. Instead, we like to chase the past or look forward to the future. We often think that we are ourselves, but in fact we have always been very seldom true to ourselves. Contact. Our minds are only busy chasing yesterday's memories and tomorrow's dreams. The only way to reconnect with life is to come back to this moment. Only when you come back to this moment will you wake up. And just Only then can you find your true self. " "Look at these young leaves embraced by the sun. Have you ever really looked at them with a peaceful and awakened heart? This green tint is one of the rare things in life. If you never really look at it , please watch it now." The young people fell silent. Each of them followed the Buddha's finger with their eyes, looking at the green leaves rippling slightly in the cool afternoon breeze. After a while, the Buddha turned his head and said to the young man sitting on his right: "I see you have a flute. Please play a song for us." Although a little shy, the young man brought the flute to his mouth and started playing.Everyone pays attention. The sound of the flute is like that of a disappointed lover weeping sadly.Buddha's eyes never left the young man playing the flute. As soon as he finished playing, the forest at noon was immediately covered with a layer of mist.No one spoke until the young man reached out and handed the flute to the Buddha, and said, "Dear monk, please play it for us." Just as the Buddha was smiling, people couldn't help laughing when it was caused, thinking that their friend was making fun of themselves.Has anyone ever heard a monk play the flute? So when they saw the Buddha taking the flute with both hands, they were all surprised. All of them turned their eyes to the Buddha, and everyone was inevitably curious. The Buddha took several deep breaths and put the flute to his lips. The image of a young boy who played the flute long ago in the garden of King Kapilavastu came to the Buddha's mind.It was a full moon night. He could see Mahapajapati sitting on a stone bench and listening quietly.Yasodhara lit the sandalwood in the censer over there again.Buddha began to play. The sound was as delicate as a wisp of smoke, slowly curling up from the roof of a dwelling outside the city of Kapilavatthu in the evening. The silky smoke spread across the sky like a cloud, and gradually turned into a thousand-petaled lotus flower, each petal of which shone with different colors of brilliance.
