Master Buxu was a military general in the Sui Dynasty. He became a monk and took refuge in Tiantai Mountain during the troubled times at the end of the Sui Dynasty and the beginning of the Tang Dynasty. "Master Buxu's Prophecy" is an essay written by Master Buxu.According to legend, on the seventh day of the first lunar month in the 30th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, Layman Gao Jinghan, the owner of the Qingxu Building in Biyun Temple in Xishan, Beijing, invited Sui Chong's Buxu Zhenjun to surrender his ji.In the early years of the Republic of China, this shamanism once again caused a sensation for a while. In the prophecy of the whole scriptures, it mentioned major events such as the death of Emperor Guangxu and the demise of the Qing court. Therefore, the person who wrote this scriptures was considered to be a certain god, so he was able to know the events of thousands of years later. .In the immortal system of Taoism, earth immortals or human immortals can predict events hundreds of years later. Therefore, Master Buxu, who went up to the mountain to become a Taoist, is believed by later generations to have ascended to become an earth immortal or human immortal.

The beginning of "Master Buxu's Prophecy" wrote a preface, which mentioned: "In the past, due to the random picking of Bodhi in the Sui Dynasty, I strayed into the west of Tiantai Shibao. I drink the flowing clouds in the morning and quench my thirst, and eat jade dew at night to satisfy my hunger. Facing the wall for nine years. Ten generations have changed new rituals. If you want me to make a way and miss you, it is difficult to reveal the secrets of Zen." This poem is considered to be a self-narrated life practice of Master Buxu.Because of the war in the Sui Dynasty, he went to the mountains to practice Taoism, and it took him 9 years of hard work before he finally attained Taoism.Because I accidentally looked back and wrote this prophetic poem without thinking about it, the secret was leaked.

"Master Buxu's Prophecy" is only 480 words in total, but it is this article of less than 500 words that has witnessed various major historical events related to the life of the family and the country in the subsequent history. At the beginning of the whole prophecy poem, it is mentioned: "The clouds are dark, the fog is sad, the dragon returns to the clay to make a macaque, the three-year-old child has three blessings, the water flows without a master under the moon, and the vast hectares of smoke will be harvested once." This poem, It has always been considered to be telling the story of Emperor Xuantong in the late Qing Dynasty. The so-called "clouds are dark, fog is sad" means that the court at that time was ruled by the Empress Dowager Cixi behind a curtain, so the sun and the moon appeared dark above the temple, and even the floating fog became gloomy. "Longgui Clay Molded Macaque" means that the real real dragon emperor got into the soil, but worshiped the clay monkey in the court hall. The implication is that Emperor Xuantong is the clay monkey, and the "dragon" that really represents the emperor is the elder father and brother who have passed away.

There is also an allusion to the enthronement of Emperor Xuantong.According to historical records, Emperor Xuantong was only a 3-year-old child when he ascended the throne. Because of the cold weather and the lengthy and boring enthronement ceremony, Emperor Xuantong cried loudly while sitting on the dragon chair. The 3-year-old child has never seen such a big scene. At that time, Emperor Xuantong was held by the regent and sat on the dragon chair. When Emperor Xuantong kept crying, the regent kept saying to him: "It will be over in a while, and it will be over in a while." However, this sentence was like a spell, and it accidentally hit the Qing Dynasty. His fate is not long. Therefore, in the subsequent "Master Buxu's Prophecy", it was immediately written that "a three-year-old child has three years of blessings", implying that Emperor Xuantong only had three years of blessings, and after that was the beginning of a great catastrophe.

In the last sentence "Under the moon, the water flows in the air", some people tried to explain this line of poetry with the method of deciphering characters, but no such word appeared in either traditional or simplified characters. The only explanation that is a bit of a mouthful is that starting from the word "zhu", there is a "water flowing in the air", and when the water flows dry, this is the character "qing" in the Qing Dynasty. The water dries up at three o'clock, and there is no owner under the moon. The owner has gone to the moon. Except for the word "Qing" in the Qing Dynasty, other explanations seem even more absurd.

After the prophecy poem, it is mentioned that "once ten thousand hectares of smoke and waves are harvested", it means that thousands of miles of rivers and mountains will disappear in an instant, and it will only take one day for the whole of China to change dynasties. And "once" is the word "Xuan" of Emperor Xuantong, no doubt this sentence refers to the demise of the Qing Dynasty. The next paragraph mentions the democratic revolution that overthrew the Qing court. "The king is the ancestor, the quality is gentle, the long rainbow breaks the waves for thousands of miles, the jade flute is played in the Yellow Crane Tower, the eight directions sing triumphant songs, and the five colors of the flags are replaced with new ones." According to the inference of later generations, the reference meaning of this poem is much clearer. .

"Junzuozu" means "you are the ancestor".With ancestors, there will naturally be grandchildren. The "gentle and gentle" in the latter sentence is not a complete sentence. The whole sentence comes from, which mentions "gentlemanship, then a gentleman", and the only thing in the prophecy poem is that the word "wen" is hidden, which is precisely the focus of its narration. Therefore, the combination of these two sentences refers to Mr. Sun Wen, the president of the Republic of China. "Thousands of miles of Changhong and breaking the waves" means that Mr. Sun Wen went all the way for the Chinese revolution, traveling thousands of miles from Honolulu in the United States to ride the wind and waves to return to his motherland. Therefore, on the one hand, this sentence is realistic, but on the other hand, it is extremely symbolic to mention that the huge waves that Mr. Sun Wen broke are all kinds of stubborn conservative forces that hinder the progress of the Chinese democratic revolution.

Afterwards, Master Buxu's prophetic poem changed the topic to the Yellow Crane Tower. "Blowing the jade flute in the Yellow Crane Tower" means that the horn of revolution also sounded on the Yellow Crane Tower. This is Li Yuanhong's residence, and it is also the place where he announced that he would help Sun Wen to carry out the revolution. "Eight parties sing triumphant songs" is trying to describe the turbulent momentum of the democratic revolution. A single spark will surely start a prairie fire. Until the last sentence, "The five colors of the flags are replaced by new ones", it is more clearly and unexpectedly consistent with history. After the revolution, a country must be established, and the national flag of the Republic of China is the five-color flag.So this poem also points out the ultimate victory of the revolution.

In the following, Master Buxu also mentioned historical events such as Yuan Shikai's rebellion and the Northern Expedition of the National Revolutionary Army by name. And at the end of the whole prophecy poem, Master Buxu also mentioned a world of Datong. The poem reads: "The world is divided into three parts, there are sages coming out, the black crown, the dragon stretches its clothes, the heaven and the earth restore light, manage all things, sing praises from all over the world, and receive their blessings." This sentence has always been regarded as the end of the whole prophecy and the final destination of human history. "Three divisions of the world" is a great event, a manifestation of troubled times, and eventually there will be saints with black hair and yellow clothes - some people argue that this sentence refers to monks in yellow clothes. "Heaven and earth restore light, govern all things" means that all things will be judged by the good and evil they show, and only those who are good will be blessed.

In fact, this ultimate prophecy looks more like a quote to teach people to be kind. After all, at the end of the prophecy poem, Master Buxu also wrote: "The number of the vast sky is hard to know, but it is too empty for the common people. The old monk dare not talk too much, for fear of being punished for revealing the secrets of heaven." What is the direction of history, Only God knows.Who is the protagonist of history can only be revealed at the end of the play.A person who has attained immortality and Taoism like Master Buxu does not dare to reveal too many secrets, so why do the world bother to search for the elusive destiny from the inconclusive prophecy poems!
