Chapter 49 Maid and Actress (Part 2)

Red Mansion Heart Solution 俞平伯 4935Words 2018-03-20
In the book, everyone is envious of the wealth and honor of Rongguo Mansion, but Lingguan is not.All the daughters in the Grand View Garden like Baoyu, but Lingguan does not.She only thinks that "your family has brought good people here and locked them in this prison to learn from such troublesome people", and regards the Fengting and Moon Pavilion in the Grand View Garden as a "prison pit", that is, Daiyu Qingwen and others are ashamed, What about Baochai attacking people! There is also Liu Wu'er who can't enter the garden when she sleeps and dreams. In this way, of course she will not stay long.In the fifty-eighth chapter when the twelve girls were dismissed, she was not singled out, and she was only mentioned in the phrase "only four or five girls are willing to go" (p. 640). "At the end of the song, people are gone, and there are many peaks on the river." She has never seen each other since then.

Since the disbandment of the fifty-eighth session of the Lixiangyuan, the children of the actors and actresses have dispersed in a romantic manner, quite like the "Analects of Confucius? Wei Zi" said that the atmosphere of the dispersion of music officials. Those who have not gone are more active in each room in the garden.Prior to this, only the age officials were mentioned in the book, and few others were mentioned.Fifty-eight look back and say that the lotus official burned the paper, was seen by the mother-in-law, and wanted to report it, and got Baoyu to rescue her. When she asked the reason, she was embarrassed to say it directly, and she just asked Fang Guan to find out.Looking back at Zaifangguan's passage explaining the mutual love relationship between lotus root, and Ruiguan, Baoyu made another big discussion. This kind of story is consistent with the chapter "Fake Phoenix Weeping Virtual Phoenix", the problem lies in the purpose of writing this book.In my previous "Reading Essays on a Dream of Red Mansions", in its thirty-three "Reviews of a Dream of Red Mansions" [41], I roughly said that the catalog of fifty-eight chapters seems to be listed in parallel, but it is a contextual relationship. True to false, true to false. As far as the characters are concerned, the ending of Huibao, Dai, and Chai is hinted at by the stories of Hui Ou, Ruiguan, and Houhui. For the sake of saving space, I will not repeat it here, but only make a supplementary explanation.

That article is very detailed, and it has been hurt by the tediousness, and there is still one important omission, which does not mention the most prominent point in this chapter: "Sin's Screen".Why stand out? "Akane's Screen" is completely missing in this article. There is Zhengqi's original work "Qianhongsha", but "Qianhongsha" is also missing. This Qian screen window should refer to Yihong Courtyard, so why not just refer to Yihong Courtyard? Why not write it that way?Besides, is there any screen window in Yihong Courtyard? It is also a problem.

Everyone knows that the Xiaoxiang Pavilion has Qian screen windows (Chapter 40, pages 422 and 423), but it doesn't have to be exclusive, and it can naturally be used in the Yihong Courtyard. For example, Daiyu said in Chapter 79: "Now we are all window partitions with Xiaying gauze." It can be seen that the Xiaoxiang Pavilion of Yihong Court has the windows covered with Xiaying gauze, so it is relatively simple to say.But looking at it again, it makes people confused. "...But there is only one thing: Although this change is extremely new and wonderful, you can live here, but I really don't dare to do it." As he spoke, he said "dare not" one or two hundred times in succession.Daiyu laughed and said, "Why not. My window can be your window. Why should it be so unfamiliar? The ancients have different surnames and strangers, but they are still the same as fat horses, and their clothes are light, so we have no regrets, let alone us." Baoyu said with a smile: "It's not about fat horses and light fur, even gold and white jade, and it's not about competing with silver and baht. It's this abrupt boudoir, which is absolutely unacceptable." (pp. 904, 905)

Daiyu said, "My window can be your window", and Baoyu said, "It is absolutely impossible." But is there no Qiang screen window in Yihong Courtyard? I think the "Sis screen window" in the fifty-eight chapters of "True Love and Crazy Reason" is what Bao and Dai talked about in the seventy-nine chapters, that is, the final revision of "Furong" "Under the Qian screen window, I have no chance; the loess ridge Among them, "Qian He Sha Chuang" in "Qing He Bo Ming".Based on the facts of the fifty-eight chapters, Fang Guan and Baoyu talked in Yihong Courtyard, and the Qian screen window should belong to the Yihong Courtyard; in terms of meaning, referring to Daiyu's death, the Qian screen window should belong to the Xiaoxiang Pavilion. Therefore, although you can see the back, you can't see the article, and you can't see it.If Fangguan Baoyu slightly clicked the word "Qiansha" when he was talking, the story would be confirmed, and it was limited to the Yihong Courtyard at that time. Now it is written alternately, which creates a strange phenomenon that the recitation does not seem to match the article.Let's quote a conversation between Fangguan and Baoyu:

Fang Guan said with a smile: "There is friendship, he is actually a crazy and silly idea. He said that he is a Xiaosheng, the official is a Xiaodan, and they are often husband and wife; Thoughtful thing: So the two of them went crazy. Although they didn’t act in dramas, the two of them ate and sat up and down, but you loved me. Once the official died, he cried to death. He still doesn’t forget it, so he burned paper every session. Later, Ruiguan was replaced. , we saw his general tenderness and considerateness, and we also asked him to get new ones and discard old ones. He said: "This is very reasonable. For example, if a man loses his wife, or if he has to be a continuation, it is necessary to renew the string; but it is only If you don’t forget about death, you will be deeply affectionate. If you blindly stay alone for the rest of your life because of the continuation of death, it’s unreasonable, and the deceased will feel uneasy.’ You said, but you are crazy and dumb It's funny to say." Baoyu heard this nonsense, and he was alone with his stupidity. He felt joy and lament at the same time. Disgrace the world with my filthy bastard." (page 647)

The lotus officials replaced the old ones with new ones, but they didn't seem to be single-minded, and their words may not be very good. Baoyu's "extraordinary way" also surprised us.Since it is said in the book that this nonsense is only in line with Baoyu's stupidity, the narration here is obviously related to the later chapters. And after this quotation, Baoyu told Fangguan to tell Ouguan that she should not burn paper again in the future, and how to commemorate it; Baoyu personally implemented such a method in the 78th Festival of Qingwen. This is the main meaning of these fifty-eight chapters.Otherwise, the homosexuality of female actresses seems quite insignificant, so there is no need to spend more precious words.Although the way of looking back is ingenious, if you look at it in general, it is not awkward. This sentence is self-righteous, and it is like two relative sentences. "Fake Phoenix Weeps and False Phoenix" is very good; "True Love and Crazy Literacy" is difficult to understand, and it is difficult to translate it into vernacular. In the version, there is a mistake in "揆" as "dial"[42], which shows that later generations do not understand it very well.If this is the case, it is because the meaning is deep and hidden; otherwise, he can write more beautifully.

After Baoyu broke up with her by burning paper at the lotus official, I went to see Daiyu again. There were only two lines (pages six, four and three) in the school book. , although it seems to be slightly overdone, it is careless or not wrong. Although the above mentioned lotus officials, there is actually very little talk about lotus officials. Among the twelve girls in Rikain, the first half of Chapter 80 features Yilingguan and the second half features Yifangguan, both of which are excellent.Since Fangguan was assigned to Yihongyuan, there are stories about her in chapters 58 to 60, 62, and 63.In terms of appearance and makeup, it is written meticulously:

That Fangguan was only wearing a begonia red padded jacket, green silk trousers with patterned patterns underneath, his trouser legs were open, his hair like black oil was hanging behind his head, and he was crying like a tearful person.Musk Moon said with a smile, "You turned a Miss Yingying into a tortured matchmaker. Now you don't need makeup, it's alive, and it's still so loose." Baoyu said: "He has a very good face, but don't Tighten the lining." (Fifty-eighth Guoshun, page 645 of the school version. The quotations here refer to Qi's version and "Draft of a Dream of Red Mansions")

At that time, Fangguan was full of enthusiasm, and he was only wearing a small paddy field jacket with jade-colored, red, and green camel hair[44] and three-color satin, and a willow-green sweat scarf; There is a small braid on the eyebrows and forehead on the head, which ends at the top, and a thin braid the thickness of a goose egg is tied behind the head; there is only a small jade plug the size of a grain of rice in the right ear, and a single belt on the left ear. Wearing a big hard red pendant inlaid with gold the size of a ginkgo fruit: the more obvious the face is as white as the full moon, the eyes are as clear as autumn water. The people quoted laughed and said: "The two of them are like twin brothers." (Chapter 63, pages 696 and 697)

In this Hui Zhiben such as Geng and Qi, there are Fang officials who changed their names to Yeluxiongnu, and Wendulina each section[45].Not only among the twelve girls in Lixiangyuan, but also among the twelve beauties, Fangguan described the person most in the author's pen.She is written very intelligently, beautifully, innocently and cutely, but also has many shortcomings, relying on the strong to grab the top, so as to gain power, such as Wu'er of the Liu family, who wants to follow her (chapter 60, page 663).She has become a new celebrity around Baoyu. In this way, in the Yihong Courtyard where jealous pets compete for beauty, there is no one who does not attract jealousy.Qingwen is also unavoidable, she always speaks out, but Xiren is very deep, peaceful on the surface, and doesn't say anything, sometimes Qingwen speaks, and she also rescues Fangguan, as in the sixty-third chapter of Fangguan After eating with Baoyu: Baoyu smiled and told the two of them about the meal they had just eaten.Xiren smiled and said: "I said you are a cat food, it is good to smell the fragrance. The rice in the pot is fragrant. Even so, you should go up to accompany them. It should be a good scene." Qingwen poked Fang with her finger. The official said on his forehead: "You are a coquettish girl! What time did you go to eat? Why did the two of you make an appointment? Don't tell us a word." The attacker laughed and said, "It's just a chance encounter. It is said that the appointment has been made, but there is nothing." (p. 690) She seems like a nice gentleman. When we see the seventy-seventh chapter being expelled: Mrs. Wang said with a smile: "You are still talking! Let me ask you: Who instigated Baoyu to ask Wu'er, the girl of Liu's family, when we went to the imperial mausoleum two years ago? Fortunately, the girl died short-lived. Otherwise, if you come in, you You even ganged up with a party and harmed this garden. You even bullied your godmother, not just others!" (page 874) How did Mrs. Wang know?Could it be that Wang Shanbao's family also reported it?Or is there someone else in Yihong Courtyard? Therefore, it is very reasonable for Baoyu to mention Fangguan as the first to question Xiren. Later critics said that Fangguan's song "Cuifeng Maoling tied a broomstick" in the sixty-third chapter also had a moral [46]. I don't believe it, but her ending is indeed classified into Buddhism. In the seventy-seventh chapter of the table of contents, this matter is mentioned together with Qingwen's death, so its importance can be seen. However, Qingwen's death is clearly visible to people's eyes and ears. Legend has it that her singing and performance have not declined to this day, but the ending of Fang, Ou and Rui is rarely mentioned. It is said that after they went out, they looked for death and work, and they wanted to cut their hair and become nuns. Their godmothers had no choice but to ask Mrs. Wang for instructions: After hearing this, Mrs. Wang said: "Nonsense! They are allowed to get up there! Buddhism is easy for people to enter. Give them a beating for each person, and see if there is any trouble." In the past, there have been examples of nuns from various temples sending offerings. Mrs. Wang once left the Zhitong of Shuiyue Nunnery and the Yuanxin of Dizang Nunnery for two days, and she has not returned. Hearing this letter, she wished to abduct two more girls. Going to work, because they all said to Mrs. Wang: "Our family is a kind family after all. Because my wife is so kind, I feel that these little girls are like this. Although Buddhism is easy and difficult to enter, we must know that Buddhism is equal. My Buddha To make a wish is to save all sentient beings, regardless of chickens and dogs, but they are so charming that they cannot wake up. If there are good roots to wake up, they can transcend reincarnation. Therefore, there are many tigers, wolves, snakes and insects in the scriptures who have achieved the Tao. Now these two Since the three girls have no father or mother, and their hometown is far away, they have experienced this wealth, but they also want to suffer from childhood, and they will know what their lives will be like in the future after entering this fashion; It's also their high intentions. Madam, don't limit your kindness." Mrs. Wang was originally a kind person who listened to their words first and refused to listen to her freedom. But I am afraid that I will not be able to survive in the future, and I will be convicted instead. It makes sense to listen to the words of these two kidnappers today; and there have been many incidents at home recently...there is focus on these small things. After hearing this, he smiled and replied, "Since you two have said this, how about you take it with you as apprentices?" The second aunt heard this, said a Buddha, and said, "Good! Good! If so, but you The old man has a lot of evil virtues." After speaking, he bowed his head and thanked him.Mrs. Wang said: "Since this is the case, you can ask them. If you are sincere, come up and worship the master in front of me." The three women heard it, and they brought the three of them.Mrs. Wang asked again and again, and the three of them had made up their minds, so they kowtowed to the two aunts and bid farewell to Mrs. Wang.Mrs. Wang saw that they were all determined, and she knew that she could not force it. Instead, she was sad and pitiful. She hurriedly ordered people to fetch some things, rewarded them, and gave some gifts to her two sisters-in-law.From then on, Fangguan followed Zhitong from Shuiyue Temple, and Ruiguan Ouguan followed the center of Dizang Temple, and each went to become a monk. (Pages 883 and 884) The three little girls, Fangguan, Ouguan, and Ruiguan, were abducted by kidnappers! This paragraph of text is quite dry, and it is plain to say, and Mrs. Wang is called kind.On the surface, Mrs. Wang's handling of this matter is quite lenient, she doesn't hinder people's good thoughts, but "instead of being sad and pitiful" when it comes to the end, she "rewarded them"; When the officials left, they were very straightforward, and they didn't cry: it seemed that there was nothing, and it was far worse than the misery of Qingwen being kicked out. However, one point of the word "guai" and two points of "guaizi" make a ninety-degree turn.Mrs. Wang's false mercy, cruelty, knowing in her heart, pretending to be foolish, nun's deception and insidiousness, children's ignorance and pitifulness, and the painter's incomprehension are all written out one by one. It's a bit creepy to read. It can't help but remind people of the person Xiangling met at the beginning of this book. What Xiangling met was indeed a kidnapper, but this is not the case here. It is clearly a Shuiyue nunnery, a Dizang nunnery, and two good nuns, but they went straight to the nun. Call it "two kidnappers".Kidnappers are also those who abduct people as a profession, and this is too much.not at all. What the author said is the most profound and appropriate, but he is not a kidnapper, but a nun, and a nun is also a kidnapper. Here, it completely breaks through all kinds of pretense of transcendence, ecstasy and ecstasy that have been passed down since ancient times, and directly exposes the fraud, greed and cruelty of the so-called "monastics".To be called a kidnapper should not be ashamed, and is extremely cold.I don't know if there will be more to come later, anyway, this is enough. However, such a good article, it seems that few people say how miserable it is, but there are some reasons. At first glance, it seems to follow the wishes of the people. The book says that "the three of them have made up their minds"; it also says that "Mrs. Wang sees that they are all determined, so she knows how to force it."When they were sent away for the first time, more than half of those who did not want to go home were originally homeless, which was explained in the fifty-eighth chapter. In the environment of the Grand View Garden in Rongguo Mansion, they were also contaminated with a little Buddhist atmosphere, and had some erroneous longings for Buddhism, which is what my aunt said, "Because my wife is so kind, so all the little girls I feel are like this."Besides, although this text is very good, there are still contradictions in the whole book and this chapter, which seem to be incongruous. For example, if you look back and say "Mei Youling returns to Shuiyue", it still seems that the consciousness of confession is voluntary.Judging from the whole book, some myths are written in the first chapter of writing, such as Zhen Shiyin and Liu Xianglian, all drifted away with Taoists, and they did not know where they ended up. It is easy to make people mistake Fangguan and the others for going in the same way; Walk the path of liberation instead of falling into the pit.Misunderstandings like this may not have nothing to do with the original book. As shown in the book, Miaoyu, an outsider, and Xichun, who is "lying alone next to the ancient Buddha with a green lamp", are not very clear about how it ended. We must see through these dark clouds and mists with a critical eye, in order to discover the true face of "Douxiu".Where does the critical eye come from? On the one hand, one must be eager to learn and think deeply, and more importantly, to constantly improve the level of thinking, and use the Marxist-Leninist class viewpoint and class analysis method to conduct scientific research.Cao Xueqin was born in the early eighteenth century, and he was able to write critical realism masterpieces like this. We commemorate him today, we must learn from his posthumous writings, and more importantly, learn from his writing methods; we must learn from him All kinds of description skills, but also to learn his generalization and criticism. This article has been written very long, and I still feel insufficient after writing it. It is not enough to get a glimpse of the great face of this book, and I am afraid that there are too many mistakes. It is urgent for readers to criticize and correct. July 1, 1963, Beijing.
