Chapter 38 The seventh floor "Red Mansion" inkstone (4)

She has made it clear that she is not only the person in the dream (that is, the person in the book, the word dream follows the title of the above book, which is a pun), but also seems to have this big dream especially for the person in the dream—after all the ups and downs By.Then this person is obviously one of the main characters in the book, so why doubt it?Thinking back and forth: Baoyu is the best, there are three women who are one of the protagonists in the book but not Rongning's real surname: Chai, Dai and Shi Xiangyun.According to Xueqin's original book, Dai died young, and even though Chai married Baoyu, she did not grow old together, and their family backgrounds were very different from Baoyu's.Only Xiangyun's family background is almost the same as Jia's, and she alone did not die early, and according to the above three banquets, Xiangyun happened to be there, and there was no disagreement once.So I suspect that this Zhiyan is the artistic prototype of Xiangyun in the book, right? So I followed this conjecture to search for "Zhipi".

The twenty-fifth chapter writes that Mrs. Wang is fondling Baoyu, and criticizes with a pair of lines: All those who lost their mothers in childhood, come and cry together! After Baoyu recovered from his illness, Mrs. Wang waited as if she had found a treasure, and another side criticized: How can Haotian Wangji's kindness be repaid?Crying for those who lost their parents when they were young! And the thirty-third time, a pair of lines clamped to criticize the cloud: Those who have not lost their mothers come to play carefully, and those who have lost their mothers come to cry bitterly!

Chai lost his father and Dai lost his mother, and Xiangyun was the only one who lost both his parents and became an orphan since childhood.I went back to find the booklet and the song text of the fifth chapter. In the sixth song "Sorrow in Music", it said when it came up: "My parents sighed and died when I was a baby. Who knows how to care for me when I live in that grove." Criticism on the side here: The meaning is true and the words are so sharp that people who come here will inevitably lose their voices when they see it! The end of this piece of music says that "for a long time, the clouds scattered in Gaotang, and the water dried up in the Xiangjiang River". ①

The seventy-third chapter writes that daughter-in-laws instigate Tanchun to Mrs. Xing, and the two lines criticize: Kill, kill, kill! This generation is divorced.Yu Yin was actually bewitched by it.Reading this article today, I want to draw my sword and split paper! This refers to the slaves, those who "bewitched" said that they were abused because they were provoked by them.Note that Mrs. Xing and Yu Tanchun are aunts. If it is Chai and Dai, there are no aunts or aunts in the family, and there is absolutely no talk of being bewitched.Only Xiangyun has no parents to live with his aunt and aunt, and it is clearly stated in the book that he was wronged by his uncle and aunt.

In the thirty-eighth chapter, when Jia Mu came to borrow the Champs Pavilion, she mentioned the old story of her natal family when she was young. She used to play with her sisters in Zhenxia Pavilion and fell into the water. Here is a double-line clip to criticize the cloud: Seeing that he suddenly used the language of Jia Mu's number ("Qi Ben" has no number) and made up the book in a leisurely way, it seems that there is already a book of twelve beauties. ("Qi Ben" ends here) It is impossible to see at a glance!Yu Ze will want to make up (the original mistake was removed, the word was mistakenly made into the word, more than one place) comes to the twelve hairpins in Zhenxia Pavilion, why (the original mistakenly determined, the cursive writing is incorrect) will not add another new book?

Zhenxia Pavilion was originally an old affair of Jia Mu's natal family, that is, an old affair of Xiangyun's family.Let me ask, who is qualified to supplement this new book if it is not from "Jia Mu"'s own family? If you admit this point, then there will be many comments, which have not been paid much attention before, and will have new meanings. For example, in the second Leng Zixing's speech, when he mentioned "Jinling Shixun Shi Hou's family", he criticized: Because of Xiangyun and it. It was also mentioned that Daishan passed away early, and Mrs. Tai was still alive, so he criticized again:

Note: Xiangyun's aunt Shi Shi's Taijun is also. In the thirteenth chapter, when it was mentioned that "the wife of Zhongjinghou Shi Ding is here", he criticized: Miss Shi Xiangyun news also. Those who seem to be all critics are especially cherished. When they are not on the stage, they will be marked first. For another example, in the 20th chapter of "Nanjing Edition", there is a large circle around the sentence that is uniquely added by the original pen. This phenomenon is very special and should have its meaning. It seems that they can be watched together. The twenty-sixth chapter writes that Daiyu called the door, but met Qingwen who was angry, and Daiyu explained loudly that it was "I", and there was a comment beside:

Like Daiyu's loud voice, it's just as loud as you and I usually speak.Kuang Qingwen used to be an impetuous and angry person, how can she tell?At this moment, the book critic must sing Da Jiangdong's throat and shout: "it's me, Lin Daiyu, calling the door!" If there are bad comments in vulgar books, this is another slapstick, which is very disgusting.Once you know the special nature of "Zhipi", you can ignore it and enjoy it with a different perspective and discover its meaning. Here we compare Daiyu, who is obviously of the same female class, so the voice can be compared; the later part talks about singing and shouting, which is exactly the tone of a strong and strong woman with a high-pitched voice. When we thought about how Xiangyun was a high-spirited, "bright wind and bright moon" like a heroic girl, we felt that this comment was just right for him.

Is Zhiyan really Xiangyun? We can divert the topic, Mr. Wen Yiwen and Yu Pingbo's "Dream of Red Mansions", in the so-called "Old True Version of Dream of Red Mansions" chapter, he first quoted "The Lost Story of Red Mansions" in "Xiang Notes" published by Shanghai Jingbao: After eighty chapters, all of them have been changed by others, and the world knows it well.A certain note said that someone had seen the old authentic version, and dozens of texts in the later chapters were completely different from the current version. After the disappearance of Rongning's nationality, he was extremely depressed.Baochai died early.Baoyu had no idea of a home, and was reduced to a battle against watchtowers.Shi Xiangyun was a beggar, and later married Baoyu.

Fortunately, this "some note" has been collected by Jiang Ruizao in "Fiction Research" (Volume Seven, Page 89). It was originally "Continued Reading Notes from Weicaotang". This book is very popular, and I especially like to read it.However, after a hundred chapters, it was not done by one person.Mrs. Dai Juncheng once saw an old authentic version. After eighty chapters, it is not the same as today. After the disappearance of Rongning's family, they were all very depressed, Baochai also died early, Baoyu was not a writer, until he fell into the ranks of the watchtowers; It is also said that "because of the unicorn's white-headed double star".I heard that there is a copy in Wu Runsheng's Zhongcheng family Shangzang (original work Zang), but unfortunately it was not mentioned when he was in Beijing. Once he becomes popular again, he will definitely read it in order to expand what he has never seen. (Note: There is a discrepancy in the number of quotations in Yu Shu, which is based on the fourth edition of "Fiction Research").

This record is very important. No one has ever understood the recollection of "White-headed Twin Stars", but here is an explanation. Now there are two questions worth considering: Is this legend reliable? If it is reliable and there was such a copy, is it Xueqin's original copy or someone else's continuation?Regarding the first question, there is evidence in the book "Dream Discrimination": In addition to the quotations from "The Lost Story of the Red Chamber" and "The Textual Research of the Novel", there is another evidence for the existence of this supplementary edition. Jie Gang said: "Jiequan (Pan Jiaxun Jun) once saw a vulgar "Continuing Dream of the Red Chamber" A book of this kind begins with a beggar in Xiangyun. It can be seen that the one Jiequan saw was a supplementary copy." This is no coincidence.Secondly, he cited the narrator surnamed Dai, and a certain governor surnamed Wu from Tibet (at first I thought this person was Wu Dashan, who also served as the governor of Hunan and Gansu. and the Bannerman may have some relationship with the Cao family. But he died in the thirty-sixth year of Qianlong, and Ji Yun wrote his notebooks fifty-four years later. , so they did not agree. After that, there were Wu Yingfen, Wu Shaoshi, Wu Shigong and other governors, all of whom were too early. Only Wu Hubing [from Shanyin, Jiangsu] who served in the 40th year of Qianlong and Wu Yuanzheng [the author of the Guangxi General Chronicle] who served in the 49th year of Qianlong Heng, from Haifeng, Shandong] Two governors of Guangxi, relatively similar), well-founded, not like spreading rumors, I think he would not be so boring. From today's point of view, a Gao E, only 20 years after Xueqin's death, unexpectedly continued dozens of books, managed to maintain a tragic ending, and broke the traditional reunion pattern, which is already a phoenix out of the old crow's nest.If it is said that before Gao, there was a continuation of the book, and it was so brilliant, and it formed an even more tragic scene of complete failure. Although this is not absolutely impossible, it is obvious that it is unimaginable.Because the narration in the "Notes" is not very detailed, it is not easy to find deeds from the "Zhipi" to check the truth of the authenticity, because the original intention of "Zhipi" is not to predict all subsequent events, The sporadic fragments we know now are only involved occasionally because of necessity, and they can be glimpsed. Therefore, we cannot require that there must be reminders of Xiangyun beggars, Baoyu hitting watchtower, and reunion in the "Zhipi".However, "in a blink of an eye beggars will be slandered by everyone" is a sentence in the annotation of "Good Song", everyone knows it.Also, in the nineteenth chapter of "Qi Ben", there is Baoyu's later "choking sour in the cold winter, and breaking the felt in the snowy night".Coupled with the review of the "white-headed twin stars" in the first eighty chapters, there are clues, so it can be said that there are no traces to be found. Before there is no hard evidence to disprove the authenticity of this "authentic book", I would rather believe that it is the real book, at least it is a follow-up book close to the plot of Xueqin's original book.In short, Xiangyun finally married Baoyu after going through ups and downs. It is very interesting to compare it with the above speculation.
