When they heard of Miaoyu's disaster, they were shocked and sighed angrily.

After Mingyan and his wife left, they still had a heart-to-heart talk.Baoyu repented again and again, and said, "It was I who harmed her! I shouldn't have given the pot from the kiln to that poor woman. I am really a sinner, and I should suffer for her!" She sighed and shed tears again. Ziying comforted her and said, "Why do you blame this? Could it be that you are not kind in order to help the poor? Why can't you commit a crime?" Baoyu said, "Of course, it's not my crime according to the law, but I feel guilty in my heart. What is it? It is because of me that she has been implicated, even if it is not a crime in the world, it is also a violation of the Buddhist precepts."

Ziying smiled and said: "This is amazing! She is just a nun, why do you have to talk about mind and sex according to Buddhism? I remember you said that when I was young, I loved to slander monks and slander Taoism, and even the maids in the house pointed at her. With this commandment to advise you, why do you talk about Buddhism today?" Baoyu said: "No. I slander the monks and slander the Tao, saying that those fake monks in the world point to gods and Buddhas to deceive ordinary foolish men and women; if we talk about the true Buddhadharma , I still don't really understand it yet, so how dare I talk about slander? This has to be distinguished. That is to say, Miaoyu is very noble and pure, and I admire her very much. She is like gold and jade, and I am dung; From the point of view of the Dharma, I think she is just using Buddhism to avoid disasters and save troubles. She is not really practicing Dharma. Where does Dharma allow people to be arrogant and arrogant, and look down on tens of thousands of people? So what? The Buddha’s nature is equal, how can he save all living beings? I don’t believe in ghosts and gods, but the Buddha is merciful and merciful. In order to save all living beings, he voluntarily went to hell and cut off his limbs. The Buddha has such a heart, how can I slander it? So Miaoyu is just a refined person A deformed girl, but not a real Buddhist disciple."

After hearing this, Ziying couldn't help nodding.Then he said: "It is said that Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is the most effective. He can respond to difficulties according to the sound, manifest spirits, and save people. Miaoyu naturally knows, why doesn't she recite the name of Bodhisattva and pray for salvation?" Baoyu also said: "But what I hope Guanyin's magical power responds and rescues her. But from my point of view, Miaoyu's character is really eccentric and aloof, which is unusual for ordinary people. She probably won't even bow down to pray to Bodhisattvas!"

Ziying was silent for a long while.Suddenly he stood up and asked Baoyu: "Second Master Bao, do you think there can be such a heroic hero as mentioned in the book, flying over the eaves and walls, entering that house, and snatching Miaoyu out?" Baoyu smiled when he heard this, and said: "If you talk about righteous heroes, you are one of them! Then you beat Captain Qiu's son, wasn't it just to save the woman who was suffering and humiliated? I think you can do it— — It’s just that the palace is not comparable to ordinary people’s houses, and without real skills, I’m afraid it’s hard to achieve what you want.”

Ziying was silent.When the boy came in to make tea, Ziying asked, "The old master Shi, the jade maker (zuo) you mentioned yesterday, sent the jade today. If you have a letter, please reply as soon as possible." The boy agreed to leave. Here Baoyu said again: "When it comes to a righteous hero, he is full of heroism, swims with a sword, defies the mighty beam, and specializes in eliminating evil. When it is critical, he will sacrifice his life for others without hesitation. Isn't this kind of heart and behavior also similar to Buddha It is not a fundamental plan to govern the world and stabilize the people."

Hearing this, Ziying lowered her head, and said for a long time: "Your words are right, but I lost my interest—my younger brother is not talented, and he has always regarded himself as a righteous hero. He specializes in fighting injustice and helping others; now listen to you Once you say it, it's worth nothing!" Baoyu hurriedly said: "This is not the case. Everything must be reasonable. For example, if someone has been wronged and suffered, he should go to an upright official to Zhaoxue. How many upright officials are there? Only a few officials are upright and honest. You can't save all people. If you don't ask the government, you go to Guanyin. Guanyin is far away, and whether you should respond or not is unknown. You can see that although the Bodhisattva is merciful, he has not yet saved tens of thousands of people in the world. But you can't say that officials and officials are upright. Bodhisattvas are worthless, useless, and worthless. Then it is wrong again.”——

Ziying didn't wait to finish speaking, and said with a smile: "It turns out that you are not only brilliant in poetry, ten thousand times better than me, but also know how to save the country and help the world! This has always been lacking in experience. It's late today, and I have a little thing to do Let’s do it. I’ll come to listen to your lecture tomorrow.”
