Chapter 5 Chapter 4: The Mystery of Chapter 81 (3)——The Mystery of Xiangling

At the end of the last lecture, I told everyone that Cao Xueqin’s 81st chapter will write about the tragic ending of two women, one is Jia Yingchun in the "Jinling Twelve Beauties" and the other is "Jinling Twelve Beauties" Xiangling inside. At the end of my talk, I ask a question for everyone to discuss. That is to say, in the ancient version, it is written at the beginning that Xiangling is the daughter of Zhen Shiyin, and she has a name, Zhen Yinglian. This is very familiar to everyone, and it is written like this in the current version. And it has a homophonic meaning, Zhen Yinglian, which means "really should be pitiful".If you think about the fate of this woman carefully, it is indeed too pitiful. If Jia Yingchun is the last to be pitiful, then Zhen Yinglian was abducted when she was still ignorant, and was sold when she was raised by the abductee until she could be sold. , In the end, it fell into the hands of Xue Pan, the overlord. It was really "fate but no luck", and it "involved parents", which was pitiful. But let me tell you that Zhen Shiyin’s daughter’s name is written differently in different ancient books. I personally think that it is not caused by a clerical error, and it makes sense. It shows that when Cao Xueqin conceived the name of Zhen Shiyin's daughter, how did he design the homophonic meaning, so applauded, or so applauded? It is back and forth. So how is the other name written? It is called Zhen Yingju, the chrysanthemum of chrysanthemum.

There is a big difference between the two characters Ju and Lian. It is impossible that the copyist misunderstood or copied it wrongly. Besides, Zhen Yingju is written in more than one ancient book. Then someone will discuss with me, saying that the meaning of Zhen Yinglian's homonym is very clear-"It should be pitiful"!What is the homophonic meaning of Zhenyingju? There is.Zhiyanzhai told us that there are. What does that mean?It means "you can really use this role to take care of the overall situation". In the first chapter, it was written that Zhen Shiyin was holding the little girl in the street to watch the excitement. At this time, a monk came together. When the monks saw Zhen Shiyin holding the little girl together, the monk said, "Almsgiver, you put What are you holding in your arms for something that has no fate and affects your parents?" A father holding his beloved daughter heard this, of course he thought it was crazy. But in fact it is a prophecy, an ominous prophecy announced. In this place, Zhiyanzhai has comments, and one batch is emotional, just one sentence after another. He first said, "How many heroes died in the eight characters", which eight characters? It means "fate but no luck, involving parents".There is a kind of life that is tragic. Although you have this life, you have no luck at all, or even no luck at all, and the fortune will not slowly deteriorate, but soon you will lose your luck and fall into misery. Luck, bad luck. Not only does this life itself suffer, but it also affects the parents.Later in the book, it is written that after Zhen Shiyin and his wife lost their daughter, they encountered a fire, and their well-off life ended and went into decline. Later, Zhen Shiyin gradually revealed the scene of the next life—that is, leaving the world to die. Therefore, Zhi Yanzhai expressed his emotion, and said: "How many heroes, how many loyal ministers and filial sons, how many benevolent people, how many poets and poets, were sacrificed! Today, the author shed tears again. In the boudoir, you can see that the skirt hairpin has encountered such a number, how about the men in the world?" That is to say, when he saw the author assign these eight characters to a woman in the boudoir, he couldn't help but think of men. Loyal ministers and filial sons, benevolent people with lofty ideals, poets and poets are generally played by men, of course there are occasional women, but it was a patriarchal society at that time, and important roles were generally played by men. It's amazing how many men will "succumb to death".But this book is dedicated to women. The "wedge" at the beginning declares: "Suddenly think of all the women of that day...there are always people in the boudoir", so what about these boudoir women? All "encountered this number", the author uses the woman written in the opening book to take care of the overall situation.

Zhi Yanzhai pointed out more clearly: "Looking at the first woman he wrote in the opening book, if you use this second language to define your life, you will know the meaning of the pretext. Who said that you are only interested in one love word?" Words are too important. It tells us that this book is not a simple love story, it is an all-round exploration of human destiny. The "Twelve Beauties of Jinling" written in the book, the first woman to appear on the stage, she "has no luck, and involves her parents", which is also a common ominous omen for other young women in the book. The author uses this as an excuse to imply that the naming method of Zhen Yingju means that Cao Xueqin once intended to emphasize that the character who was later called Xiangling has the characteristics of taking care of the overall situation.

Although Zhen Yinglian's style of writing was used in a large number of later editions, there are at least two ancient editions of Zhen Yingju's style of writing, as well as Zhi Yanzhai's related comments, which are extremely important for us to understand the tragic connotation of the whole book.Cao Xueqin once decided to name this character Zhen Yingju, just to use her to cover the whole situation. She not only takes care of all the women in the album "Jinling Twelve Hairpins", she also takes care of the man who was wronged to death in society. In such an era and such a society, no matter whether they are loyal ministers and filial sons, no matter they are people with lofty ideals, no matter they are poets and poets, all people with positive values have almost no good endings. This is a tragic era, which produces tragic characters. So what he wrote was about the era, the society, and the survival and destruction of valuable life, not just a partial tragedy of love and marriage. This is the first time we read it, and we should be able to understand it when we read Zhen Yingju or Zhen Yinglian. If you have not experienced it in the past, you should reread and read it carefully to appreciate and think about it from this perspective.

So now let's explore Cao Xueqin's Chapter 81, how he wrote Xiangling.Chapter 120—let’s talk about Gao E’s continuation—I have repeatedly stated that I am willing to comment on Gao E’s continuation. In general, it is passable, and some passages can even be said to be well written. But Gao E couldn't understand Cao Xueqin's intention of the first chapter at all. Whether he saw the early version of the first eighty chapters, whether the name in the first chapter was Zhen Yinglian or Zhen Yingju, he didn't understand. What is the profound meaning of a woman writing this way. Of course, he had to keep the story written by Cao Xueqin earlier. Zhen Shiyin's beloved daughter was kidnapped. The kidnapper raised her and sold her, and finally fell into the hands of a dumb king. "The evil wife. "Hedong Lion's Roar" is an allusion. It roughly says that after the woman became a daughter-in-law, she was very irritable and arrogant. woman.

Gao E has not changed the previous content, and it is difficult to change it, but he continued from chapter 80, but he tried his best to bend Xiangling's fate back.In his works, although "Hedong Lion" Xia Jingui tortured Xiangling, persecuted her, and even tried to poison her to death in the soup--the bowl of soup that Xia Jingui poisoned was replaced by the girl Baochan, and Baochan did not. Knowing that Jingui was poisoned, she changed it because she deliberately put too much salt in Xiangling's bowl. It turned out that she just wanted to play a trick on Xiangling, but Jinguizhi asked her to go out for a while and come back again. A bowl was placed in front of Jingui, and she changed it. As a result, Jingui drank the poisoned soup, and she died, but Xiangling did not die—Gao E designed this way, maybe because he sympathized with Xiangling, He felt that it was a pity that such a good woman died. He Dongshi, a shrew who is jealous of a shrew, let her die.Gao E has the freedom to continue the book. He made up the story in this way, which is considered ingenious, but it really does not conform to Cao Xueqin's original intention, and does not conform to Cao Xueqin's overall conception. And at the end of the book, it's also very strange, how good is Xiangling's fate when he writes about it?Following Mu Huangen and Yan Shize of the Jia family, Xue Pan, who had already become a death row prisoner, was pardoned by the emperor and released. Xue Pan's regular wife, Xiang Ling, finally became the wife of an imperial businessman.Of course, Gao E still knew that Cao Xueqin had predicted Xiangling's death, so he explained at the end of the book that Xiangling gave birth to a son for Xue Pan and completed the task of carrying on the family line of Xue Pan. die.Dying in childbirth is of course not good, but she has finally been a real wife, and it is not a tragedy in the world.Gao E not only turned Xiangling's tragic fate into a minor one, but also made her bad ones better.

Gao E's continuation of the book not only does not conform to Cao Xueqin's original intention, but also completely distorts and betrays Cao Xueqin's thinking.Of course, you can still think that Gao E's writing is good, you sympathize with Xiangling, and you think it would be better if the ending of death due to dystocia was changed. Then you have your own ideas, and I respect that too.But what I want to emphasize is that Cao Xueqin should be respected, not to mention the first time, regarding her name, Cao Xueqin has a way of writing Zhen Yingju, trying to use such a woman to take care of the overall situation. If there is still controversy over the naming of Zhen Yingju, because although Cao Xueqin has finished writing the whole book, it has not yet been finalized. Should Xiangling's original name be determined as Zhen Yingju or Zhen Yinglian? He hasn't finalized yet, so let's not dwell on that for now.Even if you don't think that Xiangling is a female character who dominates the tragedy, let's just take her as an individual case and talk about her, then in the fifth chapter, there is a very clear explanation about the final outcome of her destiny development, Gao E, Cheng Weiyuan and the others did not change that explanation in the 120 chapters of the passbook they had collected.

Cao Xueqin wrote very clearly that Jia Baoyu peeked at the album pages in the illusory realm, and he read the entire "Jinling Twelve Beauties Original Album".He read all the pictures and verdicts of the twelve beauties in the main book of prophecy.Cao Xueqin wrote very interestingly. He wrote that Jia Baoyu went to the illusory world and saw albums in the cupboard of Bo Mingsi. Is it the original book?no.He flipped through the secondary volume first, then he flipped through a secondary volume, and finally he flipped through the main volume. Then the supplementary volume he flipped through showed only one painting, which was a branch of sweet-scented osmanthus, and there was a pond below it.The water dries up, the mud dries up, and the lotus root withers. The artistic conception of this painting is obvious. Osmanthus fragrans is the symbol of Xia Jingui, Xiangling, the water chestnut that can emit fragrance, is to grow attached to the water body. Now that the water is dry and the mud is dry, the lotus root is withered, and the water chestnut is gone. way to survive. This painting tells us that Xiangling was finally killed by the sweet-scented osmanthus on the pond.

The words that match this painting are even more clearly expressed. The words in these albums are called verdicts, and Xiangling's verdicts are very clearly written.Water chestnut is a kind of aquatic plant, and it often coexists with lotus, but people generally think that water chestnut and lotus root seem to be inferior to lotus. It is reasonable for him to write this, because the story in Rongguo Mansion officially begins. When did Xiangling appear again?Let's not talk about the Gourd Monk judging the Gourd case, but say that after Lin Daiyu entered the mansion, Xiangling reappeared in the seventh chapter.Zhou Rui's family, Mrs. Wang's accompanying room, saw Mrs. Wang and Aunt Xue chatting there, so at this time Aunt Xue told Zhou Rui's family, saying that I have some palace flowers here, and you give these palace flowers to the ladies. At the same time, it was also given to Feng girl.Zhou Rui's family took the flower box and went out of the house to deliver the palace flowers. At this time, she saw a little girl walking outside Aunt Xue's residence. This little girl was Xiangling. Seeing her, Zhou Rui's family sighed. , and there is a thrilling sentence, saying, who does she look like in my opinion?Like Grandma Rong from Dongfu, that is to say like Qin Keqing. This is called "root and lotus one stem fragrance".That is to say, when she appeared in Rongguo Mansion, her status was very low. She was a little girl bought by the Xue family who forgot her origin. It is said that Zhou Rui's family has a lot of knowledge, and they would never use random metaphors for ordinary little girls, but the author pointed out through a sentence from Zhou Rui's family that although the little girl he saw was as small as a water chestnut, she had a noble appearance like a lotus.Let's not talk about my results about Qin Keqing's exploration, let's not talk about that level, then think about it, Jia Rong's official wife in Ningguo Mansion has a very honorable status, and she can't just use the appearance of a little girl to follow her She draws an equal sign, which is actually to tell readers that Xiangling's beauty, her nobility, and her inner temperament are no worse than those of the masters and young ladies in the Ning and Rong mansions. So Xiangling is not listed in the second volume like Qingwen and Xiren, she is one level higher than them, and she is in the second volume.

However, she "has suffered a lot in her life".Recall those eight words again: "There is fate but no luck, involving parents".In particular, remember the first four words, which are called "fate but no luck".So what happened to her later fate?It is very clear in the judgment, which is called "since the lonely tree grew in the two places, causing the soul of the fragrance to return to its hometown".This is called splitting. If you don't understand the meaning of homonyms or the method of splitting characters, it won't work. What is the word splitting method? It is to take a word apart and write it.What is "Since two places born a lone tree"? What does "two places" mean? The ground is land, two soils are piled up, and a lone tree is added, it is not a forest, not a double tree, but a lone tree. What is the word for a lone tree and two soils?Gui.He will tell you clearly that since Xia Jingui entered the door, Xiangling's tragic end will come soon, and "Xiang's soul will return to his hometown".Is this still up for discussion?Of course it means she is dead.Where is her hometown? It is far away from the capital city, Gusu, mentioned at the beginning of the novel. She used to have a warm family and a pair of loving parents, but after she was abducted, she could never return to her parents' house to reunite with her parents. Only after she died, her soul could return to her hometown, but everyone Thinking about it, her soul couldn't even find her original home, her parents, and her tragic ending is really lamentable. This is Cao Xueqin's idea.Cao Xueqin will write such an ending after the 80th chapter, probably in the 81st chapter. Therefore, Gao E wrote that Xia Jingui himself died, but Xiangling got upright instead, and also gave birth to Xue Pan's offspring, which completely violated Cao Xueqin's original intention and was wrong.

Then someone will definitely ask, you told us about Cao Xueqin, his text structure is 9×12, roughly every nine chapters constitute a plot block, the eighty-first chapter should start from the seventy-third chapter, the internal conflicts in the family In the last part of the brewing tragedy, you think Jia Yingchun and Xiangling should die this time. Then can you explain further, why do you think that the death of these two characters will be explained in Chapter 81?In Gao E's writing, Jia Yingchun didn't die until the 109th chapter, and Xiangling died of dystocia at the end of the 120th chapter. "Two times into a family school", the rhythm is slowed down, and the mood is leisurely. How can Gao E's writing be wrong? We should strive to grasp the rhythm of Cao Xueqin's writing.Every nine episodes is a plot unit, so it is the eighty-first episode, which is the last episode of the ninth unit. There are a total of twelve plot units in the whole book, calculated on the basis of 108 chapters, there are three more units, that is, there are still 27 chapters left.In these twenty-seven chapters, he will express a lot of content.First of all, there should be the love tragedy of Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu, and the unfortunate marriage of Jia Baoyu and Xue Baochai, these two endings.Let me tell you again and again, Cao Xueqin's novel cannot be simply understood as a romance novel, it is not just about love and marriage.Although Gao E’s last forty chapters are very long, you can find that he is sometimes very empty, so he uses some Jia Baoyu to write stereotyped essays, Jia Baoyu talks to Qiaojie, Baoyu praises Jia Lan, and even the Grand View Garden is haunted. , Jia's practice, etc. to fill in the text.He may have his reasons for doing so, but it does not conform to the rhythm of Cao Xueqin's text. In the last twenty-seven chapters of Cao Xueqin, in addition to writing about the love and marriage tragedies of Bao, Dai, and Chai, he must take care of some important political and social plots mentioned earlier. The political content refers to the faction involved with Prince Yizhong, Lao Qiansui, and the other faction represented by the Zhongshun Palace. The power struggle between them even directly involves the emperor's throne. That's what was mentioned in the verdict on Jia Yuanchun, which is called "Hu Si meets and returns in a dream".The battle between tigers and Si is to compare one faction to tigers and the other to Si, and Si is a very aggressive rhinoceros. Not to mention other evidence, I have repeatedly mentioned that in the first 80 chapters, when Cao Xueqin wrote about the golden unicorn, there was a comment from Zhiyanzhai, saying that this would involve a plot in the future. In chapter seventy-fifth, archery has already been written, remember?Jia Zhen summoned some aristocratic sons and set up an archery track under Tianxiang Tower to practice martial arts there. Then, after the eighty chapters, there will be some martial arts dramas, and there will be fierce fights between tigers and tigers. This fierce fight will cause Jia Yuanchun to die tragically. In addition to these political contents, Cao Xueqin will also extend his brushstrokes to other aspects of social life in a wider and deeper way. In terms of the space for the story to unfold, it will go beyond the two prefectures of Rong and Ning, and appear in some of the previous eighty chapters. There are no stages, such as the Temple of Hell. And those characters who appeared in the first eighty chapters and lived outside the two prefectures, including market figures like Zui King Kong, will have more active performances. Therefore, in the last three plot sections, it cannot be procrastinated, lengthy, and dull, and the rhythm will be accelerated. The mood will never be leisurely, and it is impossible to turn sadness into joy. Some people will say, if you say this, do you want to continue, are you talking about continuing? So now I will answer this question head-on. Of course I have the freedom to continue. Anyone who loves and wants to continue has the freedom to continue it.There are also people who continued it in the contemporary era, and there are several types, you can look for it.But what I am talking about now is indeed not about a text I continued. What I am talking about is the exploration of the true stories written by Cao Xueqin after the eighty chapters. I try to revisit the first eighty chapters with you through the exploration. Let me read some of the content of the text together. After I tell you my experience in reading the text, at least part of it should touch you. Maybe you have never read it so carefully before. So my lecture does not mean that I leave, just to talk about my personal imagination of the 80th time. The continuation book allows the continuation author to imagine, and of course he has to use his imagination based on the previous content. However, exploring the lost is subject to strict restrictions. We should still explore the original meaning of Cao Xueqin’s original writing on the premise of the existing texts and with the support of existing materials. There is a difference between continuing writing and exploring lost.Anyone who continues the book, if you don't find Cao Xueqin's manuscripts left by Cao Xueqin after the eighty chapters, it is impossible to achieve a complete restoration.Because Cao Xueqin has a unique feature in writing, that is, the plots of the characters he wrote are not completely summarized through the recitations, nor do they necessarily lay the groundwork in front. In many chapters, you can see many things other than the content summarized in the recitations , a story born naturally. There will be many unexpected small characters and cutscenes in his works. Just one example for now.For example, he wrote several times about the internal conflicts in the Grand View Garden, the disputes at the lower levels, and the battle for control of the inner kitchen.Later, a kitchen was set up in the Grand View Garden for Jia Baoyu and some ladies who lived in the Grand View Garden, including of course Li Wan, Jia Lan's mother and son, and their maids to cook. The supervisor of this kitchen belongs to the Liu family. This is a lucrative position, not only to master the kitchen but also to seek their own benefits from it.Other girls, if the person in charge of the kitchen is nice to me, then the food and beverages provided to me will be better. In addition to timing, I can also get a lot of convenience. So there was a battle for the inner kitchen of the Grand View Garden. There is a girl who everyone knows as soon as she is mentioned, Siqi, Yingchun's chief eldest girl, Yingchun is a very cowardly lady, but Siqi is very tough. Some people say that I know that Siqi is the one who had an affair with her cousin, Yue Ye, in the Grand View Garden.Let's not talk about that part. You must know that Siqi is not only very brave in love, but also very powerful in fighting for control of the kitchen. She led a group of little girls to rush into the kitchen to fight, smash, and grab. She wanted to overturn the status of the head chef of the Liu family. She had an aunt named Qin Xian's family, and she tried every means to get Qin Xian's family to be the head of the kitchen. Some of these plot flows were reflected in some of the episodes, and some were not, and there was no obvious foreshadowing in front of it. There is a branch plot among them, which is distributed between the sixtieth chapter and the sixty-first chapter. What kind of character is it written about? It's called a boy who stays in bed and covers his head. What is a scorpion? It's the toilet. In the Qing Dynasty, there was a kind of underage boy who would shave the hair around the top of his head and leave a hairstyle in the shape of a toilet lid, which was called Zongzigai. This little guy with a stilt cover is guarding a corner gate at the back of the Grand View Garden. The Liu family came out from her brother's and sister-in-law's house, went back to the Grand View Garden, went to take care of the kitchen, and met a young man wearing a veil at the corner door. This little boy with a twig is a very small character. He only appeared once in the first 80 chapters, but the writing is very vivid. He and Mrs. Liu were slick-tongued, meaning: where are you from now? It's not like coming from your house!Because the Liu family did not come back from her own home, but from her brother and sister-in-law.What the boy meant was that your whereabouts are suspicious, did you go to find Old Man Ye?This Liu family is also quite tough, what's wrong with saying that I'm looking for Ye Laoer? If I look for Ye Laoer, don't you gain an extra uncle? The two people bickered glibly. Then the boy made a request, saying, would you pick some apricots from the garden inside and give them to me?Then readers will immediately recall that in the previous chapters, when Jia Tanchun and Baochai were written, the responsibility contract system was implemented in the Grand View Garden, and the fruit trees were assigned to specific wives to manage, because these people were given responsible positions. In the future, they can get a lot of benefits, so they are very dedicated, and they don't allow others to steal plums and apricots. The Liu family said: You didn't look at each of them, your eyes are like Mucuna, I passed under the tree that day, Waving to chase the bees away, my good guy, there was a call over there... She refused to agree to the boy's request, and the boy began to reveal the privacy of the Liu family, saying that you think I don't know about your family?Doesn't your daughter Liu Wu'er just want to go to Yihong Courtyard?Because the Liu family is a slave of the Jia family, when her daughter reaches a certain age, she will be divided into rooms and assigned to a certain space to serve her master.Because Liu Wu'er is weak and sick, she was not allocated when it was time to be allocated, but now she is almost sick and needs to be allocated.Allocating requires finding a good space. If you want to be allocated to Aunt Zhao's house, it will be bad.Where is the best place?Yihong Courtyard is the best.Yihong Courtyard not only has the best treatment, but the owner of Yihong Courtyard, Jia Baoyu, is very nice. Jia Baoyu said that the girls here are too old, and they will not be assigned to marry by the manager of the house, but by their parents. Take them away and choose their future freely. Although the girls who go out will face the arranged marriages of the matchmaker and the orders of their parents, it is better to have such a prospect than to just "pull out to match the kid". Hope to find a better son-in-law.The Liu family thought it would be best to send their daughter to Yihong Courtyard, and they were indeed planning this matter, hoping to achieve their goal. The Liu family became furious when the servant who wore a veil to cover her head revealed her privacy.Everyone is afraid of revealing privacy. This cannot be revealed, it cannot be made public, and it can only be obtained in private. The boy who wore a veil and covered his head said: Don't look at me here and listen, I also have two decent sisters inside me, what can I hide from us!He wrote about the living conditions and psychological states of the lowest class people in a very fortified noble mansion. The lowest class people also have their pursuit of interests, their sources of information, and the factors that govern each other. Such a branch plot written in two chapters has no foreshadowing in front, and there is absolutely no summary in the chapter. If you don’t read Cao Xueqin’s original text, you can’t imagine it by imagination. However, Cao Xueqin's writing of such a boy with a veil and a veil and such a lively branch plot is definitely not a waste of words. a function. What effect? Now some people read that he uses the past for the present, saying that now we are carrying out reforms, we are carrying out the contract responsibility system, and there are precedents in it.However, Cao Xueqin wrote that Jia Tanchun and Xue Baochai implemented responsibility contracting in the Grand View Garden. Although there are certain elements, but in terms of text description, he grasped the balance. As early as in the previous related plots, he issued such a statement through the following servants Complaint: Only one "Yacha patrolling the sea" has been added, and three "Zhenshan Taisui" have been added.Wang Xifeng was hated by others, saying that she was a "Yasha patrolling the sea".At that time, Wang Xifeng was in poor health and was on sick leave. In the end, the "troika" managed the Rongguo Mansion temporarily for her. They were a concubine daughter Jia Tanchun, a relative with a different surname Xue Baochai, and a widow Li Wan.Ordinarily, they are three very kind people, and they are very beautiful in the minds of many readers, but in private, the servants unceremoniously call them "Zhenshan Taisui" who are as abominable as "Sea Patrol Yaksha".Therefore, Cao Xueqin's writing method is very dialectical. He did not fully affirm the methods promoted by Tanchun and Baochai. Then, through the plot of the boy with the veil and head covering, he further told readers that this new policy of responsibility contracting system also has many drawbacks, and it also makes the contradictions among the lower classes even more intertwined. Well, if we don’t see Cao Xueqin’s text itself, no matter how much we can find out such content, we won’t be able to get it out. This passage of mine is not nonsense, but I want to tell you that although we can explore the lost content after the eighty chapters, we should now spend more energy on reading the first eighty chapters, intensive reading, and close reading. Some details that were neglected in the first eighty chapters, such as the relevant texts about the servants wearing veils and covering their heads, should be carefully read. Speaking of this, we should talk about it later, since there are still three plot units in the back-we can only explore by unit, and it is impossible to explore some texts like the boy with the veil- —Then it is obvious that the situation of the entire Jia clan is already in dire straits. In this case, the Jia family will be convicted, and the emperor will send someone to ransack the house, and the ransacking of the house in Cao Xueqin's works will not be like the one in Gao E's. Gao E also wrote the ransacking of the house. , Just like scratching an itch, it was completely a false alarm.Soon, the Jia family consisted of Mu Huangen, Fushizhi, and Yan Shize.Cao Xueqin would write that the emperor's crimes against Jia's family were very serious. If it is said that in the following plot unit, it will be written that the Jia family was punished by the emperor, then what crimes should it be?Some people say that in Chapter 120, didn't Gao E already write the reason why the emperor punished the Jia family? What reasons did Gao E write about in his last forty chapters? You have time to go back and look it up.Do those reasons echo the foreshadowing of the previous eighty chapters? If not, what reason would Cao Xueqin write about? Please listen to the next lecture.
