Chapter 18 Afterword to "Evening Sunshine Collection"

Most of this collection of essays are written after September 1976. Prose is my favorite form of literature, because it is short and free, and I can write my thoughts anytime and anywhere; but during the ten years when the "Gang of Four" was rampant, I couldn't even write such short articles. In September 1976, on the day of Chairman Mao's death, my heartbroken voice burst out for the first time!In October of this year, the "Gang of Four" was shattered, there was a thunderbolt, the rain was over, the sky was clear, the mountains and rivers were bright again, the air was fresh again, and friends who hadn't seen each other for many years met again, and the backlog of emotions in my heart came to the tip of my pen again.I wrote articles mourning our beloved Premier Zhou, as well as friends who died in the past ten years, such as Mr. Lao She.In this collection, there are more works of Yi Miao, which is probably a natural law. As I get older, my peers will naturally become more "old and withered".
