Chapter 121 Mourning Guo Lao

At 16:50 on June 12, 1978, a superstar of contemporary Chinese science and culture flew past us with a ray of light and fell! He didn't fall, and he never will.He is always flying across the sky in the vast universe. Over sixty years ago, Mr. Guo wrote in one of his long poems: Human beings are silent, and ancient geniuses appear from the stars! The genius of Babylon, the genius of Egypt, the genius of India, the genius of Central China, the stars are immortal, your spirit will always be in the head of mankind! Meteors like teardrops are falling, the genius of Zhongzhou in the past!

……………………… The sound of the rooster gradually started to rise, the rising Chaoyun, I bow to you again, again. Now, under the reflection of the rising clouds, I am writing the words in memory of Mr. Guo. I ponder over the pen several times. My small pen can’t fully write his passionate and talented life. , It is impossible to write about his life of advancement, life of revolution, and life of creation.I can only begin with my own admiration for him. In the 1920s, I read Guo Lao's new poems, such as "Phoenix Nirvana~礌", and *炎船Mo重堂∈Kang LongfeiDuguan晡刂Lining the pan camel and courtyard Male rocky pine patella 2N ye zasu nang huang  resembles  invasion  Yin worm   t  jun  fierce lotus root longan wan wood Cidan ∷  thumb vinegar Scapular model  Cai Qiao silent catfish eh ding  Huang  silkworm 欤 [Imperial inlaid miscellaneous posthumous shape difficult A⑽ curtain  plus diarrhea Chang Wan difficult core empty line  owe ⒒ hard pregnant falcon blow imitation * We also heard the poet in the Great Revolution In the era, he threw his pen into the army, and later went to Japan. His articles on literature, history, and philosophy are all widely read among us young people. And I met Mr. Guo when we were in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War from 1941 to 1946.

At that time, Mr. Guo was engaged in the anti-Japanese and national salvation movement under the leadership of the beloved Premier Zhou, and I was also a member of the All-China Association of Literary and Art Circles Against the Enemy.Although I have lived in Geleshan in the suburbs of Chongqing for a long time due to illness, I still live in seclusion, but there are still some friends who visit the mountain, including Mr. Guo, Mr. Lao She and others.I remember that one summer afternoon, Mr. Guo, Mr. Lao She, Comrade Feng Naichao and others came up the mountain. On the hillside outside my door, in the shade of thousands of trees, they talked for half a day looking at the winding Jialing River.A few days later, Mr. Lao She sent me a banner given by Mr. Guo, on which was written a poem of the Five Rhythms and postscripts. I remember that the poem read:

The green curtain locks the mist, and the red candle reflects the clear stream. Wan Wan sings with music, Yin Yin's family and country are worried. Slightly pitiful and thin, Zhenjing stands on the top of the mountain. In the past ten years, all the books, characters, and paintings from friends that I treasured have been lost, and Mr. Guo’s banner is among them! When I miss a good teacher and helpful friend, I will recall every piece of my lost poetry and painting, which is an irreparable loss for me! Fortunately, I can still see a lot of old Guo's handwriting, some of which are recorded by Chairman Mao or his own poems; he can be seen in the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the Great Hall of the People, and other gatherings or places of interest at home and abroad. Passionate and unrestrained, dragon and snake flying handwriting.

Mr. Guo always writes and writes like a person, and his feelings are steadfast and pure.He loves the motherland, loves the people, loves the Chinese Communist Party that saved the people of the motherland, loves Chairman Mao Zedong, loves the good Premier Zhou Enlai who loves the Chinese people, and every revolutionary predecessor who has dedicated himself to the freedom and happiness of the people. With the brilliance of Marxism and Mao Zedong Thought, projected on his overflowing enthusiasm, he wrote many poems, words, essays, scripts...to unite and praise the working people in China and the world, to criticize, against the enemies of the working people of the world.Under the leadership of Mr. Guo, I have been fortunate to participate in international conferences several times, and I have heard Mr. Guo's wonderful and humorous impromptu speeches. I often see Mr. Guo surrounded by international friends when I entertain international friends. Happy to order the pen; Mr. Guo's speech is always full of fun, and the words written are full of strokes. With its beautiful language and writing art, it can properly display the revolutionary political content of uniting the people, educating the people, attacking the enemy, and destroying the enemy. I think this is something that can be learned but not attained!

Farewell to Mr. Guo!But after he wrote "Happy People, Find out the 'Gang of Four'", after he wrote the closing speech of "The Spring of Science" for the National Science Conference, which resounded through the sky and marched towards science, he was writing for the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. After the enlarged meeting of the Standing Committee wrote the closing speech of "Sincere Wishes", he died happily. He encouraged us to study the broad and profound Mao Zedong Thought, and to bear in mind the nurturing and care of the literary and artistic circles by the respected and beloved Premier Zhou. To write, to pick up a pen to fight, to step on all kinds of spiritual shackles set by the 'Gang of Four', to reflect our great era profoundly and brilliantly."

Old Guo!Your spirit will always be in the head of mankind. You can fly in the wind in the boundless universe joyfully and unrestrainedly! Those of us who admire you who are still on the land of our motherland will definitely strive to pick up our pens and join the battle to bring the "Gang of Four" The various spiritual shackles set up under our feet reflect our great era profoundly and brilliantly!
