Chapter 1 Spring breeze proud horseshoe disease
After the whistling westerly wind,
Chasing ahead, yes
The majestic east wind
Carrying the spring spirit of the day!
It holds high the bright red banner fluttering,
Driving across nine million square kilometers of suburban plains,
Come to conduct the labor chorus of 600 million people.
Thousands of chimneys belching smoke,
Thousands of hills and rivers have changed,
Come welcome this unprecedented spring.
The east wind will completely overwhelm the west wind,
One year, five years, fifteen years, fifty years,
There are countless springs of struggle before us!February 13, 1958, Beijing.
