副队长调查到的情况也是这样。他还说，当初处理案件的两名交警，目前均已升了官。

“有这事？”周一粲吃惊地抬起了头。
“千真万确，乡上跟县上联合搞哄骗，表面上说在关，其实一口井也没关掉。”
“这怎么可能？”周一粲不得不表示震惊了。怪不得秦西岳对她有看法，怪不得只要一问及关井压田，下面的人就吞吞吐吐，搪塞她，应付她。这项工作按市上的分工，是由一位副市长抓的，但此人很少向她汇报工作，有事情，总爱越过政府这边，直接去找强伟。
周一粲强迫着自己，没把心中的火发出来，但她怎么也想不通，在胡杨河流域的治理越来越成为一个尖锐话题、全省上下对此寄予高度关注的今天，沙县和九墩滩乡，怎么还敢如此明目张胆跟省上对着干？她真想马上拿起电话，打给省人大张祥生副主任，她倒要问问，省人大作出的决议，是不是谁想推翻就可推翻？

没想到，新来的市长竟如此肯定他，还说他工作有思路，有办法，开发区的同志如果都能像他这样，我们的开发区就有希望了。打那以后，毛万里心里就装进了周一粲这个人。日后，他也找过两次周一粲，周一粲很客气，也很热情，不但嘘寒问暖，还表示出一种愿望，想让他做九墩滩的乡党委书记。当然，周一粲没有明说，也不可能明说，毛万里却从她的语气里，感觉出这意思。
有时候人的感觉就是这么怪，毛万里如此粗糙的人，竟也能感觉出市长话里的意思来。
周一粲说过，但凡有抱负的人，就应该有机会施展才华。施展才华毛万里不想，做书记，他想，很想。在开发区做上两三年书记，就能打到县里去，如果周一粲这棵大树还在（奇怪，仅仅两次接触，毛万里就将周一粲视为大树了），他的前程真可谓不可限量。人生就是这样，对基层的小干部来说，上面有个人，比什么都强。毛万里甚至想，如果周一粲能早一点来河阳，他还至于落到这个下场吗？
真是说曹操曹操就到。白天周一粲还想过要找毛万里了解了解情况，这么大的事，毛万里为什么不跟她汇报？没想到，晚上毛万里就到了。这天的周一粲用了点小计策，并没急着把话题提出来。她倒要看看，毛万里会不会自己说出来。她很亲切地请毛万里坐下，沏杯茶给他，然后道：“小毛啊，最近怎么气色不大好啊，是不是又遇上不顺心的事了？”周一粲原来管毛万里叫老毛，后来搞清楚他的年龄，改称小毛了。毛万里三十二岁，不过面相很老，看上去足有四十岁，没办法，沙漠里风吹日晒，大自然的力量，谁也抵抗不了。

毛万里本来还想多发几句牢骚，一看周一粲变了脸，立马止住了话头：“周市长，这……”
“怎么，你也不说实话是不？想不到啊，你们对关井压田是这态度。乡干部都这认识，老百姓的工作怎么能做好？我还以为，你毛乡长的认识能高些，原来你还是跟过去一样，没一点提高。”

周一粲想拒绝，但又觉得拒绝不了。有些人，有些关系，真是难处理。这也是她到河阳后感受最深的东西，无奈，却又充满挑战、充满诱惑。其实这世界上，最难处理的，还是人与人的关系，你得设法与不同的人打交道，你得学会跟不同的人过招。更重要的是，这个过程中你还不能丢失掉自己，更不被别人左右。要做到这点，难啊！周一粲一开始是想努力做到的，也想为此而坚决地拒绝掉一些诱惑。可结果呢？到今天她才发现：诱惑不是你想拒绝就能拒绝得了的，诱惑无处不在，它不一定是钱，也不一定是色，它甚至不一定来自别人。你心中的某个念头，某种欲望，还有野心跟目标，一旦跟别人的欲望和目标发生关联，诱惑便有了。有很多时候她都在想：诱惑就在自己身上，每个人的内心深处都有一口陷阱，这陷阱里什么都有，就看你能不能把它控制住，但真要控制住了，你的人生怕也就暗淡无光了。
现在，她就立在陷阱边上，明知道跟周铁山交往下去，会踩到更多陷阱，但她又不能不去踩。
人的脚步，原本并不由着自己。谁让她体内老是涌动着一股欲望之火呢？现在让她放下那些目标，那些野心，几乎不可能。
那她就只能冒险！
“说吧，啥地儿？”
“'上海滩'怎么样？那儿新添了几道菜，请你品尝品尝。”
“你真是能吃啊，哪儿新添了菜，你都知道。”周一粲调整了一下心态，跟周铁山打起哈哈来。
“我当然能吃，你们不都说我这个老板是吃出来的吗？我要是不吃，岂不是辜负了领导们一片厚望？”
周一粲没再多说话，将电话轻轻压了。

过瘾啊！这些荣誉和利益面前，委屈算个啥？冷脸算个啥？难道他受过的委屈和冷脸还少？甭说是周一粲给他冷脸，就算齐默然给，他也一样不在乎！
他爽朗地笑了一声，冲门口招了一下手，就有五位花枝招展的服务小姐款款而来。这下，轮到周一粲吃惊了。虽说她经过的场面也不少，跟企业家吃饭当然不是头一次，见过的服务小姐，更是多得数不清，但今天这五位，还是把她震住了。

五位小姐忙活了一阵子，餐具、茶具分别摆好，笑吟吟站在了他们身后，两个服务员伺候一个人，余下一个，随时听候周铁山使唤。周铁山将提前点好的菜单捧给周一粲，请她过目。周一粲扫了一眼：简简单单六道菜，外带两碗粥，两道面点。她心里想，这一道菜，少说也值一千吧。等菜上来，她就傻眼了。她虽贵为市长，但如此豪华如此奢侈的吃法，她还是头一次经见。
第一道菜叫“双龙戏凤”——两只乌龟色眼朦胧地盯着一只乌鸡。其形，其态，做得活灵活现。河阳的龟都是死龟，就算个别酒店有活的，那也是蔫了吧叽只剩一口气的。今儿这道菜，那龟显然是刚刚空运过来的，说不定还是派专车候在机场，第一时间就拉来的，比起南方那些大酒店的龟来，一点也不逊色。乌鸡就更让周一粲吃惊了。乌鸡周一粲当然吃过，它是大补品嘛，对女人尤其有益。可这只乌鸡，是正宗的江西泰和鸡。在如今这个啥都爱造假、啥都爱冒充的年代，能吃到江西泰和鸡，真是一件奢侈的事。
更奢侈的是，今儿这顿饭，压根儿不用你动手，如果再懒一点，嘴都不用自己张，身后那两位如花似玉的小姐，会一点一点喂你。周一粲一开始显得很不习惯——让人家如此伺候，真是作孽啊！可一看周铁山吃得有滋有味，就连服务小姐半露的酥胸贴他脸上，也不脸红，也不避讳，该怎么吃，就怎么吃，很享受的样子，她心里就不舒服了：我怎么总也脱不了小家子气啊？不就吃顿饭吗？瞧你紧张成这样！还有，到了这时候，她也算明白了：今儿这场面，多多少少，周铁山有出她洋相的动机在里面。
想到这层，她索性就放开了，把自己完全交给两位小姑娘，任由她们喂她、服侍她了。
菜过两道，服务小姐捧来两杯冰镇洋酒，不是XO，口感要比XO软得多，味道也相对清爽一些。周一粲呷了一口，感觉很舒服，心想定是酒店调酒师自己调的。因为前两道菜都是大补类，周一粲感到身上有点热，加之两位小姐软绵绵的身子不时会蹭到她，虽是女人，但她还是有一种奇怪的感觉。她绯红着脸，半真半假地道：“周老板不愧是人中精英啊，真会享受。今天我算是学习了。”
