" Later, some people thought the old version was conservative, so they wrote a new version on yellow straw paper and inserted pictures: "The earliest Oshima people were a husband and a wife. When bathing, she went into the water naked, and her shade was immersed in the water. His two breasts slowly moved in and out of the water, and for a few hours, the lewd sound continued. The next day After a few days, a beast crawled out of the pool, like a pig and a turtle. The beast crawled to Bazi's house, and the eight sons were humped on its back. When they reached the deep pool, they jumped down. Both the eight sons and the monster Sink to the bottom of the pond."

Later, someone added a note to the second edition: "This woman is eager to cherish her husband, and the water god sighs with emotion, so she turns into this woman's husband and mates with her." Later, folk songs were released on the island: "The water god is so stupid. When he saw a mortal girl, he moved his heart. He was burned by a single thought, causing the woman to chase him into the water, and turned into a pig to express his heartfelt love. This is hard for the old water god. If she doesn't want her, he can't be chased away. Edited Cheng Shange warns future generations: "Girls are good-looking, don't mess with them. If you mess with them, you will become a wife. If you become a wife, you will become ugly. You can't drive them away when you sit at home."

The most popular and acceptable version is to change the epilogue, delete the obscenity, and change all the illustrations into a statue of a goddess.Below the statue it is written: "The god of water is touched by the girl's love for her husband, so she made it perfect, making the whole family turn into pigs and turtles into the water to reunite with her husband." Later, the statue of the goddess in the Zhugui Niangniang Temple was repaired according to the goddess statue in this version. The goddess is a woman with a turtle shell and a pig's body, with eight children on her back, and the expression on her face seems to be always humming.

The people of Dadao worship pigs and tortoises as gods. Anyone who goes up the mountain and passes by a deep pool has to bow, kowtow, or pay attention to the pool, and there are even more people who burn incense and pay tribute.If you are lucky, you may still catch up with the big turtle shell of the pig turtle floating up from the depths of the water.But the pig tortoises don't like people that much. Even across the Bazhang Lake, as soon as they feel someone on the shore, they rush to the bottom of the water as if fleeing, and don't return the courtesy.So people sing: "It's hard to see a pig tortoise, but it's even harder to be seen by a pig tortoise."
