前沿阵地已经成了火海，东北军与日军展开了残酷的肉搏战。 火光中，传武杀红了眼，手中一把大刀上下翻飞，一个又一个鬼子倒下去。尾崎站在一辆坦克上，挥舞着军刀，呀呀叫着，在指挥。鲜儿悄悄地摸上去，抬手一枪，尾崎惨叫一声倒下。鲜儿跳上坦克车，拾起那把军刀，又向里面扔了颗手雷，跳下坦克车，反身冲进厮杀的人群。老四挺着一支步枪，连着捅翻了几名日军，终于抵不住三名日军的夹攻，胸口中了好几刺刀，倒在了血泊中，犹自怒目圆睁。 传武杀得正酣，却不妨身后被一个鬼子刺了一刀，正中左肩，他忍痛转过身来，手起刀落，把刺他的鬼子砍翻在地。又有三个鬼子哇呀呀地冲上来，剧痛之下，传武只能招架，破绽更多，胸前又被刺中一刀，那鬼子用刺刀用力拱着，一直把他拱到墙根下。传武瞪大眼睛看着日本兵，眼里都要喷出火来。鲜儿挥舞着枪冲过来，大声地哭喊着“传武……”甩手两枪放倒了鬼子。传武靠在墙上，那刺刀却还在他的胸上。鲜儿抱住传武，传武惨然地笑了笑，双手抓住刺刀，大叫一声，生生地把刺刀拔出胸腔！鲜血顿时从他的胸膛涌出，他像一棵大树缓缓地倒下…… 四味楼，一家人正在慌乱地收拾东西。那文一边收拾着一边哭着说：“这是什么日子啊？”玉书说：“大嫂啊，别哭了，赶紧点儿，日本人要进来了！”那文长叹一声道：“咳呀，想当年皇帝爷被废，我也是深更半夜逃出王爷府，忙忙如丧家之犬，惶惶如漏网之鱼，这才过了几年好日子，叫日本人逼得又得逃难，我这苦命的人儿啊……”
