Alice's Travels in China 沈从文 1609Words 2018-03-19
I am here to invite the strangers who come to appreciate my little book with a hope.Let me make some explanations for the following: How should literature be counted? What's wrong? What about the laws of literature?I can't understand this at all.I have never read any books, and I have nothing to do with the academic career. I only know to write what I want, and I don’t care about doctrines. Believe it. In order to regard literature as a kind of personal expression, which is not limited to doctrine, era, and the theory of things, I have written several books outside the usual standards and rules.

, especially a piece of evidence that I walked my own way. After the first volume was published in "New Moon" one after another, some people in the book listed some words that seemed to be sarcasm but seemed true, thinking that I was trying to make things difficult for someone, and that there was a red or green (not a pointed flag) behind it. , making me speak like a certain type of person—a certain type of person, to put it plainly, is a so-called revolutionary writer. In foreign countries, besides revolutionaries, there are also revolutionary writers, whether the name is self-proclaimed or called by peers, I don't know. But I know that in China, adding the word proletariat to revolutionary writers is even more thrilling and sensational.

Recently, it seems that there are not many such people, and it is fortunate that there are so many geniuses.Kong Mou, a native of Lu, said: "Wealth can be sought, even if a man who holds a whip, I will do it." Under the present, from Wen Gu, who often suffered from poverty and illness, and knows to talk about a certain kind of literature in a certain weather All of them are prosperous in business, dough balls look like rich men, but they are as humble as themselves, shouting and shouting are not what they are good at, and they are destined to be poor and sick all their lives, and they are just fate.Talking is like a small needle prick, but a sour breath, where there is resentment, compassion follows. It is a mistake to suspect that since the text is dedicated to fighting the upper-class gentlemen, it is called a comrade. Those who worry about becoming a dangerous person from the text, and those who are on guard, don't have to.

However, with such a statement, there is no need for some active young writers to force me into the status of a restorationist or a reactionary. In my writing, I seek to shape my own beauty, to be at the mercy of sorrow and anger, and to be happy after success. At first, I never imagined who would love or hate. I can know myself, more than other friends, because I am not suitable for running any kind of opportunistic business, nor can I become a believer under a certain doctrine. I can't promote myself, and I can't worship any snobbery.I have chosen this kind of career to entrust my body and mind, but I don't have the leeway to compete with others for orthodoxy.Literature is peddled under the signboard, but it is only the work of writers who are cleverly selling the literary ideas of the Western Continent and registered under the current doctrine. There are attacks on imperialists and pseudo-gentlemen, but this is not to be better than a certain class and hope to be applauded by such words and deeds. It is sad and hateful for the weak to be insulted, but I also lack the strength and knowledge to find a way to help that is more practical than using words. For the sake of peace, I hope that others will not list me under any sect or doctrine. , I never thought that I could really be considered a "pillar", "authority" or "pawn" for a certain type of people.

I won’t stop writing novels just because others don’t take me seriously, and I won’t stop writing novels just because some young people who call themselves “revolutionary writers” call me “damn” and stop being abused. Humans and animals speak. In short, I am my own self, and all praise and praise are of little use to me. Any wise person who criticizes me at will with jealousy and other gnashing of teeth, his wisdom is really wasted. What I need is an opportunity not to seek knowledge from the world. All young geniuses, all great writers, all literary generals and all philistines, you have already established your reputation in the midst of your competition, peddling, pushing, and fighting. If you can exclude me in this situation, I can get a kind of happiness of release from your negligence, this is not a lie!

But the above words are almost deliberately satirizing someone, and it is close to complaining in this way.The so-called complaining, venting my grief and anger on a shallow matter, I really shouldn't have it anymore, and I should learn to use my strength to restrain the growth opportunity of this thing.I should tell the reader that this book is slightly different from the first volume.Because life affects mood, in my recent illness, I changed Alice's personality, but found my creative strength in a fantasy that reversed the logic. This seems to me to be a very precious discovery. However, it can also be said to be a "failure", because the consistent spirit has been lost.

At that time, when the northern and southern authorities jointly used martial law to stop young people from resisting the Japanese atrocities in Shandong and the management of Jinan, anyone who expressed grief and indignation could be called the "Communist Party", and it was easy to get a chance to beheaded. From the news in the newspapers, it is known that in various parts of China, many Communists are killed every day, and I think there are some non-Communist parties who are willing to take advantage of their injustice. It is touching that the Japanese have given the authorities such a good opportunity. On the one hand, they can kill some bloody young people who can hinder the deepening of political inertia, and on the other hand, they can further express the coexistence and prosperity of China and Japan. Woohoo, we Swear, saying that foreign policy can still be used in Britain in the future to consolidate the diplomatic relations between the two countries!
